Pan seared duck and also the duck confit were tender and had a clean taste. Lamb was good as well. We ordered Puff Omelette to see what it’s all about and it was ok. The place is a little pricier but it’s worth it. You can taste the good quality of the food. Service was nice and friendly. Overall it was a very good dining experience.
Ambience was very classy and nice. Waiters were friendly and approchable as well. Pork filet mignon was delicious and worth every price. Puff omelette with salmon and sauteed potatoes was OK but nothing special but the salmon was fresh andun melts in your mouth. For Zomato gold, everything in menu except drinks. You can only use one Zomato gold for 1-3 customers.

It was my fourth time to eat here. We ordered goat cheese and arugula salad and fried camembert for starter, spicy tomato pasta, pan seared tenderloin and pan seared duck for main and dulce de leche cream puff for dessert. I love the dessert! I will eat again here just for the dessert. The pastry was crunchy and the dulce de leche was delicious. Other dishes were good except for the duck which was a bit chewy.
We looked for a french restaurant for our Anniv dinner and we found La Mere. The braised lamb was so tender. The beef tenderloin was full of flavor. The ratatouille was huge! We will definitely come back to try their other dishes.
Upon entering the place, I really loved its interior. I’ve been passing by this restaurant for a while but finally my family got to try it.
We ordered salad for my dad and then tried the Omelette Soufflé with Chicken and Ratatouille as well as the filet mignon. The servings were good, the meat in the salad was sufficient and I was surprised that the filet mignon was served into bite-sized pieces that was easier to share with my family. What really amused me was at how big the soufflé was. I didn’t expect it to be that big and also flavorful. I really enjoyed the lunch that I had in this restaurant. Will definitely return and try the other dishes
Food was perfectly seasoned! Pasta was creamy and al dente, and the tenderloin was a unique but yummy twist to the usual preparation of steak (mashed potatoes were good as well). The omelette was so big and fluffy, so it’s probably best to share it between two people, but it still delicious nonetheless. The staff were also very friendly :)
The staff is really nice. We waited for a friend for more than an hour but they didn't mind. Later on, they didn't rush us also when we were not done talking even though they were cleaning up already. We really appreciated their understanding. Food is good also!

For starters, we've had Bread Basket for 100 pesos. It comes with butter. I wish they also add some jams with it. We tried to request for olive oil and balsamic vinegar for the baguette but the server said, they do not serve those to customers.
My order was Seafood Cocotte with Seasonal Vegetables. The seafood in the dish was salmon, scallops and a white fish (a cod, maybe). I love the broth of this dish. It really has the taste of shrimp and crab. Salmon was cooked perfectly. White fish is flaky and fresh. Scallop is cooked in the right temperature. But the downside of this dish are the veggies. It wasn't fresh, because you'll know if a cabbage was pre-julliened because there are blackish marks on the edges.
My fiancé's was Braised Lamb a la Navarin with Mashed Potatoes. We've really enjoyed this dish. Lamb was tender and flavorful. It also doesn't have a bad after taste. Mashed potatoes is smooth.

Interior's beautiful, so beautiful I felt a little bit intimidated to enter at first, but when we saw the menu at the entrance, we were pretty sure to try their food. It seemed their menu was for fine-dining yet the vibe was casual and classy.
FOOD
Pan Seared Salmon with Calamansi and Brown Butter with Steam Rice was really lovely and the salmon was packed with flavor. Asparagus was a great partner, being fresh and crunchy. Chicken A La Chasseur with Mashed Potatoes had really tender meat and finely mashed potatoes.
SERVICE
They provided an instructional aide for their Zomato Gold policy, which saved time for everyone. As soon as we were done with each dish, they were pulled out pretty quickly. Apparently, you must order something or melt in your seat not ordering while having your conversations. Fortunately, we were already full and billed out. Wait time was fair for just about everything.
We went to eat dinner here after hearing mass. We had the pan seared salmon and beef caldereta. The caldereta is good for sharing but the salmon is not, both dishes were cooked perfectly and was served within 15 minutes. The beef was soft and tasty, and the vegetables was fresh, the sauce also tasted great. The salmon was presented nicely, and cooked just right. The staff were very nice and attentive. The place itself is very clean and nice, and they have a nice restroom too. I wouldn't mind coming back here again.
It's definitely worth it to use your Zomato gold here. Their omelette, one of their best sellers, is as good as people say. I was able to try omelette with smoked salmon, truffle pasta, pork mignon and linguine bolognese. Our family would go back to try their other pastas and main courses.

