Good Food and super Good Service. We were assisted by Joneil. We enjoyed their unlimited promo. All staff were very accommodating.
Food is fresh and tasty. To make it more convenient for the customers, their servers can also cook for you. Their exhaust is quite good too so you won't smell like smoke and food after your meal.
Pricey but really good KOrean food. I love the restaurant ambiance. Used soju bottles as the wall backdrop. Their meat is so good. Especially the marinated ones. Perfect for family get together.
Price point is decent for the quality of meat they have. Ate here with my siblings. Not much guests but they were still attentive. Also, pork was lean and not too fatty, their marinates for their grilled meats are also good. Tried unlimited pork meats and some other sides.
I have yet to try dolsot bibimbap as good as theirs. You can also ask to separate the meat from the bibimbap. The vegetables are crisp and fresh.
Loved the marinated boneless shortribs here. It's very tender and juicy and one of the best grilled meats we've had.
Also had the Grilled Beef Bulgogi - slices of chuck roll marinated with vegetables, onions and mushrooms.
The banchan isn't as numerous here as in other restaurants of it's kind. Salad was good
However, Zomato Gold 2+2 on drinks enabled us to have an extra Jinro Chamisol Classic Soju and an extra Asahi beer!
I love going here to satisfy my bulgogi cravings. It is my go-to Korean resto in my neighborhood.
Price point is reasonable with the quality of meat that they use! Not to mention the exquisitely-done interior. This is also highly recommended for large group dinners. 💚
I can still remember how the food melts in my mouth!!! Our fave are rib eye and marinated boneless pork ribs!! This is worth your money :) Good service as well. Will definitely come back!!
Namoo House is one of my go-to Korean restaurants because the food - meat and sides - is good overall. I've had their Kurobuta Pork Belly, Pork Collar, Aged USDA Prime Ribeye and Striploin, Marinated Boneless Short Ribs, Woo Samgyup, Grilled Beef Bulgogi, Kimchi Stew, and Pajeon, and I've liked everything so far.
If I were to pick my top order, it'd be Marinated Boneless Short Ribs (a must-try) with Kimchi Stew. The meat was packed with flavor and really goes well with the pineapple. And the Kimchi Stew paired with steamed white rice just completes the dining experience.
Ambiance is nice. The food is great. A bit pricey but I think it’s what you paid is what you get. Many variety to choose. Real korean dining experience.
Awesome service! 😊 Good place to hang out with friends when you’re craving for korean cuisine!! The interior of the place is also awesome. ❤️🥓🥩
The food is good. The staff will do the grill for you and grill it to perfection. What impressed me is that the vegetables served are fresh and cleaned properly. Good ambience, its interior design looks comfortable to dine in, spaces between tables are reasonable so it won't make you feel crowded(my biased observation is that the dining spaces in Philippines are generally small and crowded).
I gave a four stars review because the service was attentive and great at the beginning, but getting worse towards later part of my dining in this restaurant. Example, you have to ask for multiple times before getting your hot tea or water refilled, and it took a good 10 minutes in order to get your bill.
Medyo late ang aking review. (Nung kumakain pa ako ng meat), we really loved this place. Yung interior design and ambiance personally nagustuhan ko. Na-try namin yung meal sets nila dahil group kaming kumain dito.
More power and God bless Namoo House Uptown Parade! :)
had the unlimited samgyupsal meal on a weekday and it was so delicious. crews were very attentive and side dishes were also good. but if it is not a promo price they can be quite pricy. :) but overall, a good experience
We were looking for a place in BGC that serves bibimbap that’s why we decided to try this place. We ordered the marinated pork collar, woo samgyup , Aged USDA Prime Rib Eye and Stone bowl bibimbap. All of the meats were tasty and the sides were good! The only dish we didn’t like was the Stone bowl bibimbap. We think the rice is not the right one for the ingredients. We did not like the wet texture of the rice. We think plain rice is better for the bibimbap.
Great service , good food but the serving portions for the meat were quite small. Decent kimchi but the rice wasn’t the authentic sticky korean rice. All in all reasonably priced and a good experience .
Another checked on my bucketlist. Overall I can say the food were great. We ordered Japchae, pajeon and stone bowl bibimbap. Also loved their side dishes. I love everything except for the stone bowl bibimbap.
It is so nice that they change the grilling plates every after grilling meats. The quality of their meat are good. It is quite expensive here compared to other Korean restaurants I have tried, but it is worth it.
PS. They serve free Barley drinks.
If unlimited premium Korean meat is what you're looking for, then this place is the perfect one for you and it's the only branch in Philippines!! Great value for money for just 650/pax with their eat-all-you-can promo that runs until the end of February. Will be coming again to this place some time.
Good ambience and great customer service. The food was good and the grapefruit soju delicious. Just perfect for a fine out with family and friends.
The best Korean BBQ spot in the city for me. The sides can already speak for the meal itself. Go for the marinated short ribs, the lamb chops and the stone bowl bibimbap. You'll be sold.

For some reason, all Korean restaurants taste the same. They use the same cooking methods,
similar tasting marinades and same types of sauces. The only difference is in the type of meat used, and the tenderness.
We ordered the high-end beef, which was easily a few thousand pesos worth. Was it worth it? Yes, if you’re willing to splurge a little. But I would get the same satisfaction eating in a cheaper Korean restaurant such as Ye Dang or Jang Ga Nae. But don’t get me wrong—the food was good, but other restaurants can also serve the same good food for a fraction of the cost.
Rating for taste would be a 4.5 but factoring in the price, just 3.5.
