i just had drinks. just enough to cover for you on a tiring day. i had whisky sour because my favorite here, the amaretto sour is unfortunately not available.
Aside from the “so goooood” happy hour cocktails that made Bugsy’s so popular to us yuppies, their menu also boasts great finds making it a perfect “one-stop” for dinner-and-drinks on a Weeknight.
Before sipping down our usual six-glass Amaretto-thon, here are a few house favorites that we just love:
Fish and Chips - I’ve mentioned many times in this blog how big a fan I am of Fish and Chips, so you’ve probably guessed I ordered Bugsy’s version of it. And hey, it’s a bestseller! The two huge pieces of battered dory fish fillet had me at ‘hello’. I love it better with ranch than lemon butter sauce, though, but it’s just my preference. Although the fish itself was a little bland, the sauce helps, and the whole plate is filling!
Buffalo Tenders & Buffalo Wings - Bugsy’s Buffalo Tenders is a bestseller! And since the flavor is no different from their Buffalo Wings and I prefer real chicken wings — the Buffalo Wings is a bestseller to me! 🙂 With its “secret sauce” that’s tangy, a little spicy, buttery, and just sooo good, Bugsy’s Buffalo got me head over heels in love. Both dishes are paired with Bleu Cheese dip.
I’m so sad that the Bugsy’s in Salcedo closed down already. Glad there’s still a branch that remains open.
Attentive staff and fast service. We enjoyed our Saturday night drinks at this convenient spot. They have happy hour too! Food is also decent. Would recommend.
We always order the bugsy’s siegel for sharing split into 2 with my bf. Being the steak lover that I am, I can go here anytime for quality steak without breaking the bank. Serving is just right to get your steak fix + drinking at Happy Hour is the best!
Unlocked Gold in Bugsy's, it was so easy and fast! Got amazing drinks and the servers were really friendly and considerate😊 My favorite was the sampler! Thanks for a great experience!
Going on this escapade of who's got the best wings, one of our favourites is Bugsy's. Try their buffalo tenders or the wings. It comes in a hot sauce and served with blue cheese dressing.
It's the perfect pulutan for a night out or just binge eating wings while watching the game.
service time was bad but those buffalo tenders are really the bomb! it's a nice place to watch basketball games too. crowd really gets into the game.
It's just poor service when you sit upstairs, so I recommend you get a seat on the first floor... that is if you can take secondhand smoke your entire stay.
Appetizers get out of the kitchen quick, but the mains will take around 45 minutes.
Chicken was small, pancakes were good!
Quesadillas were nice, with cheese oozing from the sides!
The ambiance is cozy. The food was great. They had this Valentine's Day promo- buy 1 get 1 for the nachos, wings and pizza. Since it's just me and hubby, we had to take out those not yet consumed. Enjoyed na... Super sulit pa. :-) By the way, staffs are friendly too.
Me and my co-teachers had our after party here at Bugsy's. It was happy hour so my friends had tons of fun with drinks and food. We even played monikers here so everyone was so loud, good thing we had the whole upstairs all to ourselves. Aside from drinks from their happy hour we ordered these:
BUGSY'S NACHOS
-One of their best sellers. It was big, it had a lot of toppings, the cheese was in generous amount. It was perfect!
APPETIZER SAMPLER
-shublig sausage, mozzarella sticks, spicy squid heads, potato wedges and fried sisig rolls. Anyrhing that you've been wanting to ask for is in this platter. Great for those who will be eating in groups.
Months ago, Burgos Circle launched a campaign they dubbed as Bacon Fest. For a whole month, participating restaurants in this strip offered their own take on the world’s most loved cured meat, Bacon.
I was invited to check out theirs, Deep Fried Bacon presented Lechon Kawali style. Its crispy and tasty skin was the winning touch.
They also served other media with their well marinated, spiced Buffalo Wings; crunchy but, unfortunately bland, classic Fish & Chips; and cheesy Margherita Pizza, served with marinara sauce.
If you look closer into their menu, they thrive in offering unique versions of your usual go to dishes. These I value in Bugsy’s.
We had late dinner around 1 to 2 am in BGC branch. I did not expect the food to be really nice coz I thought they are more focused on drinks. It was a bit pricey though. Its a bar so the ambience so its noisy. As to the staff they were nice.
We ordered the following:
Grilled chicken Burrito
Chicken Rosemary
Grilled Honey Lime Skewers
Roast Pork Belly
Grilled Porkchops
This branch located in Burgos Circle is truly accommodating.
It accepts large groups without hesitation.
They offer the usual American comfort and finger food. Gotta love their margherita pizza and poutine.
