So it's GCQ and technically we aren't supposed to be dining out due to COVID but luckily, this place was empty when we ate here today. Apparently they only allow 3 customers in the restaurant at a time. Which is a pity because this place always used to be packed pre-Covid! But we appreciated the safety measures in place.
We ordered the steak salad, shrimp and crab pasta, double cut porkchop, and country fried steak.
The steak salad was good! Tasty with just the right amount of dressing, and tender spices of steak. A winner in my book, though I wish there were more greens.
The pasta was great! The sauce was just right, with a subtle brininess, a hint of spice, al dente noodles. A touch of lemon balances out everything.
The double cut porkchop was big and juicy! Good portion and would order again. The country fried steak's breading was not too thick, though I wish I had ordered one of the house specialty dishes instead.
My only major complaint is that most (if not all) appetizers were unavailable! Which is understandable. I'd probably call ahead next time to check if they're available. Otherwise, a memorable dinner. Would come back and recommend to others ✌🏼
Fireside is one of our favorite restaurants in BGC and we are honored to share with you, guys, the new delicious items on the menu.
Roasted Corn Chowder. Rich and creamy corn soup, peppers, potato, celery. I love the taste and texture of this corn chowder. It's viscous yet smooth when you eat it. There's a good balance between its creamy taste and the taste of corn, complemented by the other vegetables in it. I like this chowder a lot because it doesn't come too strong or too seasoned compared to other chowders that I have tried. I just find the balance of flavors quite perfect. Also, the bread is so good--best eaten while hot and by scraping a side of the bread and adding soup with it. This is one of my favorite picks among the dishes served.

Went in during lunch time on a friday payday and was conveniently accommodated. Ordered those in the photos for 5 people and we are all satisfied. Make sure to order Buttermilk Fried Chicken if you're dining here.
My over all rate for me is 5! First I love their ambience it has a fresh feeling maybe the place has nice ventilation. The interior is nice too! And the food was a wow for me! We ordered double cut pork chop, grilled halibut and steak salad! I love the taste of all the food we ordered... Something u can't explain but u will still always remember. It's so great. You will love the feeling when u got the taste of their food. Their staff was nice too! Haha!

Their buttermilk friend chicken with corn doughnuts are some of the best in the metro! Menu has a wide variety and will surely satisfy anyone in the family. 👍🏻
Comfy chairs, tasty meals!! But i hope they can have smaller portions of chicken to share like for 2 people who dont eat too much and wants to eat others in the menu. Haha nonetheless, the smokes are to die for!!! 😋 the burger got finished before photo was even taken 😅
Buttermilk fried chicken and waffles are the best. Also their crabmeat dip for the nachos is really really superb. Ambiance is really nice and I do love it the first time we ate here.
I really like eating at Fireside by kettle my favorite meal are the buttermilk chicken with corn muffin, steak salad, fries and burger!!! The servings was big good enough for sharing to 2-3pax so I find their prices reasonable. The ambiance was also chic and cool plus very accommodating restaurant staffs too.

Truffled Potato Chips with Blue Cheese was flavorful, you can taste the cheese on every bite of chips,but no truffle taste (not even a hint).
Fireside Steak Salad was a nice surprise, the vegetable was fresh and balsamic dressing was nice. Fireside House Burger was amazing!!
However, the restaurant was not clean and there are a lot of flies while eating. Overall, I would come back to eat their other selection.
Had caesar salad, buttermilk chicken fingers and grilled halibut. Everything was good, except for my latte served warm and not hot. Food are pricey for its portions, service is fast. Not a Zomato gold partner, so I’d not frequent as much. :(
I think this place is the definitive comfort food place for carnivores. Slow-roasted, grilled, fried and pretty much every way to prepare some slabs of protein. Pricey? If you’re a thrifty eater like me then yes. Worth it? Definitely
I wish they didn't remove the megamall branch. I really loved this place. Seevings are good for groups and reasonable priced. My always go to order is the ceasar salad with bacon slab. The bacon slab is the real winner. This can actually be a meal on its own. Ofcourse the buttered chicken as well. Definitely a resto to come back to.
The place ain’t exactly big, but comfortable. As For the food, well it was amazing, specially their lamb steak. cant complain about the prep time since i really loved the steak.
Had lunch with college friends. After the full eating during Christmas season, decided to get the humble Caesar Salad (solo), P179.00. It was good, filling. Love the generous bacon bits. Asked for additional dressing and they gave it at once. Kind service, helped us with fixing our chairs and bags as we were with small kids. Nice ambiance too, ideal for get-togethers. :)
Like to try some level up American cuisine? Fireside would make a good choice.

