I still can't get past my noodle cravings for the past few weeks. I think it may be because the weather is still a bit cold. Here is another one of my favorite ramen places, Ramen Nagi located at SM Aura. For those who have not yet tried Ramen Nagi, this is not your typical Ramen restaurant. At Ramen Nagi, you can customize your own ramen. From the richness of the soup to the tenderness of the noodles. You can make it your own taste. One thing though, this is the only restaurant that does not allow take out. The reason is that the ramen that they make easily spoils.

This is not the first time that I've eaten in Ramen Nagi but it is my first time at this branch. I guess we were the first customer that arrived on that day. Saw the limited king, the tokyo sukiyaki and tried that one out.
Our orders:
- Tokyo Sukiyaki Limited King: Suppperb! I really love the meaty beef broth! I'm not a fan of tofu but surprisingly, I ate all the tofu! The softness of the tofu is perfectly paired with the broth! Hope that they will have this again and make it always on the menu!
- Red King: my partner always orders red king. She likes the spiciness that is so perfect with the broth, noodles, meat and everything in it! I also tried this one out too!
- Aurora Shrimp: I love the perfect deep fried shrimp that comes with the sauce (medyo bitin ang sauce) and crispy fried noodles na pwedeng papakin! Also tried it with gyoza's dip. It's good!
- Gyoza: Honestly, I kind of don't like the gyoza here at ramen Nagi because maybe i'm not used to it? But hey, that won't stop me from eating and coming back to Ramen Nagi whenever I want ramen.
Also, the place is nice. Not too crowded and kind of relaxing especially when facing outside, you can see the sky and fountain.
Nice service! Thou its a bit expensive for the price. The place is quite small and intact. Food was great but the service charge is unreasonable
Tried the Black Volcano King yesterday and was delighted of the taste. For me, it's actually a fusion of Black and Red King and if you are a fan of either or both, you will like it, too!
The nuts and Bok Choy adds to the crunch and the fire sauce and the black sauce gives the 'oomph' overall. I ordered Level 10 for the spiciness, but they gave me the lighter level. Maybe I'll request next time to put fire sauce in front of me so they'll know how serious I am on knowing how spicy Level 10 is. 😅
Overall, the best of both worlds for me! Hope they keep it in the menu! 🥰🥰🥰
Food is great... same with other Ramen Nagi branch. The difference are their staff, restaurant ambiance and cleanliness. Staff in this branch are very friendly and accommodating. And considering that this is the first branch of Ramen Nagi in the Philippines, I could say that this branch has more Japanese vibe and decorations which gives me a more Japanese feels.
We finally got to try Ramen Nagi after being recommended by a friend. I must say it did not disappoint. We went here around 1:00 PM on a Sunday after watching a movie, and as expected on a Sunday and around lunchtime the place is full. We were fifth on the waiting list, but it didn't take 10 mins before we were finally seated.
We ordered the Butao ramen, my friend got hers for free because July is her birthmonth. We both had normal on the preference for the broth, thin noodles, garlic, and shoulder for the pork part. We also added tamago egg and nori. My level of spiciness is 1 and hers is 3. It was served within 15 mins, and well, it was delicious to say the least. 😀 The broth was tasty. The noodles were cooked perfectly, the pork shoulder was so soft, and the egg and nori made it tastier.
We also order chashu rice and gyoza. Both dish were also perfect. The gyoza was so soft and tasty, and you can tell that it's freshly made because of how it taste. The chashu rice that my friend had was also delicious, because the pork toppings was tasty. We were so full that we weren't able to finish our ramen. I guess that's the only downside to this, is that it had such generous servings that sometimes you can't consume everything that's in front of you.
Anyway, overall it was a good dining experience because the staff are nice and attentive, and it doesn't take long to get your bill. I'll probably be back. Thank you. 😊
Ramen nagi!! My ultimate ramen place. The first place that made me love ramen. Definitely as must try and a place where you will come back. Plus points is that they have quite a number of branches so finding one near you is not a problem.