Service is good and orders are served on time.

If you are looking for a a place where you and your friends can hangout after work and have good conversation, you can dine at this place.
They have a happy hour promo that let's you enjoy selected cocktails on their menu- two for a price of one.
They have big servings of food too. Variety of food can be ordered and a wide range of booze as well.
The ambience was okay. If you want fresh air, they have tables outside. If you want to watch sports you can go to their bar area or if you want a more relaxed area they have a second floor which is more subtle and quiet.
Ambience – 3/5
They allowed smoking in the air-conditioned area on the ground floor when we visited.
Service – 3.5/5

Ambiance is nice since we were outside the place and its windy, feels chill :) service is not that good specially when you're located outside...twas my 1st time but definitely considering going back to try some...love the cocktails..they have promo which is buy one take one for the cocktails :)...price is ok though its pricey if you're just there to drink.
Late lunch at Bugsy's with fellow foodies. This is not my first time to try Bugsy's thats why I am so familiar with some of the food they served.
Some of the notable dishes we had were the Potato Chips, Crispy Chicken Skins and Buffalo Tenders.
We also tried some of the new dishes in their menu like the Roasted Bone Marrow with Roast Beef and the Arroz Caldo. And they both good even I am so full already I can't resist to try those dishes because it looks appetizing and taste really good.
We were served Mojito and other Cocktails during that day.

Whenever I pass by Bugsy's in Ortigas, it has always appealed to me like a late night drink hangout or a sports bar. I'm not much on those things that's why when we were invited for a foodie meet-up in Forbestown, Bonifacio Global City, I took it as an opportunity to get to know more their menu and what other things Bugsy's has to offer. I was really surprised with the wide array of food they served us! Here are my favorites:
The Ultimate Cheese Sampler. I love everything with cheese and the one that stuck out the most was the cheesy bread sticks. I love that chewy consistency of the cheese with every bite!
Chicken Skin Chicharon. Who wouldn't love this? Crispy, tasty chicken skin partnered with spiced vinegar with the right kick. I'm still craving for this!
Garlicky Shrimp Pizza. I thought it had the right amount of cheese and shrimp in it. This was the one I've eaten the most out of everything that was served to us.
Buffalo Wings. I love the amount of heat in the chicken, didn't go overboard. And that bleu cheese dip was lip-smackingly a perfect complement to the wings! Yum!
Carbonara. The fried chicken chunks at the side gave the pasta a good crunch and though I am biased with white sauce-based pasta, they've done a pretty good job here!
The Bugsy Siegel. The meat was succulent and tender, and every mouthful was flavorful. And the mashed potatoes served with it was good too. Maybe a little more buttery taste wouldn't hurt.
I didn't expect that they served Pinoy comfort food faves like Kare-kare (their peanut sauce was made from scratch, nothing canned or instant in their ingredients -- even the bagoong!) and the Arroz Caldo. The Roasted Bone Marrow with Roast Beef, I had a half a spoon of that melt-in-your-mouth marrow and I promised myself to come back to get more of that, preferably with rice to go with it -- or beer. Haha.
Bugsy's stepped out of the sports bar box for me with their amazing array of dishes. You could tag along your family here for a nice sumptuous lunch or dinner, or you could come with friends and enjoy their cocktails!
Bugsy's has always been a favorite of mine because of their superb pork chops and value for money drinks during the Happy Hours.
At the FMU, we were given their classic favorites: their homemade potato chips, pork chops, buffalo tenders with bleu cheese dip and more. They also introduced their new menu items of Filipino favorites like Arroz Caldo and Kare-Kare!
What got our attention the most at first was the new bone marrow dish they had. A huge bone cut to expose the marrow inside! Sinfully delicious!
It's amazing when you get information about the dishes! It was my first time knowing that Bugsy's actually uses homemade stuff for their dishes! The peanut butter that they put in the Kare-Kare is made from scratch daily and this dish is really good! Perfect for a lunch out dish with your officemates or for a Sunday lunch with the fambam!
The Arroz Caldo is the perfect definition of comfort food, especially this rainy season! The bowl's huge, great for sharing!
Of course, their classics are still great. Those homemade potato chips will make me fat if I had those everyday! Love that they're so crispy and not oily!
