Thank you to Cris for the quick and nice service!
Good service. Easy to reserve. Excellent ribs. Had a great time. Will definitely come back again. Best ribs in town.
Food is delicious, service is excellent! :)
Enjoyed the bday celebration here.. :)
We had a great time at Racks BGC. Great service was given despite the busy shift. Yummy food as always and a very friendly/accommodating staff, especially Yang.👍👍👍
The classic pork ribs, fish and chips, and fried chicken are love 👌🏼 This place has been a staple of our family for years and years! Always feels so homey!
Staff is so awesome, approachable and very polite. Food is great too. The ribs was so soft and juicy. I would highly recommend dining here. 😀😀😀😍 good job, JP. See you next time.
Food quality is really excellent! I love how they charmingly welcome the customers. I ordered one of their blue plates, SOUP & SALAD! Super sulit the price. I can see the value for money. 👌🏼💯
Food=5/5 Good Food! Like the chimichurri fried spring chicken blue plate!
Service=4.5/5
Ambiance=4.5/5
Price=4.5/5 Reasonable for the big Serving!
Overall- Highly Recommended!
I love their southern fried chicken and my husband loves their buttermilk biscuit. So ordering their southern set is a must whenever we dine at Racks. Just pour a little bit of honey on top of it and YUMM!!
Thank Racks @ Fort Strip..thanks JP Otoman. The service is good. We like the food.. . Will be back. The ice tea was refreshing.... Sakto sa summner heat

Also the food is in very nice presentation, very pleasing and nice. Racks the fort stip team is very good when it comes in hospitality.
All staffs are friendly and accomodating, knowing the goodness of food here. Recommended place for any special events. We’ll Surely come back here!
Always happy whenever I'm dining in Racks! Good service and was really surprised how the brownie tasted so good!! So satisfying (ribs, chicken, Hungarian sausage and the brownies). Everything's worth it.

“Ang swerte ni Rina!” (Rina’s so lucky!) Richie frustratingly tells my sister last week. “Since I have work, she’s going to have lunch with a few blogger friends to cover Rack’s new Pork Belly dish!” I can understand how frustrating this can be for Richie. You hear bacon / liempo / and other pork dishes, you immediately think “Richie!”. To a point that friends and acquaintances often tag him to any photo or meme about bacon in facebook.
Another pricey restaurant but all worth it, the ribs is to die for :) service is very good as well as the interior and the food is really nice,
The ribs!!! 😍😍😍😍😍 love it! meat is so soft and delicious.
Location is good, nearby coffee shops where you can grab a hot drink after your meal.
This is the best Racks branch for us! Super friendly and attentitve staff. We always order the Southern Favorites platter- it's our children's favorite.
Went to Racks to celebrate my mom's and brother's birthday. Ordered their family platter "Racks Ribs and Chicken" which was good for 6. We were 5 and true enough, the meal was good for 6 (probably even more than enough) because we weren't able to finish it. Mind you, it was a sumptuous meal. We left the place with our stomachs full and heavy. Recommended for family celebrations on a budget.
Rack's used to be the only place for amazing ribs. They owned the market for fall of the bone meats. And they did this for many years. Today as we have the golden age of restaurants, real competition is giving them a worthwhile challenge.
Rack's still has 15 stores strong and they found themselves innovating and adopting to the needs of a profound number of customer profiles. Recently they launched Sriracha Pork Ribs, a spicy variation with bold Sriracha flavor.
Despite price points here on the high side, my staff and I dined here, it was my treat. We had a range of meats going including their staple juicy and flavor abound, Baby Back Ribs; lean and delicious Pork Ribs; a bit tough to bite yet tasty Beef Ribs and a whole Fried Chicken that tasted like Shakey's pride and joy.
We also had ample sides like creamy mashed potatoes, garlic filled garlic butter bread, sweet corn muffin, fresh vegetables of string french beans and carrots and loads of plain rice since my team just loves this.
