I haven’t had La Lola’s Churros in a while. I’m glad I did so tonight, it was Php 120 well spent. The Nutella Xuxos was crisp and delicious. It had just the right balance of sweet Nutella and banana.
La Lola also added new products to their growing menu. Besides the churro sticks, they now have Choco Churros. Its bite-sized xuxos served in a variety of flavors.
Happy to have ordered during a Holiday last Independence day, for P121, got a 6-pc Classic Churros with medium Signature dip! Was expecting for more dip though but still love it anyway! Always loved the interior, there are a couple of tables too.
I always go for the Classicos, with dark chocolate as my dip. Eating just three pieces, I believe is enough, for anything beyond that could be overkill, as it is too oily, and can be too filling considering it's supposed to be eaten as a snack.
Oh my. At first, I thought La Lola was a churrascaria— Brazilian steakhouse upon glancing at the sign. Churros, with various flavors? Sign me up! I had no idea they fry them fresh to order, so it’ll take 5-7 min or more, depending on the number of orders ahead. Mom introduced plain, sugarless churros to me as a kid, with dark chocolate dip to sweeten it. That was a big change from common cinnamon sugar loaded churros from theme parks and Costco (USA version of S&R). I’ve always wanted a churro loop dipped in flavor of my choice, topping off a swirled cup of ice cream. While I didn’t get any ice cream (limited to chocolate and vanilla here anyway), I had them dip a loop in matcha. Subtle, bittersweet matcha on a fresh churro. Yum! I also ordered 3 piece of plain churros with dark choco dip. I wasn’t able to eat any for 30 min but they were still warm, deliciously crispy outside and soft chewy inside.
One small thing that bothered me is they didn’t ask if it was for here or take out. I had to ask them to bag my items after they presented it to me at the pick up counter. The buzzer they gave me wasn’t activated either. Other than that, staff was very patient with my questions. I was in a hurry to leave and 5-7 min was a bit long, but the churros were worth it! Also, they ran out of many flavors for the regular churros. Staff told me they’d have to make more and only had dark choco, white, and butterscotch available. Seems like the flavored ones are drenched in dip and heavily drizzled with more cream/frosting. Happy I got a matcha loop and regular with dark choco!

Today marks a very special day for me and my co- food blogger Dheng De Ocampo. 😁🤗😇
This is our first time to dine in at Churreria La Lola together and we made sure that it is going to be memorable.
She ordered her favorite and I ordered and tried their Caramel Macchiato.
It was incomparably perfect since I had a taste of other Macchiato competitors! High five.
The ambiance was all good since the brand and the uniqueness of the store captures everything.
We went here not on a peak hour and on a weekday. We did not encounter long waiting at all. But, normally we see long lines here during weekends! :)
We ordered flavored churros and even though I had colds, I was able to taste matcha- legit matcha. Thumbs up 🙂
Place was also pleasant and clean 🙂
Ambience
Branch is really tiny with limited seating. A few high chairs are available in front of the cash register. Tables are on the left side with two more outside.
Food
Clasicos with the Signature Dip always succeeds in satisfying my taste buds. This is definitely a sweet tooth treat! Six pieces can be finished by one hungry foodie but can be shared by 2 or 3.
Service
Transaction was fairly quick. Waiting time for churros was a bit long but very much worth the wait. I'm not satisfied with the parameters for Eatigo discount because you can't share; it's very strict. You also can't use the discount for the 3 pieces with dip, also known as Clasicos JR size. Which means, you'll pay for the churros PLUS the dip, but with discount.

Coffee after lunch yesterday was at la lola as per request by my sister. Churros is alays lovely and we stayed at their seats outside to get some warmth from the decemberish cold.
Churros here were made fresh as you can see it by the color of the churros; it’s a lighter color despite it being crunchy. The chocolate dip is also thicker than how the other locations make it.
Clasicos Junior, the perfect end to a filling meal ❤️💚

Good classic churros. We ordered their 3-pcs Clasicos (P95). Our churros were served hot and not too oily (but would be better if they found away to still lessen the oil).
They have this new matcha drink and im soo loving it. Its not too sweet and not too leaf like flavor as well. Just enough matcha for me.i am giving them this score because of this drink and the experience that i dont usually get elsewhere. While waiting for my order the manager engaged me in a conversation and thats what make it to this score. I would say I will come back very very soon 😀
Before heading to the cinema, we bought their classic churros with chocolate dip. The proportion of the churros was big compared to others. Also tried their xuxos dulce de leche or filled churros but ended up into waste. Xuxos was too sweet. Still love the classic churros.

Gigantic churros freshly fried right in front of you! Amazing concept! Super affordable too! No reason not to come back!
The first time I tried La Lola Churros, my mom ordered the ultimate mixed churros. My personal favorite would be the matcha-coated and vanilla-coated churros. After eating two or three, I got sated.
On the second and the nth time, I kept on ordering the 6pcs. with chocolate dip! It never fails to satisfy my cravings for churros.
This time, I ordered for La Lola's new product, 3 pcs. mini churros, Clasicos Jr. with the matcha dip!!! AHHHH IT'S SO GOOD. It's super perfect! The price is a bit expensive for churros, but how can you say no? :< ❤ Will alwys go back for more!
So yesterday we went here to buy xuxos and lola loops, as i order i was looking through their glass so i can choose what do i want to buy and as i pick banana nutella xuxos the lady there said that it wasnt available so i ask how come it is inside the glass but not available for order and she said it was only for a display purposes. So somehow i was dismay about her reason because why on earth would you put in on display but we cant order it?? Maybe it is their protocol or something?? Anyway i chose nutella xuxos and white chocolate with crushed oreos la lola loops. And im so loving this churro craze!!! ♡ i want more. Will definitely try this again and will choose different flavor :)
Finally tried La Lola! Had their classic churros with dark chocolate dip -- super loved it! It was also cool to watch how the churros are made -- freshly made. It's a big plus to know that their churros are fried in olive oil!

