The truffle fries and chicken pesto pasta will keep me coming back here.
I ordered the classic Pound Burger and wow, might be the best burger I've ever had. The beef was flavorful and juicy. The price was very affordable, at just a bit over 200 pesos. The place was also classy. 10/10 would eat again
We got Pound burger and one of the pasta dishes and 2 sides. The food was great and came out very quick. Good place for a burger and pasta fix. šš½
I like the ambiance. Lighting is good. We Pound burger + gruyere. Buns were soft yet just right, patties were juicy and tasted great with the gruyere. Fries are similar to that of army navy but less salty. Serving size fits one person's craving for burger, but short for those who have big appetite. Staff is attentive but not welcoming. Maybe because they were all busy in their other responsibilities in the kitchen and bar. The store manager was also busy with her computer. I recommend this place for a date or friendly hang ou
Burgers are delicious! I reco the amsterdam burger and backyard cheeseburger. Their fries are also the bomb! They have combo meals that are very affordable and filling. I will surely go back
Great interiors šš»šš» Black & steel industrial theme.
Spinach and Artichoke Dip: 4.5/5 Rating! One of the best dip I tried! After finishing the flatbread, I spooned the remaining dip - heaaaaveeeeeen.
Truffle Fries: 3.5/5 Rating. Fries are too oily/greasy - i think the truffle taste would compliment well with thick cut fries. The ketchup with truffle oil is good though.
Pound Poutine: 3/5 Rating. Iāve been craving for poutine since my Canadina friend has promised to prep one(unfortunately, we havent had the chance to, and apparently, the correct cheese - itās native to Quebec!) I donāt know what to expect, but the one I tried from Pound doesnāt suit my taste. The cheese is good, but thereās something off with the fries they used. Again, it feels like it would have been better if they used thick cut fries.
Pound for Pound: 3.5/5 Rating. If you want to try their Pound and Chicken burger, but afraid you wonāt finish everything, you can order the Pound for Pound slider. 2 mini burger - Pound burger and Chicken burger. The patties are tasty and juicy, but the buns are dry, bit grainy (?) and didnāt compliment well.
Iād like to try out their other burgers next time.
PS - Iād really like to take their pitcher home LOL. So nice and classy.
Went here on my friend's birthday didn't get to order my own because she already ordered when I got there. I love burgers so I don't really have any negative thing to say except love your burgers š
Their carbonara was very tasty and they definitely pulled off the legit carbonara as stated. Their sliders were super savory and the buns were really cute.
Overall aesthetic of the place was really good, but service was kinda slow
Me and friend of mine came to grab a late snack, we decided to order wings (12pcs, 3 flavours) and pasta pomodoro (which my friend order).
Interior is wonderful, the lighting, the templeāish ancient design with the iron cups, the tables, everything feels very classy.
The wings were good value for money, They cooked properly, served on good time and flavours were very nice (Parmesan flavour was the best). The pasta is a 5 years old tomato pasta, I donāt understand why is it part of the menu. Service was pretty good
I ate here with my family. When we got there, there are no available seats yet to accommodate us all. Make sure you call for reservations to avoid waiting. But thanks to the staff for offering us seats since there are only 2 seats lacking. We managed to wait calmly while waiting for the 2 people beside us to finish their food.
For the food, it is not pricey yet it is delicious. For the caramelized bacon alfredo, I suggest to eat the pasta together with the bacon since eating the pasta alone will be dull. But eating those together at the same time, is perfect! The pizza poutine is surprisingly kind of spicy. I'm not fond of spicy foods so yeah. The good ol fries is what I enjoyed the most.
The place is a little bit crowded but the ambiance is good.
Pound sign is not just for hashtags.
It's another symbol for comfort food.
This is one of those place I frequent in BGC before I travel back to the province where I live.
Awesome, rated numero uno by most burger lovers. Flavour makes your taste buds go for more. The price is kinda expensive, but who cares. The ambience is classy, if you like Brit interiors. The crowd mostly A-listers. Definitely a dining experience worth remembering by.
