Best beer in town! Friendly crew!
This place has great drinks, awesome food, and most of all, wonderful staff! This place is highly recommended for anyone looking for a great night out in BGC! The ribs are to die for, and the howling wolf is a must for all brave souls out there. Certainly a must for any serious drinker and food lover exploring the nightlife of BGC. Special shout out to the awesome staff Shelley, Rain, Rubi, and Lovely for going the extra mile to meet customer satisfacion.
Great place for a mid-week chill out with friends. Will go back for the caramel beer barrel.

Kudos to Ate Shelly!!! Keeps everyone hyped!!
Service 10/10 - all attentive staff. shelly complted our drinks in swifly manner
We love Shelly, our ever generous and reliable Rue staff. This is the default place to hang every TH/FRI nights. Go visit when you are in town and experience great service and good flavored beers. xoxo
I like the flavoured drinks and the food. The best!
Good ambiance. Great people
The staff is as fun, loveable and accommodating as they come. Have one night of fun with them and you'll always come back for more. They make you meet people you wont expect on your daily life. Your happiness is their priority. They remember you and will have fun with you.
My friends and I had dinner at Rue Bourbon. We ordered the Juicy Ribs and their famous Caramel Beer. I don't drink beer but this is a must try. I honestly like the taste. The ribs are also good. We got the double size and it's good for 2-3 persons. We went there on a Sunday night around 6pm. The server was so attentive and accommodating as we were the only customers at that time.
Have you recently changed your staff ? I waited for 15 min to give my order and then finally I walked to the counter to give my order, later same thing ... I waved 10 times and around 4 people walked right in front of me just looking outside (yellow cab side) . Finally manager ( i guess) noticed me from inside and then he came for the order.
This place is my all time favorite and my Friday night destination but if you are gonna keep the same waiters with similar service then .....
For those who read my review just in case .. this place is awesome, good options of drinks .. good music .. good vibe... enjoy !!!
I love their big mug of beer. The drinks were really cheap!!!! And the vibe was so good. You can ask the crew to put your beer into a big mug. Like a 1 litre mug. Its really amazing. Its instagrammable. You can smoke on top. You should also try their margarita. It costs around 250-300. Its worth it! I would definitely go here again. You can also try their thin crust pizza and their nachos.
Food is good, well i recommend the caramel beer it taste really good than the normal beer 🤩🤩🤩 service is 👍👍 supposed to go in Reserve Gastro Tavern but transferred here due their poor service.
The place is good and for me their draft beer is the best. I always come for beer, friendly bartenders. They just need some sort of entertainment like maybe a singer just to entertain the crowd. It's awkward to come alone
Wide selection of drinks, but the place is too cramped. I liked how they provide different sizes of beers -- great for those who would like to taste the flavor first before splurging :)
The place is kinda crowded but that doesn’t mean they can’t offer good drinks and good food. It was my first time tasting a caramel beer and I tell you, I’d definitely go back for more. Not to mention their fries! We got so addicted to it we ordered 6 lol. We couldn’t get enough. Some of my friends also tried out their Salted Caramel Shot and Mojito. I loved the glitters also.
Had a caramel beer with friends here. Vibe was chill and music was cool too. I will try to go back and maybe order a few more. But overall, short stay was great.
This bar was nice! It reminded me of the bars back in the USA. Its a classic dive bar small, loud, dark, people standing and talking, just have a good time. I understand if the many filipinos cant relate. Anyways, beer was cold and food was on point.
live it here! super friendly people! and its my favourite place to celebrate 🎉 my birthday every year (3 years) in a row wohooooo . my friends love it here super cool place! and the food 🥘 bam💥
Food / Quality - 4 out of 5
Service - 4 out of 5
Place - 4 out of 5
Value for Money / Price - 4 out of 5
A good place to chill out with friends. Try their flavored beer. Usually we ordered nachos, tequilla and beers :)
Price is acceptable.
I love their caramel beer and lychee beer. If you want to save up and drink a lot, go for the pitcher rather than individual mugs. Place is perfect for a chill night out with friends. Place is a bit dark but it's ok coz it's a bar, kinda narrow. Tried their colorful nachos and it was good. One of the best nachos I have ever tasted.
