AMAZING CURRY! Japanese curry is not that big compared to the usual Indian or Thai, but it is definitely one of the best tasting curries. The curry instantly hits you with an aroma that makes your mouth water when it is presented to you. The chicken katsu omelette curry was what I ordered and it was amazing. The crispy juicy chicken katsu pairs perfectly with he complex curry and the velvety egg. Chased down with pefect Japanese rice makes a perfect and complete meal.

CoCo Ichibanya must be my favorite Japanese restaurant EVER. They have the best curry I have ever tasted! I used to order chicken cutlet curry everytime but I decided to get the pork cutlet omelet curry. If you think you're full with eating the cutlet curry, you will be a lot more full when you order this one! Very delicious! Their ice cream is also tasty! Though it's a small serving of two scoops, it fits the price and more than fits the taste. I believe CoCo Ichibanya is one of the restaurants you should try even just once in your life. (And you know you're going to eat there again and again.)

I first tried this fastfood chain when I was in Shinjuku, Tokyo. For an affordable price with a huge serving of pork cutlet and lots of curry, it is definitely a hit for me since I love curry whether it be Japanese or Indian. The food price is almost the same but the restaurant here is much bigger compared to the cramped space in Japan.

Best Japanese curry in the world!

Ok, I'm a little biased as I'm addicted to Coco curry. This restaurant is the first place we've had Japanese curry together. I've been enjoying Japanese curry for years but this restaurant helped me share that addiction, err I mean love, of the dish to the woman I love.

This restaurant is rather small but of all the times we've been, it's never been busy. Most of the seating are upstairs and sometimes it's hard to get service since the kitchen is at the ground floor. Not always though. It's also as posh as most Coco Ichibanya stores next only to the one at Estancia (that one is super posh).

If you're ever in the area, this is a must try.

I wan't fond of eating curry until I tried CoCo Ichibanya on Uptown Mall. It's so good! And you can customize your order from the amount of rice, spiciness of curry and the toppings you want to go with it. My go-to order is tonkatsu and egg. Their croquette is also good.

Best curry place!

I really really love japanese curry! It's my comfort food whenever i'm stressed out. The flavorful thick sauce feels like a taste of paradise in every spoonful.

I first tried Coco Ichibanya when I was in Japan and I was not aware that they have a branch near my office. During my first visit, I had the vegetable curry with pork cutlet, standard spice and standard rice (yes, you can pick your spice level and get more rice haha). I upgraded it to a set meal (80php)- where you get to choose to two add ons ; salad, soup, ice cream and/or any drink. First bite already had me thinking "This is my new favorite place!" I was not disappointed as it taste just like what I had in Japan. 💕

On my next visit, I tried customizing my meals so I ordered a spinach curry (260php), spice level 2 and Sausage curry at spice level 3. I was amazed on how you can feel the zing! of the spice between 2 & 3. I think I can only handle it at 3 tho. But I think I might trt spice 4 next time and just add cheese to the curry. (Yes you can do that, there's a lot of customizing options you can try!)

Love the location too, the place always looks neat and I appreciate the calm vibes.💖

MUST TRY GUYS!

Its my first time here was convinced by my son. Staff named Zai was good she explained to me about the tomato based and the curry based which I think was a good effort. Kudos to you Zai! We had a very fulfilling meal. Worth the price. Like the fact to that they are open until 12md. Will be back.

On a day when my taste buds was craving for Indian spices and yet wanted to try a different cuisine, I got attracted to this place just because of it's simplicity in the ambience. The moment I entered, there was this strong aroma of amazing spices which made my day. I ordered for a simple stewed chicken curry and it was worth every penny. The best part of this restaurant is you can choose the level of spiciness and the quantity of your rice as per your appetite. This is a highly recommended place if you want a very satisfying meal.

