First time to try this time since I just normally go with the eni topping.
Got the Niku Fuji Soba - ang sarap!! The beef was very tender, the soup was malasa and the noodles were tasty! Only gripe is: price was quite expensive given the bowl size... Will chalk up to the SM Aura location
When we're craving for some noodle soup and want something less rich (and cheaper!) than ramen, this is one of our go to places in SM Aura food hall. We like their Aka Fuji Soba. It has beef and egg in a slightly spicy broth for only P238.
But for this particular visit, we noticed that the soba noodles are short. We complained about it and they replaced our order. But the replacement still has short noodles. Hopefully this is just bad batch of soba.
Simply Delicious and very affordable. I saw this ramen house when my partner and I were in Japan and since then been a frequent eater when they have outlets at Bgc, sm north edsa and megamall. Sadly, it seems slowly they closing shop. I
really do hope they won’t. Sayang. Don’t be like Ginza Bairin which closed shop. Nakakahinayang. Masarap pa naman food nyo.
It was my first time to eat soba noodles. The broth was not bad, buckwheat was dry compared to ramen noodles but overall, it was good!
More of this here https://youtu.be/vuEBkhlCriI
It's affordable and the size of it is just enough to fill your cravings for Ramen. I tried their udon with tempura and we also ordered other sides right after. Serving time takes quite a while and noticed that they first served food on the table next to ours but we ordered first, to think that we ordered the same thing.
My first experience was good. I enjoyed my hot soba, tempura and kimchi meat rice. Affordable and yummy food at SM Aura. I went back here and so far I still had a great foodie time.
Japanese noodle shop in SM AURA of Bonifacio.
The location is in the 4th Food Court.
It was very delicious.
I am glad that there are a few more toppings as there are few menus.
[2018-Nov-16] Lunch break from a whole day event at SMX Aura. I ordered spicy beef with thin noodles. The broth and noodles seemed similar to what I remember from my last eating experiences from the MOA branch. The beef slices though seemed more tender now compared before. I think my hunger made me forget to take pictures of the food before eating :)
Now that Nadai Fujisoba has moved to the food court, the restaurant has become more accessible for me and I am able to make smaller sized food orders. For now, I tried their tempura and I am quite satisfied with it. I am looking forward to trying their other dishes soon.

I wasn’t able to try their service at their actual location beside Nanyang since it’s currently underconstruction. They relocated at Food on Four for now. If it weren’t for this, I wouldn’t have seen that they offer food apart from tempura and udon. I’m not a fan of both. When I saw that they serve soba as well, I immediately ordered. I went for their Chicken Yakisoba, I was on a budget and didn’t see that Kake Soba is cheaper haha! I loved the taste of the noodles! It was savory, a little bit saucy, just right so it wouldn’t be dry to eat. I just think that the chicken is a little undercooked. Overall, I’d definitely go back for their other sobas!
One of the most affordable japanese places you can go to in SM Aura. What i love is that they have those loose tempura flakes at the table.
On this visit, I ordered the Mori Soba and the Gyudon. I add a bit of the tempura flakes in bith dishes to add some texture and some of their spicy oil to the rice. It’s satisfying and very good at its price point.
Katsu don is my favorite meal in this place. Good portion enough to make me full. Will definitely come back in this place and try their other dishes. They have wide selection of soba as well.
We went there on a weekend lunch time. We're a group of 8, and since the place was full we were given a 6 and 2person table, we're ok with it. Receptionist is friendly and attentive.
The place is clean, utentils available upon request since disposable chopsticks are available already.
I asked for some recommendations and the Aki Sobra was great. Food didn't take too long, we loved the noodles since it's served hot and cooked just right, taste is flavorful. The kids loved the tempura though I find the shrimp/prawn too small for price of it.
Overall pricing esp the sobas are ok, the tempuras could be improved though.
Cash and creditcard accepted.
Our new favorite place to go when craving for Japanese food. ❤️
Ambiance is perfect for me.
Accomodating and friendly staffs. 👏🏻
Food is sooooooo goooood but their serving, ang konti, medyo nakakabitin. haha!
