Oh Flatiron, forgive me for I have sinned. I must confess that my gluttony for mouthwatering & caloriefic food can't be tamed whenever I dine at your homey place. As a self-confessed foodie, my ultimate favorites here would be your lamb shank, flat iron brisket & your Salbacho pizza! This place ain't for anyone dieting as I can assure you that your first dining experience here would certainly not be your last. The dishes here are melt-in-your-mouth goodness at its best <3 Ooooh and I want more!
Had our anniversary dinner here today (6 years together + 1 year married). Prices are reasonable, considering we were really full at the end of the meal. We also thought it would be expensive, considering where the restaurant is located, but it's not. Tuna potato skins were delightfully crispy. Husband had a burger (and he was very happy with it) while I had the beef salpicao (the beef was so tender, yum). We had ginger cheesecake for dessert.
We ordered Caesar salad (for sharing) and had more than enough to eat. The dressing was a delight! Partnering the salad was the baked mac (for sharing as well) that was a combination of creamy feeling and cheesy. � For the dessert, we tried the Apple Crumble cake, just to try something new to us. All in all, good food �

Me and my gf came here few times through eatigo, everything that we ordered from the menu is great. The pata, the corned beef sinigang, the beef caldareta, everything is amazing. Service is super pro and kind, our favourite Filipino cousin in the metro.
Sinigang + GG + Garlicky adobo = Holy Trinity
1. Their sisig is a legend.
2. Sinigang sa Miso surprised me, I don't know what's with it but not usual I taste at home or family/friends gathering.
3. Nothing fancy with their lechon kawali. And the sauce tastes like those bottled sarsa's, so 🤷
4. I wish though, they'll serve sisig last as it came 5 or 7 minutes earlier than the rest.

Another checked on my bucket list. We ordered Garlicky Adobo, Macau Chorizo and Cheese tidbits, Chicken and Tofu and Pancit Guisado. All of them were tasty. Will definitely go back.

Food presentation and quality are great. I would highly recommend the macau chorizo cheese tidbits and the garlic adobo. Speed of service is one thing that can be improved.

Love the binagoongan! I ordered the seafood binagoongan rice too but di nakakasuya even if you partner them together. Not too salty, and even though we ordered solo sizes (to qualify for zomato gold), a serving size can be shared by two. Corned beef sinigang's meat is tender and they let you taste the soup before serving to know if it's the right level of asim for you, which is very considerate. Looking forward to trying other dishes (heard the kare kare is good) ♡
I ate here with my family who came from the US and it is a nice place to take them too. The place is spacious and the service was good. We ordered the corned beef sinigang. I have to say this dish really piqued my interest and it was really good. My relatives liked this dish a lot. It's a little bit saltier than the sinigang I'm used to but it works. I absolutely loved the garlic adobo. It's delicious and I'm just a sucker for garlic. My fave though was the smoked fish and salted egg lumpia. The fish was so good and it blended well with the salted egg. I think this was the star of the show for me at least.
Perfect place when your craving for filipino dishes. I recommend to try sinigang, they serve soup samples first so they could adjust according to your taste.
We almost didn’t go in because it was empty on a Saturday night. But am glad we did. Service attentive. The food came out quickly and well presented. Sinigang corned beef still really good. So was the tinapang Bangus spring roll.

Filipino food always have a special place in my heart and tummy. I'd often find myself craving for bulalo, sinigang or adobo. And one of the best places I know that offers good sinigang is Sentro 1771. But this Filipino restaurant offers more than just Sinigang na Corned Beef. Hello, Sentro 1771. It has been a while since I last visited Sentro 1771 and I was glad that the dishes I love are still available and there are a few new items worth checking out.
I must say they serve the best corned beef sinigang in town. A cozy warm feeling with a touch of a homy ambience makes dining here a great experience. Staff are well trained and courteous and serving time is just right.
I love the place and the food! Especially the ampalaya and their house specialty (sinigang na corned beef).
Will definitely go back to try their desserts :)

I love it here! We actually went here because we thought we can have some Filipino Breakfast for Dinner, sadly it's not available, so we asked the server for their best foods and here's what we tried: Sinigang na Cornbeef, honestly i did not expect it to be good, it's weird at first but it's still sinigang with just corn beef chunks. They will also let u pick the level of asim of your sinigang which is nice. Next, we had some Galunggong, good also. And Seafood Laing, which is aslo amazing. We only ordered the solo serving because we want to try more food and the serving does not dissapont! It's supposed to be single serving but it's really a lot. One cup of rice is not enough hehe! We also got fried Kesong Puti for our appetizer, which i kinda regret I only ordered a Solo serving, it's good!
After our dinner the server also suggest we try some desserts, we got the Fried Suman with Mangoes! The mixture of ingredients are good, something sweet, sour and maalat for the toyo dressing (if im not mistaken) and the crunchy feeling of the Fried Suman is amazing!
It's really worth the price, solo serving is around 300 to 200 which cheap for the serving 💕
They also have bar, with beers and wines. I think they are open until 11pm. Also love the bathroom! Service is amazing, tentative server and good recommendation, nice ambiance.
Just a little sidenote, I guess the ventilation is not that good, we a bit smell like food when we left. Bearable but can be improved.