The taste did not disappoint plus you get your money's worth, i could not even finish the medium size on my own!! Would surely love to try more flavors that they offeerr 💓
I've never tried other churros before, so I wouldn't really be able to give a detailed comparison. However, I love La Lola! Every time I go to SM Aura, I make sure to drop by the store so get some fresh and tasty churros. I always get the classic churros and chocolate dip. Never fails.
Wait until it cools down a bit if you don't want to taste anything but oil. It's the best Churros that I've had so far. For 6 long pcs priced at P110, that's definitely a value for your money. You can choose from regular or dark chocolate dip which is sold seperately. Branches that are crowded with people means you need to prepare for a long queue.
Attention Matcha friends 😂😂😂
I can't believe it when Reich Torio told me about the Matcha Dip in La Lola! Warm Churros x Matcha Dip is a matcha dream come true for me! I remembered when I tried their Matcha Churros - the matcha dipped and chilled ones - and wished that they made a dip instead. Now, it's already a reality!
I knew I had to try this right away. I'm more of a warm churro kind of gal so it was a pleasant news when La Lola announced this in their FB and IG pages. Available starting yesterday (Sunday) in all of their branches, I waited patiently to try it coz the line and waiting time was crazy! Took them about 15 minutes to serve my order.
Freshly made, warm churros, deep fried in olive oil and dusted with sugar - I got 6 pieces of their Classic Churros and paired this with their matcha dip that was priced just the same as their signature and dark chocolate dips. Verdict?!? It was good! It was sweet and runny and can get cloying but nonetheless, it was good! It tasted like the trusty KitKat Matcha, only in liquid form. Knocked down 3 churros while walking around SM Aura!
Note: the Matcha dip could have been better if it was a little less sweeter and if it was thicker!
This is my second time trying la lola, the first time I tried it ofcourse I loved it and I think it is worth the price but the second time around, I noticed that the churros became shorter than it used to be though the taste remained the same which is good.
Ordered the ultimate mixed churros. It had the
Clasico, Dark chocolate, White chocolate, Matcha, and Butterscotch. Also ordered some chocolate dip for the clasico. I enjoyed it. Nothing was overly sweet. Matches perfectly with a cup of americano.
I think I'm officially in love with their dark chocolate churros! Now I'm starting to regret that I ordered their mixed! ;) Nonetheless, at least I can also give a review for their classic churros too, right?
Churreria La Lola gives churros a great renewed twist! :) I grew up on Dulcenia churros so I honestly have high expectations of this place. All the more with their prices, more expectations!
Their classic churros are wonderfully crisp outside and soft inside. Their chocolate dipping sauce is priced separately at P60 but it's worth every drop! It's almost Van Houten chocolate good! ;)
Now for the dark chocolate churros.... it's essentially classic churros dipped in chocolate dipping sauce. Gooey and yummy, it's a wee bit shorter than their classic brothers, but I LOVE it! :) this is me talking even when full.... imagine if I was hungry. Hahaha!
For the mixed we paid P170 plus P60 for the dip. It's on the pricey side and honestly I hate their cashier.... too slow and she keeps on multi tasking on 10 million things instead of taking my order. They have very limited seats so that's kinda annoying too thus the less than perfect rating.
P.S. sorry for the almost empty photo.... my son and I really dug in! ;)
La Lola might not have the best churros in town but it sure does makes eating churros more fun.
When you get those churros straight from the fryer, you can't go wrong especially when you dip it in that chocolate sauce.
Then there's the different flavors from chocolate to matcha (both of which are my favorites.
They just need more tables inside the mall coz I ain't sitting outside when it's hot.
They also give out some La Lola balloons for the kids to play around with while waiting for dessert.
I had to visit a few showrooms last Friday and booked an Uber before things become chaotic. I got a call after getting in my Uber car and was informed that I could use the company car and have one of the guys drive me around. Sweet was the first word that came to mind. But it turned really bitter, salty, umami… anything but sweet, when things became crazy. And let me explain why.
Since the company car was finally available, I decided to be dropped off at Uptown Mall and wait for the car to pick me up. I was told that the driver was on his way but it will take him at least 15 minutes to reach me. It’s such a waste to just sit inside the mall and count the number of flies that pass by so I went up to La Lola and bought Iced Mocha (PHP130, large) to go.
There was a bit of order back log so I had to wait for a while before my drink was served.
But the servers do not seem to be proactive as they did not trigger my number to activate (or vibrate and light up) when my drink was ready to be served. I noticed my drink, alone on the counter, yearning to be loved. I asked the server if the drink was mine and true enough, it was my iced mocha. The server apologized though after I told her that I wasn’t sure if it was mine as my number did not light up.
Not sure if it is because this La Lola branch is new but these servers need to be trained. They also kept on chatting with each other making the preparation time longer.
Anyway, my iced mocha drink was lovely. It wasn’t that sweet and it had a nice chocolatey and tinge of caffeine taste. The texture was slightly rough so try not to order this if you have an itchy throat.
*Continuation of bitter, salty, umami story: The driver eventually managed to pick me up after half an hour and we had to go back to the office to change cars as the car he brought was coding that day. We quickly switched cars and went out again. But the driver got a call from an irate colleague and demanded the car to be returned as his bike was in it. In short, I ended commuting again and wasted almost an hour and half from this mishap.