I love the look of the place! You’d really feel like you’re in Japan! The food is great and I like that I can customize my own ramen. The service is also great.
One of my favorite ramen place around the city. 😁✌️💕 I love the Red King! 💕💕💕
I don't think I'll ever get tired of their ramen, bec it's simply superb and yummy! I usually eat here with my friends if we crave for ramen.
Butao ramen with egg, please. And their chicken karaage. A bit pricey but they always ensure that their noodles are fresh and what I like about this place is that it’s one of the authentic ramen place you could ever ask for.
Itadakimasu! 🍜
Butao Ramen, Original Chicken Karaage, & Gyoza. A perfect combo for a foodie merienda.
Ramen Nagi in SM Aura is always a good place to head over whether it is for lunch, merienda, or dinner. There is usually enough seats for everyone, and the crew is always nice, friendly, and attentive. I like how people can mind their own business here, chill, eat, and enjoy their food. Plus the quality of the food has always been good, and it never disappointed me for all those times I went here.
I have visited the place plenty of times, and of course, given the satisfaction I always got for my every visit, I'll definitely return. And enjoy.

Read on if you want to know how to avail of their BOGO promo and/or to get as much as 35% off your bill.
It’s been a while, Ramen Nagi! Didn’t realize until now how much I missed this. 😋 Their ramen is still so verrrrrry good! I always choose the thin noodles (normal). Haven’t really been craving for ramen in Manila for quite some time now due to the (really) hot weather. But the past days, we’ve been blessed with rain, making it the perfect weather for a piping hot bowl of ramen! ☔️ And even better (⚠️ Promo Alert in case you didn’t know), my companion got to claim his FREE bowl of Butao Ramen on his BIRTHDAY MONTH and the only requirment was that I, as the accompanying 1 paying customer, got a Butao Ramen bowl too - pretty good deal, right? 👌🏼 That’s ₱400+ in savings!
I thought I’d share some tips on how I enjoyed my Butao Ramen yesterday. 1) Refer to above for deets on their Birthday 🎉 promo; 2) Order the Sesame Q 🥒 for only ₱160 as a refreshing appetizer or chaser in between slurps of your rich ramen; 3) Take advantage of the unli condiments🧂on the table such as the peppery beansprouts which I mixed in my ramen but imagine would be delicious as is (papakin while waiting for your order or eat together with the sesame cucumbers!); 3) Nicely ask for additonal fresh garlic, which used to be readily available on the table but now only upon request; and 4) Take note that “Pork Belly” 🐷 in the order sheet means a large chunk of pork and not the thin slices - am I the only one who doesn’t know this?! 🤷🏻♀️ It was still deliciously tender but next time I’m encircling “shoulder” for my choice of meat. ☺️
I can’t wait to go back while we’re enjoying some cool weather in Manila (plus some branches like Aura, 30th & Magnolia are on the free Eatigo reservation app too for as much as 35% off your food bill. You can use my referral code EatigoRia when you register for the first time for additonal credits in Eatigo.)
Butao ramen is good! Every bowl is different as you have the freedom to customize it. Pork belly was melt in your mouth. Broth is rich and flavorful.
Ordered the Butao King, chose the chef recommendation for the qualities of the ramen, hard thin noodles is still the best way to enjoy your ramen, broth was rich and flavourful, adding some crushed garlic and sesame further enhanced the richness of the broth. Pork shoulder was thinly sliced, very tender, and wonderfully seasoned.
Still one of the best ramen.
This is worth it when you book thru Eatigo (50%off). The place has a great ambience and you can customize your order using their checklist. Black King (Kuroo) is yummy but I would recommend Original King (Butao). I like its taste better.

Ramen Nagi is one of my go-to places to eat ramen. SM Aura's Ramen Nagi branch is by far my most favorite because it's peaceful and comfortable, it's not crowded. Staffs are very accommodating and friendly. Food is good. I recommend their Original King and Black King Ramen. For side dish, Gyoza and Pork Katsu roll are the best to order.

