Bit pricey if you would say but the place is great, food is also great, malasa and it's okay for me. This is also my Mom's fave when it comes to their gyoza/u. All in all, it is a 4/5 for me
Very affordable but their ramen is not to die for. First, noodles were thick like spaghetti. Second, broth was flavorful but tasted instant. Third, plating was not that great, it was not appetizing.
Service was normal. Ambiance was just okay.
This place is recommended if you're looking for an affordable ramen to satisfy your cravings.
I would still prefer 400+ php ramens.
This is my favorite place to have dinner every time I'm wandering around Market Market. And I always ordered their tonkatsu set. Meat is good and the miso soup. Potato salad taste good as well. Definitely keep dining here.
Ramen is delicious, tried their chicken salad as well and was shocked on how it looks like. It looks like the chicken spread that my mom makes but still its delicious. My bestfriend ordered oyakodon and i tried some of it and it’s really good. We also orderd gyoza, of course its my favorite.
Nothing much to say other than great place, great service and great food. I do wish that the location was away from a crowded mall. It feels different to see a very good japanese restaurant inside a very cramped and dimmed mall.
This is their new place inside the mall.
A Japanese fastfood which is better than Tokyo Tokyo.
My hubby likes their Katsudon.
Their curry meal is good. I just wish there wasn't bellpeppers when they serve it.
Try lang ang tagal ko nang di nabuksan tong app na to. Hehe. Andaming tao sa Market Market ngayon pati mga kainan box office. Yung food court parang scene sa World War Z. Isa itong Moshi Koshi sa konti lang ang tao this day. Marahil kasi di to sing sikat ng mga katabi niya (Jollibee, KFC) pero masarap at sakto lang ang price if you have some money to spare. Ang inorder ko is Gyudon Classic. May tokwa at glass noodles na kasama yung manamis-namis na manipis na beef. May red ginger din as garnish. Overall okay siya sa'kin.
With their newly renovated restaurant, they now have better fixtures and nicer designs.
What we had:
Miso Ramen King - The broth was rich and flavorful but I found it a bit salty. The agi tamago was not so nice to look at but was excellent in taste.
Ebi Tempura Teishoku - Not a fan of the batter they used as it was oily and left an after taste in my mouth.
Gyoza - This was cooked well and was served beautifully.
The only decent place for something warm in Market Market.
Moshi Koshi noodles offers various kinds of ramen and other Japanese side dishes such as gyoza.
We ordered their shoyu ramen and found it good. We specifically ordered the boss noodles for sharing purposes.
We loved how it contained ample amount of toppings, really good for sharing.
The servers in this branch are also quick to attend to our needs. Plus rating! We’d love to try other ramen flavors they are offering.
The Eatventurers
I was really craving for curry and I ordered Katsu curry.
You order and pay at the counter. Once seated, the staff provided me with utensils. My order arrived in less than 5 minutes. (it was around 4pm so there were only a few people)
The serving was big and I love that there was a generous amount of curry and that it was real japanese rice. There were also huge chunks of potatoes and carrots. Taste was just okay, it was a little sour for my liking.
Me and my boyfriend had been a fan of this store eversince they opened a branch in SM North EDSA (which closed by around 2016, I guess?). I like the texture of the noodles and their miso ramen is my favorite! I also love their soft boiled eggs that I've been trying to imitate at home but failed to do so. xD They may not be authentic but the price of the meals are worth it, and for me they're almost near authentic. Kudos to Moshi Koshi and I hope you open more branches!
Actually they already transfer their location, ther are now located at 2nd flr of Market Market. Well the food still delicious but the sitting capacity is smaller than their last spot. But still of you could manage to grab a seat its still worth waiting.
I presume they were on their soft opening so anything they lacked in the menu I didn't mind (it was gyoza 😥 and Udon noodles.) I ordered the Niku Soba and for my dad he got the Chicken Teriyaki bento. Soba wasn't that special, it got the job done which was to feed my hunger. I did come to a realization that I probably am not a thick based soup fan, so I can't have a good opinion on this. For the chicken teriyaki (only tried a bite), tasted again decent nothing special, but given the price I'm not surprised. Will probably try other dishes next time around. Service was good all workers were attentive and fast. The current location is much smaller than the one before, so if you're a big group I'd suggest to pick another place unless you get hold of the couch area.
*new location 2nd floor beside the escalator going down, where sushi king was located*
Nothing special about their ramen but it is one of the affordable ramen out there.
The place is not that crowded which is good for those who dine in big groups.
This is a family favorite - place is clean and service is good. Dining experience is the best. I say that coz service is rarely good to most the restaurants now a days.