Not my first time here but this is the first time that I got to try a lot of new items. I've only tried the buffalo chicken and porkchop before and both were pretty good and sulit!! 👍🏼
For this FMU, we were able to sample a lot of different dishes and my favorites are the following:
POTATO CHIPS. So addicting!!! 😂
The steak gaah, for the price, this is really sulit and very very good. It was cooked perfectly, very tender and loved how tasty it was. For budget friendly and good steak, this is a good option. 💯
Never thought they'll offer pinoy food such as Kare Kare and Arroz Caldo but surprise surprise, they do! Haha! I was not able to try the kare kare anymore but the arroz caldo was good. Perfect for the rainy season!! 🍲
And of course, the buffalo chicken and porkchop were still both yummy!! Classic dishes you can have anytime of the day - lunch, merienda 😉 or dinner. Yummy and will surely make anyone happy. 🤗
Other must tries are the crispy chicken skin (everyone loved this) and the bone marrow something. Sinful yet sooooooooo good! 🤤😍😑😳💛
Catched up with foodies in Bugsy's Sports Bar and Bistro. Pride's itself with being a quaint drinking place with their beer below zero. Tv's everywhere a pool table and bar stools setup like a typical American Bar. For some fresh air, there is also the availability of an outside meal experience on the streets of Burgos Circle. We got served Home-made potato chips(P225), Chicken Skin Chicharon (P225), Roasted Bone Marrow with Roast Beef Drippings (P375), Ultimate Cheese Sampler (P495),
Garlicky Shrimp Pizza (P425), Bugsy's Burger (P325), The Bugsy Siegel (P995), Buffalo Tenders (P275), 3 Cheese Truffle Bacon Bit Pizza (P435), Kare-Kare(P245), Arroz Caldo (P245), Grilled Pork Chops (P445), and Chicken Rosemary(P375).
My favorites were the Chicken Skin Chicharon, Roasted Bone Marrow, Bugsy's Burger, The Bugsy Siegel, Chicken Rosemary and the 3 cheese truffle Bacon Bit Pizza.
The Chicken Skin Chicharon is a tickle to your taste buds and a punch to your arteries. You can taste the crunchiness and saltiness of the delectable chicken skin, dip it in sauce for extra flavor. The Roasted Bone Marrow is another dish that medical cards will have a run for its money. Fatty goodness in a bone with a hint of ambrosia scent. The Bugsy's burger was another good dish the patty was decent and they had heap servings of bacon enough for a bacon lover and will make vegetarian's cry.
Bugsy's Siegel is basicall your sirloin steak that was perfectly cooked medium rare. I'm a sucker for good steak and this one belongs to they-know-how-to-do-steak right category. The chicken rosemary was tender and savory. The chicken also had a herb taste to it and was perfectly grilled. THe 3 Cheese Truffle bacon bit was yummy as well, you could taste and smell the truffle oil with the pizza and it had a generous amount of bacon bits.
Food 4.5/5- All of the food was good but a few dishes stand out.
Price 4.5/5- Relatively cheap
Service 4/5- Had trouble at the end of the meal (packing for take outs)
Ambiance 4/5- typical American Diner Experience. I wish they had done something with the outside flies.

Bugsy's Bar and Bistro's clientele normally consists of nightly drinkers and diners. They often come for the happy hour on cocktails from 3 pm to 10 pm and and on beer from 10 pm to closing. The entire bar, both inside and outside, also allows smoking. This has worked to Bugsy's advantage for a long time.
But with the upcoming law limiting and/or banning smoking, Bugsy's decided to innovate ahead of the pack. This required a reorienting of its menu and a larger focus on the lunch and famiy crowd. They have also included more Filipino dishes with unlimited rice and iced served from 11 am to 3 pm. All of these dishes are also priced at P245.
Some of my recommendations for this place include the following:
Klassic Kare Kare and Filling Arroz Caldo
Bugsy's prides itself on preparing its own peanut sauce for the kare kare, and it shows in its rich, nutty, and smoky flavor. I suggest smothering your rice in the sauce.
The arroz caldo was also great with its peppery flavor. The combination of chicken and pork along with hardboiled eggs ensures that this meal is one to fill you up.
Grilled Porkchops (P325 for 1 piece; P445 for 2 pieces)
These grilled chops are juicy and tender, with the distinctive char that lends it a smoky flavor. It is served with garlic rice that is moist and flavorful.
The Bugsy Siegel (P995)
Named after the notorious gangster, this 1-inch USDA Angus beef steak is rich and savory thanks to its red wine sauce. I suggest alternating each bite with the green beans and creamy mashed potatoes served with the steak in order to enjoy it to the fullest.
Buffalo Tenders (P275)
These boneless chicken tenders are marinated in Bugsy's secret buffalo sauce and served with a blue cheese dip. Tangy and thankfully not fiery, these tenders are a great appetizer or meal in itself. The blue cheese dip is cooling and adds that familiar zing that I always look for in buffalo-style dishes.
