Once in a while treat yourself with a good meal. It was a busy valentines day but it did not compromise the great service of the staff.
First time to eat at a fancy steakhouse. For the price
it’s a bit pricy but the taste I think to much cheaper steakhouses you can also have it the same. What I love about is the ambiance and the good service. Surely will try the other portions.
Get the Japanese Striploin and you won’t regret stepping inside this restaurant!
Australian Wagyu Ribeye grade 9-10 was so good! So delicious and soft it melts in your mouth. Loved also their Fisherman's Pasta and Organic Salad. Didn't order dessert anymore as I was so full.

My first try of Melo’s steak was in Greenbelt makati and i really loved their steak. And when I tried it again but at this branch I am very satisfied because of the consistency and quality of the beef. Will be my one of my go to steak places in BGC aside from wolfgang and raging bull steakhouse. Overall, really happy with my meal here.
We enjoyed a lovely dinner here and the steak are amazing! The 5 course menu was well prepared and served. I personally loved the asparagus soup and the wagyu steak that was done to perfection! The variety of wine available is good and happy to see and buy a New Zealand wine when availabe :)
Casual Dining Steak House! Wagyu at its best ✨💫
The source of what is known to be kobe beef. It is raised in Australia primarily to produce the best steak the world can offer. Wagyu has grades ranging from 1-10 according to it's marbling. Grade 1 being the lowest and grade 10 being the highest. Served with soup of the day, sidings, and choice of sauce. Will surely go back to eat some more 😋

Melo’s has always been that date place, at least for the slightly older generation. True to its legacy and history, it’s ambiance is still quite romantic.
We had the steak sets with the BDO promo. The sets included a choice of soup and dessert. We opted for the Australian steaks, topped with foie gras, lobster tail and grilled salmon. The flavors were excellent and you get your money’s worth with the P1,999 price. The foie gras was enormous and the lobster tail was one whole tail.
My only comment is that although the steaks were tender and flavorful, all were quite thin, perhaps just about half an inch. It would have been better to have ¾ or 1 inch steaks.
A bit on the pricey side, we ordered wagyu. Having said that would assume thats the regular price for a wagyu meal. Service was nice, waiter explained what cuts or what is the difference between the steak. Ambiance was nice if want to take your significant other to a meal. Would i recommend, sure. I think the recommended price range for two in zomato is a bit off. Should be around 3000 per person.
When JodiesDaddy and I used to date, he would take me to Melo's in QC. We loved it there -- for us, Melo's was THE place to go if we wanted good quality and good tasting steaks. That changed throughout the years as we discovered a more budget friendly way to have steak which was to cook it ourselves hahaha. Luckily for us, Melo's and BDO MasterCard currently have a promo which offers 67% off on steak sets or 30% off on ala carte steaks. Thanks to this promo, JodiesDaddy and I were able to enjoy an excellent and relatively affordable steak dinner again at Melo's and it's been a while!
I had the 4-course Australian Wagyu dinner set. The highlight of which was this 6-8oz of Wagyu and lobster tail! According to the manager this cut of steak was only average quality, but it was one of THE best steaks I've had so far in terms of flavor, doneness and quality of steak (side note: Not shown here was JodiesDaddy's 13.4 oz of Grade 5/6 Wagyu steak which was an ala carte item. After he took a bite of my steak, he said it didn't compare to his). This was also probably just the 2nd time I've had lobster tail, but it was also super delicious despite it having just a subtle flavor. It was close to melting in my mouth. I gave JodiesDaddy half of this and he loved it as well.
Anyway, the Dinner Set also came with an option of appetizers (I chose the Calamares which was really tasty and I liked the dip it came with), a choice of soup or salad (I chose the Ceasar salad, which seemed like it was made from scratch - really good) and the dessert of the day (I'm not sure what it was.. it was like a cold créme brûlée but it was not as smooth as I wanted it to be).
Overall, it was great to be back at Melo's and since the promo is on until December, I think I know where I want to have my birthday dinner at.
I am not too sure what the hype is all about. Average steaks, average service, average ambience. If I went to Mamou, I’d probably have the same — if not slightly better — experience.
One of the best steak (and date place) in the area :) This steak and foie gras combo captures two of my favorites in one plate. Service is great. It's on the pricey range, but keep an eye on their promos to get a reasonably priced steak meal that comes with soup/salad ;)
We celebrated my birthday at Melo's Steakhouse with great steak, spicy chicken, complete with wine. It was excellent, literally the best steak we've ever had! Obviously, it is not cheap since you must pay the quality of the meat that you're going to eat ❤️
Delicious steak and good company at this restaurant one Thursday evening with 2 friends from work. Ambience is exactly what you need to make your partner have a romantic evening. Steak was grilled medium well as requested paired with red wine. I had to go for a second round as Imm feeling the evening. You are missing out if you haven't tried their steak at this restaurant.
It has been months since I purchased my Deal Grocer vouchers for Melo’s Foie Gras and Steak Set and finally, R and I were able to use it one Friday.
Hello, Melo’s.
I don’t exactly remember the last time I dined in Melo’s but it must have been more than a decade ago. All I know is that this is one of the established steak places in Manila. So when I saw a good deal in Deal Grocer, I nabbed the chance to enjoy a foie gras and steak set for only PHP999.
It stood the test of time and I made sure to take advantage of their promo for citibank cardholders. It was a delightful treat to be here with good ambiancd even just for their angus burgers. Medium well cooked to perfection together with truffle fries and a side salad.
Melo's is still my go-to steakhouse. You can get their classic steak cart for wagyu beef. I would normally go for around 7-8 ounces of marbled beef. That cut would just be right for me. The meat is so tender that you can easily slice it and once you eat it, it it so tender that it seems like the meat melts in your mouth. I also like their marinade. It has the right levels of saltiness/ sweetness that brings out the flavor of the meat. So if you're craving for great steak, this is the right place.
i came about a discount voucher for melo's so i decide to take my wife and son.
we went on a sunday lunchtime around 1130am and we're surprised we're the first to be there. other guests started arriving at past 12nn.
each of us got an 8-oz usda ribeye steak with clam chowder. we added bruschetta for appetizer.
we enjoyed our steak which was medium well done and the bruschetta. the steak was juicy and tasty. the potato and veggies were also good. the clam chowder however was just ok.
During our last wedding anniversary, we were supposed to go out of town and I took a leave. But, due to our moving into our new place my husband decided to treat me for a bit poshier impromptu lunch outside. He decided to have lunch at Melo’s in Burgos Circle, BGC. I think the last time I tried Melo’s was ages ago. So I thought it was a good time to try their food again. We ordered the, Gambas, Rich Pumpkin Soup, and Wagyu and Prawns (Surf and Turf). Plus, I ordered an additional mashed potato haha!