What keep going back from one side of the table to the other was their legendary sauces. We were 10 and we shared bottles of their well seasoned and spiced original and its really hot version.
When was the last time you gave this classic rib place a visit?
I cannot even begin to describe my 2 visits at Racks! Though I am not ashamed to admit that I consumed the group meal we had like it was my last so I guess let's just leave it at that haha!
The chicken meal was amazing i loved the sauce. The corn was a bit dry. And i didnt like the taste of the potato salad. The service was great and the restaurant was clean.
This is still one of my favorite comfort food. We usually order the classic pork ribs. Half rack is just good enough for 2. The ribs are really soft and tender and charred. It complements well with their barbecue sauce. A simple meal yet would be one of my top of mind when craving for some comfort food.
Racks never fails me. The baby back ribs taste is still one of the best. Price is right for the ribs, service is great as well. The 2 side dish i selected arebrocolli &cheese and mac & cheese.
Will definitely come back.
We are all craving for pork ribs and since the area was more quite than the usuals because its black saturday plus the factbthe I like the service here. And Again we are satisfied, food and service. Fried Chicken is another a must try here.
We tried the new Sriracha-infused pork ribs in half slab size and the Onion Brick. Didn't feel like the soft and tender ribs were infused with the sauce, but they did serve it along with a bottle of Sriracha. The Onion brick was huge! At P255, I was expecting it to be half the size only.
Their ribs are quite alright, being that I've tasted so many other baby back ribs, I'd say there's still a lot of improvements (hopefully) for Racks. The ribs though were tender and juicy but the portions were quite bitin especially since their competitors are similarly priced but with bigger servings. As for the sides, I was very disappointed with their biscuits because I was hoping for real biscuits (picture Denny's or IHOP or Popeye's) but what I got was the local bakery type of bread.
My total experience was awesome. The waitresses are so attentive and very accommodating, they really get back to you every now and then. The ambience is great. When we arrived, there were just two folks eating and everything is vacant. It's not that spacious however I think, t'was very conducive for a late dinner knowing that only few were there that time (well, we arrived almost 10PM).
We ordered Clam Chowder, Classic Pork Rib, Classic Ceasar Salar, Garlic Scampi Pasta, and mashed potato and fries for side dishes. As expected, the food is on point. However, the highlight for me is the clam chowder, it blew me away. That soup is incrediby awesome! There's this something I can't explain but the taste is perfection! And in all fairness, I ate a very leafy and fresh vege salad that late - thumbs up for the dressing btw. I already tried there ribs and pasta; consistent and tasteful.
This restaurant is something I would recommend to my friends and family. Great food. Excellent service. Good job! 🎉
Racks ROCKS!!
One of my favorite events to celebrate is Oktoberfest! It might be that my inner Germanic-self just needs to drink and be merry for a whole month.
It's just awesome that Racks have finally made Oktoberfest their very own with a special platter of 4 varieties of grilled sausages paired with sauerkraut and German potato salad with prosciutto.
These sausages were specially concocted for the Oktoberfest special! Feast on the Louisiana Hot Links, Garlic & Cheese, Hungarian and Chorizo. Enjoy these sausages with Racks' barbecue sauce and maybe extra rice!
No Oktoberfest is complete without German beer! And Racks serves the German Kaiser Pils which is a steal at Php160 for 500ml (regular SML are 330ml).
Better head to any Racks to enjoy what's left of Oktoberfest!
The Oktoberfest tradition that began on October 12, 1810 as a wedding celebration of Bavarian Crown Prince Ludwig to Princess Therese von Sachsen-Hildburghausen, is now celebrated across the world. The modern-day German festival is celebrated internationally with alcohol consumption as an important part of its activities.
Now you don't have to go to Germany to participate in the world's largest annual festival to have a taste of Bavarian specialties like sausages that go especially well with the festival beer.
At Racks, you can tantalize you tastebuds with their sausages paired with bottles of Kaiser German beer (P 160). Their house-made sausages come in 4 flavors----Hungarian, Louisiana Hot Links, Garlic and Cheese plus Chorizo. A Sausage Plate (P 345) comes with your choice of 2 sausage variants plus German Potato Salad.
