Cafe de Lipa showcases Filipino taste and coffee. They have a nice warm and cozy place with a lot of options for their customers how to dine - in a sofa that gives privacy, a typical table chair setting, or a long table for meetings.
They have traditional drinks alongside unique ones. I took their Filipino Latte and a Tablea Revel Bar. I do not know, but it makes my heart warm when they served the latte in a mug - makes me feel at home. On the taste side, it has nice thin milk foam and a heavy body with the right amount of bitterness and kick in it. The revel bar was nice, it is chocolaty, melts in the mouth and complements the Latte well - the bar tampers down the bitterness of the latte while the latte...pang alis umay.
A very unique place and very worth every peso paid, I hope to comeback and try other things in their menu,

Ordered princess jasmine loose leaf while waiting for my friends to come. This is a nice and quiet place to hang-out or do your work. Hindi siya ganon kalamig kaya kayang kaya magstay ng matagal hehe they also serve food. The keychain was really cool, kung coffee lover ako baka bumili na ako. Ang cool din nung lalagyan nila ng tea. Maliban sa nagmamadali ako, I didn’t actually know how to operate it kaya sabi ko itatake out ko na lang hehe

For coffee ☕, I really loved their House Specialties Filipino Latte (iced) and will definitely order this again for my next visit.
If you want a quick coffee break this is the place to be.
The place is cozy and relaxing. The staffs are very accommodating and nice.
We try their Alfredo Pasta and Lechon Kawali (all-day breakfast) .. Superb taste and the servings is worth the price.
A little suggestions though, a little improvement with their Menu list, it's just kinda photo copy papers with list of foods on it. A nice Menu I think will add a good impression to the place. 😊
Cafe de Lipa is one of the good place to go if you want to keep a calm and peaceful vibe. The interiors are quiet minimalist which addens the feeling of being at home inside. There's no wifi when I got there but still, a nice and cozy workplace for a while.

My go to cafe in this area of BGC.
I chanced upon this place when I passed on the near Starbucks because it was once again filled to the brim. I was looking for somewhere to relax and catch with up old friends and I was not disappointed.
Though it lacks that coffee aroma I think should be a feature of all great cafes, CDL makes up for it with comfy chairs (at least the sofa ones) and a spacious layout that really lends itself to conversations and musings. It's also a great place to bring a good book to or start writing in your planner / journal or debug your program code like the student who I saw there one time was doing.
The drink and food choices are limited but are sufficient to cover most of what you'd look for or need. I would prefer more tea and cheesecake choices but that's not really the reason you'll be staying long here.
I went here for the quiet but I keep coming back here for that experience of having a zone where you can enjoy just being and talking to your friends over good coffee.
Every two weeks I drop by this shop to buy ground coffee. I find the staff warm and friendly, the ambiance is so nice and lastly, they give SC discount for their ground coffee unlike the famous ones.

I am not a coffee lover so it is challenging for me to find a quiet cafe where I could peacefully write on my journals. This place is so cool! And the drinks? Not only that they are delicious — not too sweet nor bland — but are also served in a very tall glass. Now that’s living up to expectations for a cafe shop. Thank you guys for your cafe! We went to Market! Market! in search of a red velvet cheesecake because I was really craving for it at that time. We came across Cafe de Lipa and saw that they have what we were looking for. So we tried it and I was a bit disappointed because it is not a cheesecake and the taste was just okay. But they do have a nice looking cafe, and the ambiance was relaxing so we still enjoyed our stay there.