There are tons of Korean restaurants in the metro right now that offer dishes at cheaper prices. So what's so good with Namoo House that you should pay them a visit? Their quality meats.
Other people don't understand the fuss about Korean BBQ restos, but I, on the other hand, just can't get enough. I've been to traditional ones (a place called Suwon Galbi in Calamba started it all for me back in 2011), those unlimited samgyupsal ones and some relatively upscale ones, and I just had to join this foodie meet-up because Namoo House is on the premium end of the scale.
The interiors were amazing. A whole wall of empty soju bottles, comfy couches, hanging polished copper exhausts and there were trees inside! The lighting was kind of dim, which is fine with me because it gives a more relaxed vibe (and too much brightness gives me migraines). The color scheme was beautiful, it all came together. Namoo House BGC, I've learned, was the first international franchise of Maple Tree House in South Korea (look them up, they're pretty well-known!) They just had to change the name because 'Maple' was already taken by another local food franchise.
By the way, I noticed they used 2 different types of grills for the pork and the beef. It was explained to us that it was because beef was harder to cook than pork, the pork grill had slits while the beef grill looked more like a big mesh. You can just tell that they take their meats and the preparations seriously.
We were served the following dishes: Bibimbap, Special Jumbo Beef Rib Soup, Woo Samgyup, Korean Japchae, Aged USDA Prime Rib-Eye, their Kurobota Pork Belly and their Marinated Boneless Short Ribs. The other dishes were good (+1 to the Bibimbap!) but of course, it's all going to be about the meat!
The Kurobota Pork Belly was delish. I love pork and this was definitely able to satisfy my samgyupsal cravings! The meat, though without any marinade, tasted fresh and was really tender. We were assisted in cooking this and we just watched with gusto while the beautiful meat turned glistening brown. It just had the right amount of fat trimming, enough to indulge my appetite for something fatty and greasy. So so good. The Aged USDA Prime Rib-Eye was cooked medium well -- and I hate to say this but if you want to try Namoo House and is under a budget, you can skip the pork and go for this instead (and my favorite that I'll get into in a bit!) It was really juicy, flavorful and tender and we were all like little kids watching and anticipating the meat turn at the grill! Lastly, my favorite out of everything, the Marinated Boneless Short Ribs. It was soaked in a fruit concoction (evident was the pineapple) so it had that savory-smokey with a hint of sweet taste. The outside of the meat caramelized into a beautiful and appetizing shade of brown after cooking and it was just divine! The meat was melt-in-your-mouth goodness. Just fireworks. It's certainly at the top of my list now for the best meat I've ever had in my life.
Overall, great dining experience at Namoo House! With the wonderful ambiance, great service and truly, the best and quality meats. Added bonus was I didn't ended up smelling like burnt charcoal afterwards! Also, don't forget to drink soju while you're there! Gomawo, Namoo House!
The staff is good, the place is nice, but the food is really something to behold. Order anything on their pallette, and it will surely taste great. Yes, the cost is typical from a place in BGC, but it's well worth it.
Been here twice, and not very impressive. Believe most of what we paid were for the restaurant interior and rental..........................
I’ve been to a lot of Korean restaurants and this one’s my favorite! So how did I know about this restaurant? My friend was in Seoul and she asked their Airbnb caretaker, “If it was your last night in Seoul, where would you eat?" The they said Namoo, then we found out that there is one branch here in the Philippines. The food is so good specifically the beef belly and the pork. And oh, the side dishes are so good too! The salad is great and everything else. It’s unlimited. Service wise is great they even assisted and answered all our questions about the meat and stuff. The ambiance is also good, it’s a private place and not too crowded. I’d come back here!
Great ambiance. The soju bottles were used creatively. When it comes to food, heyyyy, what great and tasty food they have! 🙌🏻 This one lands on my favorite go-to korean restaurant. ❤️
Namoo House which translates to Maple Tree House, in my honest opinion offers one of the best Korean cuisines out there. Using only high quality ingredients and top-grade meat, they're worth every buck.
I've always wanted to drop them a visit and luckily, I was invited here for a Zomato FMU. We met the sibling owners of the restaurant and they were very gracious and generous. They had us sample some of their mouthwatering dishes:
🍽 Aged USDA Prime Rib-Eye
One of the best rib-eye steak I've ever had. Seriously. You can tell that it's high quality just by the beautiful marbling on the uncooked meat. Watching this baby being grilled over charcoal on a special grill is an entertainment on its own. One bite and I'm in rib-eye heaven! It's very tender and juicy, perfectly cooked medium well.
🍽 Kurobota Pork Belly
Gotta love pork belly! Namoo House's pork belly is imported directly from Japan. It's fresh and top-grade meat. Amazing flavor and texture on each bite. Must control thyself because this one is irresistable! I had this wrapped in lettuce leaf together with black rice, sesame oil and gochujang sauce. It was heavenly!
🍽 Marinated Boneless Short Ribs
Sweet and juicy. Galbi is always a favorite of mine. The meat so tender and packing with umami goodness. You don't need any sauces or dips with this one anymore, have it fresh off the grill! It's galbi goodness at its finest!
🍽 Woo Samgyup
Short plate brisket sliced coated in a subtle sweet marinade. A classic Korean dish, this one is perfect with the black rice. Very tasty and I couldn't help myself, went back for seconds, and thirds!
🍽 Korean Japchae
Again, a classic Korean staple. Japchae is made with glass noodles, sweet soy sauce and different sorts of colorful veggies. I loved the texture of the noodles as it was cooked perfectly, not too soggy or chewy.