One of the most affordable ramen places for me and still very very tasty and good. It feels authentic and its taste is something worth craving and coming back for! Aside from other good ramen places, this is part of my go to places. Also their Greenbelt branch is good and consistent. Good service, good quality, the best!
In the philippines, food variation from the different cuisines is vast. Ramen, for one, is a hit! You’ll be able to find a number of them particularly in Manila.
Upon entering the restaurant, a leader of the staff will yell a Japanese greeting (I am assuming) followed by the rest of the staff’s greeting. It is a special touch.
We ordered Butao ramen. You need to specify your order by noting your preferences down (i.e. hardness of noodles, spiciness, etc.). The ramen tasted good, perfect spiciness level as I preferred. The same reason why we keep coming back. Tamago (soft boiled egg) is not automatically come with ramen, you will need to tick it off the list to get it included. Perfect soft boiled egg! Love it. The pork is quite tender and not over-cooked.
I just wish they have a back door area to go to the kitchen as we see containers of packed ramen soup. We saw few server walking pass the operations/dining area going to the open kitchen area. It gave me a different impression.
Would definitely visit again on out next visit.
Was able to avail the 50% discount thru eatigo. Service was slow, the crew forgot about our chasiu rice order so it was served late. What’s unique about Ramen Nagi is you can customize how you like your ramen, specially the flavor/umami and level of spiciness. We were able to taste all 4 and the best one for me is the Black King— rich and flavorful. Green King is also a must try, it’s like a ramen version of your favorite pesto pasta. If you’re not that adventurous Butao King wouldn’t disappoint. Flavor is light but doesn’t fall short on the taste. Red King is recommended for those who want that extra spice.
We also got the chicken/karaage and it was also good. The only setback is the price. I recommend using eatigo to savor on their ramen without breaking the bank.
Got my very first taste of ramen here at ramen nagi. I ordered king butao and the taste is very similar to Balut (a very popular street food in the Philippines), which is very flavorful 😁
I haven't tried the others yet, but one thing I noticed is that, here at ramen nagi, you have to pay separately if you want tamago, nori, etc. added to your ramen unlike others where they're already included in the ramen with almost the same price.
Creaminess of the soup is just right but will surely awaken your taste buds.
Noodles are good, chasu is so soft. But i am afraid i cannot go here often as my cholesterol level is going up :)
Highly recommended.
Comfort place to have a bowl of hot ramen. It’s so interesting that they will have seasonal menu aside from their usual menu. Keep checking for it since it’s changing pretty fast.
THE BEST RAMEN IN TOWN!! Been in Ippudo, Mendokoro, Ukkokei, Ramen Kuroda and all i can say RAMEN NAGI IS THE BEST!! Been also in japan and tried so many ramen and RAMEN NAGI is like the most authentic ramen here in philippines that taste like ramen in japan. RAMEN NAGI NEVER DISAPPOINT ME!! ❤️

Butao King is KING! Ramen Nagi can take my money as long as they continue their quality of great tasting ramen. To see my recommendation, see pics posted along with this review. I love my ramen noodles firm and hard. Shoulders with cabbage and heavy on the garlic with 1/2 spice - just right not enough to kill the taste. Soup stock is perfect. Highly recommended.
Went back to this branch after not dining here for a while, and I was surprised they were able to seat us immediately at 7 PM on a Monday (maybe because there are so many other ramen places out there already). We took advantage of their birthday blowout promo and ordered a few other things. The food came quickly and, as usual, they tasted great. There was just one additional Butao we ordered late because one of our friends didn't arrive with us, and we had to wait for that Butao for more than 15 minutes. Considered that a one-off though because the restaurant was already more packed then and every other time we dine at any Ramen Nagi they get our orders to us in less than 10-15 minutes anyway.

A great place for an awesome lunch with friends. Worth another try. The spiciness of the ramen are customizable but be careful not to stick with that high level of spiciness as it gets really hot. 1/2 the tolerable for me.

From all Ramen Nagi branches, this one is the most we’ve been to because it’s so close to our gym haha! From all our visits, the experience was okay considering we always go there near closing time. Ramen Nagi’s birthday promo was very timely because it was Limuel’s birth month. Though the date has passed, he still got to experience free ramen. His usual was the Red King but according to the staff the Butao King was the only variant that was allowed to be ordered, so we just had his chili adjusted to 10. Upon arrival of the ramen, I noticed this pungent smell that’s very different from usual. I’m not sure where it came from because taste wise the food was okay, but we suspected that it came from the noodles. Also, we ordered light broth but our broth didn’t look and taste light at all. We’re not sure if the staff were new or were tired already that’s why they’re had everything mixed up because previous experiences were okay. I hope we won’t have encounters like this on our future visits.
One of the best ramen in town.
For my last visit, We ordered Red King with Nori, Green King, Gyoza, Pork Katsu Roll, Cucumber with Sesame Seeds and Fried Shrimp w/ Tartar Sauce.
Everything is delicious and tasty. We are all satisfied with our cravings.
The place is clean, the service is fast and the price is reasonable.
Always loves their original buta ramen!
The place is quite comfy and not really crowded.
Price is also affordable.
Tips: if you don’t you’re clothes dirty, just request the bib.
Service is excellent!

