Two years ago, I went to Bad Bird @ Hole in the Wall Food Hall and I remembered that they served extra flavorful chicken; so I’m excited to taste it again! First thing I noticed with Bad Bird Serendra, aside from its interior, was the set menu items and the generous serving. We decided to try their on-going weekday platter promo where you can choose a set good for 2 to 3 pax for only P599. We had: Umami Chicken with Pork Belly and Mustard BBQ Sauce, Four Cheese Pasta, Eggplant Agedashi with Bonito Flakes, served with one dark chocolate cheesecake bar (Additional PhP100).
From the set, my favorite was the four-cheese pasta! I can definitely taste that it was perfectly whisked in milk & heavy cream. We liked the umami fried chicken; it was still juicy inside and there’s no need to add gravy sauce to enjoy the meal. We were impressed with the consistent quality of food in Bad Bird! We will definitely go back to try new dishes!
I'm glad they have multiple branches now other than the one at Century Mall. For me, this chain serves one of the best fried chicken in the metro. They win not just in the battle of who has the crispiest skin but also in who has the tastiest meat. Not just tasty but also juicy and tender. Their fried chicken is called Umami for a good reason. On top of this, they also have excellent sides to match their chicken. We got ourselves salad, torched corn and cheese and lastly the cheese noodles. Although the corn and cheese tasted a little burnt, the salad dressing and noodles were on point. I hope they can keep their quality consistent now that they are expanding to more and more locations.
The last time we ate here was when they first opened. Now, on our second visit, we used Zomato Gold and it was super sulit! We ordered two sets of fried chicken, one with ceasar salad and one with the torched corn (this is so good!)
The avocado ice cream is a must try!!! ☺☺☺

It's definitely bad to your diet! The chicken is addicting. Love how juicy and flavorful it was. For the steak, meat was tender but I think they had a little extra on the salt. Not that super bad, but surely needs to tone down a little. The corn puree by the way was a good idea. Did appreciate it.

Umami chicken! For a value of 275php in BGC, anlaki ng chicken, masarap, malasa. Yung wings nila, yung black honey hindi masyado masarap. Yung mga fried chicken masarap. Also fell in love sa buttered corn nila. Pwedeng balik balikan. Hindi nakakasawa.
First time here and I’m happy with my order. The chicken is huge and well-spoced but I find a bit too salty. The service is fast but the ventilation could be improved.

It was really good! Was a bit worried that the spicy chicken would be too spicy but it was just right. The corn is tasty when still fresh and hot, but leaves an aftertaste after awhile. Sweet potato was yummy :)

They've got huge servings for this sharing-platter at Php599, with choice of Mustard or Black Pepper sauce. You can't go wrong with their Mustard sauce.

1. I've been curious how their black pepper sauce tastes like, so I asked their service attendant to serve it as an add-on (Php15). And my verdict: Well, Bad Bird should ditch this Black Pepper sauce. Sorry to say, it doesn't go well with any dish on the plate, or should I say the meat are already too savory to be paired with another savory sauce. If it does well with other diners, please pardon my taste buds.
2. I just thought a horse radish sauce may play a great role with their umami chicken/meat, if they can add it with their sauce options.

Dirty rice - the upgrade for dirty rice was like 80+ i think, it wasn't bad but me and my boyfriend think it's not worth the upgrade, it was nothing special. It was just rice with some soy sauce topped with egg
Butter corn - OMG this one, I am biased since I love corn and i love cheese, so I really liked this one BUT it wasn't served hot which got me disappointed
Gravy - it was good - can't complain
Overall, bad bird was worth a try. Service can be better. And food can be served hotter 😆
It was my 1st time in Bad Bird (Serendra branch). The staffs were very accommodating and attentive. I have ordered Torched Corn & Cheese Chicken Plate as recommended by a friend. Then, you have to choose the spicy level and I have chose "Spicy" because I love spicy food. When my order arrived, I was shocked because the chicken was sooooo big and looks crunchy with its golden brown texture. Also, the Torched Corn & Cheese was so enticing.
First impressions last. I wasn't wrong, it was so delicious and perfect. Will be back definitely!

Used our zomato gold on a saturday afternoon at Serendra. I really loved the torched corn but the serving is really small. :( Bitin :( the chicken is big and tastes good. We also ordered the 4 cheese pasta. Really really loved the flavors and the texture of the noodles. They cook their own noodles btw!!