OMG this is my go-to steakhouse. Hands down
Ever after the first time salvaging the whole piece of grade 10 rib eye, I knew the searching is over.
This is my final destination. Everytime I come back to PH, this is the must go place for me.
I only have my steak medium rare. If you want well done - no steak is good for you. And it;s a waste of money and steak.
I tried the japanese steak last time. It was freaking awesome. I wonder what I would order this time.
Love the place.
..papa enjoyed mouthful of their Australian Wagyu Ribeye steak, the server was creative enough to suggest that the fat around the steak be chopped up and fried crisp - this made fajah's eyes gleamed and smiled like Cheshire. it was a surprise to have not heard papa talk while eating and happy to have seen him sighed heavily because he was too full yet overly well pleased with what he ate. he recalled afterwards that back in his day, steaks go for only 35php. when he got into the economics of things, he said that the price range before is somewhat the same as it is today (multiplying to about 100).
since i don't eat meat - sticking only to my lacto-ovo-pescatarian ways, i got the crab cakes. it's fried! and i love how it's made of lumps of crab meat and the spicy salsa was a kicker to the saltine palette of the crab and creamy mashed potato incorporated in the cake.
Melo's is a haven for steak eaters and their meats will not disappoint.

Hello, Melo’s.

I made a reservation for two at 7 p.m. and when I got there 10 minutes earlier, the place was empty. Well, there was a table occupied outside but there were no other diners around. To think that it was Friday and pay day, it made me realize why Melo’s was offering this irresistible deal.
I asked the server to prepare our steaks 15 minutes before R arrives. While waiting, I was given some soft buns and butter.
An Ausie Ribeye Experience.
First, I saw it on a TV show before (sorry, i forgot the show haha) and I also heard it on one of my colleagues said it was delicious and very popular in their #wagyu and #angussteak. To prove it, I looked at the reviews of other blogger 's blogsite and in #zomato. Well, they did say that it was delicious but PRICEY (expensive). ranging from 880php to almost 6k.. (eh di Wow!)
And then, by gift certificate I had a chance to eat here. The GC was good for two. I invited one of closest friend @revilo_adnarim. We ate in Burgos circle (branch), BGC.
Initially, we were given #bruschetta as our appetizers. We had #ceasarsalad. And, We chose #fishermanspasta and #australianribeyesteak as our main courses. For the Australian ribeye steak we chose rear -made. Very tender texture and the juicy - ness of every cut of meat feels like heaven (kaya pala mahal, Chos!)
And for our dessert, the super delicious #chocolava.
Well, just the wealthy can afford to eat here. Very expensive but also worth the price. And you will not regret you've spent on this restaurant.
Hopefully in the future I could return and have to try their other dishes.
Blogger's Conclusion: Most delicious #steakhouse I've been to so far. (Kudos!)
Place is good for an intimate dinner date. Staff are very accommodating in providing us info of the menu. For me though it's a bit pricey. Will probably visit the place on a special occassion lang. :D
Pricey but worth your money. The steaks are soft and juicy and perfect with wine. Even their dinner rolls are exceptional but I'm not really fond of the really dark interiors; other than that, this restaurant is perfect especially for special occasions.
I first dined at Melo's when they were still located at bel-air, tried their alabang westgate and bgc burgos circle branches too.
I keep coming back to them because for me, if not the greatest but, they serve the best Wagyu & Angus Ribeye here in the metro! Medium-well is my favorite 😉. We would always request that the side fats be fried as its so sinfully good!
I'm a fan of their simple french onion soup, chilean sea-bass fillet and many more.
Oh my, worth my once-in-a-blue-moon beef indulgence!
It can provide you the ambiance that you may need at the moment, be it a business meeting, casual hangout with good fellas or even a romantic date!
Kind of pricey but it's worth every penny!
Best Wagyu and Angus beef...
My family went to Melo's alot from the early to late 90s in the old Greenbelt branch. Then I lived in the East Coast until 2008 and during that time, I had steak in Capitol Grille in Boston, Morton's in Chicago, Bones in Atlanta, Ruth Chris in SFO, Sparks in NYC, ...
I went back to Melo's in 2014 and I was underwhelmed for the following reasons:
1. The ambience was not the one you'd expect from a typical steakhouse which is usually dark, hushed and masculine. The 2nd floor was right above our heads that the atmosphere felt cramped and cheap. We paid more than P5,000 for head so ambience has to come with it.
2. I got the Angus prime tenderloin from the steak cart and had sauce bearnaise on the side.
The steak was tender. But it didn't give me the game-y taste I'd expect from a medium rare steak. I had to sprinkle salt on my steak. The sauce bearnaise was not that thick either.
3. There was a huge industrial electric fan / aircon right in the dining area.
Come on! Ambience!
We ordered for Steak, Prawn Theremidore and Carbonara.
We entered the resto with doors closed, after few minutes, the person let us come inside without any people yet. We are the first to dine in that afternoon peek hours.
Their Prawn Thermidore is so perfect! I love the melted cheese and the big prawns' meat! So tasteful, really worth every moolah!

We just thought of having a quick snack after a long drive from Tagaytay. We decided to try any restaurant that is new to our taste buds so we headed to Melos. This is our first time here so we ordered a sure shot. Our favorites: tomato based pasta and pizza! Loved how fresh the tomatoes topped on my pasta tasted. I remember saying a few times that I really loved it! Plus the very relaxing and quiet ambience. We were seated near the window so you can go check out some nice cars outside! :)
Melo's is a fine-dining restaurant famous for its steak. I've been here twice and on both occasions I was satisfied with the food and service. Waiters were very attentive. I availed the Citibank dining deals so I was able to get 50% off its regular price. They served complimentary bread rolls with butter while we were waiting for our order. I ordered the US Tenderloin Meal set which comes with soup of the day, pate appetizer and 7oz Certified US Tenderloin steak. I paid 795 for the set meal. Steak was very tender and I liked the way that it was marinated. It was really good. I will certainly come back here the next time they offer another promotion.
I have been to Melos on multiple occasions and find that it is the best steakhouse to goto in the Burgos Circle area. However the place leaves more to be desired for the price range.
I typically get the steak cart with a ribeye cut (dry aged USDA grade boneless ribeye). The waitstaff will cut the beef right in front of you and weigh it. Each time it is grilled to a perfect medium rare. I am greeted with a Caesar salad (delicious homemade Caesar dressing with the perfect hint of anchovies) as well as their soup of the day (a creamy mushroom usually) which is excellent, and Melos freshly baked homemade bread. I'm very pleased with the patio accommodations as I like to sit outside to enjoy a beer and a smoke while I wait. They always have portable fans and aircon units as well as candles that keep mosquito's away. Relaxing atmosphere and excellent (very talkative) waitstaff. The overall taste of my steak didn't blow me away, but if you're looking for a decent steak in Burgos Circle area in the fort, this is the place.
Before going to Melo's, I'd been hearing about how it's supposedly THE place for steak. I wish I could call myself a steak connoisseur ('cause that would mean I've eaten steaks to last me a lifetime!), but I'm not, so I went there not really knowing what to expect.
Melo's style was, well, mellow: lots of browns, wood flooring and fixtures everywhere. Very stylish but a bit cramped, which makes it a good thing they also have alfresco seating.
Our meal started with soup (pumpkin, I believe). While it was thick and filling, I thought it was a little too salty. The more I ate it, the more it hurt my throat, so forget about finishing that.
And then we got to the steak. As I said, I'm not an expert in the field, but I do know what I like in steak, and what they had there, I did like. The tenderloin was soft and well-seasoned, and it didn't need the gravy or drippings it was served with (although that gravy was pretty tasty!). The mashed potatoes were nice and buttery, and the vegetables were not at all overcooked.
For dessert, I had the tiramisu. I wish I could say I was as happy with it as I was with the steak but it was a bit of a letdown because the sponge cake was dry. The coffee I had with it was really good, though. Come to think of it, I should've just poured it into my tiramisu to make it better.
My verdict? I'd come back to Melo's for the steak, but I'll check their menu for a different dessert.