Ramen Nagi sure exceed my expectation. All kind of ramen is delicious. I give 5 star because they have some kind of customize ramen and also the crew was so kind and friendly
Ordered Black King noodles. Thought a lot. Chose the hardest noodles. At saka the most rich broth. Tasted. Mendokoro? No. Ippudo? Still a no. Not as rich. Good noodles? Yes. The best ones? Hindi pala. Cold tea. Ayaw ko.

You can select the spicy level of your ramen. Mine was 10 :) and its so spicy!!
You should their 7 spice chicken too.. 'twas good!
Customer service 👍👍
We always go back here as a family every weekend. Favorite is the Butao King, our comfort food. It's like a milk to an infant. Broth is unmatched and the thin noodles are so delicious especially when they are customized as very firm.
The most authentic ramen I tasted here in the Philippines. Taste is just like the ramen in Japan.
You’ll be filling out a piece of paper for your order. You can choose on how your ramen will be serve.
We’ve also tried the curry rolls, my BF liked it but for me it taste weird.
5/5 For Ramen
5/5 For Ambience
5/5 For the Chef and crews
Ramen here is good and affordable. Butao King is my go to ramen here. Never gets old. Just the right richness. Loved their birthday month promo.
Authentic ramen.
Black king is good for sharing. I can’t finish it up. The first time I tried it talagang walang natira e. Anyway, it’s flavorful and satisfying. But just to complete a day, I’ll go with green king pa rin. :) We always go back here when we feel like rewarding ourselves from a hard work week 😇
5/5 My fourth time eating here. And they are all so nice. The Ramen is superb. But the gyoza is okay not really a fan. I recommend the Chicken Karaage more. :)
Best ramen I've ever tasted so far. The soup is very flavorful and addicting. The staffs are very attentive and approachable. The ambiance is very good. Will definitely come back.
I opted for the black ramen this time. It was pretty good, but the green is still my favorite.. i like how theres enough chasu (2 thin but wide slices). The sui gyoza was pretty good as well.
Since I had lotsa soup, extra noodles! 😊
Super filled! Burp.
The staff were all attentive and polite! Kudos!
Shout out to the lady who greeted me at the door, seated me and assisted all the way.
Most coziest branch I've been and best service. I ordered their Green King and the broth is very good. The herb flavor is very appealing. I chose belly part for my chashu and it is huge making me full once i've finished my bowl.
I'm looking for authentic Ramen house. For quite a long time. And i can say this is the best so far of all the ramen I've taste before.. you can customize your ramen in your own way from the taste to the texture of the noodle to be use, and don't forgot the add the spicy level of your Ramen

Ramen Nagi. A place to try if you are craving for some authentic ramen taste. But also nice to share it with friends.
Ramen nagi is still my number 1 ramen! Im always craving for green king! My favorites in one: ramen and pesto. I just wish that there will be an option to add more pesto in the ramen hahaha
Pros: super yum ramen. Must try spicy ramen or black ramen. You’ll want to come back for more. Also they have a special for birthday months
Cons: you maybe asked to share tables with strangers sometimes. But your love of ramen and the tasty food will make you overlook this🙂
The ramen tastes so good for a pickiest eater like me. They are famous for their Butao King which we order on Chef’s recommendation. Location is nice and the staffs are very accommodating. This has been a comfort food for me.
This has been my go-to place for my ramen cravings. I love how each bowl of ramen satisfies my tummy. The service is good and the place is quite small but enough to accommodate guests.
Very good caldereta ramen! Also like their original butao king. Friendly and accommodating staff.
Maybe they can do something with the airconditioning, been there twice and the place is warm.