Margherita (P325) and Garlicky Shrimp (P425) Pizzas
These pizzas are served on a thin oblong flatbread, not the usual round pizza crust. This allows for a crunchier and tastier crust since it is also grilled and not baked in an oven. The cheese has the right bite to it; the pesto and tomato sauce for the Margherita blend well together; and each bite of the Garlicky Shrimp bursts with that wonderful oily garlic taste.
With my overall experience in Bugsy's Bar and Bistro, I think it's safe to say that it will do well moving forward. The great service, wonderful dishes both classic and new, and the peaceful area all combine to provide a great dining and drinking experience that is a far cry from the tumultuous past of the real Bugsy Siegel's day.
Food and drinks: 4.0
Ambiance: 4.0
Service: 4.0
Value for Money: 4.0
Well, this place's location is very strategic for me. If you want to get drunk or hammered, feel free to walk in during their happy hours. Hahahahaha. Forgot what time it is then. Haven't been here for over a year since I go somewhere else. ^_^
The food is okay. I wouldn't say that it's smashing though. Price are at par with other bars as well.
It's a good place to meet new friends. Old friends count too.
My cousin was the one who encouraged me to frequent the place since she lives a block away from the establishment.
Bugsy's reminds me of good memories with colleagues after work at the Fort. My colleagues and I don't necessarily make arrangements or reservations as we prefer spontaneity so we just hit the bar and order whatever we can and like. The usuals would be grilled pork chop and amaretto sour. Yes, that is our preferred combo and has been going on for the last three years!
This time, got invited to visit and test out their new items:
Ultimate Cheese Sampler
Roasted bone marrow w/ roast beef
Klassic Kare-Kare
Filling Arroz caldo
New items are OK, but would still go for the usuals. You have to be prepared with at least P600-P700/each if you want to try a lot and eating with a group of 4-5, but I'll say go for the pork chops and take a few drinks, that way you'll be fine and and have a good time.
Fortunate to have been invited to a Food Meet Up (FMU) anew courtesy of Zomato and Bugsy's Sports Bar and Bistro in BGC. Personally, it was quite the perfect opportunity because I have been wanting to try this restaurant for the longest time but never quite got around to doing it. At first glance, the facade and the posters outside seemed to indicate that this is more of a drinking place that comes alive at night. and therefore perfect for night owls.
ARROZ CALDO

It's highly recommended after your busy day or any celebration. They serve delicious food with big servings. They also have refreshing cocktails, promo's on beer. The staff now are very polite and well trained. All in all it's a place to go! Good job Bugsy's!
Bugsy's is my go to place after work even on weekends.Been drinking here often and noticed better service and promotion. Manager was very accommodating and nice as well!! Would highly recommend👌🏼
Went here last week and the crews are very accomodating. Orders just took 5-15 minutes to serve. I also loved the place cos it's chill. Gotta commend the "LONG ISLAND ICED TEA (cocktail) plus the Beer below zero Heineken/san mig light is superb! Perfect pair with nachos / crispy pata👍🤙🏻
After you pre-game and game proper: head to Bugsy's. (Haha)
They have a buy 1 take 1 beer promo during 12am to 3am👌🏼Cool crowd. You gotta try the nachos, it's the bomb!
Bugsy's a familiar name in the bar scene. Not for me though, i don't think of booze, i think of Warren Beaty! Yeah, i am such a sucker for vintage Mafia Movies. And guess what? Bugsy is one of 'em.
Why would a retired party girl go to a bar, you ask? Two words - sponsored dinner. The invite is very timely as i have been working way too much for the past few weeks. I am in dire need of a drink. A glass of wine is in order. Wait....a whole bottle sounds really awesome.
Bugsy's is one of the establishments in my work neighborhood - Burgos Circle baby. This is regular route going home after my run. The interior screams "IamASportsBarButNotQuite" vibe. Why do i say that? Well, the LCD screens airing basketball is a dead giveaway but if we take that out of the equation, it looks more of a bar x restaurant hybrid. Dim the lights, play a lil jazz and we got a speak easy.