Awesome staff. Ate here with my friends they had burgers been while I had carbonara and fries. Was disappointed with the serving of the poutine, it says for sharing but it looks like it's only good for one (if you plan to have it as your main?)
Overall, I'd definitely come back and try more of what's on their menu!

Food 4/5
All the foods we tried taste delicious! but I wouldn't say best in town. Must try pastas, pound for pound, and any of their fries.
Ambience 5/5
Nice distinct interiors and small but surprisingly not too stuffy and has better acoustic control than I expected even with several tables filled with laughter and conversations. Nice and clean lavatory too.
Service 2.5/5
Slow, inattentive wait staff. They are busy all the time and do not look customers in the eye. We had to ask for every single thing from getting seated to a glass of water to having the initiative to actually LOOK FOR a waiter who can take our order since we have been given nods by several but no one really approached our table minutes after we've already said to several of them that we were ready to order. The food was quick to be served though from the time the orders were sent in to the kitchen. It's just the staff in the dining area I guess.
Price 4/5
Well, it is one of the more affordable ones for its cuisine in its vicinity and their servings are pretty sulit for the price. Value for money. They have solo orders of pasta for less than 100 pesos and they have promos during the day/off peak dining hours so that is pretty generous with discounts.
Love the ambiance, itās clean and classy. The brick walls are lovely. And the signature gold tin cups make it memorable. Tried the 55 menu and it was good for the price. Will go back to try the main menu! šš¼
The best burger place for me and my partner so far. I mean, gotta be the best if you crave for it all the time! Pound is definitely setting the bar high. Also, they always get the doneness right. Always. Medium rare patty and truffle fries, yesssss!
They serve good burgers and truffle fries. We were here for a casual lunch with a group of colleagues. The only thing I don't like is that you feel super crammed due to limited space and layout of the restaurant

The first thing you'll never fail to notice upon going in is the ambience. From the utensils, dishes, service, furniture, the overall vibe is elegant. Also, who ever knew hamburgers could look so fancy?
POUND by renowned chef Todd English, along High Street is one of those comfort places you would like to visit frequently. Unpretentious, good, tasty, value for money food, coupled with quick, efficient, friendly service makes this place a favorite.
I like bringing friends to POUND. We all leave with full bellies without gouging out the wallet. The interior is gothic-vaulted interior. Refreshing change from all the brightly-lit, pastelish interiors of other joints.
Once seated, service is at hand and once you order, it takes mere minutes for your food to arrive. They have an outside seating area too, which works for us, as we always have our canine friend along.
They run specials here, good, value for money treats that's sure to satisfy. They offer Dollar sliders, pasta, fries and milkshakes (yes, the all time accompaniment to burgers!) and onion rings - all done right.
The fries have been properly blanched beforehand so they come out nice and crisp. The slider is enough to satiate one's hunger pangs - tender, juicy, delicious burger patty encased in a good quality bun.
The creamy tomato pasta is simply likeable - I always finish two orders mahself! Its well prepared and is brought quick to the table.
The milkshakes come in vanilla and chocolate, and well, you just gotta try both. Delish is the word to describe it.
Service is tops here as they're quick and efficient to attend to one's needs. Cheerful Keren and Jeff along with the rest never fail to put on a smile. Nothing better than to see bright, smiling faces from the staff.
Our doggie always gets a bowl of iced water, pronto! And we feel welcome everytime we visit. Overall, this is a place you'll like and remember with fondness.
High quality food for a good price! The crew was also very accommodating and the ambiance is amazing. Caramelized Bacon Alfredo pasta was my favorite!!!