Had a bonding session with my sisters we went to ROX for wall climbing then had dinner at Fireside. We ordered Four Cheese Pizza and Buttermilk Fried Chicken. Their chicken came with fried muffin balls. It was really rich and their chicken was always my favorite from Kettle. Pizza was cheesy too.
Price point can be a little pricey but the food was still good.

I’ve eaten their Buttermilk Fried Chicken fingers. It’s for sharing, and way too good. Their batter is light but at the same time sinful. Going to try their steaks next time. I know for a fact that This Restaurant is connected to Tender Bob’s so I feel their steak is gonna be awesome too.
Had a satisfying Friday evening meal here.
Started off with a couple of cocktails - gin based Wildberry Smash and bourbon based Honey Old Fashioned. Both were good.
Had their version of Sisig - Brisket Sisig. Good take on the famous Filipino bar chow, this time with US Angus Brisket chunks with onions, jalapeno, red pepper in a green onion coulis. Quantity is small but the taste is near authentic.
Next came the Fireside House Burger. Quite big with half pound Angus Beef patty. Moist and tasty patty contrasting well with the onion and zucchini strings and cheddar cheese. Had this with a macaroni salad side
Similar to Kettle itself, food here is also a bit pricey but gives the bang for one's buck. Must try here are fireside steak salad, buttermilk fried chicken fingers, 50/50 meatloaf, grilled chicken and broccoli alfredo.
For appetizer, we had the Mascarpone Cheesecake (PhP 359)--made with sweet and savory cheesecake dip, arugula, croutons, and sweet tomato jam. It was rendered as a visually appealing dish, enough to please foodies and cheese lovers alike. Taste of the cheesecake dip was luxurious, and we loved it!
Grilled Chop House Bowl (PhP 219) was fresh, flavorful, and a wonderful addition to the meal. It was composed of everything that sounded healthy and appealing: green zucchini, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, pineapple, bell peppers, apple, egg, corn, roasted chicken, feta, mixed with honey lemon dressing. A hearty meal by itself, it can keep one feeling full and satiated throughout the day.
Juicy and succulent, Fireside's Buttermilk Fried Chicken Fingers (PhP 549) delivered in spades. The fried chicken was truly crispy and flavorful on the outside, and tender on the inside. It was brined for 24 hours, and prepped with cajun Ritz breading, cajun honey, gravy, and cornbread doughnuts.
I love the pizza and their cocktails here, the staff are all courteous as well. I missed to take a picture of my orders. Maybe nextime, I'll be back 😄

Our meal was closer to 3.5 than 4 but in the absence of half marks, I decided to be fair and round up to 4.
Service was pretty poor - not bad, as such, but inattentive and disorganised. We were given the menus on arrival but not the drinks list, and it took 5 minutes to get a waiter's attention to get this also, so we ordered our food before we had a chance to decide what we wanted to drink.
The food order was brisket sisig, smoked mac and cheese, and 50/50 meatloaf. The sisig was rich, tasty and flavoursome, but seemed a bit small for the price.
The mac and cheese was utterly forgetful - a thin, watery sauce with little in the way of cheese taste, and overpowered by smoke.
Our order of a carafe of sangria arrived at the same time as the meatloaf. The carafe is one of those tall, slender jobs with an even thinner neck. Filled to the top with the addition of large lumps of ice meant that it was impossible to pour it without spilling it across the table and leaving sticky sangria on the outside of the glass.
Management, sort out your barware or teach your bar staff not to put ice into this type of carafe.
The sangria itself was pleasant enough, but a bit too sweet for my taste.
The meatloaf was the truly redeeming dish for us. Two very generous slabs of tasty meatloaf with mushroom sauce, a pot of tangy barbecue sauce on the side, and an equally generous serving of mashed potatoes. The meatloaf was moist without being mushy, rich, with lots of bacon included. The potatoes were a touch underseasoned but had a nice consistency, not overly pureed.
All in all, 3.5 is more reflective of our meal, but the meatloaf saved it from being a 3.
We decided to eat here last sunday for lunch. They had an interesting menu that will make me come back again. I really love their mascarpone cheesecake and caesar salad. The mascarpone cheesecake had the right blend with the sweet tomatoes but the toast was not hot. The caesar salad was well tossed and the bacon was just perfect! Worth another visit!