The 1771 group continues to build not just restaurants but also memories through their dishes worth coming back to.
I missed Sentro 1771’s iconic Corned Beef Sinigang, and I’m happy I got two servings of it today. Its soup was light yet had a depth of tamarind flavor. The meat did not disappoint, too as it was soft, easy to eat. Finally, its vegetables were likely half cooked, as they were crisp and vibrant.
Go ahead and partner their Sinigang with crisp and tasty Rated GG. It’s galunggong fillet fried in garlic oil and topped with browned garlic. The other fried dish served, classic Lechon Kawali, however, was bland, lacking in seasoning.
If you love barbecue like I do, have the Pinoy style, sweet Boneless Chicken Barbecue in skewer form. I think I can down three of these on another trip here.
I also took delight in Sentro’s take on Filipino Vegetable Spring Roll. It is traditional lumpia made modern. It had Baguio beans, cabbage, carrots, sweet potato, onions, and squash.

Food at sentro is delicious. They now offer solo size perfect for lone diners. Anyway, we had their sinigang na corned beef of course. Broth is so perfect! The rated GG now is not tough, perfect partner for the sinigang. Tocho..hay manyaman (delicious) an old time fave. I will skip the kesong puti next time. Vegetable spring rolls is ok. Adobo is delicious!

Food is great. They remained consistent through the years. The only issue is that they've become very pricey with very small servings. I'd say if you haven't tried their corned beef sinigang, try it but if you're on a budget, there are other places that serve great tasting sinigang for under 400 with bigger servings than Sentro. I guess I'm just not their target market as I'm after the value for money.

Their Corned Beef Sinigang is really good and exceeded is worthy of the title “Specialty of the House”. The brisket is very soft and goes perfectly with the soup. Also appreciated how before they served the dish, they asked if the sourness level was good or if we prefer for it to be adjusted. Aside from this dish, I think that their catfish adobo flakes is definitely a must-try! It’s very crisp and adds texture. We also ordered the seafood laing, chicken barbeque and tilapia in coconut milk - all good. Soli serving size is good for sharing too.
Used our zomato gold to avail solo order of cornbeef sinigang and hito flakes, plus an order of laing. I really like the idea of asking our opinion on how they adjust the taste of our sinigang in to our liking.

Only solo plates were allowed for Zomato Gold members so we ordered a number of different plates. What stood out the most for me is their corned beef sinigang! Before they brought out the dish, they had us try the soup in a teacup to see if the sourness is enough (although we asked them to add a little more but it’s our first time to be served sinigang this way!). We had multiple soup refills because the soup was just marvelous.
Giving food a 3 star rating but their service deserves 7 stars!

Food tastes good, but the serving size was small given the price range. The zomato gold privilege only applies to solo servings, so we didn’t get to try a lot of food.

Sentro 1771 is beside Flatiron 1771 and both of them are from Chateau 1771 Group of Restaurants. Their modern interior screams coziness yet perfect for business meetings too.
We ordered three different single orders. Garlic Steak contains three separate beef and no doubt garlicky. It's not too tender and has some fats in between. Lechon Kawali is too oily but at least it's crispy. Inihaw na Baboy consists of many slices, tastes normal, but is not smokey enough.
Serving time wasn't fast. The staff were not very friendly and I noticed they barely smiled when interacting with their customers. When we asked for the bill and paid, we waited for so many minutes waiting for our change so we just left.

The place is cozy and the service was good. The Filipino dishes we had was good good but not remarkable. It was the first time to eat lamb and it was good, I haven’t tasted the strong flavor of the lamb. It was soft and tender that it almost melt in my mouth. We had the lamb caldereta.