For the love of all things japanese! 🇯🇵 Here we go! So we tried this Japanese Curry place for lunch today. First of all, I think curry is an acquired taste because it lingers for a while after you eat it. Anyways, i was excited when the plate hit our table the plating was very simple and looked very appetizing. I ordered the "Pork Cutlet Omelette Curry". You can choose from level 1-10 of how spicy you want your curry to be. Ofcourse I only tried Level 1 😋 It had a kick but wasn't enough for me to ask for lots of water and look for ice cream 🤣 The waitress even said that Level 4 was like 8 times level 1! Scared me. Lol. The taste of their curry was a bit sweeter than ours and had herbs that i can't seem to pinpoint. Maybe using actual curry leaves made the sauce very potent. Going back to the taste it was quite good. The pork tonkatsu was tender and the omu rice was really good! I loved how fluffy the egg was and the rice was cooked perfectly they all blended well together in each bite! Overall the experience was great and would try it again sometime. I was overwhelmed by the serving it was a really big bowl and I had a real big tummy after. Lol! But then again i had the "umay" factor after due to the curry lingering in my tastebuds and i could still smell it. Haha.

Fried Chicken Salad, Pork Cutlet Omelette Curry and some Naan Bread on the side! Oh man did we underestimate their serving size. We were so full and our tummies surely happy. I'm a huge fan of naan and it went so well with the curry. Salad was so good too. Curry sauce was great but the katsu could've been better in my opinion. Still I enjoyed our meal.

Being the reputable katsu-curry chain it is, CoCo does not disappoint. Amazing how the execution of food and the service standards are very identical not just across Manila branches but even between chains in Tokyo and Taipei. A sign of a truly seasoned and experienced establishment and brand.

Service is streamlined, portion is generous, food is good and delivers at value for your money. No complaints! The restaurant group who is handling this chain is doing a very good job 👏🏽

Coco Ichi was first introduced to me by my mother-in-law when we went to Japan. I immediately fell in love with it. I never imagined that you can serve curry like that. 😅 I was happy when I learned that there is one in BGC. The place is nice, big dinning space and the food tastes authentic. My go to order is the Shrimp Cutlet with tartar sauce and the Cheese Hamburger.

Best Japanese curry in town, hands down.

It can be hard to choose what to order because the menu is overwhelming. But I do have some recommendations - the items we’ve been ordering pretty much once a week for the past few months (I know, we’re obsessed)

Chicken cutlet with cheese - I recommend you request to separate the cutlet (this goes for the pork, too) to make sure it doesn’t get soggy from sitting in that delicious curry sauce for too long. The pork cutlet used to be my go-to but nowadays I prefer the chicken because it has less fat and is also (hopefully!) healthier. But then I make up for that by adding in an order of cheese. Yum.

Cheese hamburg with mushroom - cheese really is the recurring theme here. It tastes amazing paired with the savory hamburg and mushrooms

Other favorites in our rotation include the beef curry and thin-sliced beef curry. Both are cheaper but smaller servings compared to the other proteins on the menu

This place has clean and modern aesthetic, though the pics on the walls are remarkable wrinkly.

Had the Pork Curry (PHP340+ with service charge). Food is served with an unassuming but striking presentation. If it's your first time eating Japanese curry, you will realize here it's jap deep-fried pork and curry is a combination you never knew you needed! If you thought Japanese curry isn't something you'll crave for, this resto will make you think again! The pork quality was Yabu-esque, and goes really well with the curry, which wasn't overpowering. The rice is cooked to perfection, as well as the omelette.

Just improve the customer service. Though our servers were courteous, it was ever so difficult to get their attention. And they were sweeping the floor already for closing when we were still eating!

Review as of October 2018

Coco Ichibanya is my favorite curry place here in Manila. There is a comprehensive list of proteins and vegetables to go with all there curries (there are different curry bases too in case you haven't noticed) and lots of options for how much heat you want in a curry.