Price is a bit on the high side. You may be surprised with the serving size for the price point. Maybe this is how french meals are portioned?
Ambiance is definitely class. The waiters were attentive. Impressed with our server because he knew the ingredients in the tataki beef. Food arrived really quickly.
Started with the truffle pasta and it did not disappointment. Will definitely order this again and again. Down side - bitin saming dalawa! Yun lang :) i wish they had a for sharing size.
Soon after, our fluffy on the outside and frothy on the inside with shrimp arrived. I think La mere poulard is known for the fluffy eggs. I tried the egg first on its own and i was a bit disappointed. “Ah yun na yun”. But combining the shrimp with the ratatouille and the egg definitely gave it a better taste.
As we devoured the egg, soon our third meal, A simple plated- 3 slices of medium well beef tenderloin tataki with mashed potato came. Definitely appetizing to the eyes. From the looks, the doneness of the meat was cooked right - no blood or whatsoever.
The subtleness of the mashed potatoes complemented the bursting flavors of the beef. The meat was not rubbery nor hard. Malambot! Lahat ng laman ng plato namin nasimot!
We came out of the resto really happy. Glad we tried this resto. Something different from the usual restos we eat at. Definitely will recommend for special occassions.
We eat here almost regularly because the food is exquisite and the service is of a high standard.

Absolutely attentive waitstaff. I went here with a gaping stomach but opted for the Tiger Prawn Linguini instead of the pillow-like servings of omelette they are known for. The indulgent creamy ocean flavor satisfyingly made up for its minimal serving.
One of Manila's best French restaurant! Food is on point and did I say moreish? I was a little bit sad when they cannot replace rice with mash on their Beef Bourgignon ala Caldereta, but no biggies as I enjoyed the food so much! Had Green Beans salad with anchovy dressing and it was divine! The puff omelette that pretty resembled liked a soufflé is light and lovely. The ambience is pleasant and we will definitely be back!

Came here on Bastille day. Most of their items are on 50 % off. So we got pork filet mignon,cheese and potato omelette,and truffle pasta. Everything was sooo good.Tho I was expecting for the soufflé omelette to be more cheesy. The truffle pasta blew my mind. Texture is al dente, the sauce was boom. My girlfriend and I were blown away by the filet mignon.It’s fork-tender(no need for a knife) and it melts in the mouth.We can’t stop talking ‘bout its gastronomical goodness on our way home lol. Everything we ordered were on 50% off so we saved like 500php but even if it weren’t,it’s still a bang for the bucks.Plus points la vie en rose played.It’s like we were transported to “love me if you dare” setting.😍😆 Even took home their famous butter short bread(Kris Aquino reference) and my God, she not lyin’. We ordered the beef caldereta - the beef was really tender and the flavour gave us a homey feel. The seafood cocotte - the salmon and cod were so soft that they gave us the illusion that they were melting inside our mouths, and creaminess of the sauce was just right. Went to mont saint michel in France but didn’t bother to go eat at og branch— (40€ for an omelette?!) prices in sm aura branch are much more palatable (and combined with zomato gold? Outright bargain, relatively!) food was good, ambience was good, And served like i truly was in a fine dining restaurant. however for an indoor dining restaurant, i was bothered by the fact that mosquitos kept biting me while seated inside the restaurant.
I love that everything on the menu is included in the 1+1. Serving size is just about right. French cuisine made a bit more affordable for food enthusiasts. I will be back for the fillet mignon & duck confit.
Ambience is super 5!! The vibe is hotel-like!! Everything is 5-stars like, just perfect especially if you want pleasant, quite, relaxed dining. Food is awesome!!! Of course, you need to taste the omelettes!! But the rissoto is just perfect too!! Pasta and maybe evrything else are just remarkable. Loved the shrimp+salmon salad!!! Winner!! Seafood pasta is likewise divine. 😂 Staff are very attentive, professional, remarkably well-trained. Now our fave restaurant!! 👍🏻