Great ambiance, great food, great choice of music. Staff are polite and attentive. You should try their fresh spring rolls and Garlicky Adobo aside from the good old Sinigang na Corned Beef. Indulgence made mode healthy with their Organic Red and Brown Rice options.
Their sinigang is one of the best I’ve tasted! The let you decide the sourness of the soup. The beef is so tender. The serving is good for 2 which is quite reasonable. The ambiance is great! Best for family gatherings.
Zomato gold honored only for single serving dishes, not valid for sharing and family portions. First time to be asked for my ID for the zomato gold. Food is good, we ordered vegetarian red rice, chicken adobo sa gata, pork liempo, ampalaya and tomato salad, kesong puti salad. Nice ambience, but had a single fly hovering in the table. :(
It’a not my first time to try Sentro but as always, it did not disappoint. Every food here is definitely appetizing. Everything is fresh. Pusit is juicy and soft. Sinigang corned beef is always a hit. Rated GG is my staple alongside the sinigang and lastly, I like how Sentro offers red rice, its a healthier option if you dont want to feel too guilty about carbs.
Food: I loved the garlic steak as well as the lamb caldereta my colleague and I ordered. We were here for a quick lunch so those were the things we were able to try. The lamb was a bit under marinated but the sauce had a complex favor to it that I usually didn't find in the average caldereta dishes. The steak was perfect, it had a friend kangkong side with a sweet sauce that went well with how savory the steak was.
Ambiance: definitely a place you would bring to impress an international client with Filipino food.
Price: A lot of the food was a bit pricey even though I liked it. The servings were not that big even if we ended up paying around 600 per head.
Coffee lie in Sentro is always a good idea. Got some to go the other night while dining in Flat Iron. The waiter was kind enough to bring the menu and my order to us.
Don’t remember how much it cost before, but it’s 250 now. Wish it were bigger. It’s really good.

The cocktails - Calamansi and Gin Gimlet were just ok.
Our starter of Fried Kesong Puti balls was very good. So too was the yummy Beef Caldereta with tender beef chunks in a mild stew. Fish, Tofu & Eggplant Torta was tasty!
Buko shaved ice palate cleanser and Halo Halo were good.
They open at 7am. You can park at the basement or street parking on 36th Street. If you do basement parking, you'll have to do some walking to use the elevator to the Ground Floor and some more walking to Sentro. If you do 36th Street parking, it is allowed from 6am to 10am and it's free too. Plus it's a shorter walk to Sentro. I'm pretty sure it's only allowed on the 36th Street portion within the Uptown Mall area and not on the entire length of 36th Street. 🤔
The interior is nice and clean. They have a breakfast menu, but when we inquired about the lunch and dinner menu, it was also available. So we ordered from both. I have no complaints with the food. Look at the pictures I took. If you notice, the hot chocolate cup was half full (or half empty 🤣), but it's so rich that the amount is just right.

We celebrated Grandparent's day here. I loved the ambiance and the interiors. Staffs were very attentive also. This resto serves Filipino dishes with a twist. It was an advanced birthday celebration for me before my balik-bayan friends leave. Since their first restaurant of choice was full-packed, they opted for Sentro 1771 because of its Filipino cuisine. They started to order the following: Sinigang na Corned Beef, Boneless Crispy Trotter, Sizzling Tofu, Fried Kesong Puti, Green Mango Salad and another dish that I could not recall... when I saw the price, I started to get nervous, its my birthday and I guess it's my treat... And then they turned to me to ask my order? I answered, "ok na 'yan, madami na..." LOL! The food was good, but as what was said on Kookie's review, it was an "overpriced spectrum".
But aside from that, I appreciate how their staff were really accommodating, explaining every dish that we asked and was kind enough to volunteer to take our photos. And when the bill came, I started praying and my prayer was heard... my friends told me it's their birthday treat for me...

The home of my favorite, corned beef Sinigang! I like this place because it always feel homey, service is exceptional and they have sumptuous desserts. My recommended dishes are Duck Pancakes, Binagoongan, CRISPY PATA, and Buko Split. I always step out happy whenever I eat here
We celebrated my cousin's birthday here. We ordered beef tapa salad, boneless crispy pata, pancit palabok, catfish adobo flakes, sizzling tofu, kare-kare, and sentro bagoong rice. I love everything we ordered. The ambiance was great. I love the interior. The staffs are friendly but the only one thing I don't like about their service is they always ask customer if their done eating so that they can get the plate and clean up. They should wait until we're done besides our group is the only customer they had that night. Another complain they charge for the cake corkage fee. Even we paid a big amount.
It was a little bit past lunch time when we go here and it's Sunday when we ear here. It was fine, cozy place. I think its a Modern Filipino cuisine, also with a great ambiance. Me and my wifey ordered their specialty, the Sinigang na Corned Beef (Sour stew corned beef soup), also grilled pusit, and bagoong rice. Also unlike other restaurant, which usually serve bottomless iced tea, in sentro 1771, you could order bottomless Sago't Gulaman. The price may be a little bit high, but I think its all worth it after you taste their food.

The ambience was exquisite, I almost felt intimidated coz I was in jeans lolz anyway, I was craving for good old sinigang without the meat so they gave me just the soup with veggies for 80 pesos quite good. Adobo sa puti taste weird though... Staff and service were excellent! I'll be coming back to try breakfast meals for sure.