Dishes I've tried (for this restaurant I won't do my usual star marks because everything here is just darn good 😍)
- Shrimp Curry Cutlet
- Mushroom Omelette Curry Rice
- Vegetable Omelette Rice

Orders: Pork Cutlet and Vegetables Curry (w/ brown rice, spiciness level 3) and naan bread

I loooooove how tender the pork cutlet was. Okay, you may think im exaggerating, but i dont know if im just unlucky when ordering pork katsus or pork chops coz i always get those dried/ hard ones. So this one's good. 👌🏼

On the brown rice, it was also good! I was surprised that their brown rice was glutinous/ sticky--it still maintaiend its Japanese rice texture. Usually, when i eat brown rice in some organic or healthy resto, the rice is usually loose ("buhaghag" as we call it). So it's good that it didnt lose the Japanese rice texture. ☺️

I got surprised with the spiciness of the curry. Im usually the type who loves spicy food. I thought that I could handle level 3 without breaking a sweat. Unfortunately i did. So be careful spice lovers! You might end up ordering really spicy ones!

Naan bread was soooo good! It was sooo soft! Loved it!

Id come back here for sure! 🙂🙂🙂

This place is basically where my wife and I eat after a 10 minute back and forth conversation of "where do we eat? dunno, anywhere is fine/its up to you/etc etc ad infinitum". I guess we just find comfort in japanese curry.. And, its literally downstairs from our condo.

Shoutout to the honesty (if nothing else) of their menu. If the picture shows 5 pieces of meat/shrimp thats exactly what you get. Good to see some honesty in this day and age of Philippine society.

4 stars JUST because the Coco Ichibanya in Japan is just so much better. The comparison may be a weeeee bit unfair, but I see no problem in comparing something to its source, especially if the source is essentially a fast food joint while our version is a sit down resto.

ps: one of these days I WILL ORDER AND FINISH A PORK CUTLET WITH SPICE LEVEL MAXIMUM

Oh and please try to lessen the amount of plastic used in take out containers. It's like each food item has its own little plastic box. It's 2018 people! Time for sustainability!

Close to the one in Japan...but missing some very important choices when ordering food. Still the best option for Japanese curry in the Philippines! The original Coco Curry Ichibanya gives you a choice to pick a pork, beef, or hashed beef based curry to start of which is not offered here in the PH (We're given a choice of size of rice serving and spice level). Tasting the curry alone, the choice we get is the pork based curry. Too bad because the beef based curry is the better choice in my honest opinion and we're never given that choice. If you choose the pork curry based sauce you are also given a choice to make it sweeter by adding honey, but that is also not given here as a choice. Also in Japan, the hotness level goes up to 6~10, here we're only given until level 5. Here, I always order level 5 and I consider it mild to slightly medium, it doesn't make me sweat at all (I can eat labuyo so mild to me may be spicy for others). Lastly, you can basically choose what you want in your dish in Japan but it' also not offered here (they brought the set items only). These are the reasons I had to knock a star off the rating. Apologies for the slight rant but I had to get that off my chest! Lol! When ordering, the key things to add to any curry order is to get the roasted garlic, cheese and the onsen tamago (lightly poached). These 3 will bring your curry experience to the next level guaranteed! Make sure you mix these 3 in your curry before eating!

All in all a very good experience when eating at Coco Curry Ichibanya, but I wish they would include all the options. Filipinos are very knowledgeable when it comes to food, so please don't restrict our options Coco Curry! Still a highly recommended place to eat! Itadakimasu!

Coco Ichibanya is a popular restaurant serving delicious Japanese curry rice dishes. I’ve been to many Japanese restaurants and mostly tried katsu dishes and the sashimis, but I never actually tried Japanese curry yet. So I am really excited to try their katsu curry dishes!

I got a Chicken Katsu curry and had the spicy level to be at level 3. I also added fluffy omelet to accompany the juicy chicken katsu on top of the rice. I immediately love it after trying it! It’s delightful to the palate especially with the addition of the fluffy omelette. Wasn’t expecting it to be this good that I finished almost everything.

There’s a number of curry dishes to try on the menu and I’m looking forward to trying these on my future visits!