So where do I start haha. The music there is good and also the ambiance. It is where people come to just chill and drink their own favorite drinks. Their top pick is the Caramel Beer a must try because it is really balance and has a great taste. I hope you guys can also go here also you either can reserve a seat or walk-in but I think reserving a seat is better haha.

The first Rue Bourbon I visited in my entire life, thanks to my friend who introduced me to their Big Ass Caramel Beer. Happy memories were built in this place, especially in its porch-type facade. However, the place could accommodate more guest if they can expand the area. I believe they can still cater guests if they have a larger space for everyone. Hence, you better book a table if you will be going with friends on weekends because this place is surely jam-packed. Nevertheless, the service is great as the crew will accommodate you along the way and with a smile. :)
Their Caramel Beer was like an exaggerated Butterbeer, though. Had a Pre-Christmas nightout and catch-up with a former colleague here. Music choice is a plus.
The best flavored beer I have tried! Go for the Big Ass and choose Lychee. Their Sisig Nachos is also a must-try (but they could add a bit more cheese, in my opinion).
Whenever I want a big ass beer, I'd go here! Caramel beer it is for me!
Plus you can't go wrong with their nachos, calamari and cajun fries! Serving for sharing!
Who needs a spacious place if you're having that big ass beer straight from the bar?!!
Good food. Good drinks. Cool place! Very accomodating staffs. Ej, chard , howell and the three recept. Sorry I dont know their names. 😂✌🏻Nice place to hangout. Kuddos! Chao. 👌🏻
Me and my friends loves to hangout. And Rue Bourboun bgc branch is the best place to go to. We've tried their caramel beer and i think it's to die for. And also their crew is very accommodating especially howell rasca. Thank you for attending our needs.
I have always loved Rue Bourbon. The first branch I got to dine in is the one in Eastwood. I live in Pasay and I used to go all the way to Libis just to have drinks in Rue Bourbon--that was until I discovered their Salcedo branch, which I really really love because of their service. I have spent 2 anniversaries with my boyfriend (and all the monthsaries in between) + 2 of our birthdays and other celebratory occasions in Rue Salcedo.
So with the BGC branch....I got to try it here last Saturday because my cousins and I wanted a chill place to drink and since one of my cousins work there, she knew exactly where this branch is.
When we arrived, we were seated outside, (at the "smoking" area) because we opted to sit there. There was only a table of 2 that was occupied that time (+ our table, of course) Service was okay, nothing really special/commendable. The staff aren't /that/ accommodating although they served our drinks relatively fast. However when we got the bill, it took some time. Also, when we paid, they didn't return the change anymore (I think they forgot it or smth) but then it started raining cats and dogs so we decided to stay for round two.....same goes the service. Although this time, the server (guy) that tended to our table was more accommodating. BUT THEN when one of my cousins decided to skip round two and ask for a glass of water, the water never arrived.
By the time we left, all of the tables were occupied already since the rain was pouring really hard.
Thanks to the manager for accommodating us, despite us coming a few minutes late. Special mention to their trainee, Alma. Great job!! Thank you!! 🙏🏼
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 best service, best food and best drinks! favorite is the gun powder shot and of course the caramel beer!!! 👍😀👍😀❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Went here after dinner. The service was okay. The music was good. Place was nice and can accommodate big groups. The beers were... great. 👌🏻
You will never go wrong with Rue Bourbon's famous caramel beer. I suggest you call for reservations during weekend nights because it's hard to get a table. You can stay at the bar area though if you are desperate to try the caramel beer.
TIP:
Get the giant mug! That's 1 liter of booze goodness!
Rue is my go to bar because of their classic caramel beer. Yumm!!! Tried their chili fries and watermelon beer as well and both were delicious. My balikbayan cousins enjoyed their time here making us stop by for 2 nights straight. If you wanna make your night extra memorable, you should definitely try their lick shot! lol
Oh, and their staff are super friendly and gv!! They're up for anything Apir!
