As your wall says, your ramen made me smile and happy.
I'm not usually in the area and I decided to come with a friend to try out your ramen.
It was a great experience. We had our ramen split between us. Ramen has always been pricey so I couldn't complain. That's just how it is with premium ingredients. We got an extra serving of noodles which was really good. I had a beer with your black garlic ramen and it was a good match. We ordered a fried chicken side and it was a good compliment to our meal.
Service is excellent. Japanese greetings are expected in a Japanese restaurant. Everyone was so helpful and courteous. Your menu is focused on ramen and nothing more which I think is a great charm for a truly ramen restaurant.
Overall, I will definitely return but not too soon. Ramen's a guilty pleasure and I don't want to overindulge.
Glad we found this restau after our intense games during PNG2018 badminton games. Food is absolutely two thumbs up plus the energy of the working people, charming and friendly. Highly appreciated and commendable. Keep it up!
It was really my first time eating at this restau. When we dined, there wasn't so much people so eventhough the place was small we had ample seating and I would not need to worry our elbows might get hurt from passing diners. I love the ambiance, although, it was a little messy, I can still feel the japanese-y vibe in it. I love that they have an open kitchen, it gives me an idea on how my food was prepared and an idea for future business/ running a kitchen preferrences. Also, their attendants were very attentive 😅. Finally, for the food it was affordable for me. Like what I mentioned on my previous reviews for other restaus, quality and quantity should come together for me to judge it as affordable and in this restau it went together! Swak na swak! Large serving for a price that makes you busooog. I ordered a black mesozoba, though I don't know what it was I just felt I needed something different. I was told it did not have soup, which made me even more curious. And when it arrived it really did not have soup but it had a free one with it 😅 But what surprised me were the noodles, they're like thick and bigger than ramen noodles. It was a hefty serving and it tasted so good. I was full and grateful. Highly recommended
I had Kuro Mazesoba Black delivered. I didn’t know what it was and couldn’t understand well the instructions on the online menu on how to it eat. It’s like a Japanese pasta dish. The savory-sweet sauce went well with all the toppings and the hard noodles. I would love to try the Red version, but will have it in the store soon.
I love there ramen, especially there choices of broth. Approachable crew fast service, preparation of there ramen looks nice especially those who love taking photos 😊
I highly recommend the mazesoba ramen. Very filling and a finely crafted blend of various food ingredients and flavors. I will definitely come back for the ramen. One thing though the A/C wasn’t working as efficiently when we visited but it was good that they had tables outside and the weather was cool and breezy. So dining alfresco proved to be better.
Never tasted a "mazesoba" before but I'm glad I tried it out! Apparently, it's like ramen without the soup and it tasted amazing... a rare find indeed! Plus the food presentation looks like it's straight out from an anime. I also like how fast the service is and the ambience was very chill for me after a day's work. They also have this small shelf which contains mangas which we discovered once we were going out of the restaurant which was just sad because we wanted to read them.
Their ramen is really good and really gets you full. The place is well designed and clean. They have fast service too. Although it may not be the best ramen in Cebu but it's still delicious. 😊
The food is worth the price. Im no expert in eating ramen but the noodles isnt really my type, ive tried both thick and thin, the broth is perfect tho. Tried the koru tonkotsu, aka ni tomago and tantanmen. Gyoza and beef gyudon is ok . The chicken karaage is very good.
I recommend this place to ramen lovers out there. If you're fond of the thin type of noodle, then you'll enjoy here even more. I find it more salty tho, but only for the Black Ramen. I've tried the White and Red, too. They're all great. The Red is not as spicy as other dojos.
Maze soba is great, by mixing all the ingredients when you eat it, there's a twist to it. I really enjoy it. It's quite far but it's very worth it. I guarantee you.
