Katsu house is a quick fix for your Japanese cravings in Antipolo. I'm proud to say that their Katsu rice fills hungry stomach perfectly. They are very generous with their ingredients giving you your money's worth. Home cooked Japanese food at it's finest in Katsu House. Sarap!

I am not a fan of jap food except for ramen, but Katsu House’s different variants of maki and katsu rolls taste like heaven. I’ve tried them from a friend’s party. Will definitely order for my friends and fam. :)

Cozy place to have a healthy meal with the family. They serve great vegan food which are also good for people on a Keto or low carb diet. They even accommodated my request to replace the wrap of a burrito like vegan fish from tortilla to a lettuce wrap. Their service is great and the staff are awesome! YOU MUST TRY!!!😊

Love this place. Lots of choices, each with the option to veganize! As a vegetarian, this is heaven. And they have really innovative options on the menu. Prices are very affordable as well. I usually take out when I visit to make the trip worth it. Orders can take a while but it's okay. Friendly staff as well. Good food.

Taytay, Rizal is a bit far (especially, if you live within UP, Diliman, Quezon City). Worse, the traffic is bad. No, terrible. When you think about it, Rizal is not even in Metro Manila.

However, somewhere within a swanky village of Beverly Hills Drive in Taytay is a tiny, unpretentious Japanese restaurant that makes your long, exhausting trip worthwhile.

Katsu House has very good Katsu Curry Don. Choices of tender pork and chicken served with sweet dark sauce topped with egg and sesame seeds. Now, if your preference is ramen with piping hot broth, they have the extremely spicy Vegan Tantanmen.

Katsu House's Gyoza I fell in love with. An order comes with five pieces which is a meal in itself. Another appetizer was the Kani Salad. Thin strips of Kani with cubed fresh mangoes on a bed of lettuce which I genuinely liked.

Now, how did we end the meal? Dark Cocoa Cake and the Cocoaberry Cake that both were Keto-Vegan friendly. Honestly, it was my first time to eat something Keto-Vegan and I didn't know what to expect.

Well, after the first spoonful, I realized that it was not all that bad. You just need to get used to the taste.

Ordered Katsu Curry Don (159), Tori Katsu Don (149) and some Kushis. Price for these skewers range from 40 to 60php, depending on the type of kushi. Syempre favorite ko is their grilled spam nori and buribata. Super sarap! Their serving of rice meals are huge that you can share it with a friend. At first I thought it would be bland because of the huge serving baka mag-suffer yung quality pero hindi naman. Sulit for its price.

They also have frozen goodies. Will come back to try their ramen and sushis naman.

Katsu House in Beverly Hills, Antipolo/Taytay is a good resto to visit if you are in the area... And for some people has some dishes worth "Lalamoved".

Their dishes are so reasonably priced!

Katsu Curry Don for 159php. Choice of katsu pork, chicken or even tofu, topped with a light sweet-savory curry sauce over a big serving of Japanese rice!

Vegan Tantanmen for 199php! So good! Hot and spicy! Must order!

They have a vegan and keto dishes!

Try their katsu Spam, Mushroom and Kani (crabsticks)!

Have a Vegan Katsu Special that has shiitake katsu, eggplant katsu, tofu-nori katsu and sweet potato katsu for 199php.

They have good maki rolls too!
Katsu Maki 150php
Teriyaki Maki 180php

Then have their Keto-Vegan Dark Cocoa Cake and the Keto-Vegan Cocoaberry Cake! So healthy, not overly sweet but has that keto tatse that you have to get used to. And it's just 100php!

We met the owner as we were enjoying a feast of home-cooked Japanese dishes. Ms. Laura is a seasoned entrepreneur, as she has ventured in a number of food-related business in the past. This is her passion and it's seen in a well-curated menu.

Get a taste of Japanese with an affordable price tag here. It's not entirely authentic but they use quality Japanese ingredients. On top of their best selling Katsu which are crispy fried cutlet of meat or seafood, they also offer other familiar Japanese pieces.

While you wait for your mains, I recommend having a colorful plate of Summer Salad. They use fresh greens and top it with strips of kani and sweet mangoes. I love the combination of sesame dressing and their very own Japanese mayo in this order.