Their staff are very friendly, however what I don't like about their place is I guess since the place is too small it really does look so crowded and make it so hard to move. Still their caramel beer is FTW
The staffers are friendly and accommodating. The branch gets really busy so there are times you'll need to make the extra effort to call their attention, which is still totally fine.
Calamari N' Fries is a nearly excellent appetizer. They both taste good with the Cajun Aoili dip but the calamari's coating falls apart easily.
Crispy Smoked Bacon Fries are good too. You might find the potato skins a lot smaller than the fries but they're interesting enough to try.
Caramel Beer is the best and most memorable part of the dining experience. Firstly, it's not something you bump into often. Secondly, it's sweet enough for you not to notice the usual bitter beer flavor. Third, the mug is enormous! One order is more than enough to get one person through the night with shared appetizers and fun conversations.
One of my "default" places to go to here in BGC. I always recommend it to my friends, great place to chill, celebrate, and to experience good food too.
You should try their Seafood Bayou and Sisig Nachos. Very flavorful and big servings! Previously I had the chance to try their pastas, and surprisingly it tasted great. I'm just not sure if they still serve it now. Cocktails are also good, and their flavored beers are their trademark I guess.
One of the things I still get excited about this pub is trying their flaming shots, gets us all thrilled every single time, it's like their putting up a show whenever they start lighting up the liquor right on top of your table. I tried Gun powder and a couple more (I just forgot their names).
Price is very reasonable. I just wish they had a bigger area because they often run-out of seats especially on the weekends. The place also gets crowded at times, and serving time takes quite long sometimes but it's worth the wait. More cheers to Rue Borbon!
After party at the Palace, me and a friend decided to check out Rue Bourbon. We were curious about their flavored draft beer. I personally enjoyed the beer and their steaks!!! Love the bar top! But the space is small so I am hoping to check out their other branches.
If I could die
For eating too much of their sisig nachos,
For drinking too much of the caramel beer,
I'd be smiling in my coffin.

Good place for good times.
Harvey Angelo Chua 苏厚有 great place to chill out and hangout with friends. the food are great and the drinks are awesome. not to mention the place have a good vibes on it.
Visited there on Christmas night and since I was going solo I was asked to sit at the bar which was fair. I had their flavored beers - caramel and toasted almond and ordered for the bacon potato fries.
Since I was at the bar, the beer came almost instantly and food took a little longer but I was reading a book so it didn't matter. The potato fries were more like chips with lots of bacon in it and with a tangy dip in the side and a fried egg op top. The chips were nice and crisp and the bacon was cooked medium so it was nice and chewy. I really enjoyed the chips and it would have been great to share it with someone. The beers were slightly sweet and I saw that it got its taste from some syrup that was added which was a slight let down but it still tasted great.
The three beers and chips was about 730 PHP in total which I thought was fine. I would visit again for the syrupy beer and try more items on their menu.
9pm on a Saturday night and the place was already packed! We waited for like, 15mins till we get seated. The interiors will give you a feel of those Western pubs, mixed with modern architecture. Just right to set your mood for a good amount of beer. I find the ceiling a bit low, though. Makes me feel a little bit crowded. Besides its great ambiance and good location, it was Rue Bourbon’s menu which made my visit unforgettable. For every dish, it provides large serving at a very affordable price. Rue Bourbon is known for their flavored beer which comes in a glass and huge ass mug. They also play good music which was great. For the early hours they play songs among the billboard top hits, while late in the evening they play great electronic dance music. The crowd is full of pretty young professionals.

Beer is an alcoholic beverage produced by the saccharification of starch and fermentation of the resulting sugar.
Source: Wikipedia
Why do people drink alcohol? This can be traced back to our ancestors. The human consumption of alcohol originates from frugivory (consumption of fruits). Fermentation of sugars by yeast naturally present in overripe and decaying fruits produces Ethanol which in turn intoxicates birds and mammals.
A little Science lesson for the kids. If you want to get a massive headache, read Darwin's Book - On The Origin Of Species.
I aint gonna preach about Darwin, do not worry. The succeeding statements will be a review of sorts for Rue Bourbon.