I was really craving for baked macaroni for some reason that day so I went to check zomato for places near my office that could help satisfy my craving. I fell upon this place and saw their Smoked Mac n Cheese. i got so curious about it and decided to have dinner here. we just ordered the Bacon and Chorizo pizza and the mac n cheese.
Pizza'rific!
The pizza was very cheesy and flavorful!!When I first saw it my thought was that oh boy, this is too small for me and my beau, but boy was I wrong. we really enjoyed it and were satisfied with it. We finished the entire serving though hahaha. The bacon and chorizo was really in sync in this pizza, and the cheese was oh lala!!👌 Only thing I would like to change is that it was a little too crispy. if that even makes sense.
Smoked Mac n Cheese
Same with the pizza, this came out and had me thinking oh boy we need to order another dish but again, proven wrong wrong wrong. not only did it stay true to its name, it also was enough to satisfy us both. Well we had pizza to help, but if you see the size of this you would really be surprised. The bacon bits and cheese really really gave me a feeling of cloud 9 👌 Had to scrape the dish a little bit for the remains of the cheese because it was really good.
Price Wise:
The pizza was a little below P500.00, which I thought was not bad if you like pizza and if you will appreciate its taste and entirety.
For the Mac N Cheese I was really shocked to see it was only P229.00 because for its taste and quality I expected it to be a little more than P300.00,P350.00 tops.
Final verdict:
Told my boyfriend that we need to go back to try their other offerings. Really curious about their chicken fingers as it was the most ordered that night, and maybe try their burger.
If you're not THAT hungry and just want good food and a chill place, this is the place for you 💞💞

The service here is very friendly and responsive. The food is average and has a lot of fried food, depends what you’re looking for. It seems like comfort food. The place isn’t very big but serving size is big and great for sharing.

Enjoyed Tuesday's early dinner at Fireside after an afternoon of happy shopping with the fam. On our table :Grilled Veggie Pizza- this was so good, even my kids enjoyed it. Guilt-free, paper thin slices. I could finish a whole pie by myself. Buttermilk chicken fingers- Kettle standard except that the corn bread doughnuts didn't sit well with me. Although creativity is appreciated, sometimes simple is best. Slow roasted Beef Brisket platter- loved the brisket but macaroni salad? Really? Maybe they should rethink this dish and serve it with good old mashed potatoes and a aide of veggies. This dish is pricey but forgettable. Overall, a good meal and I's definitely come back
One of our regular go-to places in BGC for their steak BLT. We usually swap the potato chips to fries for our little toddler. I also like ordering the grilled halibut. While they're known for their buttermilk fried chicken, I'm not a big fan of this dish... Maybe because it's more on the sweet side...? Oh well, I still love the service & ambiance of this resto. Very accommodating staff. :)
The Eatventurers finally tried Fireside by Kettle.
We ordered their truffle potato chips and buttermilk fried chicken fingers as well as sides including fries and potato salad.
We can say that their food’s expensive but it can be for sharing as they have generous servings.
We loved the buttermilk fried chicken! It’s so good and its honey sauce blends well with it. The truffle potato chips was also good.
We’re definitely trying Kettle next to see how they differ.

Between the 2 outlets we’ve been to, Fireside Megamall and this branch, both delivered really well. The brisket platter that my husband ordered was great, flavorful and tasty. I had the double cut pork chop, well done, and it was amazing. Very juicy and tender, sauce was very enjoyable I had to mop it off the plate haha. The roasted veggies was yummy as well. Now the glazed slices of apple which I thought were potato wedges, I’m not sure if I enjoyed it or not but anyway it wasn’t actually bad. This branch I like better coz it’s brighter and open unlike the one in Megamall. Only thing was the clipboard menu, pages are torn so they need some updating.