If you come with a party of ravenous foodies, you may opt for a Sausage Platter (P 495) to sample all sausages. It comes with German Potato Salad and sauerkraut (fermented cabbage) on the side.
Racks had adjusted their sausages to cater to Filipino taste. Their homemade Hungarian Sausage has a hint of Hungarian paprika to create a subtle spicy, savory sausage for dinner meals.
Their Louisiana Hot Links is the more spicy among the variants, great for spicy food lovers.
Garlic and Cheese Sausage is a sweet combination anyone will surely fall for. Rack's take on that German Cheese Krainer ( käsekrainer) is really very delicious! I so love its juiciness and specific flavor gained by combining garlic and cheese.
I'm a fan of Mexican-style chorizo sausages, and I like the smokiness of Racks’ Chorizo Sausage!
The German Potato Salad, sauerkraut and a bottle of German brew, Kaiser Pils promises to complete your Oktoberfest experience at Racks!
I haven't eaten here in a longtime, but I don't remember the wait staff to be this attentive. Onion Brick was good as expected, and the customer service was beyond expectations. Extra points for that.
So far, RACKS has been one of the places that serves great fall-off-the-bones ribs that also doesn't go stale immediately after taking out.
Salad is fresh and the taste of the dressing is great, not too heavy not too light.
Onion brick at first is delicious but can be overwhelming especially is there is a lot of oil underneath, love the sauces that comes with it.
Chicken and ribs are fall-of-the-bone and not only that, the bones are so soft, you can actually eat it without realizing.
Carbonara is OK, delicious but average, needs more toppings and herbs, IMHO.
This branch of RACKS has alfresco dining and ambiance is the same as other branches.
This place never fails to impress me. Hause salad fresh veggies and vinaigrette that is so good sweet and bit sour. Meatballs spaghetti is always a deligh the taste is right for me you can taste the tomatoes which in like. As always the meat is tender and juicy chicken cooked to perfection of course the biscuit is always there bery good. The dessert lava cake to die for love it. As always service is good and the price os right. One good thing no wifi bcoz they want their guests to interact just like the old days. Sure ill be back.
There is something nice about places which are known for the best thing in their menu. For Racks, the pride comes from their wide selection of ribs and steaks.
Or their specialty sauces, for that matter. A half slab of baby back ribs costs P480. This comes with two regular side dishes as well. I think the price is just okay. However, I felt robbed when I saw how small the half slab is. Well, I think I just expected a little more than that (been a year since the last time I ate here).
While the meat is not dry, it's also not in a juicy until you poured generous amount of sauce over it. Props to the broccoli which tastes more cheesy than the mac n cheese.
Racks is not lacking but with tough competition out there, "a house of ribs" is a title that's already too hard to claim.

The resto was nice and clean. The food was quite expensive but it was worth it! The onion brick was slightly oily,so it was not that crispy.
Rack's BGC is a great place for family dinners. We had the Surf n Turf Family Platter. It included a good mix of Rack's favorites (Pork Ribs, Fish and Chips, Pasta and Side dishes). Great quality food at a reasonable price.
It was already past lunch time but the place was still packed, but we were still lucky to get a table for two. After rummaging through the menu, Mark and I both decided to try their house specialties. Racks house specialties are served with a choice of garlic or corn bread and two regular side dishes. Their side dishes are served in hearty portions and are a great complement to their ribs. Mark got Racks Beef Ribs and chose garlic bread and 2 regular macaroni and cheese.
I love how the broccoli was cooked just right as it still maintained its crunch. The sweetness of the blanched broccoli was perfect and balanced out the slight saltiness of the creamy cheese as they melt in my mouth.
