I love W Café! I feel spoiled whenever my hubby and I go here for afternoon snacks or late night coffee dates.
Sarap ng coffee, pero sobrang affordable. I love their cheesy potato bacon wedges, pero sadly I don't always have the appetite for pasta whenever I'm there, siguro hindi lang siya good combo with coffee for me, but I'd love to try them some other visit pag grabe ang gutom ko. Best seller daw kasi nila yon, e!
Anyway, tonight we were there again at 10:30pm, 30 minutes before closing. Pero I got the same great service from the kuyas, and they even remembered to lessen the coffee content of my iced white chocolate drink kasi preggy ako. I'm so touched, they remembered! 😭
Lastly, it was my first time to try their grilled chicken pesto panini sandwich and I'm sorry if wala akong photo, kasi amoy palang alam mo nang masarap! Naubos ko agad. 🤣
We also ordered a slice of blueberry cheesecake for take out and malapit ko na din maubos. 🤣 Hindi na masaya kunan ng photo pero super sarap din nya, as in. 😍
We'll definitely be back for more! Keep it up, W! ❤️
** Photos I attached along this review were from earlier visits.
* I recommend din their iced latte, iced mocha, hot cafe latte, hot caramel macchiato and their mango graham slushie. Sulit dito. Enjoy!!! 🎉
* Added photos of their Mango Slushie and Grilled Chicken Pesto Panini after we went there for merienda. ❤️

My initial thought when I received the invite was "Wow. Cainta? Saan dito samen?". I immediately did some research, of course I checked the internet about their menu so I'll have an idea on what to expect. It turns out that this small hole-in-the wall cafe has a lot to offer. They serve finest cafe beverages from freshly brewed Batangas coffee, milk tea and frappes, all day breakfast, authentic Italian pastas, sandwiches and desserts using the finest ingredients.
It's located on the other side of Cainta church which makes it a good place to visit for a quick bite after hearing mass. The place is just 1 tricycle away from my village and yet again, why is that I didn't know about it?
My top picks:
- Pesto Pasta
- Java Chip Frappe
- Lechon Kawali with Pesto Dip
- Chocolate Chip Cookies
I feel very excited whenever I discover something new about my hometown as it makes me realize that there's really more to it than the nerve-wracking traffic. Lol, I'd definitely recommend W Cafe! It's definitely a great find as we don't have a lot of cafes here in Cainta, well, I mean there are some but they don't serve food this good. ❤️
I love breakfast! Pancakes, eggs, bacons ohh my. That's why this executive breakfast of W Cafe is something I'll order over and over again along side with a warm coffee, I think I'm good.
I also appreciate pesto. Super! And I must say, their pesto is definitely one of the best I had. Spanish sardines pasta was also okay. The fish fillet pomodoro for me was so-so. The shawarma, both beef and chicken doesn't look appetizing but I swear, it's worth the try! It's good. Promise.
The space was a bit small but the interior was really good. Instagram worthy, I must say.

This place is every Filipino's palate holed into a not-so-hidden place in the East. Located near the local barangay hall near Junction, Cainta, W Cafe serves what every millennial, health buff, and even coffee lover appreciates: good food and a chill spot to hang out.
Delicacies range from healthy options of pasta (loved the Spanish Sardines with its spicy flavor) up to everyone's craving of milk tea and milkshakes or frappes. They also now serve breakfast menu items that are sure to jump-start your day with such flavors. I would like to emphasize that they serve dishes made from the ground up. Meaning, they don't rely on powdered or too much artificial flavoring. Case in point, you should try their pesto dip from the Lechon Kawali--it's very addicting!
Lined with nice vintage materials, this "hybrid" of a cafe sets the ambient right with cool temperatures that sure set your mood to relax. It's a bit challenging to find though, but your friend Google easily solves that. What we got to try were:

W CAFE
Accross Cainta Church
Euros Commercial Building, Bonifacio Ave., Cainta, Rizal
Started with just coffee and cookies few years back, the silent @w_cafe_cainta just accross the Cainta Church, is now making its way to serve people more of quality foods like pasta, rice meals, breakfast, sandwiches, authentic Shawarma (made by a Sri Lankan chef), and take note of this, they will be serving MILK TEA soon, freshly brewed and not powdered huh!
And below are their must try food and drinks:
Executive Breakfast 4/5
- for those who love sausage, bacon, eggs and waffles for their korning grind.
Lechon Kawali 5/5
- for the happy lunch that would make you smile. Do note of the pesto dip that is sooooo awesome you can use it in any of your food items haha... This is a must try, believe me...
Pesto Pasta 5/5
- for those who like pesto flavor, this is the one for you, not too oily, pesto sauce is made from scratch which makes it more delectable.
Pomodoro 4/5
- I am not a fan of sour tomato based pasta, but theirs is customized to cater Filipino taste buds and its really good!
Spanish Sardines Pasta 5/5
- I love spanish sardines and this one is another must try! I like the little kick of spice and the balanced taste of the flavors.
Chicken Shawarma 4/5
- made by their Sri Lankan chef, this is an awesome one and the sauce adds to the greatness of the whole package.
Beef Shawarma 4/5
- also really really good, like the authentic shawarma taste plus the made from scratch tahini and sesame-paprika sauce.
Okinawa Milk Tea 4/5
- made from real brewed tea and not powdered ha!
Chocolate Milk Tea 5/5
- I love the dark chocolate taste and you can still recognize the taste of the brewed tea as well.
Coffee Latte 5/5
- the meow meow coffee latte is my coffee, nice kitty design, strong coffee and the smoothness of milk. Best paired with their chocolate chip cookies.
Java Chip Frappe 4/5
- chocolately taste and not so sugary
White Chocolate Frappe 3/5
- I find it too sweet but most probably younger generations would love this one.
Banana Bread 5/5
- I like it moist, soft and tasty.
Chocolate Chip Cookies 5/5
- super big sized cookie overloaded with chocolate chips is a must try, best paired with hot coffee.
So if ever you will be in Cainta, or after mass at Cainta Church visit them and have sumptuous quality food at an affordable price.

With the frequent bouts of rain and various roadworks contributing to the infuriating traffic jams in our part of the metro, it’s a wonder we Easterners can even manage to drag ourselves to any place in our pursuit of work, recreation or good eats. Fortunately, we don’t have to travel far just to have a tasty breakfast in a comfy setting.
