The best bubble tea in town. Like how the flavor is so balanced, it's not very sweet or a strong Tea flavor. Love the creamy tea. Brown sugar bobba with pearl cream mousse is my favourite. A must try.
Tiger Sugar was a big hit when it opened its first store in Bonifacio High Street back in 2018. Its hour-long lines didn't discourage locals and patiently waited just to get hold of its popular brown sugar milk drinks. And just when we thought its hype was dying down, it released something perfect to beat the Manila heat.
Finally got to try this milk tea brand. I had always been unable to because of the long lines. I tried the Brown Sugar Boba Milk with Cream Mousse. It's good. I wonder though if sugar levels could be adjusted as I was unable to ask while i was there.

Not a fan of milktea. You can even say, I hate them and don't understand people's fascination with this drink. When I'm invited to visit a milktea place, I always get something chocolatey and just have a sip of the milktea they order and see if I like it. But everytime, I'm like, NO. I like my tea hot and flavoured with chamomile. So this is a change from the milo stuff I order from other shops. I love their boba with cream mousse and doesn't hurt that it's aesthetically pleasing 👌👌👌
For a couple who love milktea (so bad!!😅), this one is just great to satisfy our love for the drink. We tried their bestsellers, brown sugar boba milk tea (i forgot the other one but its taste is just the same) followed their instruction to shake it 15 times (after taking a pic of course) and it was hella great! Perfect for the heat. What I just don’t like about it was the long queue but yep it’s definitely thirst- quenching. 😊 Look at my handsome model right here! 😍 lol
Probably the yummiest milktea in Manila! You can beat the queue if you're patient enough to wait until 9.30pm to get your favorite milktea. We had the Brown Sugar Boba +Pearl with milk. Yummy! Even the pearls are lighter and softer.

I was so curious why people would usually line up in que just to order a milk tea here. So my friends and I ordered one for ourselves just to try it and I have to say it was worth the wait and long line. I love the taste of the combination of milk, tea, cream, sugar and pearl.
Line is crazy!!!!! I waited for 2 hours just to get my drink. Like what I say to people, if you’ll for 2 hours, just like what I did- no it’s not worth it. Nothing special in it, I guess. But if I’ll wait less than that- yes it’s def worth it. I most certainly love the pearls btw!
The long wait and line is over. I already tasted the super boom - - Brown Sugar Pearl Milk with Cream Mousse and it was okay. Not too sweet. Brown Sugar is not over powering.
Tiger sugar, we meet at least. Found a day with short lane so I said this is my chance. Went with the mousse peals (the tastiest as per the cashier). The brand colours, name, location, marketing, business plan- Everything feels Brilliant. Absolutely perfect.
About the milk tea? Not better then the competitors. Happy lemon, serenity, bubaism, ect... pretty
My first time in Tiger Sugar, I’ve tried their best seller Brown Sugar Boba + Pearl with Milk. At first I thought it will just taste milk so I didn’t expect that much, but it exceeded my expectations. It was delicious. ♥️ I rated 4/5 due to long queue.
This is one of the shortest and quickest lines for milk tea. I came with friends after lunch. Tried their signature drink, Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea. It was not as sweet as others, it is also more molass-y which I personally like.
I’m not an expert when it comes to milk tea and I don’t get the craze for brown sugar yet I just have to try them for myself. Tiger Sugar is by far the best I tried compared to Serenitea and Yi Fang’s brown sugar option. I only got to try Brown Sugar Pearl Milk, which I was initially very skeptical of because it doesn’t even have tea but that’s the only available drink when we ordered through LalaFood at that time. Unexpectedly, the drink turned out to be really good. Cause even without the bitter taste of tea which I like, their brown sugar has a roasted, bitter note as aftertaste and that’s a very nice treat which I didn’t get from Serenitea and Yi Fang. I also like their pearls. That’s a big thumbs up for Tiger Sugar! 👍🏻
My officemates went to their bgc branch on maundy thursday thinking that there will be no long queue since it was holiday. I didn't know what to order so I asked how much is the bestseller and paid for it. After more than an hour, thry handed me a 500ml milk tea. I shook it few times since pearls were at the bottom. These pearls are the game changer- the right amount of softness,so comforting to chew. Brown sugar blended well to the milk. I said 500ml for 120 php, good but I won't probably buy again. 😂😂😂 (see my next review)

Re writing my review again. Hahaha. Anyway, i really love this milk tea shop too! Tiger sugar is different from the rest because of its “milky” nature and I really love it plus the pearls they used. Although, tasting the one in Taiwan is also different, i don’t know why maybe they use a different milk but both / branches are good. Still the bomb!
One of the best milk tea’s in town. Love the milky taste and pearls! Got addicted to it as soon as I tasted it. I recommended it with my officemates the following day so we all got the Tiger Sugar madness. Imagine, we had 10 orders of Brown Sugar Milk Tea delivered to the office!
Super taas ng hype neto months ago. There are people I know na sinasabi sakin na di siya worth it. Pero tinry ko pa din to line up and taste their milktea. Super haba ng line talaga haha. Siguro mga 30mins? Di ko actually alam ano oorderin ko. So ginaya ko na lang yung order nung nasa harap ko haha!