This is our go to coffee place when we’re around the area. They serve coffee as it should be. Love the creaminess of the Filipino latte and the right amount of bitterness of the flat white. I also like their dark chocolate cake. I’m not really into sweets so this is perfect. How I wish they open more branches.
They recently renovated but the smoking area smell reeks, leeching towards the main dining area. Although i love to recommend this lone Manila store of Cafe de Lipa, it would be best to try them out in Lipa. Coffee is good. Not as good as Toby's. Got a flat white to compare but would gladly give my business to a provincial brand even though theirs pales in comparison. The Tablea Brownie i got was too sweet, and not moist. It seems to be sitting too long in the display fridge. If you get the chance, buy some of their whole beans, the price is 50% cheaper than commercial brands. For the barako beans alone, go and give them a try. It's a nice pasalubong too for balikbayan friends.
Not recommended if you have kids around because of the cigarette smell. Sayang, perhaps they have the smoking crowd captured in the BGC area.
The place is not crowded as other coffee shop. Quite place to unwind while raining sipping coffee and eating blue berry cheesecake. The music is so relaxing.
This is my favorite place. This is very cozy and relaxing place to hang out with friends. I love the color arrangement of chairs and tables and also the lights that matches the relaxing and peaceful feeling inside the cafeteria. I highly rwcommend this place and even the coffee is very affordable. Kayang tapatan si Starbucks mas worth it pa. :) Even the baristas are very friendly. Kapag pupunta nga ako, alam na nila ang order ko. At sila pa mismo ang nag ooffer ng Wifi. :)
I enjoyed their Filipino Latte and their Pili Nut Brownies. This were my only order since we just stayed here for a short period of time. I wanna try the rest on their menu. So I will definitely go back!
Loved this place! The ambiance is much different from the Market Market noise (hehe peace!) I had their hot mocha and tablea revel bar. Their serving is generous to think that it only costs P120! Their revel bar, which costs P55, was not too sweet, just right for my cup of mocha. Every thing is perfect.
I am a coffee lover, and I always go for the best tasting brews. My maricons and I went here on a gloomy Friday night after dinner. We ordered their kapeng barako, signature hot choco and tablea choco. All three drinks were really good for a price cheaper than 3 grandes from known coffee brands! I love the barako. The tablea reminds me of my late grand aunt's champorado. The signature hot choco is a really sweet treat. Aside from the fact that they have a secluded smoking area, the place is yours (guess people are more into mas sikat na brand) and you can have a really cozy place on a Friday night. A real plus is their really clean restroom/washroom - you can drink and eat inside!
Will definitely hang out with my friends in this place again and again and again!

As I'm a big fan of local coffee shops I must try this brand.When I entered the placed were packed with people researching and studying.I ordered the salted caramel ice blended coffee,the drink was very good the flavors were well distributed and plus factor is that it's in right sweetness.
Staff are good.
Place I find it relaxing.even tho it was packed with people that time it's very conducive for reading and studying.
Price -thumbs !

This time though, I've noticed they've revamped the place and made it better. I looked really nice and classy, perfect for just chilling, hanging out with friends or going on a date.
The prices were a tad too steep but the menu is okay.
The service staff was very polite and courteous, and was always ready to be of service.

My friend recommended this cafe to me. I went there yesterday to do some work and research. Their coffee tastes great and their store is ideal for those looking for a quiet place. And best of all, they have FREE wifi (fast connection).

I love the ambiance of this place. It is some what relaxing. I ordered hot chocolate and it was good. I hope I can revisit this place and try other drinks they serve.
I've been here a couple of times when i was in college.. Making some paper works, meeting with a friend or just having alone time.. hehehe i always order their caramel cream since i liked how its not too sweet.. it's a small but nice place.. well maybe sometime i'll try their other drinks and pastries.. 😊
BEST ICED CARAMEL MACCHIATO EVER!
I used to frequent this place when I was still on training. I spent my nights studying or chatting with a friend while waiting for my dad to pick me up. Their Iced Caramel Macchiato has the perfect blend of coffee and caramel. It kept me awake all the time. It may have given me acid reflux attacks but it was worth it. If only I could still drink coffee now, I would definitely go back.
Cafe de lipa offers one of the best tasting coffee in BGC. It is a quiet place with limited seats. Plus a good internet connection. They don't use too much milk and sugar in their coffees that's why you'll really appreciate the taste of barako coffee from batangas.
I actually had my experience of Cafe de Lipa in Lipa, Batangas. I just have to write here because the one in Lipa is not listed here. Obviously it is a local coffee shop with an interior design of your favorite Starbucks or Coffee Bean. Kapeng Barako is their main attraction. Every Filipino knows how good it is. Very strong type of coffee but affordable. My only issue in its branch in Lipa is its location. It is located at Petron station inside the Batangas Hi-way. The only noise you can hear are from vehicles passing by or tanking up. Behind it is a sugarcane farm. They usually burn 'Tubo' so when you go there and stay, you might end up having that char smell. Overall, the product and their staff is really great. I wouldn't mind going to any of its branches again.

This is a local coffee shop that features our kapeng barako from Batangas. The ambiance is just like any other coffee shops, serene with the aroma of coffee as you enter the place. The staffs are welcoming. As I look into the menu, I noticed that their price is definitely cheaper than those famous coffee shops, but the taste was not compromised. The caramel macchiato is a little salty and sweet at the same time. It went well with my sansrival. The cakes have local flavors and comparable to the expensive brands. I suggest they try to be a little more experimental with the flavors of their coffee. The competition is tight in the coffee and pastry business, but I believe there is a future for our local products globally.
They don't call their coffee Happy for nothing. I tell everyone, even non-coffee drinkers to try it. It will sure give your mood a boost!
Me and my sister hang out here every weekend and enjoy their coffee and have a chat with their friendly crews.