We will be back for sure. ❤️
Super value for money. 280 for a bowl is such a great price. There’s a lot of meat and soup too, compared to what you can get from Marugame.
We had lunch today here. I super love the interiors that I forgot to take pictures of our food.lol It's ig worthy love this place and Of course, I also love the food. The price is very reasonable and good quality. I love the noodles and the taste of the soup it's flavorful and not oily. I also like the tea with ice without sugar it's so refreshing perfect for the hot weather. I will surely comeback here to try other food. Another thing the staffs are friendly too and they serve fast we don't need to wait for long.
Looking for a quick meal but wanted to avoid the fastfood outlets. Tried their pork tonkatsu and it was perfect - pork tender and tasty and just right flavor. Good service and nice ambience.
Food - delicious and skillfully done always. I like that they have tempura fry-bits as a condiment, which adds a fun crunch to any dish.
Service - attentive and friendly.
Ambience - cozy and simple, but still interesting.
In the mood for Japanese Soba, so hubby and I decided to dine here for lunch.
Upon entering the dining area, the space is not that big but their wall murals and over head ceiling made up for it. It entertained us to hear familiar songs but was sung in Nihongo. I really enjoyed the ambiance.
I ordered the Kake Soba which was very flavorful of the umami and 5pcs Ebi Tempura which was so huge I had a hard time lifting it with my chopsticks. A bowl of Katsudon for my hubby.
We had an awesome dining experience, we returned the second time. This time I tasted their Curry Don. It was good.
I love their udon noodles make it hot or cold soba. Servings of their rice bowls is also great. You can get full with just the rice bowls and will be unable to eat other food on their menu due to the servings. At the least thats how it goes for me. For people with big appetite this is worth a try. Ambience is great too. Not to mention not much people are eating.
There were not much people as I came in an hour before closing time. I ordered the cold hiyashi niku fuji soba (thinking I ordered udon). I was a bit surprised that the soba was not that soft. It tasted a bit undercooked. They said that the soba turns hard when it's with cold sauce.. Sorry, it does not make sense. I had soba in Japan and cook soba myself so it is still possible to have soft soba even if you have cold sauce.
While I was also eating, there were no servers around.
I had them change the container of the tempura flakes because they gave an empty and dirty container. I just found it a bit disrespectful to start cleaning the restaurant waaaay before closing time.
On the plus side, they got my order right. I specified that I didn't want wasabi on my dish and they also gave me extra soba sauce. The beef was good, too.
Their noodles are not too soft but just right. Ramen soup is rich although I'm kinda off with the consistency, but nevertheless it's still superb! With ice cold beer of course.
Their rice meal were great especially their beef rice meal which is more delicious compared to Yoshinoya and Tokyo Tokyo. Their staffs were accommodating too. Next timw we'll try their hot noodles/ramen. Thanks, Nadai Fujisoba! Arigato gosaimasu!
Ahhhhh this little piece of heaven brings back nostalgia
It reminds me of that one ramen house we ate at in Shinjuku
Their noodles alone are of high quality
Most people love their hot ramen but during summer when it's piping hot, I highly recommend trying out their cold soba! cold soba usually distinguishes the quality of the ramen/noodles in a restaurant. Since you do not have the hot broth added to give more flavor, you get to appreciate the independent flavor of the soba noodles and with this restaurant, their noodles are worth every penny spent
Located in ground level is Nadai Fujisoba, a Japanese reastaurant known for its soba/udon noodles. But today, we are reviewing non-soba udon meals. Important Note: Their bowl servings come in large or mini. And both it's very reasonable priced. You can get a huge bowl for 280 and split in two, actually.
I ordered their Ebi Ten Don (Php 280). The bowl was good for solo and the ebi were nearly as long as my chopsticks. It wasn't all flour, too so I was quite happy that every bit was filled with shrimp.
The blue pot pictured below was upon request and it is on the house. You can also order their chaa (looks like iced tea but is not sweet at all) which is also free.
Food arrived on time and the wait staff were courteous and responsive. It wasnt a place where you would eat, sit, and linger but it fulfills the main purpose why you wanted to go there.