Starters.
| Chicken Skin Chicharon (Php 195). The name says it all but I feel that we need to add an adjective – CRISPY. This is one of the standout dishes of the night…WHY? No frills, straightforward, unhealthy appetizer….i mean everyone likes that. I think I said kept on mentioning to Chef Edward how awesome it is (I was saying that while I was munching on ‘em)
| Homemade Potato Chips (Php 195). Dear Cibo Chips – I am breaking up with you. I am in love with someone else.
| Bugsy’s Nachos (Php 345). Cripsy nachos with chili beef, red beans, jalapeño sour cream, onions, tomatoes and cheese. Who would’ve thought that I would like Nachos with beans in it? I guess it has something to do with how they mixed the ingredient in exact proportions, and how each flavour compliments the other.
| Buffalo Tenders (Php 265) . I am really a fan of buffalo wings but the first bite made me realize that if it is done right, it is magical. I like the fact that they didn’t go cray-cray with the buffalo sauce, the flavour is just right. The problem with other joints is that they put too much sauce and you don’t taste the chicken. This is the exact opposite; I get to taste how juicy the chicken is on the first bite. You know what is the best part, they use boneless chicken baby!
Pizza x Pasta
| 3 Cheese Truffle and Bacon (Php 425). Grilled flat bread topped with homemade marinara sauce, cheddar, mozzarella, parmesan, truffle essence and bacon. Flat bread is best eaten fresh off the oven in order to appreciate the texture of the dough. Well, I am happy to report that you don’t need to rush when dining at Bugsy’s as their flat bread remains awesome after letting it sit for x number of minutes. I like how the mixture of cheeses blend well with the marinara sauce.
| Vongole (Php 375). Vongole is prepared two ways – Bianco and Rosso. The latter is cooked with tomatoes and fresh basil. This is Deconstructed Rosso. Picture this – al dente spaghetti sautéed with fresh clams in creamy crab fat sauce. I like how the richness of the crab fat compliments the clean flavour of the clam. This is a dish that is thought of, carefully crafted and will surely please your palate.
Mains
| Grilled Porkchops (1 piece – Php 315, 2 pieces Php 435). Grilling pork requires expertise as the meat to on the dry side if it spends an extra minute on the grill and everything is down the drain after. What you will get is a dry and tough grilled porkchop. Fret not, this aint one of ‘em. The chops are grilled to perfection, the meat is juicy and tender. This is absolutely divine.
| Bugsy Siegel (Php 995). USDA Ribeye served with mashed potatoes, green beans and red wine sauce.
Fun Fact: This dish is named after a gangster who co-founded Murder Inc.
This is one of the best steaks under Php 1000. The meat is super tender and oozing with flavour. This is wow on the first bite. I never bothered adding some red wine sauce as the steak is good on its own. And the serving is big enough to be shared by two people. Now if doesn’t sound like a good deal, then I dunno what else can I say to convince you.
| Roast Pork Belly (Php 365). This is Chef Edward's personal favorite. I can't blame him, everyone likes pork belly. Lemme tell you that this is not the kind you find anywhere else. The dish is a family recipe, i think it is conceptualized by Chef Edward's grandmother. Short term memory loss aside, why do i say that this is one of a kind. Slow roasted pork belly infused with lemon grass! This is the first time i tried belly cooked with tanglad. The citrus flavor goes well with the meat. It creates an excellent flavor contrast that will entice your palate. After the first bite, i can confidently say...without a shadow of a doubt that this is the Baddest Pork Belly in Town.
Booze.
They have an extensive selection of booze to choose from – beer, cocktails, wine, champagne, whiskey, brandy , vodka, tequila and single malt. Our generous host offered overflowing drinks – Yay! *happy dance* I skipped the hard liquor and settled for a glass of red.
Dinner was fantastic. Good food shared with foodie friends is always a good idea but when you add a little ethanol in the picture, it becomes…..wait for it… Legendary.
Thank you Chef Edward and Martin for having us.
Peace Out!
~Reich
We ordered the carbonara and the sampler plate (nachos, margherita pizza, chicken tenders). Nachos were dry and average, so was the pasta. Service was really nice. We loved the location and ambiance.

Piece of advice: they serve big portioning in big plates. You might be able to finish it if you order too much. We really had a hard time finishing our food and it took all the space in our table.
I went for the country fried milk chicken and it's really good! I bet it's enough for two people especially if you have a small appetite. I found the fried steak and the honey garlic wings rather bland.
My friend brought me here for her late lunch but too bad I already ate. I just thought that I might just get dessert instead.
I had this mango bar with a scoop of ice cream and my friend had the sisig roll.
The mango bar took a lot of time to prepare but I thought that it was worth it because when I tasted it, it was warm and it went really well with the ice cream. I really enjoyed it.
My friend also let me try the sisig rolls and I loved it! It also went well with this dip + lemon.