🍽 Special Jumbo Beef Rib Soup
This one was a surprise. It may look plain and bland on first sight, but the thick broth was savory and slightly sweet. It was the perfect companion to all the meat we digested.
🍽 Bibimbap
Bibimbap which literally means "mixed rice" is another classic Korean dish. It was served on a black stone pot with assorted veggies over rice and special sauces. I loved that Namoo House's version is black rice and on the center is an egg yolk surrounded by generous amounts of fish roe. Aside from being presented beautifully, it was also sinfully delicious! Aside from the meat, this is probably my favorite from their menu.
It was a glorious Korean lunch feast and my heart and tummy was super full. Again, I'd like to highlight the things I loved — First, the option to have black rice over white rice. This is a nice healthy option. White rice being the common offering of Korean restaurants in the metro. Second, very good ventilation! There were a bunch of meat that was grilled that day and we stayed in the place for about 2.5 hours and surprisingly I didn't leave the place smelling like galbi. 😂 And third, obviously would be the food! Simply superb! 👌🏻 Never felt like a huge carnivore at that moment because I just fell in love with all their meat! ♥️
Thank you, Namoo House for having us and Zomato PH for the invite! Head on to Namoo House for your next Korean feast! 🇰🇷

Truly one of the best restaurants out there! Namoo house or roughly translated Maple tree house has always aimed for a healthy mindset on their dishes. All of their meat and ingredients are of quality and they make an extra effort in assuring service as well. In fact they change grills after every type of meat that they cooked for us to assure safety and cleanliness as well. Namoo house prides itself for being one of those premier korean bbq places focusing on taste and quality rather than quantity.
The ambiance was mellow and you can see wall of green soju bottles all over the place. An iconic theme in all of Namoo house branches as seen in the hallway to the restroom.
We got served the Kurobota Pork Belly (150g for 650Php), USDA Prime Rib Eye (150g for 1050Php, 300g for 1895Php, 600g for 3450Php),Marinated Boneless Shortribs (150g for 850Php),Woo Samgyup (150g for 550Php) , Korean Japchae (P395), Special Jumbo Beef Rib Soup , 2 Ribs( P500), Bibimbap, unli banchan (side dishes), some complimentary soju shots, and complementary plumb juice.
The Kurobota pork belly - Imported from japan, it was tender and savory. There was good meat to fat ratio. I wrapped it the pork belly in lettuce leaf with gochujang, sesame oil and black rice, a korean way of eating.
USDA Prime rib eye- Another delicious dish marbled with fat, aged in 2 weeks. It was juicy and tender yet again. The whole meat was packed with umami , had the perfect texture and was cooked medium well as per their standards.
Marinated boneless short ribs/ galbi- Favorite of all, you can never go wrong with galbi. Sweet marinated short ribs similar to a pinoy bbq with a pineapple under taste. The meat was juicy and sweet umami was evident.
Woo samgyup - a classic of Korean bbq. Meat to fat ratio was excellent again. It was delcious pairing it with black rice. I also wrapped again the pork belly in lettuce leaf with gochujang, sesame oil and black rice.
Korean Japchae- One of the most legit japchae's i ever had. I've been disappointed by some other japchae's lately but this was a redeemer. Delicious sweet glass noodles with vegetables and meat.
Bibimbap- the fermented kimchi pajeon was so delicious with the black rice. A lot of topping was there and mixing it all it was still hefty. A "sulit" meal indeed.
Their banchans was also delicious their kimchi was fermented which is something hard to do with their restaurant (they sell their kimchi too jsyk). They have one of the best kimchi pajeon and egg rolls out there to be honest.
They also have set meals Set A : Classic bibimbap, Large Bean Paste Stew, Marinated Pork Collar, Pork Belly, Hot or Cold Tea and 1 set of side dishes
and Set B : Namoo House Salad, Korean Japchae, Woosamgyup, Pork Belly, Hot or cold Tea and 1 set of side dishes
Favorites: Kurobota pork belly, Galbi/short ribs, bibimbap, kimchi
Food 5/5- Food was Delicious nothing undermined my expectations.
Service 5/5- Servers were well trained, well informed, attentive and can suggest a dish Karen was a lovely cook and convesationalist.
Price 4/5- Yes it's a bit pricey on some accounts but quality was consistent all through out.
Ambiance 4.5/5- It feels like a modern korean restaurant without smelling like BBQ after.

잘 먹었습니다! (Jal Meokeossseumnida!)
Product: Namoo House, originally known as Maple Tree House in Seoul, Korea has arrived in our country and we should very much appreciate them for sharing these high quality dishes you will be thankful for once you've had some.
We had such a feast of Korean goods and I couldn't get enough of them. Especially the meat! Truly high class.
Kurobota Pork Belly (Php 650.00 for 150g): Tender and goes along perfectly with sesame seed oil. Simple taste but very delicious.
USDA Prime Rib Eye (Php 1050 for 150g, Php 1895.00 for 300g, and Php 3450 for 600g): This one has such meaty and tender-y goodness and should be consumed only when you deserve it. Probably also because of how price-y it is. At least, it's actually worth looking forward to. It reminds me of Filipino Bbq except a hundred times better because of the meat quality.
Marinated Boneless Shortribs (Php 850.00 for 150g): I had more than a few of this dish because I absolutely love meat whenever it's combined with pineapple. Add the rice, and wow. You can leave me alone for a while.
Woo Samgyup (Php 550.00 for 150g): This one, I'm sure all Korean food lovers are most familiar with. You know what to expect and yes, it's as good (if not better) than the ones you've had before.
Korean Japchae (Php 395.00): Their japchae isn't as sweet as I'm normally used to but I still loved it. The noodles were also thicker than most of the ones I had before.