We visit La Mère Poulard last wednesday. At first, we are attracted to try their Puffy omellete but due to health condition ( allergic to eggs ). We decided to try their Main dishes.
I ordered the pan seared tenderloin and my boyfriend ordered pan seared salamon. The tenderloin is so good it suits my tastebud together with its recommended sauce and also the mashed potato is good. But the salmon taste a little bit lack of seasoning but it doesn’t too slimy smell. it is still good.
The downside of it is that the portion of the food is too small for the price. Still giving a four star because of the service and the ambiance of the place 😊

I used my zomato gold here and got one free dish. The ambience is really good. I think that their popular dish is puffed omelette but I did not try it. Tried seafood pasta and pork fillet mignon and it was good. The mashed potato was creamy and delicious, too. Will definitely coming back.
I indeed enjoyed a refreshing and very tasty light lunch. The place is very chic and clean. Much attention has been paid by the owners to interior design and selection of tables and eating utensils. Music is relative to the french historical era. Service was very swift and attentive. The famous Mere Poulard Omelette is the main attraction on the menu but there is much more options. House made honey ice cream is so much yummy. I can speak for authenticity as I'm a fan of French cuisine,I got what i pay for. Excellent venue for a relaxing lunch in busy Metro Manila. Will be back with my friends.
Our dining experience at La Mère Poulard was great. The food was exceptional especially the risotto with foie gras. Plus the braised lamb is very tender and tasty. I would also like to commend the great service the staff provided.
Food was excellent- the sea bass was perfectly cooked, truffle pasta al dente, mushroom soup was light. Service was great as well with the server asking if we wanted milk with the coffee, and helping us use Zomato!
Second time eating here. Food was good and of good quality. The omelette was fluffy and it tasted really well together with the prawns. The lamb was good too - tender and really tasty. Will come back again.

Decided to try this restaurant for my birthday.
Smoked Salmon and Potatoes - First time to try the fluffy omelettes that they offer. The omelette's texture was really foamy but the taste is rich. It compliments well with smoked salmon (not a fan of rare seafood but this is an exception).
Pan seared beef tenderloin - nicely seasoned, juicy and tender. A bit more rare for my taste. (requested for medium rare). Mash potato is okay, could use a little bit more seasoning.
Roasted Chicken and mushroom Normandy Rice - nice roasted chicken, Normandy rice is rich and creamy.
Salted Dark chocolate tart - the cream on top blends perfectly with the saltiness of the cake. Must try after your meal.
Thanks to Zomato Gold we were able to grab two 1+1s.
I have never tried scallop french omelet before and was quite intimidated by it but this place put my hesitation to rest! Casual french cuisine at the best price!

Everything we tried last night from the omelette, duck, pasta and steak was just delightful and mouth-watering that it was gone in seconds! La Mère Poulard's omelette soufflé was a feast in the eye and palate because of the skill and technique used to come up with its unique and exceptionally light and airy texture.
Plus: Pork filet mignon was very tender and well seasoned. Soy reduction reminiscent of teriyaki sauce.
The creme brûlée was stiff and creamy (I prefer my brûlée to be smooth and velvety though) and paired well with the Grand Marnier. Candied orange peel added good contrast.
Could do better: Serving size petite - you may need to have a 3 course meal to be full. Main courses were not hot anymore. Pan Seared beef tenderloin was tender but could use more seasoning. Mashed potatoes was very bland. Creamy chicken soup was hearty but can use more salt.
The omelette was a feel good food - tend to be a tad salty for my taste.
The rice was very creamy and feels heavy on the stomach.
Ambiance was great - kind of the higher end type. A French chef cooked the meals while you wait.
Great food. New additions to the menu. Salmon is one of the best value for money. The pork tenderloin is good. But the salmon is the Five star standard. Downside is there is no more free French bread.