A well-deserved 4/5
I love their happy hour promotion. 1 for 1 for cocktails. Ive tried their grilled chicken pasta, potato chips, quesadillas and nachos, they were all good. Cocktail wise, ive tried their long island tea (the best among all that ive tried), mojito, amaretto sour and whiskey sour. All were good! One comment: they need more waitresses! Kinda long to wait to place your orders and get your bills.
If not for their value for money Buffalo Chicken Wrap, I was disappointed on how Bugsy's attends to their customers. Price of beer is a bit expensive plus the fact of a slow unattentive service they did to us on a Steady Sunday treat. Although I will definitely return for their buffalo chicken wrap which is less than 200 bucks!
This was by chance that I had visited bugsy. Even though it's just below my house. I felt why did i wait so long.
We ordered couple of veg appetisers ( mozzarella stick and garlic mushroom). Both complimented the drinks well.
The margarita pizza was well baked and very balanced. I would like to visit the place again.
We came around 7:30pm, just right time to have dinner. The place is quite nice, since we could park our car near our spot. We just didn't expect that their service really sucks. Our dinner was served around 9pm already. Though the food is nice and affordable. Gonna recommend the chicken cheese quesadilla, carbonara and spaghetti bolognese. they're really nice. But still they have to improve the service since they have a lot of foreign customers.
So, me and my officemates ate here for lunch today.
First of all, the food was good. I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Lunch set that came with a semi-tall glass of iced tea. Presentation wasn't bad either, as you can see, and the serving was pretty big. The chicken was flavorful and the veggies were well buttered too. On top of the chicken were seasoned strips of egg. All-in-all the food experience was good.
What i didn't like though was the long wait. The food was served after maybe 35 minutes? Which i didn't understand why because there were only more or less five tables occupied when we arrived.
Anyway, I recommend the place, for its food and its variety of alcohol. What i ordered costed only Php120. I just hope you don't experience what i did, eapecially when you haven't eaten breakfast and you are beyond famished.
It's not often you find a restaurant that offers quality Fish and Chips, maybe because they normally use cream dory fish which isn't exactly ideal. Theirs is good so far, meaty and tasty, big serving too. Me and my partner decided that the Chili Bombs were actually not bad, but we thought it wasn't as hot as it should be. I like the flavor of their Chicken Buffalo Tenders with blue cheese dip, but it tasted like it just came out of the fridge. Could've been a lot better if it was served hot.

Forbes Town Center is like a sassy neighborhood of New York- they have great assortment of food choices and even better choices for a relaxing night cap. Bugsy's is on top of my list, of course as they have a good mix of expats and working force who come to chill for an ice cold beer. A very laid back setting perfect for those who have given up on the clubbing scene.
Their service is impeccable too. All servers dressed in fancy hats and they have that cool vibe to the customers making you feel at ease and comfortable.
While we didn't order food this night, I would definitely recommend their Buffalo Chicken Tenders with Cheese dip - I will attest it is one of the best kitchen masterpieces. The meat remains juicy despite the crunchy coat. It is bursting with mouth watering spice and flavors.
Their alcoholic drinks are average priced too. And right now they have a buy 1 get 1 on drinks too. Amaretto Sour being one of several choices, which is one of my favorites. Hooray!
I just come here whenever I crave of their best tasting pork chops! I also tried other food in their menu but I really like this one the most! The best grilled pork chops in town!!!! Place is great for sport fanatics and chill night fridays 👍🏻👌🏻😚
After the disappointment of Big Bad Wolf, I went next door to Bugsy's. They have a nice setup inside which is basically a bar with different types of tables setup. Looks like a great evening hangout.
As usual went during non peak times. There was only one other customer, although two more tables showed up while I was eating.
Server was prompt with my menu and made recommendations. I decided to go with the fish and chips (not one of the recommended items).
When the food came I was surprised. Two HUGE pieces of fish! Wow! Fish was very good and I was impressed with their tartar sauce and lemon / butter sauce. The fries were uninspired other than a few parsley flakes, they were standard restaurant crinkle cut fries
The wax paper under the fish was a bit annoying as it ripped up making it harder to cut the fish, but not a big deal.
Only complaint is there were a number of flies buzzing around my food for the entire meal with no action from the staff (candle etc). There were anywhere from 3 to 5 flies buzzing at any given time. Really killed the mood for the good food and atmosphere.
I will probably eat here again, but hope there are no / less flies next time.
Thanks Bugsy's!
We were going around burgos circle but most of the bars were packed with teenagers and college kids. Finally, saw this place for MY age group. Good food, good place, good ambiance to just chill and have some beer.