They say "friends who love to eat are the best people" and I honestly couldn't agree more. I've found that I get along best with my foodie friends.. I dunno, there's just something about being able to bond over great food. Well, that, plus the fact that my tummy works in mysterious ways (for some reason, I am always hungry), so it's always awesome to have friends who love eating as much as I do.
Fireside by Kettle
So one time, Richie brought Cess and me to Fireside at Bonifacio High Street. There, we got to try Chef Chiloy Santos' bestsellers like the Brisket Sisig, Buttermilk Fried Chicken Fingers, and 50/50 Meatloaf. For those who don't know, he's also the man behind Tender Bob's and Kettle - so even though it was my first time at Fireside, I already knew I was in for a treat!
For anyone who is a fan of fried chicken, ditch the fastfood restaurants for Fireside's Buttermilk Fried Chicken. There is a subtle difference of their version from our (sorry nageneralize ko na) usual preference. Also, partner it with their coleslaw :)
Fireside is the sister company of "Kettle". It had very limited food choices on their menu, probably just the same menu as Kettle, only it was changed a bit to make it more asian (or IDK) and others were named differently. Since I was a bit disappointed with the menu, I went for the basics - Buttermilk Chicken and Pasta (Mac & Cheese).
I always skipped this restaurant to go to that splendid pasta place upstairs, but today, I go for something new.
Feast your eyes on this pork chop -- succulent, not too gamey. It rests on top of a bed of apples and potato wedges, served with a side of your choice (I had frites)
Buttermilk Chicken is a specialty of Kettle, and this sister is no stranger to the game. Chicken fingers that hit you in the right spot, served with a side of your choice. I got the LOWKEY BEST MASHED POTATOES IN BGC!

A clean well-lighted place to dine for lunch, merienda or dinner. I tried their chicken fingers and homemade doughnuts. Both are good for sharing. I loved their dip as well that you can take home with the mason jar with an addl php100.
I ate here with my friend last week. The crew is very accommodating and has a crew assigned on the table. Kudos to the management!
And the food was awesome! We had their buttermilk chicken (P460) and to our surprise it is of huge serving, serves 3-4 pax, with waffle balls on the side. Their gravy I must say the best gravy I had and refill is for FREE. We also ordered the salmon with red rice (P410) and sisig platter (P280). Salmon was perfectly cooked however a little blunt for me. Sisig platter is not good for sharing but very tasty and I liked it.
Will definitely visit the restaurant!
It's okay lang-- we ordered non-exciting food since we are on a diet. Our orders had small servings so perfect if you are dieting. Tastes clean and fresh as well.

Good to try, attentive staff, interesting appetizers...
We had early dinner here and got to try their Mascarpone Cheesecake, Hot Crab and Artichoke Dip, and Grilled Chiken and Brocolli Alfredo. We ordered Tamarind Iced Tea for drinks. They have promo on Sangria and wines, btw.
The Mascarpone Cheesecake was interesting. Salty, sweet, and tangy. It tasted more of a dessert, not bad as an appetizer tho. It was a little heavy, so indulged on it after the main course.
The Hot Crab and Artichoke dip could be a perfect 5 star if it's not that salty. It was too salty that I had to squeeze all the lemon on the dip. The nacho that came with it was fresh and crispy.
The Grilled Chicken and Brocolli Alfredo was almost heaven. It was creamy enough to cover the pasta and to get the taste of it.
Their servings are good for sharing. We were only two and we were not able to finish it all up.
The Tamarind Iced Tea was one of the best tamarind tea I have tasted, yet. It's sour and sweet, elreally refreshing!
I would love to try their other dishes next time and maybe avail of their wine promo.
Recommended for chill dinner with friends, esp if you like to have some wine.
The interior is cozy and their staff are friendly. The pricing is average, I would not say it's cheap but you get what you oaid for.