I then started to devour the Hickory Smoked Chicken as soon as I finished the broccoli. According to the menu, the chicken was slowly smoked to perfection and finished off the grill. That smokey taste and aroma was just heavenly. It had the right amount of saltiness and the peppery taste also made the chicken stand out. Plus, the chicken was very tender! I actually didn't have a hard time chewing the chicken to think that I just had my braces adjusted. It was juicy and delicious all throughout!
This restaurant really rocks! foods are delicious, staffs are good and the ambiance is perfect.
We tried their rib steak and it so render, fell apart from its bone, love the bbq sauce perfect combination. carbonara is creamy super love those foods. for the price yeah its expensive but you get what you pay for.
hopefully to try their other food sometimes. highly recommended for family and friends!

RACKS ROCKS! One of the first fine restos I've been to during my early employment years. It's here where i got to taste baby back ribs for the very first time. Their hefty Baby Back Ribs is well-marinated and its meat is tenderly good! Adding its signature BBQ sauce makes this dish truly sumptuous! Will never get tired dining at this casual food place. As for this particular branch, my only comment is that there's not enough space for all. 😋
I attended my first ever Photowalk with the admins of Sony Xperia Photography-Philippines last Saturday at the Bonifacio Global City. I was tired and famished after the shoot. Me and hubby were looking for a place to eat dinner and we were so glad we made it at Racks Fort Strip before the rain poured heavily.
Quite popular in the late 90s, Racks has been known to serve the best ribs in town. I think the secret to this is their special barbecue sauce which you can also buy from them. I prefer the meaty boneless served with a side dish. Their onion rings are also very good. This branch in the Fort Strip is a bit small and crowded, but you can reserve it for a private function during the off-peak hours.
Racks is one of our favorite because of the tender meat of the ribs and the bottled sauce. It was my first time to dine at Racks The Fort Strip branch. Just like the other branches, I love the homey ambiance and the white interior of this restaurant. The wait staff are very efficient and attentive. We truly enjoyed our meal.
My usual order is the baby back ribs and hubby always prefer the premium boneless. This time I tried the sweet and smoky pork ribs. We had bottomless soda that are immediately refilled when it's almost empty :)
We spent P1,200 for the meal. So worth the price!
Rack's started during the late 90's. I remember that we would often eat here. This branch is very convenient for those nearby condominium residents. Service here is okay. Must try here is of course their famous baby back ribs. The ribs are available in half or full slab, thus it's great for sharing.
I grew up with Rack's and they truly are the best ribs in town. Ribs and standard drinks are all we ever ate in the restaurant. I haven't been back in the restaurant for years since I was in college but recently, they have introduced interesting menu items such as seafood pasta, angus, brick onion rings and fried chicken. In fact, all their selections are mouth watering now and not just the ribs.
One time we were at SM City North Edsa and we decided to try this restau. We ordered baby back ribs and i just love it. It is so delicious and the flavourful. This one is to die for! Definitely this restarant tops the list if my favorite.
RACKS is known for it's tender back ribs, and I must say this dish doesn't disappoint. It's very delicious, the meat is tender, the sweetness and the spice was blended well. The carbonara was good too, although there's nothing really special about it. What I really like was their hazelnut milkshake!!! That was the best milkshake I've ever tasted. I'm definitely coming back for more! The place was very lit and comfty, the employees are not that satisfactory when it comes to customer service, I didn't like the way they interact with their customers. But over-all the dining experience was good :)
Racks is by far, my favorite childhood restaurant. I’m really glad they survived over the years! They used to have a branch behind Sta. Lucia in Antipolo. I’m so glad they still have branches in SM Megamall and The Fort Strip in Taguig. Although their serving portions have obviously become smaller over the years, the distinct taste of their amah-zing ribs have pretty much stayed the same. :)
The dish I like most in Racks is their fall off the bone baby back ribs. The meat is well seasoned and the accompanying bbq sauce further enhances its flavor. Service time takes long though so better come early or when you're not that hungry!

The food was always good, but ehy was there too many fly inside? Twas 4pm when we went there and the experience could have been better. Also, there was a hair in the rice that we ordered, and when we complain, please go out of the way to please your customers. Good thing thatthe fpod was always good especially the baby back! Try out the milkshakes too!!!