Good food Good place Good taste
went during happy hour... their mojito is my fave... as for the food, we only tried their nachos and their must-have beef tapsilog!! can't wait to go back during my next homecoming....

For those who crave for some degustation
The price is right for the food on your plate
Best of all you don't have to wait
Your appetite it will create
Come alone or with a date
Im very particular when it comes to Buffalo Wings/Tenders because im not fond of it being too sour but Bugsy's tasted right for me. I also loved their chili bombs. Be careful when opting to stay upstairs as waiters will be hard to call. The bar downstairs has the right ambiance of cool and chill.

Been in this resto for two occassions. One is when having a chillax time with friends. The place is cool for a hangout with buddies, thanks to its cozy sporty ambiance and good food. Another occassion is when searching for a serious lunch meal. Their Pork Chop Lunch Set is basically ok, and would consider trying the other dishes soon.
Situated in one of the poshest areas in Manila - BGC , it is modelled after an American sports bar.
Recommend go there on an ideal weekend , watch a match or strike a conversation .
Amazingly strong Long Island Ice Tea , while you savour a rib.
Can sit both inside and outside per your preference. The place comes alive on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Best place to hang and hung out !!!!
Perfect for u'r evening chill with friends. Crom dining to drinking. they have it all here. Great ambiance. They have indoor and outdoor. Indoor smoking too. Good customer service. Must try the bbq chicken nachos! So good! Right at the center of BGC.
This is one of my favorite chill spots as it perfectly caters young professionals a cozy place to stay; who want to booze-up a little, chill and relax after a tiring day at work. I usually take Lychee or Apple Martinis with Bratwurst or Shublig sausages both sauteed with onion rings and topped with crispy fried garlic bits for appetizers. And for main course, their grilled pork chops that go with spicy soy vinegar sauce is commendable. I'm quite dismayed with their Fish & Chips it is too buttery. But man, you need to get there a bit early if you want to get seated right away. Nonetheless, to top it all, I strongly recommend the place.

Cozy place to run to when you can't think of a place to eat. Besides that, it's a great place to dine. Pork chops, mozzarella sticks, beer and good company. Perfect! Just make sure to have a bit of patience to get seated and be prepared to be by the smoking area if not outside. Wherever, it will be a good dining experience.
ive tasted the best buffali chicken here.. its worth it.. waiters are very friendly.. nice place for bonding moments with family and friends.. :)
Been here last night, I love their buy 1 take 1 promo for their selected cocktail drinks (happy hour)...My all time favorite will be their mojitos and lychee martini!!!!
Kudos to the ambiance and food. I love this place.
I always crave for their buffalo tenders with bleu cheese dip, the serving is great. Plus my love, the southern fried pork chops. :'( I miss you everyday.
Whenever I crave for beef, I dropby to satisfy my appetite - they have a decent serving size. Tried other listings on the menu menu, they were ok but then again...their steak made up for any shortcomings they may have. Their steak was surprisingly good & very affordable! Worth ur buck!

We ate here to watch the Gilas game (WOOOOH!). It was my first time so it was one heck of an experience for me.
The ambiance is pretty commendable but the food, not so much. We ordered nachos, carbonara and buffalo wings. The nachos from Bugsy's really made my night. It was only 305 pesos but it was big and had lots of beef, chili con, jalapeno, onions, cheese, etc. It was delicious. The buffalo wings were normal. The pasta was delicious because they used real cream but the there was almost nothing but cream, there was no bacon :( It was delicious but it was just too small of a serving for its price.
Tip: arrive earlier than the usual dinner time so you can secure the table you want. The smoking area on the first floor are wilder and rowdier and the non-smoking area crowd on the second floor's a bit tamer/ Overall, the crowd at Bugsy's is really great. Best to go here if you want to watch a game with friends but not really if you want sulit food. ;)
I goto Bugsys quite a bit, basically because its the only decent size bar in the Forbeswood area. Its always clean and the beer is cold. Very friendly staff. They are also very helpful if you're new to the area. There's a lot of expats who frequent the place. Also, if you're looking for a steak that won't break the bank the "Bugsy Siegal" is surprisingly tasty!
If there's any one thing i like about Bugsy's at The Fort, it's gotta be accessibility. I live just a stone's throw away from the resto, and work even closer to said source of nutrition.
I was first exposed to Bugsy's (Ortigas) in the mid-2000's via my cousin. Truth be told, my initial experience at Bugsy's was not gastronomical. It involved alcohol (lots of alcohol), a lighter, cinnamon, and vicodin. Wierd combination? Tell me about it.