Tried this promo platter (good for 2) that I think served as a sampler platter because we got to try both the famous fried chicken and grilled chicken plus grilled liempo and macaroni salad. Fried chicken is of course, worth 5-stars though the grilled one is very tasty, too. The platter comes with a free sauce, you can choose among black pepper, hot steak and mustard. Luckily we’re six, so we decided we’ll try each of them for our 3 orders. Black pepper sauce is the best for us. Macaroni salad is delicious too, my friend really liked it, said “hindi sya nakakaumay”.
Restaurant look is nice, good interiors. The only thing I didn’t like is the smoke or the smell inside the restaurant. Feels like we were also in the kitchen. The whole time we were dining, it smelled like what they’re cooking or grilling is about to burn, and that smell was absorbed by our clothes and hair which I really hate happening.

Dining experience breakdown:
Service (5/5): It was close to lunch time and people were starting to fill the place. Still, the servers were quick on their feet. All of our needs/requests were accomodated in a proper and timely manner.
Food (3/5): In terms of serving size or portions, I'd say they serve plenty. The Gochujang Buffalo Wings were really good. We also ordered their Pork and Cheese Noodles. They're definitely both good in terms of flavor but between the two, I personally like the Cheese variant better. One concern I have though is the texture and feel of the pasta. I think it missed the mark getting cooked al dente since it was lot closer to being half-cooked only. Completing our order was the Power Steak which was pretty average for a carnivorous guy like me. This is just my opinion but I don't think the corn purée is a good compliment with the meat. It has a very strong and distinct taste and it's overpowering the meat. You can really taste the purée from every single slice of meat considering it only touched the surface of the purée since the meat was put on top of it. So in that regard, I think you lose in not being able to taste the whole essence of the meat.
Value for money (4.5/5): I think it's a bit pricey but everything else considered, the price is justified.
Good food, good service. Portions of the sides were small for the price though.

I’ve been here a couple of times already, and the food has always been consistent, the same with their staff, who are always courteous and accommodating. So last Wednesday, August 21, we went to have lunch here, and whenever I eat at Bad Bird I try to eat something new in their menu, so this time I ordered the Grilled Chicken Burger with Chips, and their Kimchi Noodles, my friend had their Power Steak and steamed rice, which we’ve already tried in their Megamall branch. For our drinks we just ordered the usual, a Coke for my friend and the Bayani Lemongrass for me. Our order was served within 10-15 minutes. The burger was delicious and juicy, you can see the juice trickling down when you bite it. The sweet potato chips is also perfect for the burger, plus the dip they provided for it was delicious. I don’t know what that is though. The Power Steak that my friend had was cooked perfectly, it was soft, juicy, and tasty, I also think the one served here in Serendra is bigger than the one in Megamall, anyway, its taste was consistent. The Kimchi Noodles was also delicious, it has just the right spiciness to it, and I really like the noodles they use, which they say they made in-house. The four cheese noodles was also good, we had it before. The other dishes that we’ve tried here before are of course the Umami Fried Chicken, Hush Puppies (a favourite), Chicken Nuggets with Mustard Honey sauce, Mango Tuna Salad with Sweet Potato Chips, Salmon Mac and Cheese, Applewood Bacon Salad, and their Chocolate Sundae. All of these dishes are superb, has good quality, and highly recommended. That being said, dining at Bad Bird is always a good experience, so needless to say I’ll keep coming back.
Food is so good and reasonably priced, plus they added more to their menu from the last time i ate here, but I hope you guys fix the AC. It was just way too warm inside.

Staff is friendly and quick to respond. Food is a bit pricey but the serving size and quality of the chicken is worth it. The 4-cheese noodles were deliciously tasty and go well with fried chicken, but the pork noodles need a lot of improvement especially on the flavor. Getting free steamed rice for every 300-peso per head charge is also a good bonus, and is hard to miss given the menu's range of prices.
As a spicy lover, this place doesn't disappoint, their chicken is also big, really worth the price! We also tried the chicken wings menu with choices of 4 flavors, they are also good!