One clear sign that you love Japanese food is when you crave for ramen on a hot day. I get that a lot and I just can’t help it. I need my noodle fix before I go crazy and one of my go to places is Nadai Fujisoba. . Hello, Nadai Fujisoba. I still remember the delectable bowl of udon I had from its High Street branch. Its delicate broth taste and delicious tempura left quite an impression. This time around, I was in the mood for more than a bowl of noodles.
As always i order cold soba here and still the best cold soba ever for me.But the only thing is the staff were too attentive to us.But we can pass that because they were lots of peoe.coming in and out of the place. They were full packed of people!Still i give this place a best cold soba ever!
Well for those who are craving for a japanese food, I can suggest this restaurant. Also for those with big appetite. There is a set menu, soba noodles with with top rice. In any case that you are in a date with a tight budget, still want to be on the bright side. I would suggest also that set menu. There is an option for what kind of noodles soba or udon, and rice toppings of curry or even pork tonkatsu.
Diners actually have the option to choose between udon and soba in some of the hot noodles from their menu. My husband had Niku Fuji Soba while I opted to try Ebi Ten Soba.
My husband and I are used to the usual rich and pungent flavors of ramen. That is why it was quite refreshing to slurp the milder and lighter broth of Nadai Fujisoba’s hot noodles. I loved that the broth is tasty but not overpowering. My taste buds were like an athlete being massaged after a tiring workout.
Niku Fuji has sliced beef, boiled egg, onion leeks and wakame seaweed. I loved how the thinly-sliced strips of beef melt in my mouth. The yolk of the boiled egg made the broth a little thicker and tastier.
Ebi Ten has two pieces of prawn tempura, onion leeks and wakame seaweed. The prawn used for the tempura is actually big. I also liked the fact that I could actually taste the prawns and not mostly breading!
This is my 3rd time to eat here in this japanese resto inside sm aura. We ordered the new meal which is the Salmon Belly donburi and it is really tasty, bit of salty maybe because of the soy sauce but it is good. The Ebi Ten Soba is also good, it is a must order if you visit.
Will be back soon.
I love the food here that I would go to SM Aura just to have their Udon!
My favorites are the Yasai Kakiage Ten Udon
and their Ten Don - and fresh buko juice to go with these. Yum!
One clear sign that you love Japanese food is when you crave for ramen on a hot day. I get that a lot and I just can’t help it. I need my noodle fix before I go crazy and one of my go to places is Nadai Fujisoba.
Hello, Nadai Fujisoba.
I still remember the delectable bowl of udon I had from its High Street branch. Its delicate broth taste and delicious tempura left quite an impression. This time around, I was in the mood for more than a bowl of noodles.
Nadai Fujisoba is a Japanese noodle restaurant that came all the way from Japan. It’s first branch here is located at Bonifacio Highstreet and they have another branch at SM Aura. I was fortunate enough to sample their soba which people might mistake for ramen but their totally different. First and foremost soba noodles is made with buckwheat flour, which is a good source of protein and vitamins, giving it is distinct brown color. The dish itself has a lighter flavor than ramen. Besides soba they also prepare udon and various other dishes such as tempura and donburi.

What I liked about this place is that they have set meals that are best for those on a budget yet want a satisfying meal. We ordered their kake udon with gyudon which only cost php 250 for the whole set and 5pcs ebi tempura for only php 290. It's one bowl of (real) japanese rice with marinated beef belly and one normal sized bowl of hot udon with generous serving of seaweed. The taste is quite normal by I'm impressed that despite the low and affordable price, their rice is pure japanese rice (some jap restaurants tend to mix japanese rice with normal rice to lower their cost). The beef though was of lower quality and mostly fat. Their tempura is also good considering the price and they serve it with the traditional tempura sauce. I liked how they separate the grated radish to allow the diner to add it depending on how much she/he wants it. Overall, I would go back here to try out more of their menu! 🤗
What separate Nadai Fujisoba, from other restos was there dedication to buckwheat noodles. They are hand made and the ingredients of the buckwheat is shipped from Japan. Chef Was invited by Jenny, to try out Fujisoba, I always wanted to try this resto back in high street and it was always packed. Their 2nd branch is located at the lower ground floor of SM Aura along LAVA.