Special Jumbo Beef Rib Soup (Php 500.00): I was really fond of this one, the beef was so soft that it's so easy to tear it up inside the bowl itself. And I enjoyed it even more when the Soju arrived. What a perfect combination.
Even their banchan (side dishes) were really good, I especially loved the egg roll. And we also had their bibimbap, it was rich with vegetable and rice ofc. If you're gonna order this, you don't need to order an extra cup of rice because you can already share it.
Venue: Namoo House is located near Uptown Mall and Valkyrie. A few walks from Denny's and you'll find it in no time. Upon entering, you will be welcomed by a wall decorated with empty bottles of soju and some dividers made up of trees. You just won't be able to resist admiring the interior of this place. Oh, and also I love how properly ventilated the place is. The smoke doesn't escape the grill so the meat smell wouldn't stick to you and you'll be smelling the way you did when you entered this place. Also, they cook the meat for you so it's cooked to perfection and they turn the stove off right away upon finishing but don't worry, it's all for your own good. The crew were helpful and attentive too.
Namoo House, well known as Maple Tree in Korea, branched out here in the Philippines so we would also enjoy their famous Premium Korean BBQ. It was indeed a great pleasure having been able to taste and experience their wonderful offerings during our visit. Here's why:
Before we go on the food, let me take a note on what a great interior they had. They set up a semi industrial/ nature modern look that you will notice upon entering the restaurant. On the left side is a wall of green soju bottles held on metal bars and on the right side are real trunks from trees set up as dividers making it beautifully unique on its own. The shadowy effect from the right side looks like you are in a forest.
Here is what we had, Kurobota Pork Belly (150g for 650Php). This pork is highly regarded because of its quality and it is imported from Japan. No doubt that it was so tasty and just the right amount of fat. We also had the USDA Prime Rib Eye (150g for 1050Php, 300g for 1895Php, 600g for 3450Php). This meat is 2 weeks aged to attain the perfect texture, flavor and tenderness in the meat. Again, they are famous of their premium korean bbq and this goes to show how terrific and how delicious this meat is. Another we had was the Marinated Boneless Shortribs (150g for 850Php). This one is my favorite because of the marinate that is quite sweet because of the fruity flavor added to it. I liked that is somehow tastes like a FIlipino BBQ. And then we also had the Woo Samgyup (150g for 550Php) which is strips of beef brisket that is also slightly marinated sweet. Thumbs up for the superb flavor and juicy meat.
It wouldn't be complete if we weren't able to try the side dishes and the black rice. I loved the egg rolls and the namoo house salad and the bean paste stew that are perfect pair for the premium meats. Korean Japchae (395Php) is also good but I think it was just a bit salty and overcooked when I had it. I would not forget the Special Jumbo Beef Rib Soup (for 500Php) that we had because I loved how soft, tasty and tender the meat is and the broth is just heavenly. On the other hand, it was also a great show when the servers did the grilling for us. On top of that they used different types of grillers required for each meat so they would be cooked perfectly and show the natural flavors and not mix up with the other meats. On the other hand
Overall, I enjoyed a very scrumptious feast. It may be a bit pricey but dining here will not be a waste. We ended with a shot of plum juice that cleansed our palate and a happy tummy. Great ambience, great service and awesome food! Kudos!
Namoo is a franchise of Maple Tree House, one of the well-known restaurants in SoKor. Aimed to serve authentic Korean dishes, Namoo has established themselves in serving only the quality choice of meats. So basically, the price justifies for itself.
So we had a meal with them and here's what we had:
- USDA Prime Rib Eye (1,050.00 php/150 g, 1,895.00 php/300g, 3,450.00 php/600g)
- Marinated Boneless Short Ribs (850.00 php/150 g)
- Kurobota Pork Belly (650.00 php/150 g)
- Woo Samgyup (550.00 php/150 g)
- Special Jumbo Beef Rib Soup (550.00 php/2 ribs)
- Korean Japchae (395.00 php)
The choice meats are great. The fat are of just the right amount. The marinate on the short ribs reminds me of local barbecue and I love it. Everything's backed up with a great bowl of Japchae and that Beef Rib Soup is a great washdown to the taste. Then there's that great crew who assisted us with our meal to make it a lot enjoyable.
It was a great experience dining here at Namoo but you need to be loaded up for that. Good thing they do have their lunch specials that you could enjoy at a low price of 888.00 php. It's a whole set meal that fits the budget.
"Namoo" , a Korean word which means tree. Per Ms. Karen and William Kho (sib owners), Namoo is the first international franchise of Maple Tree House, the restaurant's original name in its home base in Korea. There is an existing restaurant here in Metro Manila with a similar name so they had to change it to Namoo House to avoid any confusion.
The Philippine franchise just celebrated its first year anniversary last month. Note that it it is the first international franchise of Maple Tree House. Two months ago Taiwan followed suit . The mother franchise on the other hand had been part of Korea's culinary landscape since 2009
When you enter the restaurant, you cant help but notice the wall of green bottles that dominate the entire left side. These are empty green soju bottles, which is an iconic drink of Korean origin. Per Ms. Karen (owner), the stunning green wall is a recurring theme carried over from the Maple Tree House Restaurant in Korea.
Namoo or Maple Tree House is famous for its Korean Premium Barbecue.
Yesterday at a sponsored lunch, we were served the following best sellers. All meat were cooked in front of us by a server . Good because Im one of those who do not like doing the cooking when I'm in a restaurant. I do enough of that at home hahaha
Kurobota pork belly 150 g P650 - tender and flavorful. There were four pcs of pork belly cut into small pieces. It was perfect with black or white rice or stuffed inside a lettuce leaf.
