If you get a chance to visit Cebu, I recommend you try Joed's Lutong Hapon. Their food is not only delicious it's also affordable. Plus, the staff are all friendly!!
Whenever i think of Japanese food Joed's the perfect place ambiance is perfect staffs have a warm welcome feels like home foods are awesome with realistic pricing:) its a budget friendly for a Japanese restaurant;)
I came to this place with rather low expectations but I was pleasantly surprised. For the price you do get decent Japanese food. I would definitely come back and recommend this place.
My favorite cheap Japanese eats! I come here when I’m craving some delicious Japanese food, and when the month end struggles intertwine. The food is delicious, and the price cannot be beat. I always order the California crunchy roll, and the sukiyakidon. The makis are generally good, and the donburis are really filling.
the food is really a thumbs-up. one where you’ll surely wanna go back. spare ribs and the maki was my favorite. price was reasonable too. albeit the place is not that artsy or welcoming. i think that needs improvement. it’s not well ventilated but service was fast.

This is a heaven sent japanese dining resto. The ambiance is great, it gives you the JAPAN feeling in case you miss the place. The staff are pretty polite and accommodating, they always make sure that their customers needs are well attended. More than anything, they serve the best japanese and budget-friendly food in the city. They got the best sushi rolls in town. And by the way, never leave this place without tasting their Joed's special and samurai rolls. My forever comfort food. ❤

I enjoyed their foods Ramen and ribs and sushi and rice bowls even lots of rolls in 3times visiting.
Mostly, it 's worths for money. If you are not excepting too much from here, you'll be satisfy.
But, that's not mean it's super tasty. In Cebu, there's alot of Japanese restaurants has better taste. Only problem's they are offering high expenses for us.
So if you are craving for Japanese foods with limited budget, try this one.

Love love love the California Maki! Their servings are super sulit per pax. Their service is kinda’ fast and I like that they have a lot of food choices plus their platter is amazing — perfect for the friendships!!
This is indeed a budget-friendly Japanese resto that a lot of Cebuanos visit. They have an acoustic band every weekend, too!
I just think they offer very limited drinks, that’s why I always go for their fruit shakes (well it’s healthier). The place is not so big. Sometimes we had to wait longer to get our seats, but the food’s always worth the wait. Lol

I heard a lot of good feedback in this resto. It intrigued me to try it out and it did not fail to amaze me! Their spare ribs and other cuisine are indeed very good! The ambiance is quite dim and the sink was not functioning at the time of our visit so they should at least have a sanitizer or alcohol in case. This is very important because it is a restaurant but still I recommend this place and they should improve their sanitation.

I had my lunch here with three friends. We have been hearing a lot about this place so we gave it a try. The resto is easy to locate. The place is quite small and the ceiling is low. Good thing there were just a handful of customers so it wasn't crowded at all, considering it was a Saturday.
We tried all their four bentos, yaki canton, shoyou ramen, pork tendon, and two pitchers of mixed fruit juice. We were all full and satisfied. The shoyou ramen is my fave though the makis are average. I might not be back again. As they say, once is enough.