We had Umami Fried Chix with dirty rice and Yakiniku-cut US Short Rib for dinner. Taste was good, skin was extra crispy and flavorful, but nothing extraordinary for the laman. I love the hot steak sauce, though. Staff was nice and attentive.
Price was a bit high lang for a 2-pc chix meal, but thanks to Zomato Gold we really saved a lot. 👍
5 stars for the Mango Rice Milk! It sounds so sinful but damn it reminds me of my childhood snacks - comcination of suman, latik, and ripe mango. So refreshing drink. Will go back for this!❤
4 stars for Sesame Ceasar Salad & Torched Cream Cheese! Chicken was spicy and tolerable - perfect with the burnt Cream Cheese! I just wish there were more Ceasar Salad 🤣
4 stars for Yakiniku-cut US Short Rib. Meat was tender and juicy. The sauce and egg floss were excellent. Injust had a hard time tasting the caramelized pineapple but overall it was a nice dish.

The food we ordered are; Sesame Caesar Salad, Sweet Potato Chips with Citrus Mayo, Chicken Wings - Garlic and Butter flavour, and Power Steak and Gravy. The food taste salty because they sprinkle salt in the dish (chips and steak). But the saltiness of the chips blended to the sweetness of the potato, the saltiness of the steak blended to the juice of the steak and the meaty taste of the gravy. Overall Experience, it's all worth it. We will definitely go back

Who doesn't love chicken???? Well Bad Bird is a place where you will find good chicken flavors and sides! Buttered corn is so good!!! The place is a rustic style yet cozy in feels.
The food is really great and delicious. However I did not rate it 5 stars because I want them to have a room for improvement in housekeeping/kitchen cleanliness. There were small cockroaches roaming when we dine during lunch.
Ayos dito mabait mga staff, masarap ang mga pagkain at abot kaya. The best yung kimchi rice. Sa soban kasi walang lasa. Dito malasa. Palagi ako andito kumakain. Minsan mainit lang talaga. sana lang yung nag upgrade kami ng food para sa 1+1 zomato, sana sinabi nila na hindi na counted yung additional kasi ininform naman namin sila na yun ung gusto namin i1+1.

We tried Spicy Crispy Bulgogi with Eggplant and Yakiniku-cut US Short Rib (Thanks Zomato Gold, btw).
As a fan of spicy food, the bulgogi was really suitable for my tastebuds. The texture & crispiness was on point. The caramelized pineapple and the pickles complemented the meat so much; it also refreshed our palate. Also, the short rib was superb! The meat was so tender, and the hot steak sauce enhanced it. And by the way, their plates has a large serving. Sulit!
The interior is very nice, it wasn't loud because there weren't a lot of people when we ate here. The staff are very attentive and accomodating (kudos!). Will definitely come back here again.
Their umami fried chicken is definitely one for the books. The spicy level is just enough for spicy lovers. If you're like my boyfriend who really has a high tolerance to pungent flavours, you may go for chemical. I also swapped my dirty rice to kimchi bacon rice, and this match really compenented the umami fried chicken.
Staff in Serendra branch are great, too. They attended to us enthusiastically.
The interior was cozy however I think the place was kinda small. Definitely a restaurant that I would come back to. 😊

Had the Torched Corn & Cream Cheese and Rich Pork Noodles, which were both great. The cream cheese mixed in with the corn adds a creamy texture that blended well with the corn while the pork noodles had the right amount of sauce and just enough pork to make it interesting. But the star of the show, the Umami Fried Chicken, is why you go here. The problem you often find with fried chicken in restaurants is how dry it might be, but not here as the chicken, while being perfectly spiced and seasoned, was insanely juicy. Found myself tryna bite more off the bone. It was that good.

We ordered the 4-pc Chicken Sharing Platter and the 4-cheese Noodles! We got the chicken “spicy” which was just the right kick of spiciness that I like. The noodles was chewy as well. We were three people who shared and we were full and we had some for takeout too! The service was also good, they were very accommodating. The food was served faster than what I expected. For me, it was worth it!
Consistent quality of food. Their salmon mac and cheese was just okay. Their chicken menu is their best on the list. Good thing they have set menus for 2 or 4 people with a reasonable price.
This was one of those trips that was unplanned, and I remember being particularly wary because the place felt like it charged way too much for food that was way too easy to make and way too common to be memorable.
I was pleasantly surprised because every bite was a gut punch of flavor. Anything chicken was good. The fries were greasy but nothing good isn’t. I enjoyed that the food didnt want to be ordinary, but it made sure not to over-try either.