[Straight forward rating. Easy reading, quick reference.... every time]
This is actually our second favorite ramen house after Mendokoro. I love how Ramen Nagi is easily accessible. It is the perfect Ramen place when you feel the sudden crave to eat ramen specially on this rainy weather. My personal favorite is the Butao king and I customize it to my preferred taste. I actually like my ramen a bit spicy so this is the very good ramen for me. Their gyoza is okay, not the best gyoza I tasted but I is good. My favorite side dish is definitely the curry spring roll (not included in the photos). It is very unique and delicious.
Ramen Nagi is our go to ramen place for a quick ramen fix specially when we don’t want to wait in line for hours. Lol
Probably one of the best place for Ramen cravings. This definitely stole the second spot on my Top 5 ramen place in the metro. Firm noodles and that soup base was just unforgettable.
Ambiance was amazing
Service crew were attentive and polite
Clean place
Final Rating: 5 stars
The food was great. The serving of ramen was huge. One serving can be shared by two person if you're not that hungry. 😂 Fast service and the employees were nice too. But the drawback was the unexpected amount of service charge. But overall it was a great experience. My tummy's full!!
My comfort food is ramen and this is the only ramen house I recommend to friends and family. I love all their ramen. I usually try their limited/special editions. They usually change it after 10 days or 2 weeks I think. So we come here like twice a month so we won’t miss out their special ramen. This is addiction! I love Ramen Nagi!!!
Ramen is so famous right now and one of the known place to eat ramen is here, Ramen Nagi.
A little pricey, pero sulit naman ang lasa kaya keri na!
Not all Ramen Nagi branches are the same. SM Aura branch consistently gives the creamier version of the butao king. We pair our ramen with karaage.
I was converted to a Ramen fan because of Ramen Nagi. Definitely my favorite Ramen. I keep on coming back to their chewy noodles and hearty broth. I find the karaage a little too "gingery" for my liking. Other than that, I always feel that every peso spent here is worth it!
I finally got to try their Green King! 💚👑 I've always been intrigued by this flavor, as from the menu itself, it was described as a fusion dish, which is obviously influenced by Italian cuisine, as what makes it green is pesto. It did smell like a legitimate pesto dish! The aroma it gave surely was appetizing! Though at first, it may seem like the whole dish is swimming in olive oil, but it sure isn't upon stirring everything, and taking the first sips of its heavy broth. It was very flavorful! It's like a cross between a Butao, and some pesto pasta dish! The pork belly was soft, and tender which was good. The topping though, unassumingly, was a combination of bread crumbs, and parmesan. I actually thought it was pure parmesan cheese, which I think would've been better. Though just for this branch, it was a bit tough, and chewy, I paired this bowl with my Ramen Nagi favorite, a plate of Aurora Shrimp. Over-all, this branch served me well.