USDA Prime Rib Eye , 150 g P1050 - The ribeye was marbled with fat which was very good. May have to order one rib eye for each piggery though. Other sizes available are 300 g P1895 and 600 g P3450
Marinated boneless short ribs 150 g P850 - loved the sweet marinade. It reminded me of our pork barbecue. Meat was succulent and tender.
Woo Samgyup 150 g P550 - looked like bacon slices and are delicious as well
Korean Japchae P395 - good and filling
Special Jumbo Beef Rib Soup , 2 Ribs P500 - Think Korean-style Bulalo minus the marrow. We paired this with a bottle of Soju.
Summary:
There is no denying that Namoo House serve the best quality meats. Everything we tasted were quite delicious and tender. I guess the only issue would be the price vis a vis the quantity of meat served.
Yes it is pricey. I can imagine ordering each of my piggery an order of 150 g each of meat, the price range of which goes at P650 to a high of P1050.
Fortunately for us they also have Lunch Specials which goes for P888 plus for two, as follows :
Set A : Classic bibimbap, Large Bean Paste Stew, Marinated Pork Collar, Pork Belly, Hot or Cold Tea and 1 set of side dishes
Set B : Namoo House Salad, Korean Japchae, Woosamgyup, Pork Belly, Hot or cold Tea and 1 set of side dishes
Never been to any Korean Restaurant here in the Philippines that measures up to their service. Props to the staff who were so considerate in providing the needs of my toddler to make sure we still have an excellent dining experience. I especially like how you can enjoy dining here and not end up smelling like barbecue.
Tried the Marinated Boneless Short Ribs and Kurobota Pork Belly. This is my first time trying samgyup and Namoo House surely set the bar high. Even though, imho, they have few servings but at expensive prices, the quality of the food they offer is really what you pay for. Grrrr just thinking about this makes me want to come back lol
Interior: it's a quaint place at bgc where you can drop by if you're feeling Korean for the day. They have a mirror wall with a lot of green bottles so it looks Like there are hundreds of bottles on the wall. The restroom was clean and spacious.
Service: Staff was very polite and accomodating.
I WILL COME BACK AND HOARD FOOD NEXT TIME. In the meantime... Gotta work to save money 😅
When it comes to the quality of the food, Namoo House is undoubtedly the BEST Korean restaurant in the metro. Out of all kbbq restos I've tried, which is actually a lot, their woo samgyup was the BOMBBB!!! It was SUPER YUMMY, FLAVORFUL, AND TASTYYY! However, the food is expensive compared to other restaurants which is reasonable. Others offer 180g samgyup for a cheaper price but their 150g woo samgyup was a bit pricy.
The sides weren't unlimited unless you order atleast 2 or 3 (lol forgive me for not being sure) but after a few refills, the staff told us "last refill na po pero unli po yung lettuce!" (HAHA what?!?!!) which is completely okay!! The food was SOOO GOOOD naman. The place was super fancy! The staff were okay haha. Would come back if only I have so much in my pocket :( loved it nonetheless! :)
My brother celebrated his birthday dinner here and we definitely enjoyed the food, ambience and the service. We ordered four servings of meat (Woo Samgyup, Kurobata Pork Belly, Pork Belly and Grilled Beef Bulgogi) and we got unlimited side dishes which are perfect! Their japchae, bibimbap and bulgogi were also good. Bonus: The servers were very helpful and attentive all the time - A big shout-out to Pau.
Definitely one of the better Korean grill restaurants I've visited but not the best. I recommend the grilled beef bulgogi and the woo samgyup. With the unlimited appetizers, that's enough for 2.
Very good food. Full of flavour and reasonably priced. Though a bit on the high end. I love korean style food and this is okay. But as far as korean restos go they abound in the philippines so it will be easy to find a place with same quality but lower price.
We ordered quite a bit. But for 2 pax i would say prepare to spend close to 1700. The 1300 it says on the front page is on the low side.
Its clean and the staff rather friendly.
Will i be back? Perhaps...perhaps ..
We ordered the following:
- Pajeon: A bit bland so make sure to eat with the dipping sauce that comes with it.
- Special Jumbo Beef Rib Soup: Korea's version of bulalo/nilaga and w/ glass noodles. Among our orders, this is the one I liked the least.
- Kurobota Pork Belly: Because a korean barbecue party ain't complete w/o this.
- Marinated Boneless Short Ribs
- Marinated Pork Collar
It's pricier than the other korean restos I've been to, but it's definitely ranking at the top of my go-to list if you're craving for grilled meats. Also, they will do all the grilling for you (but if you wish, you can also grill it yourself) so you can just sit back and concentrate on stuffing yourself up, like we did. Burp!! ❤🐷
If you want to eat just meat then you should come here. The kimchi panjeon is good. Not a lot Of choices in their menu. A little pricey but you're in bgc
I’m hooked to Korean food these past months. It all started with my addiction to kimchi rice. The mildly spiced bowl of carbs with some crunchy greens is just too irresistible. And so when I heard that Namoo House, a franchise of Maple Tree House in Seoul, Korea, is opening in Manila, I twirled with joy and giddily waited till it opened. And after a few reschedules, I finally found myself in front of the newest Korean restaurant in Manila.
Namoo House is a classier, more upscale Korean BBQ restaurant that focuses on quality over quantity. You get a bevy of carefully curated side dishes (ban chan), a delicious dipping sauce, and hearty soup to start. This is NOT an AYCE (All-You-Can-Eat) place, but the cuts are premium, fresh, and not all fat.