I drank a lot of Ethanol in my lifetime. What i realized is that as you age, you tend to forgo your fondness of beer and you start to appreciate the distinct flavors of Cognac and Single Malt Whiskey. My fascination with the craft/flavoured beer started with Rue Bourbon. I rarely drink beer because i hate the bitter aftertaste, that is why I got really giddy when i tried Rue's Apple Flavoured Beer. No bitter aftertaste, subtle sweetness of the apple and comes in a big-ass mug.
I usually hang at Rue during off-peak days and hours. I like drinking a mug or two after a long day at work. I usually pair my beer with Cajun Fries. The fries is nothing special, think of an overpriced french fries from fast food joined drizzled with some flavoured powder.
If you wanna avoid the helter-skelter at Rue, it is best to come in around 5-ish. I am ancient, i cant stand house music at extreme decibel levels. Rue is the best starting point if you want to be accustomed with tbe distinct flavours of craft beer.
Rue Bourbon is a place to be when you are seeking for a good place to chill and eat pleasurable food. Yes the food and drinks are pricey but with the quality and taste, it's worth it. We ordered the following:
1. Rue Bourbon Wings (290) - the chicken parts are quite big compared to other buffalo wings of other restaurants. The unique flavors are present and you will not regret ordering this one.
2. Rue Bourbon BBQ (260) - The pork is very tender bursting with sweet barbeque sauce and herbs. The side dishes taste good too. The flavor of herbs and spices are very evident which I loved. The large cut of fries spinkled with herb flavor makes it unique from common fries we used to eat from fast food.
3. Glass of caramel beer (140) - The aroma of caramel is the first thing that you will notice. The beer has a bite of sweetness but it still has the bitter aftertaste of beer. A unique drink for those who have sweet tooth.
4. Glass of watermelon wheat beer (140) - The taste of beer combined with watermelon flavor is a little bit weird at first but I learned to love it after a couple of sip. The taste of beer is still there but their is a bite of swetness every time you drink it. This drink is refreshing.
The place has a relaxing dim vibe. The crew attentive of their guests. The seats are quite limited but you can choose to sit either indoor or outdoor. Overall it was a nice chill out place on weekends.
My friend and I have been here two times and both have been good experiences. We noticed that even on weekdays, they tend to get filled up 11! My friend and I really enjoyed the music which consisted of chart hits, rnb, hip hop, throwbacks and pop. However, I must point out that the second time my friend and I went, some male foreigners would try to make moves and clearly had one too many drinks. So girls in particular, be mindful. But really bad cases are taken care of by the staff.
First Visit:
On the first time we came here we ordered 2 "big ass" caramel beers, calamari and fries, nachos, chicken skin and zombie cocktail. The caramel beers were quite nice despite my friend and I not being huge fans of beer. The calamari and fries were nice and crispy and so were the chicken skins. The Nachos were ok but they were a bit too heavy we later realised because of the toppings. The zombie was ok and stronger than I expected but I don't think it was worth P250 as I have tasted better for less. The store manager is very friendly and we even received a shot on the house of the barman's own concoction from the manager. Overall, service was very friendly and we had an enjoyable experience.
Second visit:
This time we order gunpowder which is a mix of rum and sambuca. which is lit on fire. While on fire, cinnamon is added which produces a huge flame. As the flame calms down, a pint glass hovers around it to trap the smoke and a tissue is placed to trap the smoke. You quickly suck the drink which is then followed by piercing the tissue and sucking from the pint glass. It was the first time we tried it and it was very impressive. However, it is quite warm afterwards so make sure to have a cold drink after this! We then order a margarita and daiquiri each and they both tasted pretty average. Again service was good. We stayed till it closed which was just after 2am.
I find their famous caramel beer WAY TOO TASTY. Location is a cool place to chill. Luckily we sat on the outside part. I swear i'll die with claustrophobia. Haha kidding. The food took way 1 hr too long to have it handed to us... Not bad for a 4.0 rating.
For our family dinner, my cousin decided we dine here. To be honest, it was a little weird to be with your family in a restau bar since it was really meant for friends to grab dinner and some beer before heading out to party all night. Nevertheless, the staff were accommodating and we enjoyed the food.