This one converted me to being a burger lover. We had their beef moco, backyard cheeseburger and goat salad. The bread of the burger is probably the softest i've had ever. The patties are the juicy and tasty too, it's pleasant to eat. Worth every penny š
I'm a fan of the poutine and pasta it was sooooo tasty! If you want to try something new please visit pound and their service is very good! Highly recommended
What you will love about Pound is quality food for a good price! Initially, I had reservations about dining here because I was under the impression that they would be a bit pricey considering they were franchised by Todd English. But I was pleasantly surprised that their prices were actually quite reasonable for the quality and portion of their food.
We ordered the T.E. Crispy Chicken Burger, Backyard Cheeseburger, and a side of their Truffle Fries. We definitely preferred the Crispy Chicken Burger over the Cheeseburger, as it was packed with flavor and had a nice spicy kick to it. The truffle fries were sublime šš½
The entire aesthetic and ambiance of the place is pretty spot on. You can never go wrong with white walls and a mix industrial and contemporary touched.
Will definitely be back!
If you are looking for a filling but not overwhelming burgers then this place is a must. Very tasty and juicy. Place has a great location, very easy to find and not too crowded. Perfect for dinner dates but on budget since prices arent that expensive.
The food was great. Perfect for snacks and they also offer rice meals which are very tasty. The prices of food was reasonable. For sure, I'll be back here.
Good location, great food!
We had our quick lunch here and ordered Pound for Pound and T.E. Burger. Food is great, cozy ambiance and not crowded compared to other restaurants in High Street. However, the service is so-so, not very accommodating.
Got curious what they are serving inside since the name and interior looks high-end. Surprisingly they are serving affordable burgers! I ordered the secret menu burger and it's good! Fresh and meaty. But the truffle risotto tater tots side is kinda bland. But would definitely come back for their burgers.
Simply one of the best restaurants in BGC. Love the ambiance, food is affordable BELIEVE ME, and I love their poutine. Perfect for a romantic date!
Great food. Great ambiance although i think the place is kind of small? Great service. Must try if you are a person who likes burgers. They also offer salads, pasta and fries.
Food was Great, ambiance was good, staff are attentive. Love the Amsterdam burger and the ketchup truffle fries :) Love the Nice copper mugs too. :)
Their sliders and burgers is always good especially when you pair it with the amazing truffle fries surely youāll gonna have a good meal and also, never forget to try their goat cheese salad as well! Itās also delicious!
Burger quality is well worth the price, and the truffle fries are just great! Milkshakes are a bit pricey considering that theyāre pretty small, but overall a good place to eat!
One of my favorite go to burger! Looks expensive if you order Ala Carte but actually really cheap if you will take the deals! Tried their Backyard Cheeseburger, the thing i love the most with their burgers is their Bun. Slightly toasted. Beef was tender and juicy. I just donāt like the tomatoes they use. Fries, Truffle fries is the best! I donāt eat fries before but now I am starting to like it! Also, their Alfredo is MUST try. I repeat a MUST try. I just love it so much even though Iām not a pasta lover. Food waiting time was quite fast. Will definitely and will always go back.
I highly recommend this outlet because of the ambience. The food was good too especially the Caramelized Bacon Alfredo. Itās not too creamy.
I tried the Foie Gras Burger. Ginawa kong 1,000 peso burger. Hmmm sulit ba? I think yes! Foie gras is so buttery and tender. Yung bacon panalo! And the patty is so juicy.
#TheChuiShow
Initially thought that the food here will be super expensive (interiors were extremely insta-worthy!). Upon checking the menu, you can even order spaghetti for only P80! Food did not disappoint! Tried the sliders, poutine and carbonara, all were good. Service can be improved though, servers were really not that attentive.
Pound by Todd English always have good quality meat inside great tasting burgers. I picked the #Backyard double cheeseburger with fried egg and Good ol fries, along with the onion ring cube. It was very nice. Would recommend it. The ambience is engaging and the servers are attentive. Give this place a go when youāre in the High Street area.