The only place i go to for my rib fix. I love how tender the meat is and the sauce is perfect. The food might overpower your taste buds after a while so make sure.to eat your sidings. My personal fave: broccollin with cheese and salad. And the corn of course! Yummy!
Racks is a classic rib place for me! Their baby back ribs are to die for! One of the best ribs I've eaten in the metro. The meat just falls of the bone, it's that tender and juicy! Although it takes a while, it is worth the wait!
Had a late lunch during the week and was pleasantly surprised and glad to see the consistently good food and service in one of our favorite chain restaurants. Quality and quantity are the same and the attentive server made it very enjoyable.
That fried onion brick is insane. Good with the spicy sauce thats served with it. Beef ribs are good too. Heavy even if just for the quarter rack. Shrimp pasta was good too but a bit salty.
My family is a huge fan of Racks we usually enjoy our Sunday lunch at Racks in BGC. If you like American type of food Racks is the perfect choice, Im a huge fan of their steaks and their bbq ribs because its so darn good it tastes like heaven!!!!! It is well cooked and the spices really sinks in your mouth. Our lunch wouldn't be complete without ordering a plate of steak or bbq dishes because its one of Racks' top dishes. So if you want to dine in at Racks you better order a plate of steak and bbq ribs and Im sure the price you pay will be totally worth it!
This is one of those restaurants that reminds me of my childhood...
When I was a kid Racks was one of those hip restaurants that people rave about. I always get excited whenever we eat at Racks, I would order whatever but there always had to be a bowl of mushroom soup.
After the hype died down however, we never went back. There were a whole lot of restaurants opening up, and of course that's where we wanted to be and that was what we wanted to try.
It wasn't until recently that we saw Racks again (I'm not sure if they closed all the branches down and reopened or what not) and decided to eat there for old times sake. Although I distinctly remember their mushroom soup wasn't so fancy back then, everything was really good. We ordered the full slab of beef ribs with mashed potato for sides, of course my forever favorite mushroom soup and the Mississippi mud pie.
The Beef Ribs were really smokey, you can taste the richness of the beef and for someone like me who has trouble cutting my food, no problem! it comes off the bone easily, effortlessly. I was kind of hoping though that it wouldn't be that dry but aside from that, yum yumm!
Like I said, the mushroom soup was a little different from how I remember it. It used to NOT have the Italian seasoning flavor or whatever it is but that's my best guess, it used to be super duper simple with croutons on top. I can't be sure though, hazy childhood memory. BUT I do have a pretty good memory. (fingers crossed) Anyway, it was also good though, very creamy and flavorful.
The Mississippi mud pie is the bf's favorite, we tend to order it if the restaurant has it. He would say it's for me but I'm a cheesecake kind of gal, he's the one who loves chocolate cakes. I loved it, it's top two on my list for its kind.
Last but not the least ( what a cliche thing to say), I just wanted a special section for their mashed potato. It now holds a special place in my heart, it's nothing fancy though. It's one of those mashed potatoes that you can't be sure if it's instant or real, I'd like to think of them as half-half but it puts a lot of other mashed potatoes to shame, at least for me and the bf too. So if you get the chance, try it. and let me know if it's good for you too.
Before I end this review, I want to tell the good people at Racks how much I love their service. They're very attentive, friendly and you can really feel the good vibes. so good job!
I do recommend you try it or go visit it again if you haven't in years and wanted to reminisce like we did
Happy Eating! :)

No fail. Racksarap! Simple pero racks! Go to place for birthdays and when life is not very good to you. Ultimate comfort food.
Good food and good prices....