If you're a fan of maki, they have decent list of that here. We had two kinds, Spicy Shitake Katsu and Chicken Teriyaki Maki. The latter was more appetizing, thanks to its unique components of mushroom and fried pork cutlet.

They got familiar Gyoza too. And they made up new fillings that’s worth having. They got Kimchi and Shitake Mushrooms. Both are just Php 125 each for 4 pieces.

You can skip Katsu House’s Nori Tacos as they were a bit oilier than expected. Its ingredients absorb oil instead of dispelling it. The Kutshikatsu, on the other hand, were stellar picks. Our table got the kani, shitake and my fave, spam-nori.

We got three varieties of Katsu from the menu. And each one offered a unique experience. The Katsu Curry Don was a top pick for many of us, but could use a spicier and thicker curry to it. The Katsu and Chips (tonkatsu+tempura style onion rings) gave a nice spin but like the former, it needs tweaking. I suggested to the staff a thinner Japanese panko breadcrumbs to make it a meatier bite. The best was the Vegan Katsu Special Donburi, a collective bowl of vegetables wrapped katsu style. It was like a Tempura Karaage.

Since they cater to both vegans and people following the Keto diet as well, our team also got to indulge their hot and delicious Vegan Tantanmen and got to try Keto-vegan dark cocoa cake and Keto-vegan cocoaberry cake, both without flour and eggs, but rich in cream. It’s a great value at Php 100 each.

Down all these with any of Katsu House’s flavored sodas (peach, blueberry, strawberry, and green apple). They make these in their kitchen.

Katsu House is located inside a subdivision. But despite of that, they get regular customers. Most of them according to Ms. Laura are from different parts of Rizal area.

Located in a residential area in Antipolo, Katsu House is a restaurant that serves a wide range of reasonably-priced Japanese food. It is a good place to bring your family for lunch or dinner. We tried the Teriyaki Don, Kani Wrap, Katsu Curry Ramen, Mixed Rolls (Sushi + Maki), Chuka Wakame, Kimchi Beansprouts and Milo Overload Kakigori. For the donburi and ramen, you can choose between regular (pork, chicken, tofu) and special (beef). The curry is not too overwhelming, it tastes just right with either rice or noodles. The kani wrap has generous vegetables and kani but I found the taste of the wasabi in the dressing yoo strong. The mixed rolls were really good and perfect for a big family like mine. You get 16 pcs of assorted sushi and maki for P299. The dessert had generous toppings of chocolate syrup and Milo cereals. Will be back for sure 🍣

Katsu House is a one stop shop. Vegan, Vegetarian, Keto, Flexitarian or basic Meat eaters? You are all welcome. It's kid and pet friendly too. The owner is one of a kind, genius to some. I'd say a multi-talented individual who has a heartwarming soul. Heavenly good creations fit for everyone. I look forward spending my birthday every year here. I don't mind spending because it's all worth it.

My brother and I went here for a late lunch. The place is small yet cozy and clean. Can accommodate 25 to 30 people.

The waiting time from time of order to serving is a bit long considering there are only 2 tables occupied when we got there.

Is it worth the wait? Definitely!!!

At first I was thinking of ordering a 2-piece chicken Katsudon, (Diet daw pero big eater pa rin! Ahahahaha!) But then my brother and i decided to try their 16-piece Maki platter.

Their serving size for their Katsudon is good for 2. And yes, we were bith starving when we got there. At usually, pag gutom ka, ang madami ay sakto lang. Pero yung serving dito, sobra pa rin sakin. The crunch and seasoning match the sauce. My brother ordered his with the sauce on the side. Pwede yun. He ordered Curry Katsudon. For the non-curry lovers like me, it's not the scary curry type. Bearable. And surprisingly yummy, again, for someone not a fan of curry.

How's the Maki? TDF!!! (Recently learned what that means and it is just fitting to use it here. TO DIE FOR!!!) Grabe! Walang tapon. Masarap lahat.

Their Crunchy Kani Maki is a must-try.

We went home with super full tummies. Ang hirap nga sa motor e. Parang pag may humps, masusuka na ko. Ahahaha! We spent Php 675 including drinks for a serving good for 4 people. It's so sulit and worth coming back for.😊