My favorite curry house. 😅

Whenever I want to eat something good or something to make me happy, this place is always on my mind. I’ve been here countless times but my default order is their Pork Cutlet Omelet Curry (360php). For me, it’s so sulit as it has a huge portion of rice, fluffy omelet and a big serving of tonkatsu.

I used to order Extra Hot (level 3) but I got used to it already. So I tried Crazy Hot aka their spiciest (level 5). It’s actually goooood! I thought I can no longer enjoy my meal and just burn my tongue but I was wrong. I actually liked it! But of course, it’s really spicy so I think I’ll just order level 4 in my next visits para saktong chill lang. 🙂

Its my lunch break from work. I'm alone and I have a hankering for some Japanese Curry. So I decided to head over to Coco Ichibanya.

I've been eyeing this place for a whole year but since I live and work so near, I don't see the rush due to its accessiblity.

I've kept inviting my hubby to dine here as well but he's a fan of Pork Kasudon and not Jap Curry, he doesn't see the novelty.

Anyways, I only have an hour so I head on over. Lucky me I was their only customer for a whole hour! I got exclusive customer service.

I love how clean and open the place feels. Having a 2-level floor to ceiling wall helps create this outdoor ambiance while enjoying the comforts of indoor AC dining.

I ate the Pork Cutlet Omelet Curry and it was delish! The meat was juicy and tender. I chose the standard spice level, I didn't want to feel uncomfortable, I was going back to work after all. The curry was nice, rich and very flavorful.

I recommend the place!

A and I usually go to Coco Ichibanya to get our curry fix. 💓 We go here around twice a month, since it’s just around BGC area.

Since we’re wimps, we order the “mild” version of their curry. We tried the Regular last time and we couldn’t handle it. Lol.

Our favorite? Sliced Pork with only 200g of rice. It’s only P260 each. The pork is flavorful and yummy and the curry flavor just bursts in your mouth. I love it so much!

You can never go wrong with Coco Ichibanya if you want to taste the aunthentic Japanese curry. I've tried their kastu curry and it's the same as the one that I've had in Japan. Their katsu is perfectly fried to a golden crisp, is moist and tender, and very flavorful. Combine it with the rich curry sauce, it's a burst of flavors in your palette. Since I'm already full when we went here, I just tried their chocolate creampuff since, the normal one with cream filling is not available. I find it quite expensive but, if you want to taste the real thing in Japan, this is as close as you can get. I recommend it just for the taste and for the sake of eating authentic Japanese cream puff.

What we ordered:
Fried squid and stewed shrimp curry
Stewed Chicken Curry
Pork Cutlet Omelet Curry

This is a comfort food place if you like well balanced Japanese curry. The spices in the curry is not overpowering and goes well with the rice. The squid was crispy and soft inside and the shrimp was extremely juicy and cooked well. Chicken was tender and shredded in the curry. The combination of omelet, rice and curry is really flavorful. First time I ordered the standard serving and found the quantity of rice a bit more for my liking. So the second time we ordered the 200gm rice serving and it was perfect for the quantity of curry served. You can also tweak the spiciness of your curry while ordering but I like the standard one pretty well. The pickle they serve at the table is also a treat to your taste buds. It is sweet and a little tangy and complements the rice and curry.

I'd never know that I love curry if I hadn't tried Coco Ichibanya. They have mastered the perfect curry down to an art.

Coco Ichibanya in Forbestown is just a short walk from my workplace, so whenever I'd crave for curry and a heavy meal, this is my go to place. All that rice, the super soft and fluffy scrambled egg, and the amazing curry sauce is just to die for. 😍

This time I went for Chicken Cutlet Curry instead of my usual pork. And it didn't disappoint. I normally don't eat lots of rice but everytime I'm here I just could not help it! The curry sauce was very generous that the plate was drowning in it, in a good way of course! The chicken was fried to perfection, and oh my gosh the egg, the egg was sooo fluffy and soft it literally melts in your mouth.

