The staff are very kind. Their service is also good. I thought food preparation would take long but it didn't. Their meals are affordable and I like their citrus salad.
Quick Lunch Menu saves the day! Wide array to choose from and meal comes with iced tea. We tried Chicken Cajun and Double Pasta with Chicken Teriyaki and both deserves two thumbs up.
Who doesn't want salad with this filling and satisfying Salad Niçoise. I didn't expect that this bunch of veggies just for 185.00? That's super worth my 1st time here. This resto has added to my most favorites. PS. This is more worth it than Italiannis' 😉
The staff who served us was friendly and helpful. We have no idea what to order that time but he gave recommendations and answered our queries. The restaurant is not crowded. We're the only customers when we arrived. Maybe it's because of their location which is on the far corner near Potato Giant (and short walks from the famous bridge in Venice Grand Canal Mall).
We ordered Meaty Lasagna and Fettucine Alfredo with Beef and Mushrooms (solo). I'm glad they have the 'Solo' suggestions on their menu (not available here on Zomato) because personally, looking at their menu here on Zomato, I find it pricey. Anyway, we just paid P400.00+ and it was okay.
The Fettucine Alfredo and Meaty Lasagna comes with 2 foccacia bread which was toasted right. It wasn't hard to chew. The Meaty Lasagna wasn't really that meaty in my opinion but I just never mind it because it was too tasty. The lasagna itself was surrounded by that melted cheese (or whatever you call that, see picture) which I liked the most, and it was delicious. I recommend this one!!
The Fettucine Alfredo is the one that is meatier. It has chunks of beef and some mushrooms. It was served with a light cream topped with cheese (I don't know what type of cheese is that). It was just okay for me, but the Lasagna really marked my taste buds.
+ ambience
+ service
+ location
+ chicken and mushroon soup was a hit!
+ loved, loved, loved the bake chicken
+ huge serving, value for money
- tomato soup was too sour
The first time I ate at Deli Cieux, I gave a 4 rating. Last night, I was so disappointed with the shrimp pasta. I should have ordered the smoked salmon sandwich which is the reason why I came back. Next time, I'll do that, if I'm still coming back. My partner said he will not come back for the stuffed pork chop. He's not ready for pork that has apple filling. I guess we're traditional people when it comes to our taste in food.
Since it's just newly opened, the inside of the restaurant is quite smelly for my sensitive nosebud. Though I like the white tiles in the walls and Paris landscape. We decided to eat outside having the view of the Venice Grand Canal.
The choices of food are American and French cuisine. We've decided to get from the American side. Hubby got the ribs & sausage while I had spareribs & mango salad. My food was good but I like their ribs better! I like the fact the rib meat are easy to pull off. I'd order that next time but I prefer to taste other from the Frech menu especially the dessert.
Left the resto with a tummy full. Would definitely come back for more tasting.
Price: approximately 600-800 for two for american food