The ambiance was nice and filled with Japanese decorations. I especially liked the mural of Japanese art above.
We were asked to place our order. I tried the Tori Tsuke Soba /Udon (P280) and the Ebi Tendon (P380) as it was recommended best sellers. I liked the tempuro of their Ebi Tendon, it wasn't oily yet the batter and shrimp was packed with umami but you'll never get tired of the flavor. For that price it also had a heaping serving of rice and 3 pieces of Large Tempuras. The Tori Tsuke was packed with Nori Flakes and the buckwheat noodles was heavy yet yummy. It also had big serving and by the time I already finished it I wasn't able to touch my Ebi Tendon anymore. I also tried their Kakiage Mori (P300), I particularly liked the red ginger, the onion one was good as well. The Ika Ten (3pcs P180) was a crowd favorite too. The squid was chewy but easy to swallow. All of them doesn't have oily batter and was good.
I ended with Kuro Goma (Black bean ) Ice cream. Their black bean is mixed with milk so the color is grey but it made it more sweeter with a black bean after taste.
Overall I had fun trying Nadai Fujisoba. For the food quality and price, it's almost a steal.
Food 4.5/5 - Super good food. Would come back.
Service 4.5/5 - House tea and house water was always being refilled without asking.
Ambiance 4/5 - No instagrammable wall but what makes up for it is their superb food.
Price 5/5 -Good prices nothing over 400 and the serving was a lot.
*Edit* (I tried their new dishes!)
Tried the Karaage and the Salmon Belly Donburi. The Salmon was really good it was on par with the unagi dish i had in little tokyo makati except that it's salmon. (I think it's a good alternative since unagi is much more expensive). The salmon had no after frozen thaw taste unlike in other I tried. The karaage was also good reminds me of a Japanese fusion resto also located in BGC.
Would recommend the Salmon Belly Donburi!

I’m pretty much happy with their Katsudon. Anyway, Japanese restos will barely get this dish wrong. Ramen, I would understand. Just don’t eat the Ko-Ebi Ten and the like unless you are willing to end up with a lot of fried flour as part of your meal. Dessert is so-so
Very attentive staff. Even the manager will approach you to check on their service.
I like how their entrance was designed. The door curtain (whatever it’s called) could be a nuisance if you’re in a foul mood. But at the most, it’s pretty interesting.

One of my favorite places to get a quick Japanese fix! They have various choices of noodles from their Soba and to their Udon. Either hot or cold. They also have rice bowls from their Oyakodon to their Tendon. I love how they make sets if you can't choose to eat between rice or noodles. What I love about this place is the service, ambiance and most importantly food. They give you service tea. Cold only though and they are very approachable. The food is great here and most importantly it's worth its price. I think all dishes are less than 500 php? My family and I are here and we just spent 600 plus including of VAT and service charge. The whole menu is very simple which I love. It doesn't give you a hard time choosing. I recommend eating here if you crave Japanese food and are in a tight budget.
Nadai Fujisoba's foray into Japanese fare is a reminder that the cuisine goes far beyond sushi. Handmade noodles is the name of the game here and after eating their signature dishes, you'll truly notice the difference between eating regular and handmade udon/soba. The noodles are springy, chewy, and meld together beautifully with whichever flavors they're mixed with. We ordered the Curry Udon, Curry Don, Ten Mori Tempura Platter, Ebi Tendon, Aka Fuji Soba.
Every single one of the soups was delicious with a very delicate flavor. I have to admit the Aka Fuji Soba was my favorite as there was the great flavor of soup, the perfectly chewy soba, and the savoury strips of beef. The combination of wakame, nori, and soft boiled egg was comfort food at its best.
The tempura platter (Ten Mori) was delicately and gracefully prepared with precision, and the entire experience was very memorable. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed how deep frying accentuated the freshness of the ingredients. This dish filled up any remaining empty space in the tummy. The meal was finished with a scoop of premium green tea ice cream and a cup of hot Hojicha. Both were enjoyable.