By the time I was done eating my tummy is close to bursting. But not a single regret. It was worth it! They may be on the pricey side but it's definitely worth it for the quality (and quantity) of the food. So if you're craving for GREAT curry, this is your place! 😊

This place is beautiful!!! It doesn't even look like it's just a simple, not so expensive curry place! The restaurant has beautiful interiors, with the lightings and just everything about its design still amazes me. Even the bathroom is really a comfort room!. The food is not bad. We ordered the curry udon and the pork omelet curry. We were asked about the hotness level of our curry. I love curry but I can't handle spicy food, so I went with the mild, but my boyfriend wants a challenge so he went with the spiciest. I loved that even if I ordered the mild version of the curry, I didn't feel like I missed the real essence of curry dishes. I was still able to taste the curry and the dish was what I expected. Oh, and good thing their staff recommended that I try a special sauce to mix with my order. According to her, the pork cutlet curry goes best with that sauce, and she was right.

My friend's a curry lover so she was excited to eat here. I, on the other hand, will never be a fan of curry. So again, I ordered salad.

One tuna salad with roasted sesame dressing, please? :)

Their salads are not the best but for just 100 pesos, choosy pa? They have different options available. Greens with egg, tuna, fried chicken, calamari, sausage, and everything on it. 2 salad dressings are available - roasted sesame or Japanese vinaigrette. Prices are from 100-250 pesos only. Very sulit na!

Service was weird, though. I asked for the dressing to be separated. Said it twice para sure. But still, they did not separate the dressing. Asked them why and they just said "ay, nalagay na po kasi eh, picturan niyo po ba? ayusin na lang po namin". Uhm, okay??

I am not into curry, but Coco Ichibanya became an exception after trying. I love their omurice! Good thing is you can adjust the spiciness based on your liking. Service is also fast and their friendly staff will make recos (as I was a newbie).

I heard Coco Ichibanya first when meeting with friends, I was a bit upset cos I figured it was a curry house. Don't get me wrong, I like curry - but it's not my favorite.

Then it all changed after my first bite - my mind was blown. I love my curry after all. Specially when it's paired with your favorite katsu and egg.

Their corn salad is so refreshing as well as their calamansi iced tea. You should also try their ice cream!

Another first! I don’t know why but I was never a fan of curry. After my experience here, everything’s changed! Haha!

I went safe with my order and tried the Pork Cutlet Curry with mild spicy curry and 200g (smallest serving) rice. To my surprise, I actually liked it. I was even able to finish the rice! The consistency of the curry looked oily but I wasn’t able to taste that during my meal. The pork cutlet was good, too.

I think that the service in this branch can be improved too. It took some time before we got our bill which we had to request for minor changes. We also requested for an official receipt with our company details and it took them more than 10 minutes to return to us.

I never liked curry but Coco Ichibanya changed everything. xD

I'm not into pork so I always order the Chicken Cutlet Curry. I only gave it a 4.0 because dishes here are quite pricey, considering it is not even unli rice. xD But it's really good. There was a point when I ate here weekly. :o

For P80 you can have 2 of any of the following: soup, salad or drink. For me it's pretty worth it. This is the only cheap item in their menu though. xD

Give it a shot, I'm sure you won't regret it. Their curry mixture is extremely good.

Been here twice. I've conquered until spiciness level 4. Looking forward to level 5. 😋

In terms of the price -serving size ratio, i think the price justifies the serving size, not to mention the taste as well. Some of us cannot even fully consume the whole meal.

Been here na, but still craving pa rin. Maybe kasi ito lang yung umaapaw sa curry sauce na hindi kami naumay. I ordered Cheeseburger curry with mild spicy curry sauce. Naubos ko siya kasi never talaga ako nakakaubos ng curry haha. Their burger is tasted like sa burger king but having the oozing rich-cheese in it makes them special. Definitely will come back 😊😋

I feel so late in falling head over heels in love with CoCo Ichibanya.  I've been meaning to try their curry dishes for the longest time,  work and other mundane stuff got in the way.