This is always a good place to have some good comfort food at affordable prices. Sure it's not the best ribs, steak, and chicken but for the price it's a good deal.
we've eaten here a number of times and tried both the beef and pork ribs - the pork ribs are our favorites as the beef is not at all juicey (right word?) - some of the sides we've had were potato salad, cole slaw, mac & cheese, and gravy fries (not worth going back for) - a san miguel light tops off the meal perfectly

I have vague memories of Racks Ribs, especially their first branch in Tomas Morato many, many years ago. If I was not mistaken, they were the first restaurant that highlighted ribs on the menu. I was not really a fan of their dry style ribs, where you had to drench it with their bbq sauce. When I received an invite to try out their new product, I was excited to go since its been years since I've been there.
I though at one time they had closed down, but I later found out the present group bought the last remaining store in 2006. They kept the recipes for the classic ribs, barbecue sauces and the southern fried chicken then developed a whole new menu to complement them. They also changed the interior from the clinical all white it was before to a more cozy light beech and white color scheme.
The first dish they served us was an abstract looking thing called the Onion Brick. Thinly sliced onions, battered then deep fried into a brick like shape and served with remoulade and barbecue sauce. It's a bit hard to start eating it, not knowing where to start getting, like removing the knots form a string. Once we decided to just slice away, we could not stop, crispy and crunchy and made more awesome with a dip in the barbecue sauce. Perfect finger food while waiting for the ribs.
Before serving serving their new dish of the quarter, they presented The Kansas City Style Babys. A whole rack of ribs cooked Kansas City style, served with a side salad and two side dishes of your choice. I've never been to Kansas City nor tried their version of ribs so I wouldn't know how authentic these are. Once they were laid in front of me, I knew it was far different from the usual Racks ribs, this one was basted with sauce while being grilled. One taste and I was hooked, I think I finished off at least half. I could not get enough of the sweet, sticky sauce that had a bit of spice on the back.
If you want more of the Kansas City style sauce, you can just request from the waiter since the one on the table is their pair of classic sauces.
After that encounter with the Kasas style ribs, the Pork Belly Brisket just seems anticlimactic. The flavors of this dish are much subtler, paired with a nice red wine gravy. I'm thinking this would appeal to those that enjoy a bit of fat in their meats. This dish is served with two side dishes so would definitely be big enough for two people.
We finished off with some Mississippi Mud Pie.
I've been back twice to RACKS ribs after this little reintroduction, together with Irene and Lauren. We tried out the Memphis style baby ribs as well as the Southern Fried Chicken. Lauren gave her thumbs up to the fried chicken. I was not too fond of the Memphis ribs so the second time we were there, had the Kansas city style babys again. I prodded Irene to try and she loved it as well. I'm guessing we'll be regular diners of RACKS ribs.
Racks gives you the perfect combination every time. Value for money, taste, texture, flavor, aroma, name it.... I love their pork roast, just ask for the part that has little fat. you will really relish each bite. I love their sidings too. My favorite is the gravy fries. yum! Then try their soup as well. it's ok.
Their pasta is like other pasta in other restaurants so better go for the roasts. For groups or if you just have a bigger appetite, go for their combo which serves you a little bit of everything.
Their beef ribs are to die for too.
Since it's near my condo, it's really accessible, just a few minutes away. Plus their prices won't burn a hole in your wallet. But i definitely recommend eating at Racks when you're really hungry so that you'd get to taste everything they've got to offer.
Racks is love.
I've always enjoyed the classic dry-rub style ribs at Racks, with its signature flame-grilled, fall-off-the-bone ribs. Both the beef and pork ribs are great for lunch and dinner. And with a new breakfast menu, there now more reasons to visit Racks. And waking up a bit earlier than usual.
Racks' new Breakfast Sampler includes rib flakes from its signature pork ribs, sausage and their very own smoked thick cut bacon with corn bread and two eggs, done sunny-die up or scrambled. The rib flakes have a subtle crispness that goes well with the muffins and eggs. Pour some of Racks' very own barbecue sauce, and you have a seriously good breakfast.
Or you can go for the Steak 'N Eggs, with pan-fried, natural cut Angus Beef tapa with eggs and garlic rice. Another winner.
Breakfast at Racks? Definitely. And these are enough reasons to wake up early for breakfast.