I do really love the burger and fries in pound moa.. pls have a delivery service or branch in las piƱas.. too difficult for me to order as I canāt reach pound in food panda.. as a pregnant women this would be more convenient to order.. plssssssss
Great food and ambiance. Burgers are a bit small for my liking but the service is awesome. Itās true what they say less on the menu means better quality food
Obsessed with Poundās ambiance especially here at their High Street branch. Very classy restaurant, extremely great service and best food as well!!
I super love their Truffle Risotto Tater Tots, ughhh a FAVORITEEE!! Itās actually addicting, you should try it. And the Portobello Mushroom Sliders is a must-try, cannot explain how good it was! If youāre not a fan of burgers, you can try the Sizzling Pound Moco, youāll definitely love how flavourful and tender their patties are.
Tried everything their dollar menu. It looks like those were samplers of most of their dish on their menu. However, their crispy goat cheese salad is soooo good. You can see how they prepare your food. Place is too dim, though.
One super rainy day I was browsing Zomato and run through Pound.
I was a little skeptical of the price list as I am used to getting good burgers at price range between 350-500php.
When my kids and I got inside the restaurant, the interiors was the first thing that stuck me. The restau had this cozy, nicely lit ambiance.
For its price list, the Pound is worth it to be visited. Everything we ordered tasted great. The staff were attentive and checks for any needs from time to time. Definitely coming back!
I love the food here especially the burger, big and so delicious ā¤ You can add more paties, cheese, etc. if you want and their menus are all affordable. The staff here is so courteous as well and always wear a smile when they serve your order āŗ
The place has this underground motif that just feels foreign, I don't know about you but this pairs well with the food experience. Their sliders are so good, with every bite you'd want to chew for as long as you can just to cherish the flavor.
Just today, we were supposed to jog, but ended up looking and buying some shoes here at BGC. And we played some arcade games at Timeszone. Ha ha ha. :)
Then we dine here at POUND T.E.
We ordered, Amaterdam Burger, T.E Burger, Pomodoro Pasta, Pizza fries, and flourless chocolate cake.
The Amsterdam and T.E burger almost taste the same. The Amsterdam burger ha this ham I guess with cheese. The burgers has a generous amount of beef, surprisingly thick, which is dope. Enough to fill your stomach. Bu the way I asked for a ketchup, and it level ups the flavor. :)
The Pomodoro pasta was good especially if you east the garlic in it. Super nice. It compliments to the taste.
The Pizza fries, was okay, it has a sauce of Pomodoro, and tightened up with pizza cheese. Dope concept. Good for mirenda or movie snack maybe.
Flourless chocolote cake has a vanilla ice cream on top. I would say nothing crazy or special. But it taste good.
The ambiance was quite nice, and has a classy looks. The staffs are very attentive which is cool.
Next time we will try their sliders new promo, 99php from 2-5pm. :)
Yes yes yes! I finally tried their sliders too. The presentation of their food is great as well as the taste of their food. Will try their best burger soon!
nice ambiance and great tasting burger.Ā We ordered Amsterdam, TE Burger with extra cheese and Backyard Cheeseburger. Everything is awesome except for the fries (there's nothing special about it). The area is cozy and I like the interior design.

FOOD: 4/5 | SERVICE: 5/5 | AMBIANCE: 5/5
Backyard Double Cheeseburger - this is a legit high-end burger with patties that could cause a serious heart attack, lol. Kidding aside, their patty puts Pound ahead of most of it's competition when it comes to Burger conversation. The burger is huge and just this can make you full.
I didn't give a perfect grade because of its pricey fries which is not worth it.
The service is very good, the staff are very attentive and serving time is fast, much like the service in their MOA branch.
The european style (if I'm not mistaken and correct me if I'm wrong) subway-like appeal of the resto which is same with every branch legitimize it as a high-end burger joint. Top it up with a cleanliness and the comfort of the place, PERFECT!