January 07, 2016.  I finally had the time to try CoCo.   The newest branch is near work,  i decided to grab some grub before heading home.

First,  i dunno much about curry and the one that hails from the land of the rising sun.  All i know is that i love stuffing my face with it.  The menu is extensive,  they offer a lot of stuff paired wirh curry - beef,  pork,  chicken,  seafood and seafood.  I asked the server for the bestsellers,  Cheese Hamburger Curry is one of the creme dela creme.  She sounds convincing,  so i gave in.  I opted for Crazy Hot level of spicy.

The food was served quick.  At first glance,  the dish ain't much to look at.  A slab of rice with brown unassuming curry sauce and hamburger steak in the middle.  But this dish is packed with flavor,  they stayed true with the Crazy Hot sauce.  Man!  It is crazy hot and i want more!!!  The first spoonful gave a rush of endorphins and set my mouth on fire.

What i like about the sauce is that despite the spicy element,  you get to taste the flavor,  the spicy stuff doesn't overpower the other flavors.  And who would've thought that burger steak  can taste this good...this is not one of those run-of-the-mill, fast food-ish,  full of extenders type of burger steak.  The steak is juicy and packed with flavor.  Cheese and curry.... Mmmm-mmmm.

And oh,  the interior is lovely.  Modern meet traditional,  high ceilings,  wood furniture and exquisite lighting.  The walls are adorned with big-ass photos of spices with a short description of its health benefits.  Wifi connection is stable and doesn't require a password.  The servers are quick and attentive.  I was standing outside ogling at the menu for a minute and one of the servers quickly approached with a big smile on her face.

Overall,  i liked my first dining experience at CoCo.  I will come back to try their other dishes,  next on my list is the Naan with Curry dipping sauce.  Next week perhaps?

Finally after months! First time at Coco Ichibanya and I was honestly not disappointed - straight up, no frills Japanese curry with no other embellishments, aside from the requisite rice.

I like how you can choose the amount of rice you get and the spiciness. I got the stewed chicken curry with the standard serving of rice and the level 4 spiciness. The rice looks a lot at first but trust me - it will barely make a dent in your hunger if you come really hungry (or hangry, like me). I would probably get something less spicy next time, just so I can properly taste the curry. I got extra cheese toppings too!

Definitely worth the price, as the curry is a good-size serving and you will need lots of rice!! Cheese was also a good idea.

The gratin is also good, though I'd just get the curry if I were you! It has more of everything for just a small price difference.

Staff are also quick and courteous, and food came out quickly :) they have nifty tablets through which they order your food and the interiors are pretty bright and clean. I'd come back here again!

Nice ambiance and good food. They have a variety of choices from the spice level, to the meat, vege, amount of rice and dessert. A little pricey though but loved the overall experience, so it's ok!

Tried the burger with cheese sided w Nan bread and chicken chops with white rice (not in pic).

Burger meat was good and tender. The cheese would ooze from the inside. I however found the size of the burgera bit small.

The Nan bread was good. Soft, chewy and fresh but a bit too thick.

I was here for the curry. Not bad but common in taste. You can choose your spice level. I chose extra spicy then realized that hot level of spicyness would perfectly work. It won't overwhelm the taste.

I haven't tried an original from Japan but ive been scouting around the metro for a really good Japanese curry. Something that would beat my expectation.
I guess i haven't really figured out exactly what a good Japanese curry is since i find most i have tried quite common.

Any suggestions?

I was so excited to see this as we walked around Burgos Circle looking for a place to eat. I first tried this in Japan. It was so good. I had the pork in Japan so I tried the chicken this time. I was so disappointed. It was so dry. The chicken was not even intact. It was kind of crumbly. The curry sauce is really good. It had a lot of flavor. One thing nice about this place is you can choose the heat level of the curry and the amount of rice you get. There are loads of topping choices too. We went here again last month and this time I ordered the pork. It was much better but still not as good as the one we had in Japan.