This is not my first time at Namoo House, since it was open last year.
But this time I was able to try most of the their bestsellers.
We were served an appetizer first with some banchan. Sweet potato, kimchi and many more. Then we started to grill the ribeye, followed by kurobota pork belly, beef ribs, samgyupsal and jumbo beef rib soup. All of them were paired with japchae, bibimbap and black rice. Wow! And all the dishes served were flavorful and tasty! My favorite was the ribeye. Tea and Soju were served all the time during our eat up. To end our super delightful meal which I am craving right now while I am writing this review, we had a plum juice as our palate cleanser.

I went to Uptown Parade to eat my lunch at Namoo House after the cancellation of Hey Handsome meet-ups due to the restaurant is not yet operational.
The staff greeted me outside and invited me in to their elegant and cozy Korean restaurant. I like the interior especially the hundreds... thousands of green bottle wall.
Once seated, she handed me the menu and I find the dishes price is high.
Still, I tried the Classic Bibimbap for Php350.00 served with free Bean Paste Stew worth Php195.00 and unlimited sides. By the way, the menu price is exclusive of tax and service charge.
Classic Bibimbap - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5
It's very flavorful, they used organic rice. Served with separate spicy and sweet rice paste to manage the spice level of my bibimbap.
Bean Paste Stew - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5
Hot soup and as expected... SPICY!
Unlimited Side Salad - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5
Lettuce served with Namoo's homemade sesame dressing. Yum! 😍
Complimentary Plum Juice - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5
To minimize the after taste of spiciness.
All in all, the service went well. The food is great but I think Value Added Tax (VAT) should be included in the menu price.

The same colleague from Australia whom I had lunch with the other day at Ping Pong Diplomacy extended his stay in Manila for another week due to some unfinished business. We met up for lunch at Namoo House, a Korean BBQ grill in Uptown Parade. A very classy place, each table had its own exhaust pipe, allowing guests to grill with the convenience of remaining odorless after. [Read More]
A high end shabu-shabu. Their food is pricey but all worth it. You will definitely get the fine dining experience. Their cold cuts are simply amazing especially thhe marinated beef. The waiters will assist you on cooking the meats and hot pot. Their Japchae is exquisite and their salads are fresh and dressing are tastey. Definitely a korean bbq/shabu-shabu you don't want to miss!
This is by far my favorite place to eat Korean food in BGC. Despite horrible service, it's with it to come for the delicious food. My favorite things to order are the Kurobota pork belly, woo samgyup, bulgogi, the two soups, and jalchae. The mul naengmyun is good too, but a little sweet. Don't order the pajeon as it very bland, too oily, and undercooked.
Namoo House: 4.0 / Fresh food; very efficient staff - patiently cooked the beef and pork for us as well as answered our various questions on Korean food; not a full house on a weeknight.
Namoo House Premium Korean Barbecue is a Korean barbecue restaurant located at Uptown Parade, Taguig City. It is a franchise of the popular Maple Tree House restaurant in Seoul but due to some business name restrictions they decided to name the place Namoo House. Namoo in the Korean language means Tree so Namoo House actually means Tree House. Namoo House Premium Korean Barbecue is the fifth branch of the Maple Tree House chain and it is their first international location.
We love Korean BBQ so we decided to try this out. We ordered the usual pork (kurubota) belly and beef short ribs. We were surprised that the food was really great. The pork was soft and tender and was marinated with just salt and pepper. It was just how I liked it to be. The beef belly was well marinated with the right sweetness to it. Among all of the grilled korean beef bbq I've tasted here in the Philippines, I would say that this was the best. Give it a try. I strongly recommend it.
My foodie adventure for this day started with Namoo house. The word “Namoo” means Korean for “tree”. The name came as a derivative from the original Korean name called “Maple tree house”. Upon entering, I found the interior very stylish. The dining area was line with thousands of soju bottles. Also, the range hoods for every table had their own shiny bronze chimneys.
Namoo house boasts of authentic Korean dishes. Its selection of meat is of the highest quality imported straight from abroad. Most of it is freshly grilled right in front of you. The restaurant uses only the finest Korean cutlery and grilling equipment for the authentic experience. Hence, one can see their dedication to creating a quality meal.
We started off with their customary Korean appetizer. This was composed of omelette, Kimchi, Spicy Dilis, and sauteed Kangkong. I particularly liked the kimchi as it was made fresh and lacked the strong smell the dish was usually known for. I used the other three later as toppings for the meat dishes. The Dilis was also tasty. The combination of spicy and bitter flavors was an excellent starter for better things to come.
The meat selection came next. The Kurobota Pork Belly, which came straight from Japan, was unlike the typical grilled pork dish I usually eat. It was very tender and chunky at the same time. The fatty parts were melt-in-your-mouth.
The USDA Prime Rib Eye, on the other hand, was their top of the line beef offering. The dish was also grilled in the right temperature. Upon tasting, I truly experienced the zenith of my beef-tasting existence. The meat was grilled in all the right places. No burnt parts or bloody chunks were present.
The Marinated Boneless Short Ribs with Pineapple Chunks, thick pork ribs doused in fruit marinade and topped with pineapples for the sweet and rich taste Filipinos usually enjoy.
This was good with their brothlike sauce.
Woosamgyup was composed of an array of brisket slices with the texture and thinness of bacon. This grilled favorite was easy to chew, unlike the beef dishes in other restaurants.
This was excellent with their chili paste and steaming black rice.