Since that day, I always saw Bugsy's as a bar, and never really thought of it as an actual restaurant. Until 2009. Enter the Bugsy Siegel. Ah yes, that thick, juicy, bloody slab of prime Rib-eye. The wonderfully majestic grill marks, the glistening fat, the intoxicating aroma of cooked meat. "Delicious" as an adjective hardly does it justice. At least back then.
Fast forward to 2013. I must admit I don't eat at Bugsy's as often as I'd like to, which is probably a good thing. I visited said establishment twice this year, and was surprised at a couple of things.
One: The Burn Bugsy Burn in The Fort is not as good as the one in Ortigas. For some reason, the folks at The Fort like using a lot of Cinnamon, which makes the drink a bit nauseating, specially due to the after taste.
Two: there is no consistency when the Bugsy Siegel is ordered and presented. Yes, you still have the mashed potato (gotta have them carbs), and yes, you still get two string beans (can't have a balanced meal without veggies), but when it comes to the steak itself, they can't seem to tell the difference when you say "medium-rare" and "medium-well". Kinda sad, actually. I guess it depends who's manning the grill at the time you order.
Suffice to say, Bugsy's definitely gives you bang for the buck. You get a platter-sized, near inch thick cut of Rib-eye, with just thenright amount of fat, and with pretty good marbling for only Php695! You can get something similar at Dillinger's, but that's another story.
That being said, if you're out and about and are thinking caveman, I recommend heading down to Busgy's. they'll definitely do right by you.
There was a time not too long ago when my daily lunch was composed of two slabs of grilled pork chops, and that time was when we were so addicted to Bugsy’s. Situated in Burgos Circle in The Fort, Bugsy’s Bar and Bistro is a favorite among professionals working in the area—as well as among foodies who are willing to travel just to satisfy an immediate yearning. I work in McKinley Hill, and often times, my friends and I would drive over to Bugsy’s or get there via cab so we could stop imagining their pork chops and eat them for real instead.
My saddest days were when Bugsy’s was so packed with customers that we would be forced to decide to eat someplace else. On such days I wish I had an explosive I could hurl onto people so they would vacate the place. In the several times we did manage to get seats, I already fell in love with some of the dishes they offer. Undeniably, for gluttons like me, the two-piece pork chops are the best choice. Served with garlic rice and side vegetables, the juicy pork chops ooze with flavor and demand an extra serving of rice, sometimes even two, haha! You can’t blame me, I’m a dancer, I train 3 hours every day, sometimes even up to 5 hours, I deserve to binge like this! Unlike you, you just sit there all day reading food blogs and then decide to go out and eat. Call me, I wanna try their steaks, let’s have dinner. LOL!
Another instant favorite is the Chicken Rosemary. I like anything that’s heavily herbed, and this dish is surely one of them. It reminds me of Sizzling Pepper Steak’s Herbed Chicken Steak, but without the smoky smell that lingers on your clothes after. This is precisely the best thing with flavorful, salty food—I get an excuse to have more servings of rice!
Sometimes, even though I have consumed a rice-accompanied meal, I still have the enthusiasm and stomach capacity to order pasta. Bugsy’s Spicy Tuna Pasta and the Pan-Seared Salmon (Norwegian salmon with carbonara) are truly delectable. I have also tried the Bugsy’s Famous Cured Beef Surprise, an all-day breakfast set that features tapa that is so tender and mouth-watering, especially if doused in the vinegar that comes with it.
If you’re a fan of sinful food in ridiculously huge servings, if you believe good value doesn’t have to come with an outrageous price tag, Bugsy’s is the place for you. Visit the restobar one of these days, and I pray sincerely that you will get seats (bring explosives). Guzzle some beer while you wait for your food, or choose from one of their cocktails. Or order whisky, like I do, multiple shots—but be sure to make up for that through exercise some other day. Give me three Jack Cokes, I’m a dancer, I have an excuse!

Bugsy's is an awesome bar to watch sports while enjoying some appetizers like calamari and drinking with friends. I usually order a Long Island Ice tea to accompany my food and then follow up with some other tasty cocktail like a mojito!!! It's a great place to start your partying specially if you like to get your belly full before heading to one the Fort premier night clubs. Most of the action happens after 5pm but you can find a lot of the business crowd eating here during lunch making it a very chill environment. I would recommend this place to friends and couples since I don't find it very family friendly unless of course you sit upstairs where you will get a great view of Burgos circle surroundings and it is a smoke free area but you do feel a bit isolated when eating up there. Their food choices are average and not very interesting just what I would consider a good normal meal nothing out of the ordinary.
The feel of the restaurant is very homey and the service is good. The food is also good.