I absolutely love the work of Chef Chiloy Santos, the man behind institutions such as Tender Bob's, Kettle and Fireside. I am a fan of American Cuisine, and Chef Chiloy admittedly draws a lot of his inspiration from his travels around the United States. When his latest concept, "Fireside by Kettle" opened at SM Mega Fashion Hall a couple of years ago, I made sure to be there on the first week that it opened with my family to celebrate my birthday. Since then, I've been back a few more times, and each time I've visited, the food has remained consistent, with the food getting better and better each time.
Inconsistent. I was able to eat here twice once with officemates and the second with family. I find their food inconsistent with my first visit tasting better than the second.
The Buttermilk Chicken Fingers was really good and flavorful, on my second visit though, the serving had more skin than meat which was disappointing.
The Chicken Alfredo was delicious but tasted bland on my second visit too.
Fireside steak salad is okay. The steak was served cold on my second visit. Bleh.
In short inconsistent and a bit too pricey as well considering other establishments that taste just as good without putting too much of a dent in your wallet.

From the outside, this place can be intimidating for some. It looks like a place that needs planning and proper budgeting before venturing into.
Its true! Its a proper restaurant where food is well prepared and lackluster service is not acceptable.
FOOD. Very good food. The herb-crusted salmon tastes clean and fresh. It is on a bed of red rice and is very filling. It is Php 500++. It is indeed a place that you appropriate budget for, once in a while. I can only wish they crisp up the salmon skin.
They have very friendly and accommodating staff and managers. They can get full during weekend dinner time, so try to book in advance.
But wait, theres more! It was the weekend so I couldn't get the happy hour promo, but their happy hour is the beat time for budget foodies (like myself) to come and enjoy their cocktails and beers at "buy one take one" promo! This is perfect for trying out their amazing appetizers! I super like the warm artichoke with crab meat dip (we liked it so much we ordered another!) where you can really enjoy the dip as it us more than enough for the chips! If you'll ask me, the chorizo meatballs is a good "ulam" 😊! These ate priced friendlier than the mains of course and wont necessarily break the bank.
The vigan inspired cake (joke) was very moist, soft and airy, even the icing is light! Not too sweet! Good job on the coconut shavings, so now. Lol.

PERFECT SCORE. I tried the sweet corn cappuccino and cesar salad for starters, grilled halibut for mains and iced tea. All were amazing. Also it is very worth mentioning that our server, Mara, was very efficient and polite. We are very impressed. She must have been trained by the best. Definitely would recommend to my friends! Would come back? Of course.
I like the pork chop. It was well marinated inside out. I would be coming back to try also some other food in their menu. Looking forward to drop by on a weekday and wiould be hoping for a discount.

Over-all experience, Satisfying - for a Sunday dinner out with the family. We had a better experience here than in Kettle at SM Aura though that restaurant deserves another chance...
Likes: Grilled Chophouse Salad - this was an excellent starter. The honey lemon dressing was excellent.
Likes: Fireside House Burger - doneness, just as we wanted it; would have been better with fries though
Likes: Buttermilk Fried Chicken Fingers - their best seller and for good reason. Try this out. Their own donuts matched quite well.
Would have second thoughts ordering next time: Grilled Halibut - there was too much of a fishy flavor and odor to it. I suggest some lemon to go with it.

Dine-in experience - very good; comfortable and cozy.
Suggestion: we were 3 with a good appetite when we dined - a salad to share, 3 main dishes - we figured, a salad with 2 main dishes to share was enough.
I enjoyed the halibut, it was cooked perfectly, moist inside and crust outside. I would've wanted more of that tomato jam like topping. I like their donuts too since it's freshly made and simple.