This is the best Ramen! I swear! You must try this. ❤️ Medyo pricey pero super sulit! Babalik at babalik kayo. One more good thing about Nagi is they have limited ramen king flavors every month. 😍 My favorite so far is their crab king. 💕
Today is Mother's Day a Special day so we decided to eat from special place too..
I've heard Ramen Nagi from famous youtubers this is one of the Ramen place they recommended, Starting from the place the place offers a japanese vibe with motif of black red and white.the menu has a few selection other than of course ramen.
The food.
The food we ordered are ramen of course specifically Butao with pork Belly and Chicken Karaage all of the servings are good for two people which we did not anticipate.
Over all the price of the food is worth it the food is abomb.we'll definitely be back and try other ramen and dishes :)
Ciao!
My friend has long been inviting me to try Ramen Nagi. I already some go-to restaurants for my Ramen cravings and after some ramen fails I’ve had, I stopped experimenting other places. Good thing I did here!! I love that you can literally modify everything to your liking. I had the butao king. It’s really really good! Serving time was pretty quick and so was finishing the bowl because it was so good! New favorite! ❤️
one of the best ramen house for me. i love everything from the food to the ambiance and interior design. the noodles was firm, the pork, egg and everything taste so good. worth every penny. service is also good.
Red King / Akao with garlic, chili oil, cayenne pepper, miso minced pork, and chashu. 410 pesos. I like my noodles extra hard, with normal richness, cabbage and pork belly. Spicy level 1.
I happen to like spicy food, but I always err on the side of caution with ordering something that's too hot. Whenever we're here I always order the Butao with spicy level 1, and just add more chili oil to my liking. I decided to test my guts by ordering the Akao this time. The ball of minced pork enticed me, it reminded me of a tantanmen. I would've loved to order a rich broth instead of normal, I'm just worried about all the fat in it.
I was sweating after the first few slurps. I could tolerate it but I guess I prefer lowering the heat level by just a smidgen. We were laughing as the H lovingly wiped the pawis from my forehead. Like with other instances I wasn't able to finish my noodles. Good thing my son was with us because he took my spicy noodles and added it to his Butao. He can't take the heat of my broth. The H ordered a Butao too, level 6. I think I can manage a 4 after trying the 6. The type of heat from a Butao is surprisingly different from that of the Akao. I like the Akao better, less spicier though.
Arriving at 10:00 am we were the first ones there and there were only 3 tables occupied when we left. As much as I wanted to go to Mendokoro they opened at 11 and my hombres were too hungry to wait.
I still think the extra firm noodles can be firmer. I also got an odd block of chashu instead of a flat slice. Pang adobo? You can see it in the photo. Unlike other Japanese restaurants in the Little Tokyo area, and even in Ukokkei, they don't offer lunch sets which could've given us value for money.
This place is fun and pleasing to the eye and stomach. I loved how they gave you a bib and the way you place your order. Very organized, and the variety of the menu was great! The broth is so rich and tasty, and they were very generous on the meat. So if you are watching your calorie intake, you might want to come here on a cheat day :) Fun place to go with friends.
Yes kinda pricey but the quality and the taste of the Ramen is so good... Salad and Gyoza are also a must try... Aside from Butao definitely we will try the Kuroo on our next visit...
perfect ramen in the country, second best though to Mendokoro, i like their cucumber as starter, faster service, can improve on their ramen selection ( can be lengthen the choise of ramen)
Ramen Nagi has been consistent in being one of the top choices in the ramen scene. The feeling of being able to customize every aspect of your ramen, gives a personal kick to the experience. The prices are quite reasonable with their serving, that's why a lot of people kept coming back for more.
I had the following:
-> The 'Butao King' is my go-to ramen here. Nothing beats the original king for me. The combination of the luscious signature tonkotsu pork broth and the very tender chashu, is just really comforting. I always order an extra tamago because it gives a more filling experience. The consistency with the taste, texture and serving across all their branches, is impressive.
-> I was really craving for 'Gyoza', and it's so disappointing today. All of it are burnt. As soon as it was served to us, I can already smell the unpleasant scent. I observed the other gyozas being served at the other tables, and it's the same. I hope they cook it better next time, because it's fine the last time I dined here.
-> It's my first time to try their 'Pork Katsu Roll' and it didn't disappoint. The eight pieces of thinly sliced pork belly are so tender and the cheese rolled with it is tasty. The nagi's original sauce on top completes the mix.
Of course, I'll definitely return here again. I just hope the Gyoza will be better next time.
We both ordered Original King - Butao and Chicken Karaage. Food is extremely good and this is one of the best Ramen Ive ever tried so far. Staffs are so accommodating and smile at all times. They also have a good ambience and beautiful interior. Btw, they give free ramen for birthday celebrant during the month.
My first try at ramen nagi was last september of 2016 with my hubby and son. I can say that their ramen which is the orig butao king (my choice) is great with its rich and flavorful taste. Side dishes like chicken kaarage, pork katsu, spring rolls are really delish and a must try! Highly recommended for a ramen lover... The place was cool with cheerful and friendly staff, definitely we'll come back again and again. I love their ramen!
Best Ramen I’ve eaten so far! I like the way that you can customize your ramen (Richness, spiciness, etc). Will definitely come back.
My Favorite is the Red King!
January 30, 2018
The boyfie and I had a collective craving for ramen; the January rain certainly brought it out. We settled for the ever reliable taste of Red King (Akao) (Php 410), which we shared. We just ordered additional noodles and egg. Consistently yummy! Too bad our taste buds were kinda acclimated to the spicy dishes that we prepare at home that, so much so that the level 5 spiciness did not quite bring it.
Kung ramen lang naman ang pag uusapan, marami na kaming natikman. Pero ibang iba tong Ramen Nagi, panalo! 👌👌
Bong tried the Butao King (regular tonkotsu), mine is Black King (squid inked). You can customize your ramen. For beginners, you can try the "Chef Recommended" one. ☺
Best ramen I've ever taste. The spiciness is excellent, the noodle texture, everything just great! It's definitely my must-to-go restaurants whenever I go to Manila. Already tried in SM Aura, NAIA Terminal 3, and SM MOA.
Kung mahilig kayo mag explore explore ng mga international na food, lalo na japanese, then eto na yung place na yun mga bes. Pero, as I always say, eto yung place na once in a blue moon mo lang talaga dapat puntahan (as in mga every 150 years), unless ikaw ay super yamern na talaga namang deadma sa presyo. Ang isang bowl ng ramen--cheapest is P390. As in! P390--yung pang isang linggong budget mo na sa food. And yun ba yung pinakamura ha.
Pero, sulit naman yung price na yun, kasi isang bandehadong ramen naman ang isiserve sainyo. Mabubusog ka naman nung food aa loob ng 100 year siguro.
If you wanna try the taste of ramen, pwede na yung a 60 pesos jan sa tabi tabi. Kumbaga keri na. Pwede na. At least nakatikim diba? Pero if you wanna up the ante, at talagang magpapakabongga ka sa ramen experience, well this is the place to be. Panalo din kasi bes kahit ganun kamaharlika ang presyo.
Sa umpisa meron silang cheklist checklistan ng order--anong klaseng noodles, sabaw, karne, gulay, anghang, add ons, etc. Yun yung maganda dito sa place na to kasi you can add your personal touch sa ramen. Pero kung tamad ka and gusto mo ng surprise me factor--checkan mo lang yung chef's recommendation, tapos!
Ang issue ko lang sa place na to, medyo masikip, literally masikip and super magkakalapit ang tables. Well, ganun naman talaga sa japan. Siguro maarte lang talaga ako when it comes to personal space. Hahaha
Aprub ko bes tong place na to. Pero remember, make ipon ipon muna and also, kung lasa lang naman habol mo, merong cheaper options of the same taste, pero if you wanna feel high-end and sosy, go na dito!