We ordered their platter of ribs and a white cheese pizza. The side dishes were really good but the ribs itself doesn't taste quite right for me though. But I really liked their pizza!!
I haven't tried all the famous delicacy that they have but the caramel beer is one the finest beer i ever tasted. My friend also told me that their pizza is great. Maybe on my next visit in another location ill try the famous pizza you offer.
Cozy atmosphere yet small space. Food is great. Buffalo Fingers taste like blue cheese haha. Calamari and fries is good. Juicy Ribs is tender and tasty. Pan Seared Cream Dory is kinda salty. Meat Overload Pizza tastes ordinary, nothing new.
Awesome music, nice drinks and electrifying ambience.; if you are lucky on Friday night to get a seat, you will get to witness it.
You must visit.

Been in this place a few times already.
The place is usually crowded. They have a small place so you have to line outside and wait until there is a vacant table or unless it is OK with you to stand while drinking.
What I love about them are the flavored beers! Especially the caramel beer, my favorite.
Will definitely come back but will try the new branch which is located in BF Homes, Paranaque.
The place is always jump packed. And i find the area so small that i feel claustrophobic and lots of foreigner too makes me gooo bleedinggg! Charot. I love their caramel beer though and their nachos. Quite affordable but i rather stay at my bestfriends condo and buy beer at 7eleven. Hehe
I love to think that every single dish has a unique story/history to it. I like how it presents itself as a delicious narrative. Every single bite is a chapter that drives us to eat the whole book.
@ruebourbon_mnl astonishes us with this Spanish cuisine legacy written in post colonial flavors. Its tenderness represents a part of history that can only be told when savored and enjoyed.
I can tell you this: I may want to read it again how succulent and flavorful our past had been.
Perfect place for a night out with your friends! From Caramel Beer, cocktails and their signature shooters, you'll want to come back and enjoy a drink or two(or more).
Had a great time with friends here. Caramel beer and other flavored beers on the list are for not so hard drinkers. They serve great food 👍🏻👌 Though at night, you just have to hardly deal with smokers 😅😅
Paulaner for 250php? Very much expensive and unacceptable.....................................................................................
We're about 15 when we arrived here, and I must say all of the staff we're all accommodating. Whenever we need their assistance, their always around. Their Bourbon baby back ribs is awesome! It's tender! You can pair the ribs with their rice or their fries.

As I am not a liquor enthusiast, my review will only cover the food I ordered here. I dined here with my in-laws when we took advantage of a credit card promo. The barbecued ribs I ordered was very tender and flavorful but a little too sweet for my taste. It was a very big serving and could have been split by two people.
Great place for friends! The waiters know the regulars and they would greet them. Different drinks for different kinds of drinkers. Nachos in Rue is perfect too.
My 20-year non-alcoholic streak was broken here. My friends decided to get drinks and ended up here first.
I ordered a Shirley Temple, something non-alcoholic, as per usual, and they all got Big Ass Caramel Beers. Compared to them, my drink was pretty much lame. After a while, curiosity got the better of me, and I had my very first sip of alcohol! I always thought beer was weird because of its smell but the one I tasted was surprisingly yummy. I ended up downing one of my friends' mugs 🙊
The place is really crowded on Saturdays and the decibel of voices and music keep competing for the highest rate as the night goes on. It's good for squad hangouts and upbeat nights.
Despite the crowd and the very limited place, the staff try to have seats for everyone, even for walk-in customers. They also try their best to cater to your every whim (like the request for a random Spice Girls song that your friend wants to sing and dance to because she's having one of her moments).
Definitely one of the most decent, alluring, sophisticated place I've visited. From their big ass beers to savorous pulutan (which they serve on a huge platter) you have nothing to complain. I've been told that their best seller is the Caramel flavored beer but for me, I'd much prefer their Hazelnut one. Hazelnut's really sweet much to my own liking wherein the caramel one has still a residual taste of a draft beer.
I always drink my beer with meals. And I love the food that Rue has got in store for its patrons. Laid back place where you and friends can enjoy your drinks without having to yell above the music.