The Special Jumbo Beef Rib Soup was the restaurant's standard offering for cold days. It was composed of a huge beef rib boiled in a flavorful soup. While I disliked the fact that bits of bone
were in the soup, I still admired that rich and flavorful taste.
All of these meat dishes comes with refillable fresh romagne and red lettuce plus a generous helping of perilla leaves. The latter, not readily available in our local markets, had a minty taste. According to the staff, the meat was usually wrapped in the leaves then gorged in one single bite. I didn't have diifculty following their suggestions, given my regard for the taste and variety of their dishes.
The meat was also well-complemented by their Classic Bibimbap and very filling Black Rice. The Bibimbap was steaming hot. It was topped with carrots, black mushroom, cucumber strips, and their special rice paste. I liked this dish for its mild, sweet taste. The black rice, while not being so flavorful, served as an excellent filler to the taste of the meat viands.
Our wonderful experience was ended by the refreshing taste of sweet plum juice. This is typically good for digestion and cleansing.
Namoo house comes as a high end place nestled near the outskirts of BGC. I'd say that the prices were pretty steep in terms of quality. However, the price is justified by the quality of the meat. The latter was truly of the highest order and the most meticulous preparation.
Korean restaurants abound throughout the metro. But if you are looking for more quality ingredients from Aged USDA Prime Rib-eye and Kurobota Pork, Namoo pulls out the works for a real Korean BBQ experience.
Start with their banchan (Korean side dishes) from kimchi, spinach, anchovies (dilis) and tamago (egg).
Their Namoo Salad is awesome with the black sesame dressing!
If you want a spicy salad, order the Spring Onion Salad.
Not to be missed is the Stone Bowl Bibimbap. The best bibimbap ever! Nice toasty crispy rice at the bottom with assorted vegetables mixed with egg. You won't regret ordering this dish.
Favorites among the meats are the melt-in-your-mouth Aged USDA Prime Rib Eye, the Kurobota Pork Belly, marinated Boneless Short Ribs (grilled with pineapple) and Woo Samyup (short plate brisket slices).
Menu at Namoo might be pricey but you can't get better quality prime ingredients anywhere else.
Namoo House is one of the newest addition to the rich landscape of Manila's foodie scene. From the makers of Maple Tree House in Seoul, Korea, both K-fans and foodies will be thrilled as this renowned premium Korean barbecue restaurant finally sets up shop on Philippine shores. Believe me when I say Namoo has got it! From its unique contemporary-industrial restaurant feel using elements such as wood, stone and copper, glass and steel, to their premium and mouthwatering premium grade meats, to legit Korean grilling experience, yes, they've got it all! Service was impeccable too!

Kamsamnida, Namoo House and Zomato! Will be back!
I will never get tired of eating Korean food! And I am very happy that a new Korean restaurant just opened up in the neighborhood! Yayyy 😍😍
Namoo House is the fifth branch of the Maple Tree House chain and its first international location. Maple Tree House is a renowned premium Korean barbecue restaurant in Seoul which is owned by Canadian nationals but of Korean descents.
What's on their menu are various types of meats mostly imported from the US. Some favorites are the Aged USDA Prime Ribeye, Aged USDA Prime Striploin, Special Jumbo Beef Rib Soup and the Kurobota Pork Belly which is imported from Japan. For me, my personal favorite and their best-seller both in Manila and in Seoul is their Marinated Boneless Short Ribs. It's so good that words are not enough to explain how it feels and tastes like! Their Bibimbap is also a must try! It's not like your usual Bibimbap which you can find to every Korean restaurants out there. Plus their Kimchi is so unique!
They also have lunch specials and the price starts P888 good for 2! They will also be having holiday season specials so watch out for news!

Food was delicious and flavorful. Service was impeccable. Ambiance was immersive and inviting.
All in all a fantastic experience. :)
No other Korean restaurant comes close, in my opinion. And I frequent Korean restaurants a lot in the metro.
I highly, highly recommend Namoo House for the authenticity and depth of flavor of their dishes and the fantastically PREMIUM cuts of their meats. Some of my personal favorites:
THE COMPLIMENTARY STARTERS
While other Korean restaurants go for quantity, Namoo House goes for quality with each dish carefully crafted and thought-out to perfectly go with whatever dish you end up ordering.
AGED USDA PRIME STRIPLOIN
I’m a big meat guy. When they say their cuts are premium cuts, they mean it. Their servers also perfectly grill the premium cuts for you in its purest form—unseasoned. Yup! This is a true testament of the quality of their meats. Great depth of flavor, marbled, and clean-tasting! Sobrang sulit. I personally love having control over seasoning the cuts myself with sesame oil and toasted salt. THE BEST!
MARINATED BONELESS SHORT RIBS
This was the biggest surprise on the menu for me. I usually cannot stand pineapples with my meats, but this was absolutely scrumptious. Take my word for it. I was the first in our table to take a bite in our table. Once I did, I immediately ordered another round so everyone could have at least two portions. Yup, that good.
STONE BOWL BIBIMBAP
Easily the best bibimbap I’ve ever had. Balance is the key word here. It really was the perfect balance of spicy, sweet, savory, and tangy. Having it on a stone bowl gave it a little crunch which was such a treat.
SPICY BIBIM – NAENGMYUN
Surprisingly my favorite in the menu. Refreshingly spicy cold noodles which is a great way to cap off any meal at this wonderful gem of a restaurant. Great flavor. Highly recommended!
The cleanse the palate, they serve complimentary plum juice which was so good I wanted to bring home a carton of it. Haha!
HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Wish more people (especially those whose love Korean cuisine) knew more about this place!!!