Overall, this was a wonderful experience, and a worthy addition to the Bonifacio Global City dining scene.
Nadai Fujisoba is one of my favorite Japanese food franchise for their quality and price. Their simple menu of donburi and noodles just reminds me how Japanese eat.
This time around I visited their SM Aura branch. Similar to their other branch with uniform interiors to all their branches from SM North, Megamall, and BGC Highstreet.
I tried their Curry Udon and Ten-Mori. The curry in their udon is nice, rich, potato based curry. It perfectly matches the thick udon noodles. It's meaty, flavorful but not the usual pungent curry.
The Ten Mori is basically a tempura that consists of a Prawn, Squid, Chikuwa (grilled fish cake), Vegetables, & Gari (pickled ginger). Everything was fresh, crispy, and cooked perfectly. What stands out in this dish is the Yasai Itame (vegetables). The usual is a flat, fried vegetable fritter. What they did was cooked in a shape of a cup. The small shrimps added a subtle, seafood-y briny flavor that leveled it up.
Their consistency and authenticity of flavor that made it one of my favorite Japanese restaurant.

Located at the Lower Ground Floor of SM Aura Premier, Nadai Fujisoba is a breath of fresh air. With restaurants opening here and there, it's hard to find the edge of one from the other. Nadai Fujisoba offers a wide range of hot and cold noodle dishes with their premium high quality udon and soba. An in-house Japanese chef make sure that the food to be served is with world-class quality and nothing but the best.
I tried the Yasai Kakiage Ten Tama which is a hot noodle soup topped with Onion, Carrot, Burdock root and Trefoil made into a tempura. Hiyashi Niku Fuji Soba is a revelation. It's my first time to try a cold noodle dish and I fell in love with it. This dish is made of seasoned dashi broth, soba noodles, and marinated shaved meat- usually beef.
From the rice bowls menu, my favorite was Buta Bara Kimuchi Don which is a thin slice of pork belly perfectly paired with kimchi. Gyudon comes next on my list. I also tried their Tempura plate called Ten Mori which composed of Ebi Ten, Ika Ten, Chikuwa Ten Yasai Kakiage, Beni Shoga Kakiage and Oba Ten. I like the crispiness and it's not oily at all compared to other restaurants which offer tempura.
My foodie experience will not be complete without trying their delectable desserts. Kuro Goma or Black Sesame Ice Cream is for me a must try! Sea Salt Caramel Ice Cream made a strong impression too!
Over all I would like to rate this place 4 stars.

Great service and good deals! The place seems a bit cramped, though.
While it isn't authentic Japanese cuisine, it's a huge step up from the usual fast food Japanese places. It's perfect for a casual lunch or dinner. With affordable and well-portioned sets, they make for a nice meal around BGC when craving for Japanese.
They serve big and crunchy tempura, perfectly fried to crunch into while enjoying the tender and flavorful shrimp inside. Their cold and hot tea tasted good on its own, a nice refresher from the indulgent meal. I do wish it were complimentary rather than adding 30 PHP for hot tea, though.
I had the kake soba, which was plain ramen, I think? The soup was hot and refreshing (as I had a sore throat), while the noodles were still a bit undercooked, being too chewy and tough.
I liked the Buta Bara Kimuchidon, but I have some comments: I like the quality of rice, but what I didn't like was how the kimchi was too sour, while the beef was 90% fat. There was also a lot of oily sauce underneath the meat, topped on the rice. Nakakaumay (as I don't know the English word for it).
But I still enjoyed my dinner with family. They had quick and friendly service and a bright atmosphere. While it isn't the best restaurant to go when looking for legit Japanese cuisine, they offer delicious dishes I may come back for soon!
Our cravings for Japanese food brought me and my friends here at Nadai Fujisoba. It was actually my first time to try out soba and udon (because I'm a ramen type of person). Personally, i loved everything I've eaten :) or maybe bacause it's my first ever cold noodle experience so I cannot make a comparison for now.
Also, I was happy that they have this Teisyoku set. It is a combination of Donburi bowl and a choice of Kake/mori soba or udon.