Update: their flavored beers are great! For only P270 for the big ass glass you can choose from a variety of flavors. We had cucumber (healthy appeal), toasted almond (love the smell) and caramel (sweet--one for the ladies)
Amongst all the Rue Bourbon branches, I like the one at the Sky Ranch best. I spent one birthday there and it turned out to be so much fun. This branch at BGC is smaller and gets packed faster with all the yuppies trying to unwind after probably a tiring work week. Place can be so loud you may have to talk louder if youre with friends. Before I stopped eating pork and select seafood, I remember ordering their ribs and seafood platter. We also had their salad, grilled chicken, nachos, carbonara and hornets burger. My cousin tried their famous caramel butter beer. Cool place, good food.
I wasnt able to take a photo of the other food that we ordered and I actually couldnt remember what we ordered but I know that Rue Bourbon has the best tasting nachos and caramel beer. We also had sisig and calamares, and also buffalo wings. They just tasted good. Everything.
A top favorite hangout place with my friends. I think ive visited all the branches already. Thats how much i love it. Im not a big fan of beer but i like their Big Ass Caramel Beer because its not too strong for me. Aside from this, i also love their nachos (whichever of the 3 kinds), the bourbon wings, and the ribs - sweet and savory.
Rue Bourbon is what you may call a legitimate Gastro Pub. The food is not just sustenance to go with your craft beer but complimentary. In fact, you can never enjoy your craft beer in this place without trying at least one of their dishes to go with your drinks. I am a person who seldom eats when I drink but Rue Bourbon is the one place I will break that rule. Of course the grand finale is the refreshing interior aesthetics and comfort of Burgos Circle and BGC. Try the Seafood Bayou or Shrimp n' Baby Squid and pair with Caramel Beer!
Been here a few times after work, good staff and frankly good food. The old skool mix of BLUES, is a nice background for me. Baby back ribs tops the menu, with the siracha sauce. Unlimited fries or rice helps after the meal while you wait for the rain to stop:)
Rue Bourbon does not only serve famous flavored beer but also caters a great array of dishes which I personally recommend. The baby back ribs is so good with Cajun sauce. Perfect with their unlimited fries or rice. The ribs is good for 2-3 persons at 499. What a great value. The prawn pasta is one of my favorite pastas of all time. Promise, you will like it as well. Their sisig nachos is a must try for your next barkada session here. Although the place is not that spacious, this is compensated by their great customer service. Thumbs up!!!
The best draft beer I've tried in my entire existence... So far! Went here with a bunch of my closest work friends and I'm glad I went.
First time I went here was a weekday and looks like noone was paying attention to what music was playing which annoyed me. But the second time was with my BF and it was a saturday so I guess that's why they improve it.
Loved the Caramel Beer and meatlovers pizza, just wished it wasn't that thin.
Big-ass flavored beers. Good crowd. Nice ambiance. Laid-back place to chill at with friends for a few big-asses after a day of hard work. Place gets really noisy (very loud music so you might need to talk in very loud voices), and really packed, but who cares? You're there for the big-ass anyway. Always packed, even on week nights. Get drunk at your own risk.
Limited space.
Setting is cute, but with it's limited space it's not recommended for people with claustrophobia. It's nearly impossible to squeeze your way through if you need to get to the WC, but the drinks are good. (Paradox)
Crowd here are mostly yuppies during weekends, and does tend to get noisy. So if you as looking for a place to stretch out and enjoy your fave liquor I suggest to go somewhere else.

Perfect for that after-work chill drinking. Awesome grub which faintly reminds me of New Orleans. A must-try is their Big Ass Beers. For those non-beer drinkers like me, their Apple Beer is a decadent introduction to beer drinking.
Love the ambiance, so chill and a great place to hang out with friends and colleagues after work. I love their Big Ass Caramel Beer! Will try the Cucumber Beer the nex
Perfect spot in Forbeswood Heights to just chill and have a glass of wine! Its definitely worth visiting! You can choose a variety of wine. Many of which tastes exquisite as well.
