When I feel like having a Filipino feast on a budget, I go to Binalot and gorge myself on Bistek Walastik which already comes with a red/salted egg and sliced tomatoes, but I would still order a side of more salted egg and tomatoes, and fried talong with bagoong.
The only thing that would make the experience better was if I was eating this meal at the beach!
On my first time visit here I was surprised because they don't use plates-- now that's why it was called "Binalot" because everything is wrapped in banana leaves! I also thankful of their wifi to kill time and I will definitely come back!
Been here several times the past month. The place is pretty straighforward - menu, layout, prices. Food is good and selection is enough to keep you interested a couple of times a month.
For Pinoys who love the idea of "extra rice" this is a place you should try.