This branch is my favorite. Accomodating staff and they know how I like my ramen. I like when some of their staff say “welcome back sir” making me feel that they already are familiar who I am. I recommended this place to most of my work friends since it is just around the area. Not too pricy and and the price fits the taste of their food. Broth strong enough for my taste. Every time there is a new limited king I always visit this place.
Ramen , the quintessential comfort food for the family with the advent of the "cold spell" in the Metro Manila which happens in the months of January and Feb , usually. You never know nowadays what with global warming, etc.
Please do not snicker friends from cold climates. Here in our corner of the world when the thermostat goes down from the high 30s to 25C and below, our jackets/hoodies with a sprinkle of boots goes out of the storage and hits the pavement hahaha.
We are definitely warm people literally and figuratively. Oh well the malls are kept at a comfortable 20-25C anyway, just like SM Aura.
So for our craving a week ago, Ramen Nagi was a unanimous choice hands down.
The hubby and I ordered our usual Original King Butao P390 with its signature tonkotsu broth. The omotenashi sheet ( list you tick off to customize your ramen) is a constant reminder of our Ichiran experience in Osaka and the nagging longing to return to the land of the rising sun.
For now we have to make do with Ramen Nagi which in fairness hold its own vis a vis its authentic version in its original base in Tokyo if Im not mistaken. After all per Josh (Marketing ), 90% of RN's ingredients are all imported from that beautiful country where the cherry blossoms grow.
I will always love ramen nagi. I got original butao along with chicken karaage. My sister got black butao and gyoza. My mom got red king. I chose level 7 for my spice because i love spicy food although i think that kind of ruined the flavor of original butao so stick with red if you like it spicy. It’s still good though.
I’ve been to numerous branches of ramen nagi now and i must say that no branch disappoints. I will definitely keep coming back.
The bowls that you can't resist #butaoking #blackking #chashurice,
Perfect place for a date with someone, with friends, officemates or with family 😊
Second time dining here with friends. This time, I had Green King and I enjoyed it. The ramen had that balanced taste of spiciness and sweetness.
Also, the service was beyond great. With a booked reservation, we were accommodated properly. The restaurant’s team members were all welcoming and checking regularly if we need something on our table. They served our food fast, even exceeding their set expectations of 10-15 minutes.
Overall, it was a great dining experience. Great job to the team at SM Aura branch!
Although I have been to a lot of ramen houses, Ramen Nagi will always have a place in my heart. Hahaha.
The Black King and Red King are my favorites! The fact that you can customize everything in your ramen makes it spectacular already. Their ramens are so flavorful. I also love how perfect the "extra-hard" noodles were made. The serving was big too. I thought I could not finish one bowl but because it was so good, I did! I highly recommend the place. Great food and service!
Randomly let my mom choose where we eat, not really a fan of her taste in food, but this time is an exception. We tried the Original butao and green king, the first sip of the sabaw literally made my mom say "wow ang sarap". That was the first time I heard her say that to any food. And I couldn't agree more.