I had dinner here last-night with family and it was amazing! I was pleasantly surprised with the marinated boneless short ribs. It was really yummy! I never liked any dish with Pineapple but this one works. Worth giving it a try! The ribeye was juicy and the japchae was really good. The bibimbap also goes with a free dish (bean paste stew worth Php 195) a good alternative to Ramen on rainy days! The place is pricier than the usual Korean BBQ restaurants in the Metro but I guess it is justified since they only serve premium quality meats. Overall I think this is probably the most underrated Korean Restaurant in Manila. They also have a wine all you can promo at only 680! Would definitely come back!
Hello, Namoo House!
Located at the quieter side of Fort Bonifacio, you could easily miss this restaurant by car with its dim facade lights. But you’d easily spot this place if you’re strolling around the area as its friendly hostess will warmly greet you with a big smile on her face. And the glimmering green bottles will surely catch your attention.
I couldn’t help stare at the walls filled with Korea’s famous green soju bottles. It created a striking contrast against the golden exhaust tubes and levelled up the Korean grill restaurant's ambiance.
During our visit, we were able to try Marinated Boneless Short Ribs (PHP750), Woo Samgyup (PHP495) and Stone Bowl Bibimbap (PHP395).
First served were the sides and true to Korean style of dining, they served a lot of side dishes. There were the staple kimchi, spiced dilis and some greens. No egg rolls were served but they gave us a small plate of sliced pickled mushrooms and it was better!
Kat, the hall captain, grilled the meats for us and she prepared the Marinated Boneless Short Ribs first.
While grilling, she mentioned that the short ribs dish is Namoo House’s bestseller. Marinated in house fruit marinade made of apples, pears and pineapples, each bite guarantees a subtly sweet flavor.
We immediately took a bite as soon as the short ribs were ready. We put a bit of pineapple on top of our meat as we were told that the short ribs are best enjoyed that way. And she was right! We loved it!
The meat was so succulent and flavorful that you don’t need any dip for it. Its sweet taste was so addicting that one order is not enough! But we had to resist as Woo Samgyup was about to be grilled next.
We noticed that they replaced the grill before cooking the Woo Samgyup. Kat mentioned that it’s because there’s a specific grill or plate per type of meat. I was impressed as I’ve never been to any grill restaurant that pays attention to the grills used to cook its meats.
While prepping the Woo Samgyup, the bowl of bibimbap and a complimentary bean paste soup was served.
Kat was so nice that she was the one who poured soy sauce and some red bean paste on the bowl of bibimbap and mixed it for us. That’s awesome service right there!
Soon, both the Woo Samgyup and bibimbap were ready to be indulged.
The short-plate brisket slices were so tender and had a noticeably sweet taste. I enjoyed this with its sauce. But I also rebelled a bit and tried it with the sauce for other grilled meat and added a slice of garlic on it. And it still tasted great!
The bibimbap which is a combination of assorted vegetables and rice sure was a nice touch to complete the meal. We were told that most Korean diners request their bibimbap to be served last and Namoo House seemed to have practiced this too. So make sure that you tell them to serve your bowl of rice together with the meat if you want to enjoy it together.
We capped our meal by drinking a cup of complimentary plum juice which is known to help digestion. It’s a perfect drink after eating a plate full of meat.
Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. I would love to go back for more short ribs!
P.S. If you plan to have lunch here on weekends, it would be best to call ahead and make reservations as the place is packed on these days. You may contact them at +63 2 946 37 33 or at +639 17 527 38 98.
For my birthday this year, I wanted to eat something that I really enjoy. Fortunately there’s a new Korean restaurant in the BGC area which is quite near my work place. Namoo House also known as Maple Treehouse is a Seoul based Korean restaurant that opened at BGC Uptown Parade. The place was decorated by soju bottles on one side and tree trunks on the other. We were seated in a table surrounded by the trunks.
I would have to say that this place is okay, but it didn't meet the lofty standards I had for it given that I have previously tried Maple Tree House in Korea. We tried their kurobuta pork belly, marinated pork collar, USDA prime rib eye, marinated boneless short ribs, their bulgogi, and their bibimbap. We found the marinated items were actually better than the more expensive unmarinated items, as they were more flavorful while the kurobuta pork belly and the rib eye really needed the salt with sesame oil to stand out. The bulgogi was okay, but did not stand out in any way really. Their bibimbap was okay, it wasn't really able to form that nice crispy bottom that you want out of bibimbap, but it was good value as it also came with a small bean paste stew.
Overall it's okay, but nothing really stood out or blew me away, and that was where my expectation was set after having my mind blown by maple tree house in Seoul. The marinated boneless short ribs would be my pick as the best dish we had. Namoo House is certainly worth a try, but it has not distinguished itself from all the other Korean barbecue spots just yet.
Absolutely love the Woosamgyup, jumbo shrimps, and the stone bowl bibimbap! Must try! It's a great place to hang out and chill with friends. Drinks are affordable too.

In this post: Aged USDA Prime Striploin, Kurobota Pork Belly, Marinated Boneless Short Ribs, Stone Bowl Bibimbap, Special Jumbo Beef Rib Soup, and Bean Paste Stew
A piece of Korea has landed in the Philippines. Known as Maple Tree House in Korea, this premium Korean barbecue restaurant opened its first international branch last August 01 in Uptown Parade, BGC. Here in the country, they made use of the name Namoo House ("namoo" meaning tree) so as not to be associated with the existing "maple" restaurant.
Prime Rib Eye was very good. Marinated Short Rib was a surprise, I suggest to include it on your must try in Namoo House. A bit pricey but definitely worth it. great service and fantastic food taste. ☺️