All time favorite is the bento chicken teriyaki. We also love the green tea ice cream..even little Aston (2yr old) would always say.."yum" to the last scoop..:)
I ve been targeting this place for quite sometime but i always forgot its location. This place is a quick stop for those who are craving for ramen and no time for choices... a few selected choices in menu compared to big Japanese restos that specializes in ramen. a bit pricey for simple menu. service is like a cross of a fast food and restaurant style... you order and pay first at the counter then your meals get delivered to your table. Noodle's taste may satisfy your craving for ramen some may consider it salty to taste. Place is bare though nothing to talk about, again its like a fast food chain place.
Ang sarap ng Oyakodon. D ko maubos ang isabg bowl. Worth it ang price. The raste was savory and sweet. Superlike!!! I will make it my vice. 😊😊😊
Love their zaru soba and niku udon! Skip the gyudon though and go some place else. But those two dishes I mentioned, maaaan, i love em. Searing hot broth, tenderly cooked noodles, yummm!
Good tasting tantan ramen however the quantity is not enough could have been better if the portion is a bit generous . Also need to promote. Combination meals for customers to have options to choose
Me and my boyfriend decided to have our dinner here yesterday, and were glad we did! We ordered udon noodles and We. Love. It. The broth is bursting with flavors, the noodles is just right, quite soft but firm enough, the toppings is quite generous as well and as for the price? Its very affordable. Will definitely come back! 😁
For our lunch, we had bento of chicken teriyaki, donburi - katsudon and for extra - gyoza. The presentation of chicken teriyakki in a traditional bento box was so nice. They also serve 'blue bowls' for only 110 each. It was sunday and blue bowls offer's not available that day. It has a specific days it will be available and I forgot what the crew said to me, sorry. Overall, we had a very good lunch.
I'm not very much of a fan of Japanese cuisine but I really liked it here. The Ramen was full of flavor and the only thing that I couldn't forget was the Tempura.

My friends were here an hour ago for friendship goals purposes. My absolute favorite dish is Tempura Udon and this place served it. I used to love Moshi Koshi, but since they closed the branch in Shaw, I couldn't eat here anymore. That was until I discovered that there was a branch in Market Market. My friends and I got a bowl each of my favorite. 190 pesos isn't that bad for a bowl of chewy noodles. And my friends loved the experience, because the noodles were that good. The tempura is great, crispy and fluffy. My friends and I might come back for ramen or a bento!
Mucking Around Manila
+4.5
A happy find, Moshi Koshi is definitely one of my new favorite Japanese joints when mucking around Manila. Not only is their food affordable and served pretty fast and piping hot, the dishes taste authentically Japanese, too - they don't skimp on quality as long as the Noodle Boss is around.
To be quite honest, I have never really considered noodles to be an actual meal. Growing up, the only noodles I'd have were of the instant variety, and they were mostly eaten as a snack rather than for lunch or dinner. When I got a bit older, they turned into the Korean variety (still instant) - which only stopped because of a customs recall (apparently, they're cancerous). In my head, noodles were something to chow on to pass the time until the next meal of the day. That is, until I went to Moshi-Koshi Noodle Boss.
Wanting to fully immerse myself in the Noodle Boss experience, I did the unthinkable and tried out three different types of noodles - a noodle degustation if you will - and ended up happily rolling myself out of the noodle diner an hour later. There was definitely a lot of slurping going on!
Miso Ramen. The rich, hearty broth hails from Hokkaido, and is primarily made of fermented soybean topped with nori, naruto, greens, shinachiku (bamboo shoot) and Chasu (soft pork slices). The bamboo shoot and ramen noodles have that perfect, nice chewy bite to it - what the Japanese would call "koshi". Along with the flavorful broth, the chasu fat melts in your gob once eaten, with all the lovely delicate flavors melting onto your tongue, merrily mixing with the slightly salty broth. I have never looked at ramen the same way again.
Tempura Soba. Made up of buckwheat noodles, soba is the traditional noodle of choice for Tokyoites. I liked slurping the noodles up, the nuttiness of the soba nicely complimenting the slight saltiness of the dark soy-based broth. The light, fluffy shrimp tempura is a welcome offset from and brings another dimension of flavor to the meal.
Kara-age Udon. The thickest noodle of the lot, you can't really slurp this without getting it all over yourself. The dark brown mildly flavored broth lets the thick noodles shine - think really big lomi! The udon dish came with Kara-age - chicken cutlets seasoned with ginger and deep fried - you can distinctly taste the ginger in every bite without it being too overpowering. This is my hands down favorite!
After that huge meal, I ended my trip to Moshi Koshi with their famously great-tasting Green Tea Ice Cream - my two favorite things in a pot of happiness that is perfect for sharing!