Their donburi bowls tastes good but quite bitin for me hehe.
Customer service was great. Their manager introduced their menu briefly and taught us how to eat soba and udon the proper way :)
Definitely, i'll come back here soon to try their other dishes :)

Definitely must try, ambiance is great, food is great tried the beef hot soba(forgot the name 😂) It's their best seller, Katsudon is very tender, cold soba a must try(something unique and very tasty)
I really wanted to try this place because they serve Cold Sobas, (I adore cold soba, especially buckwheat) and they caught my eye.
After having their Soba, it wasn't that great as anticipated. But their rice bowls are impeccable. 👌🏻
Not fan of their sobas and udons though. I don't know, maybe because the taste was different or maybe because I was expecting something different.
I love Nadai Fujisoba so much. Service is very efficient and quick. Our order has been served after 5 minutes. The food tastes so good that it feels like you're in Japan. We ordered 2 Katsudon and 1 Gyudon. It is my first time to eat gyudon but it never fail my taste buds.. I will definitely recommend this to my friends and relatives. I will absolutely get back to try other menu.
Definitely met my expectations, the place offers soba and udon mostly. It feels like going to Japan, with the vibe and all. (Though soup broth was kinda salty? As my experience)
Planning to dine in Ramen Nagi but ended up here since this is near the parking and we are really hungry. Although I had doubt at first, I was not disappointed after I tasted their spicy Aka Fuji Soba! very good, firm noodles, mouthwatering beef strips..but it is not as spicy as the dishname says.. Overall, very good food, ambience and service.
The plan was to scout Uptown but Mother Nature got in the way. The next thing I knew, it was raining bears and hyenas.
I decided to wait it out in Aura. Dinner is in order. There are a couple of restaurants i haven't tried in Aura, one of which is Nadai Fujisoba. The place is empty when i came in. The lack of customers got me a lil skeptical.
Skepticism aside. Their interior is the shiz! It felt like i stepped inside a Japanese House in Feudal Japan. This reminds me of Ken Watanabe's house in The Last Samurai. I specifically liked the wall art and the mural of sorts. Colorful and reeks of Japanese culture. And the curtains are pretty nifty too.
I'm not sophisticated enough to appreciate cold soba hence i focused on their rice meals. I picked Katsudon and green tea ice cream for dessert.
| Katsudon (php 190). This bowl is filled with katsudon goodness. The pork is cooked perfectly and the pork is tender. Apart from the meat, the rice is cooked right and the seasoning is spot on. Good deal at 190!
| Green Tea Ice Cream (php 100). This one is a keeper. Creamy, oozing with green tea goodness. I can eat this by the tub.
I liked my impromptu visit at Nadai. I am coming back to try the other rice bowls.
Got the Teisyoku set since it provided good value for money. I chose the Buta Bara Kimuchidon (pork rice topping with kimchi) together with Mori Soba (cold noodles) for only Php250. The pork rice topping was really tasty and flavorful. It reminded me of a certain home-cooked Filipino pork dish. The pork was very thinly sliced, but unfortunately, the cuts were very fatty. The cold noodles were also perfectly cooked.
Great when you’re in the mood for Japanese and on a budget.
We wanted japanese food and luckily, we passed by this restaurant. We were so hungry so we ordered rice bowls instead of noodles. Both the gyudon and katsudon tasted delicious. The ebi tempura was okay. The serving is hefty, considering its price. Will definitely go back for their udon and soba.
One of the better and affordable Japanese restaurants around. Food is delicious and more than enough for one person. Ambiance feels like you're in Japan. Service is good enough. A nice restaurant to eat at for people who like udon and soba.

Food here has improved from the last time i visited. The soup base of the soba is more flavourful, and the noodles were more firm.
I also liked the katsudon. The pork was savoury, seeet, and tender.
I wouldve given them a four but the manager and staff were a little snooty. Everything they did was heavy handed, and nobody was smiling. The manager was on his phone the whole time, and all he did was shout orders to the staff. There just wasnt a nice vibe and i was if-fy about asking for anything.
Food was good though. Hoping for better service next time.