Definitely the "House of Curry". Yummy curry, generous serving. Love the part wherein you can choose the size serving of rice. We ordered the 200g than 300g, which is the standard, and got a less for the price since we downgraded the size. You also get to choose the spicy level of curry for standard to crazy hot.

Ambiance- 5/5
Service is fast- 5/5
Serving size- 5/5
Price- 4/5 (a bit pricey, but then food is worth the price)

Hello everyone! Eating never stops here in “EATS Jakarta Goes to Manila.” We have another EATSperience here in our hometown, Manila. This time we were able to try CoCo Ichibanya Curry House in Burgos Park, Bonifacio Global City. It came as a surprise when we got an invitation from CoCo Ichibanya Philippines, as we were able to try out the No.1 Japanese Curry House in the World. It holds the World Record for the Largest Curry Restaurant Chain in the World with over 1,400 outlets. Aside from CoCo Ichibanya’s World Record, we also have seen and heard heaps of good things about CoCo Ichibanya from foodies here in Manila, that is why we immediately said yes to their invitation. Are you ready to find out more about our curry-licious EATSperience? Here it goes, enjoy!

Curry across where I practice yoga... man... I gotta visit so I went. Did I think of the calories this will bring? Nah. The 1st touch of level 2 hot curry on my palate brought me to curry heaven. And the rice? I needed the carbs anyway after a good work-out and the pork tasted sooo good you won't even feel the guilt!

Yes, definitely will come back. Bring the 'rents too!

And yes, I kept coming back....
Quality is very consistent.
Service is impeccable.
Staff is very courteous, attentive, adept and never disappoint.

I'm not a fan of curry but being an avid supporter of anything Japanese, I've been wanting to try Coco Ichibanya ever since it opened in BGC.

So one day, my officemates and I had lunch here, and we were fortunate that the place was barely full. The ambiance was really nice, spacious and bright, customer service was commendable. The servers knew their products quite well. It was our first time to dine here so we had a lot of questions. One of them very patiently entertained our queries and explained what each meal was composed of.

They had a wide array of food options--from chicken, seafood, beef, burger, pork, even salad--but were a bit pricey, with each plate at an average of PHP300 or higher. One order can actually be split to two people; though if split, serving may be insufficient for some people especially if hungry. But each meal had sumptuous serving of curry sauce, which can easily be mixed with rice, and can serve as extra viand 😊

I ordered the Clam and Ripe Tomato Omelet Curry with moderate level of spicy-ness. The curry sauce was absolutely flavorful and just the right level of spicy, the omelet cooked to perfection and was slightly fluffy, which covered a bed of Japanese rice. There were also traces of tomatoes and seafood scattered around the curry sauce. It was indeed an interesting and superb plate of curry!

I was also able to sample the hamburger curry, which was a thick burger with delicous gooey cheese inside. Yum!😊

I will definitely be back to try the other curry variants!😁

I ordered a chicken cutlet meal and since I'm sharing it with a friend, I upgraded the rice portion to 400 grams (default is 300 grams) and added a cheese hamburger patty as topping. I love it that you get to choose additional toppings without ordering an entire dish, perfect for those people who are into variety or have big appetites.

The chicken cutlet was cooked to perfection. I enjoyed eating it as it was crispy and extremely juicy. On the other hand, the cheese hamburger was quite a disappointment. It was too cheesy that I had a hard time finishing even half of the burger, and it didn’t really complement the flavor of the curry.

There are a few curry restaurants here in Manila. The first curry house i ate in was in Megamall and it closed almost immediately. So passing by this restaurant, I just can't help but look at their menu. There's a lot of things in their menu and I had the Tonkatsu Curry Omelette Rice. And since this is a curry house, you get to choose your spiciness level. There is also an option to upgrade rice serving portion. I would definitely go back here whenever I have my curry craving.