Always long line everyday but the service is fast.we tried their best seller and it's a good one. Very smooth milky. Pearls are good too. Will come back again
Me and my boyfriend tried their milktea last Christmas and we really loved it! The rich milky flavor is there and I love their cute not-so-big pearls. The only con is the long lines just to get their milk tea. It’s a must try for someone who loves milktea!
I live in BGC so I managed to catch Tiger Sugar without a line for once! They ran out of boba/pearls so I got a plain Brown Sugar Milk Tea. Apparently this version has more milk, so may additional +20 pesos pa. Haha anyway I didn't really mind because I don't like boba/pearls and I figured the extra 20 pesos was worth not waiting 2 hrs in line.
The milk tea was creamy and just the right amount of sweet (as expected) though I can see how it could still be elevated. It's definitely better than some of the other local brands but I don't think it deserves all of the hype. Also, kudos to the staff for being so friendly and nice despite most likely having a very long day in that small enclosed space in this summer heat!
We decided to join the queue as one of our friend will departing from Manila soon and this is his last chance to try the IN brown sugar bubble tea.

Oh my... I don’t know what to say whether it’s worth it to queue or not. If you live around BGC perhaps you can wait until it’s not that trending anymore.

I must admit it that they served the BEST BROWN SUGAR BUBBLE TEA so far. I really love it!!! But also to be honest all their brown sugar menu taste the same. Me, my husband and my friend ordered 3 different brown sugar drinks and we say they all taste the same. Still delicious though. Haha..

Took an hour at the queue, which was expected. To be fair, the mix of brown sugar, pearl, and cream had the right amount of sweetness and distinctive flavor. Will only try this out again once the hype has already died down.

Suprisingly good! I've read alot of reviews about this being over "hyped" because of the constant long lines everyday. But for me long lines most of the time pays off. Lol. I was expecting it to be too sweet because of the brown sugar and turns out the sugar cuts perfecly in with the milktea with mousse! Being a fan of the taste of brown sugar in drinks I think makes me a bit bias. 😂 I loved it! And yeah the pearls were really something, there were small and big pearls in the mix 💖 The downside of it would be is that they only had one size. Ofcourse, I would buy the large one if they had 🤣 To more long lines for this! 💛 by the way, this was the "Brown Sugar Milktea Boba with Cream Mousse" (PHP120).
The store with the usual crazy blockbuster line at BHS! Tried this very one time to endure an hour placing the order plus another half hour to claim it! The hype was not really over rated tho. Their original milk tea plus those chewy pearls were really good. Despite all those brown sugar, it is still not too sweet. I like the creamy taste and this is still affordable for just 120php. The line is really unbearable tho so I hope they open more branches.
Ordered Brown Sugar Boba Milk in Tsim Sha Tsui, HK. This is surprisingly good! I prefer to have my milk tea with stronger taste of the tea over the milk but this is an exception. This is a creamier version of my usual milk teas but I didn’t get tired of its taste. It’s like caramelized milk tea. The pearls were cooked just right, chewy and crunchy. Sweetness isn’t overpowering. I will definitely go back when the queue isn’t that long :)
Hands down! This is the best milk tea I have tried so far. I guess it’s a chinese brand? (Correct me if wrong hehe) and it’s unique because they have that attractive swirls of brown sugar on their drinks which is so aesthetic.
I ordered their boba milk tea with cream mousse which is their best seller. I swear i’m not joking when I say it’s one of the bests. I could have given it a 5 star but their one flaw is the waiting time. I waited an hour just to order, it could be better if they can just give numbers for those who wait.