My partner and I decided to eat here after a long day. We tried their caesar salad first. Loved the dressing and you can tell that the greens are fresh at the first bite. Next is we ordered the Caramelized Bacon Alfredo, it has a rich and creamy sauce that I really liked. They have the best burgers in town! First time to eat a burger with caramelized onions and I didn't expect that it will add an interesting flavor to the burger patty. Lastly, we went for a dessert having the Flourless Chocolate Cake. It was topped with vanilla ice cream drizzled with caramel syrup, the taste is perfection. We will definitely go back.
Had a one pound burger menu and went in to try out. Patty was juicy and fresh made as compared to burger chains around. Every item in the menu is freshly made. Mushroom sliders were amazing
We were strolling along High Street and was called in to Pound by their $1 menu posted outside their restaurant. Weāve always enjoyed Pound everytime weāve had it. Our visit here was no exception; however, our experience at Pound BGC wasnāt as exceptional as the ones we had in Megamall.
First, there was a foul stench when we came in. We were seated across the bar where food was prepared and wondered why rather then smelling food, we were smelling their comfort room (?). This
was almost quickly remedied though, even before we had finished placing our order.
Second, taste of their sliders were inconsistent with what we were accustomed to at the Megamall branch. Not bad, just slightly different.
This burger place on High Street has always served the highest quality burgers and beer whenever I have visited. The service staff are very approachable and actively listen to every concern. The beer extension does need work - too many local beers - but they still had a Heineken on the menu. Burgers and poutine (a rarity in Manila) will kill any diet you may have. I especially recommend the truffle fries and the secret menu burger.
These burgers are to die for. Pound by Todd English serves your favorite classic burgers each with their own innovations and twists.
The regular Todd English Burger is stuffed with fresh garnish, lettuce and tomatoes, and crispy shoestrings that all compliment the thick and juicy beef patty wedged between the buns. This dish will only set you back 195 pesos.
Other appetizers such as the Risotto Tater Tots will literally leave you wanting more. For only 75 pesos, you are given several (around 7-8 pieces) crunchy breaded balls stuffed with a mix of Risotto and cheese. This is definitely a must try.
Pound also has other alternatives to beef such as chicken and mushroom burgers that are equally delicious and affordable.
Known for having burgers and sliders, this place thankfully had other non-beef options like chicken and mushroom, which was perfect for me, since I havenāt eaten beef for about 8 years. š
The first photo features what I hadā the TE Crispy Chicken Burger, which had a deep fried chicken fillet, a sour crispy pickled slaw, a dark sweet and spicy soy based sauce, and a cilantro aioli spread in between 2 hamburger buns with the pound sign branded on the top. š
The next photo features my selection, along with my friendās choice of Portobello Mushroom Sliders with the addition of Foie Gras slices. The mushroom was the patty and protein of the dish, along with the usualā caramelized onions, fried onions, lettuce and a cilantro aioli sauce, in between 2 cute and tiny hamburger buns. ā¤ļø
Overall, Iād recommend the TE Crispy Chicken Burger to try out because it had this spiciness that I really liked, along with the crunchiness of the slaw and the overall blend of flavors that worked well with the chicken. š By the way, remember to ask the server for their secret menu before orderingā itās usually exciting stuff that you donāt find often. (Just didnāt get it this time because the patty was beef š)
Eating here was a great experience. Love the ambiance, though because of the weather it tends to be a bit stuffy in there.Ā
If you are a lover of bacon, this is the place for you. Never have I encountered a resto that serves such generous portions of it. Instead of the usual paper-thin bacon strips, they serve it in slabs! This may be overwhelming to some...Ā
The pasta is good; a bit on the dry side. Though you could tell that it's not their specialty.Ā
Service is great! The servers are polite & attentive.
Their Pound Pomodoro is SUPERB and the best I ever had so far.. its saucy compared to other that is dry. Also for a reasonable price that will not cost you more than 200 for a full size serving (and thats different from their solo order which is P80 only)
Pound by Todd English makes a gooooooodddd tasty chicken burger, absolutely loved it. I had the TE chicken burger and the Sliders, both were definitely worth it, had to walk to off afterwards but great fries and drink. My husband and I loved the burgers, as we do the burgers from Todd English. Excellent service and good ambience
So my friend and i were looking for a cheap place to eat because he said that heās saving. On the other hand, here i am tired of looking for a place to eat and i said, letās just eat there (points my finger at Pound) because im already tired. Allow me to treat you so you dont have to spend.