Another japanese resto that invaded the metro.but it was different from the others. Me and hubby was not looking for this resto but it happened that it was looking for us. We ate at their SM Aura branch and welcomed us by their friendly staffs. Hubby ordered the curry rice which was good but the downside was that there was no meat, or the meat was super crushed with the sauce. Since I was in the middle choosing noodles or rice, I thank this restaurant because they have their "Teisyoku Set". I ordered the tiny gyudon with rice together with Kake Soba. Other food choices in the set, you can see at their menu.
Overall, their food was awesome. You can't imagine that their food was also affordable, because of its taste, but yes it was indeed affordable and I recommend this to everyone especially who loves rice + noodles.
A quick break in between grocery shopping and running errands. I went to this place for a hot soup for my aching tummy. I ordered Ramen with Tempura and 3 kinds of Kakiage. They're all tasty., and portion are really big. Food: 4 Place: 3 Price: 3.
I found myself as a super regular to this restaurant whenever I am at aura. There is nothing super special about their food BUT, their execution in how they emulate japanese food in japan is super spot on. This goes with the service speed, quality, price, and volume. It really reminds me of japan.
Arrived a bit early for dinner, not many people eating.
Staff were fast, friendly and efficient.
Great price for san miguel beer.
We had the oyakodon, arrived fast, and was fresh and hot.

Good meal for a great price, will try the one on BGC high street next
Was craving for noodle soup on our date night. It was a choice between tried and tested yummy but P500 expensive soup of Ikkuryo Fukuoda Ramen and P280 Dashi soup of Nadai Fujisoba on Bonifacio High Street. We chose the most occupied restaurant. Ikkuryo was empty. It was our 1st time there, the staff were courteous and attentive. Price points were not cheap but affordable. I ordered the curry soba. Yum! I suspect it was 200g fresh noodle serving size. Soup was not enough though. My wife ordered the ebi tempura udon. She loved it too. Would definitely come back and a must try. Good ambiance.
Good food. Good value. Good service. I ordered the ebi tendon set with kake soba. The batter of the tempura was ok but the prawn itself was very tasty. It was a good pair for the soba which had a strong umami flavor. We will definitely go back since my wife enjoyed eating here.
we chanced upon this resto at sm aura. as a japanese food lover, i was waiting for this type of restaurant in manila. servers were quick, food was served after a short wait. my wife got the niku tsuke soba and i got the same but with udon. our son tried ebiten soba. food was good, price is affordable, we will definitely visit again!
Last weekend, I finally got around to trying the Nadai Fujisoba branch in SM Aura with my family. I honestly enjoy ramen more than udon or soba, but still jumped at the opportunity to try this restaurant out since I had heard good things about it.
Design-wise, the outer appearance of the restaurant is quite eye-drawing with a very traditional and clean exterior. Its entrance uses a mix of traditional Japanese fabric dividers plus blindingly red and white light signage - definitely meant to catch some attention. The interior is surprisingly compact though, looking that it can seat about 50-55 people at most. It can feel a bit tight and crowded though, especially if you're not seated at the couches.
Service-wise, the staff were all quite friendly and efficient throughout our meal. They were very knowledgeable about the menu and came right away when being called despite it being dinner rush. I think one of the restaurant owners was there and he was very nice in answering all my mothers' random questions about the art on the walls.
Food-wise, we all opted to get the P250 Teisyoku Set. It is a choice between a small bowl of Donburi Rice Bowls (curry/beef/pork) that can be paired with either an udon/soba dish that is either hot(kake)/cold(mori). I noted that the menu said VAT is INCLUSIVE but dishes are subject to 10% Service Charge.
The Donburi Rice Bowls were quite small, but I was glad they were because the soba/udon servings were quite generous. Two of us had gotten the Buta or Pork Donburi, which came with kimchi mixed in as well. The pork was a little fatty and quite spicy but I enjoyed it very much. Two of us had gotten the Gyudon or Beef Donburi, which was apparently a little stringy and chewy but tasty nonetheless.