I've been longing to try Tiger Sugar because of good reviews, but since BCG is 16 km. away from my place it will really make me think twice? No more than thrice I guess!
The long weekend allowed me to visit BGC on a Sunday. No traffic! But when I saw Tiger Sugar's long queue was more than 15 meters long, I nearly lost hope. I came back at around 8pm and it was 12 meters long, but we succeeded. I had 2 Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea with Cream Mousse for Php120.00 each.
And since I'm not aware of the "it's recommended to shake atleast 15 times before drinking" I sipped the sugar and the boba due to too much excitement and anticipation because of the long queue, but still enjoyed it though.😂
We were so curious of the long line. I was actually shocked to convince my fiance to fall in line for almost an hour and a half for this. Finally when we get our drink, we know now why. its all worth it, that we bought 4 even though its just for the 2 of us. thats how good it is. This has been open for only a few months yet, it instantly got a following. Not sure why. Is it because of all the hype? Or is the tea really good? Time to find out!. Brown Sugar Boba Milk with Cream Mousse (P120). For that serving and price, it was all worth it! Yes, the hype is very much real. Okay, so I haven’t had any other brown sugar milk tea. This is my first, and glad that it was. Before, I was afraid of how sweet it would be. But it wasn’t. The cream cut that sweetness in making for one yummy drink. You could still taste the tea here. And the pearls were just perfectly cooked. I do find it to be pricey for its size. I was starting to wish that I bought two since we did line up for more than an hour.
I went on a weekday afternoon yet the line was really crazy long. It will take you around 1hr-30mins.
The drink for me was too sweet. Unfortunately, they don’t allow the sweetness level to be changed. But i would really choose this over Yifang or any brown sugar drink available here in manila.
The cost of this drink is around PHP. 120. I find it kinda pricey because of the size. (Unfortunately, There’s only one size that you can order.)
Given the choice, I would try this again minus the long queues.
PS: There is a special lane for senior citizens. Sooo no need to line up if you are with your senior relatives/friends.
Solid yung milk tea, malinamnam yug lasa kasi yung gatas medyo smooth, swabe mouthfeel. Yung arnibal hindi ganun katamis. Yung boba/pearl naman ok yung texture, malambot na melts in your mouth ng onti. Yung hassle lang yung swabeng pila para kang bumyahe sa tagaytay (sorry sa pag exaggerate, lol!).
Out of curiosity finally I decided to try this. Went on friday afternoon, queued for 1 hour then I bought their bestseller one. The bobas are 2 kinds, big & small size. The big one is chewy like mochi like everyone said. Overall it’s not too sweet. I like it.
The long queue was not worth it, unless you have a senior with you who can fall in line at the priority lane like us then it’s worth the hype. It’s your typical milk tea with a fusion of taho taste. Get it? It’s like milk tea taho? Minus the silken tofu. I’d drink it again but not falling in line for like 1 hr and 30mins.
I expected to wait for 1-1.5hrs but I got my order in 40mins so, yay. 👍🏻 I ordered the brown sugar boba pearl with cream and I loved it. Will definitely come back for more.
We tried tiger sugar for the first time last Saturday lunchtime. The line is faster than usual (from what I heard) since we waited for 30 mins more or less. The milk tea is great for brown sugar lovers who like chewing the large boba. They only offer one size, but it is cheap for the price is 120 pesos. Sadly, we cant adjust the sweetness and ice level.
After waiting on the very loooong queue for 1 hour and 15 minutes, we were able to try Tiger Sugar's Brown Sugar Pearl Milk with Cream mousse (P120.00) as according to the girl on the counter, that's the only drink available that time.
After the very first sip, the first thing that goes into my mind is the taste of arnibal (caramelized brown sugar syrup) (I shook it already). After sipping most of my drink, the milk (or cream?) can be tasted now. I suggest you shake your drink more and let the arnibal's dominant taste fade and mix with the cream more. I like how the pearls were too soft (unlike the usual chewy milk tea pearls).
It was quite satisfying but I guess I will try it again if the queue is shorter.
I waited for over an hour just to try Tiger Sugar's Brown Sugar Milk Boba. It was worth it! I loved the boba. It was chewy and sweet. The brown sugar gave it some extra flavor. The drink was nice and creamy. It is perfect on a nice hot day in Manila.

We have been milktea lovers even before we visited Taiwan where there's plenty of it. It's in our routine to drink 2-3x a day of milk tea when we went to Taipei and we tried different brands. However, we never tried Sugar Tiger so we were curious what the craze's all about when we saw the long line of people while we were strolling along BHS.
We initially planned on buying Yi Fang as we have not tried it yet but when we saw that there's a priority lane for Sugar Tiger, we decided to wait in line to try it instead.
We were able to get our milkteas, PEARL series with Cream, within 20mins. We talked to some people who have waited in the regular queue and were amazed that they have the patience to wait for about 3hours from falling in line to placing their order at the counter until they have their orders!
Sugar Tea has its distinct taste compared to the usual brands found in the Metro though I would not wait in line for more than hour for this.
I recommend that you try it but wait until the hype subsides.