Anyway, ao we got there. The ambiance was really nice. We were surprised that they have $1 food choices (P50 pesos), which included slider burgers, pasta, truffle fries, onion rings, etc. Since Iām with a guy, we ordered 9 of their $1 menu (we didnt notice we ordered 9). I told him, hey, if we reach P1,000, we get another free slider burger. But when the bill arrived, it only cost us P475 (inclusive of service charge and VAT)! Itās so cheap that our coffee and dessert from another restaurant turned out to be more expensive. Hahaha.
So anyway, with regard to what we ate, the truffle fries were okay. The slider burgers were okay for the price (around 2-3 bites each). I didnt like the onion rings thag much. The pomodoro was good! But of course, given the price, the serving size is small.
Overall, not bad at all! All the servers were nice. :)
I came here solo. My tukayo served me.
I loved their Betty White Brownie very much. Felt like heaven. Lol. Not really a fan of burger but I enjoyed their backyard cheeseburger. The serving size was just enough for my tummy. They have a very peaceful ambience with good music overheard. The staff were friendly. Thanks Pound by TE.
dined here last week. tried the chicken burger and it's awesome! so worth the price. you should go here if you are really craving for an affordable yet satisfying burger. order it with their poutine!! it says there that the serving of the poutine is normally for 2 persons, but whatever, one could finish it by himself!
.
ambiance is pretty dark, candles on the middle, and it's kind of romantic. they have unique glasses, btw, and unique onion rings, too!
not sure where my other pics of pound are but i love the chicken burger as well. when we first tried the truffle fries, it was to die for. when we went back, not so anymore. but their burgers are good and well priced

We come here a lot as we really like their burgers, pretty affordable for real beef burgers at just 198.00. We like how its simply seasoned with salt and pepper. I particularly like that they have sliders, which are actually bigger than the normal ones, especially the chicken slider.Ā
The foie gras burger is amazing. For about 800.00, you get a juicy burger with a fair sized slab of foie gras.
Trying this burger outlet.looks like their soft opening.the staff is approachable but they are busy talking to each other.waiting for them to notice us.nothing new for a expensive typical burger.Ambiance is good.little bit dark (maybe they are trying to cut expense of electricityš)
I tried the Backyard Cheeseburger. For the price (P280), I had big expectations but the actual taste is just a bit above average. Which is still good! It's juicy and very cheesy. Goes well with the Parmesan fries.
Foie gras burger. Enough said.
I haven't tried their other burgers, but looking at the menu, their burgers are reasonably priced given that they don't skimp on quality.
My favorite from their menu is Amsterdam. The sliders are okay but you need to try the big ones. People there are also friendly and accommodating.
Hubby and I were in the mood for some gourmet burger and decided to give Pound by Todd English a try since we always pass by it on our strolls in HighStreet.
Starving from a busy day, we each ordered dinner. I had the Pound Foie Gras Burger and some # Truffle Fries.
It was my first time tasting Foie Gras which was duck liver. I was a fan of chicken liver since I was a kid so I imagined duck liver would be good. Lo and behold, it was better! It was so creamy and tasty, I thought I just died and went to heaven. I had this overwhelmed look on my face while I was praising and devouring my burger.
While hubby had the # Backyard Cheese Burger which was very tasty and juicy! A definite win in our book.
An assured happy and satistfied customer here, we'll be coming back for more.
The vibe is very fancy so its a bit intimidating to enter the restaurant but the price speaks otherwise. The foodās not that pricey but the serving was a little small. The TE fries was utterly amazing! Its a bit soggy but still tastes good. Love their burgers and ambiance. Overall, its a good upscale merienda place with your date.