The Kake soba/udon came in large bowls with steaming hot broth, while the Mori soba/udon were served cold in large platters with a dipping sauce. I mixed in some sesame oil, which really enhanced the flavor of my generous serving of Kake udon. In the end, we were all very satsified with our orders - especially with them costing about P275 each.
Over-all, I am giving this establishment a 4.0 for the entire experience. The service was great, the food was tasty and the udon/soba was generous, the value for money was good - with most regular orders ranging from P180-280. I look forward to dining at Nadai again and would have given this branch a 4.5 if not for my story below.

NOTE/SIDE-STORY: While waiting for a table, make sure that your name is DEFINITELY written on the wait-list. It was because the waitress had forgotten to put ours (choosing to mentally note it instead) that I nearly picked a fight with the manager.
This happened when I was waiting for a table with one of my sisters while the rest of my family explored the mall. We were next in line and were told by the waitress that our table was just being cleaned. A while later, a male manager stepped out, checked the wait-list with the female waitress and then called out the name of the family that had arrived AFTER us and let them in.
At this point, we had been waiting twenty minutes since arriving, and that other group had been there all but one-hundred-twenty seconds. Adding in the fact that we were all hungry - who in their right mind would NOT get annoyed at this?
I immediately called this to the attention of the waitress, who was as equally surprised as us. She then quickly explained to the manager that we were the ones next, not the group he had just let in. What pissed me off a bit was the fact that he did not seem to want to acknowledge his mistake - even going so far as to asking us when we had arrived as well as asking the waitress why she had not put our name down. WITHOUT APOLOGIZING, he disappeared inside. I vented a bit to the waitress (not to blame her though) and she politely said sorry and that they were going to find an immediate solution.
Within two minutes, the rest of my family returned just in time for the staff to put together another table for us. Since I just wanted us to have a good dinner, I let the entire issue go - even when (ironically enough) the manager ended up being our server.

Love the Japanese look and feel of this place, creative and unique. Not to mention their food is delicious and value for money! Good service as well. Two thumbs up!
Pretty Good. I've been waiting for a Soba joint here that does not serve the packaged dried soba noodles that I can buy in any supermarket. At least these guys make their own noodles. The noodles, if you're a Soba nut, are very good. Easy to tell they are homemade due to the texture and taste. Best to appreciate cold as hot soup will change their chewy and malinamnam texture and taste. The tsuyu (dipping sauce) is also good.
In short, If you like Soba, this is the only place in town that won't serve you packaged noodles and bottled sauce and charge you P200 for it, which you can make yourself at home for less than P50.
This is pretty authentic, but the biggest fault is that it is not artisenal like the Soba is in Japan.
There should be a display where the noodle maker can be seen making noodles, which is a joy to watch. Udon? Tempura? Niku? Tonkatsu? This place is a Soba-ya, they should stick to Soba. There are Udon, Tempura, Nikudon and Tonkatsu places all over town, just stick to Soba and make it well.
My only complaint is that. Too many menu items that make it look like an Izakaya. It should just be Soba and Kakiage, that's it. Go to the Mochi-ya or Tonkatsu-ya if you want those things, and go to a Soba-ya if you want Soba.
I also did not like that they don't serve extra noodles to help me finish my soup or sauce. Any noodle establishment worth it's salt in Japan, give extra noodles for a small surcharge. Why can't we do that here?
I like that they serve the Buckwheat water (Sobayu). The water where the Soba noodles where cooked in, that is so healthy and authentic.
Just get rid of the non-Soba items except Udon and Kakiage, I will go more often. It kinda irritates me that I cannot get a seat and I see people inside eating Katsudon and Nikudon. They should go to Yabu or Yoshinoya and leave the Soba-ya for us Soba lovers.
Thanks.
The service is quick and very friendly.
The ambiance feels like you're really in a restaurant in Japan. They have this "katcha" curtain on the doorway and you get to pass through this and all staff will greet you very lively. It made me feel like I'm back in Japan! Food is great because they have options for people who don't eat pork or beef. We got the Okura Tororo Soba and the Horensou Soba. It has a light taste but flavorful and the noodles are not soggy. They say their noodles are also "healthy" because its made of buckwheat and made fresh daily.