You can never screw up your date if you decide to eat here. Let me tell you, La Mère Poulard is the fine dine experience too fine to miss! Get a great ambience and notice that the staff is well dressed. It helps with the whole experience! Talk about hitting it on the dot! Try watching the Disney film ratatouille before going to this place, cause you might find it on the menu! “SERVE ME THE PERSPECTIVE!”

Generally, it was fine. However, it's not a place that I would really keep coming back to. For one, I find a disconnect among the prices, quality of dishes, and serving sizes. I just feel that it might be too pricey for what it delivers.
We had the duck confit, seafood cocotte, and the fluffy omelette with bacon and potatoes.
The fluffy omelette was too foamy, though most people usually like it that way. It was seasoned well. You can taste the kick of oil and salt at the same time. The bacon was cut thickly, which was a bit salty with just a hint of sweetness. Potatoes were cooked perfectly, though lacked seasoning.
The duck confit was cooked well, though there were some parts that were a bit dry. It was also seasoned well with salt and pepper. Potatoes were cooked greatly here, as if they were baked and not sautéed; they were perfectly seasoned as well. They were tasty. The mushrooms complimented the dish well; they were used to create authentic mushroom gravy sauce.
The seafood cocotte was my friend's order. She enjoyed it, although for her, the serving of the scallop was too small. It was just one small piece. Taste-wise, you can definitely taste the seafood stock/flavor that was used alongside with the kick of buttery goodness. Seafoods were cooked well too.
It was an okay experience. Service was great.
My husband is always curious about their puff omelette since the beginning. It’s like their signature. Come here for tea break and we order chocolate and hazelnut sauce puff omelette. It’s so fluffy and puffy. I never know that egg will match with chocolate until I eat this. Price worthy? Yes it’s rather expensive, but I bet you can’t find a similar dish in entire Philippines.
The ambiance was very nice. Place was very clean. Selection and choices of food was extensive. Excited for the food, specially the scallops and the foie gras because not q lot of restaurants serve this.
Mère Poulard has lots of ambience, glamorous photos, and is clearly attached to its northern French cuisine of origin. I really wanted to try their souffléd eggs and got to do this some week back, together with their leek salad as a starter, and some coffee at the end.
Now that I've seen how it hews quite closely to its heritage, I'd like to see this restaurant deviate from script sometimes, since the ingredients are there, as well as the flavors.
The restaurant doesn't highlight its beautiful wines enough and probably should.
Very fresh ingredients and quality taste. Portions are okay and prices are a bit on the high side, but the food is good, so it's a good place to go to once in a while or during special occasions.
Love the food and the service ! Didn’t get to go to the original at Mont Saint-Michel because of the long queues . The French food + Filipino service must be a better version !
Wonderful ambiance and presentation. Fluffy egg with the Ratatouille. My favorites are the egg (which is perhaps the best I've ever had) and the butter served. The music is sensible with a feeling befitting authentic French cuisine. My only gripe is that the server wasn't well informed about the proper type of wine for the served food. Almost offered red wine instead of white for seafood. And the server seemed low on energy with slow and lackluster conversation skills.

We ordered the bacon and potato omelette, kaldereta burgundy and chicken and mushroom pasta. Everything was good though found the food a bit too creamy towards the end. Service was great! Tip: add extra cheese for the omelette :)
My favorite place in BGC..I love the risotto and omelettes. Very cozy place and excellent service.The desserts are fabulous. Salads are also very refreshing.