When I went and enjoyed my time with their other branch, I said to myself over and over, I have to go back. And today I did do that over solo lunch. It was me with three of their dishes, all of them giving my palate much satisfaction.
I had for starters probably one of the best value for money salads out there, Chopped Salad for only Php 219. It was a colorful bowl of various fresh and crisp vegetables. It had the usual greens with egg and other much nutrient filled and fibrous parts like kale, zucchini, broccoli, bell peppers and corn. It had fruits as well with pineapple and apple joining this fantastic mix. This wasn't your typical and boring salad. It had nice contrasting taste and textures!
For main, I had a Double Cut Pork Chop (Php 539), a juicy 325 gram lean meat, cooked to perfection, flavored with honey cider. Topping it was tasty peppercorn mustard cream sauce. This juicy piece of wonder also had sweet grilled soft apples and other vegetables. A monster meal for the ages.
For my last hurrah with a full tummy already, I still enjoyed tremendously their talk of the town Cornbread Doughnuts (5 pieces for Php 109). This ball of wonder had a nice sweet crunch on the outside and a soft mushy inside. This could have been ideal with their fried chicken but I have such a small capacity.

This branch is very "attractive" and we are glad we entered it. It's also very clean and there's a view of BHS. ;-)
Some, if not most, of the servings are good enough to share. The food tastes and good and the service crew is very, very attentive and very courteous.
They serve the best vegetable pizza I've ever tasted...so far.
Their coffee is delicious and very aromatic, but I think it's too strong for me, but if you need a jolt, I think it's just what you might need. :-) The crema is great. They do have decaf if you don't wanna dare.
Oh, before I forget, there is value for money.

This is a more "relaxed" spin on Kettle - one of my comfort spots of a resto here in Manila- I had already reviewed the Fireside branch in Megamall so I will not dwell on what was ordered then:)
This particular branch of Fireside is small, yet cozy, the best seats would have to be along the huge windows along Central Square Plaza.

Chop House Salad..an interesting melange of greens, zucchini, brocolli, cauliflower, kale, pineapple, egg, corn, roasted chicken, feta, apple, bell pepper in honey lemon dressing. It was refreshing, contrasting different textures and a myriad of flavors
50/50 Meatloaf ... half ground bacon and half ground angus beef. Definitely one of the best ones I have had. The garlic mash was on point, tasty and creamy as well.
Next time ill probably have those donuts with the squeeze bottle thingys for dessert😉
Service was attentive and quite efficient
My boyfriend and I were supposed to go to a popular sushi place around BGC for the first time, only to arrive at the restaurant with a long queue. I was so hungry. I was feeling dizzy. I was about to unleash the monster in me. I couldn't wait any longer, so we went to another restaurant nearby, Fireside by Kettle.
For the buttermilk fried chicken alone, yes I am giving this 5 stars. Ultimate comfort food and though I was not in the best mood when I went there, my disposition vastly improved. This is what food should do to you. Food needs to make you happy and feel better. This is what their fried chicken did for me.

We ate lunch there on a Sunday. This newly opened restaurant is conveniently located at the ground floor of Central Square. To be honest, we had not eaten in any branch of Fireside, and were surprised that they did not have pizza. Anyway, we had a caesar salad, a macaroni, and a lamb ribs. We were trying to reduce meat, but did not realize that the caesar salad came with a slab of bacon!
The macaroni tasted good for our kid, but a bit pricey at over P200. The lamb ribs was ok. For similar menu, Village Tavern and Rocky Room nearby would probably be just as good at slightly lower price.
Got excited when I found they are opening in Central Square, had lunch today here, we were standing outside waiting for tables and after 15 mins of standing, staff finally attend to us. We were seated after 10 mins, Good thing my porkchop was cook just the way I like it.. We will be coming back again and I will the grilled chix and broccoli alfredo

Food was great! Ordered the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Tenders, 50/50 Meatloaf, Spaghetti and Meatballs, and the Asian Chicken Salad.

We were asking for water and they gave us a pitcher of water w/o glasses. When the glasses came, they took the pitcher. Also asked them to clean the seats (see below). Instead of wiping down the whole thing, she just wiped a small part of it, leaving the other spots still dirty.
The place was a bit dirty. They don't thoroughly clean the table when the previous party leaves. The booth had wet spots all over on one side and had crumbs on the other.
If you've been in Kettle at SM Aura, you will surely love Fireside by Kettle. Super huge servings at reasonably priced! If you have a buddy, best to try their Buttermilk chicken with friend corn donut (or muffin?) with honey. The best!!!!! Their Mac and Cheese is not over-powering! Make sure to try their desserts too!
