Always good food and friendly service ! My only comment is that they should pick up plates ones we are done before they offer us the dessert menus. We should not have to call the staff to pick -up. .... Still go back there always though !! Hope to see this improvement .

I loved their 72 hour bagnet, and their paella concoctions! Their drinks are ginormous in size and I love their service, we feel pampered even Kudos to the team behind this resto Wish more of their kakanin is available in this branch though

One of my favorite Filipino restaurants. Do not miss the Paella, bagnet, and sisig. Amazing food, great portions, and great value. Will definitely go back again and again.

I enjoyed their promo of 50% off every Monday. A great way to be able to enjoy their menu for less and eventually get to decide what uou love best. I also like the fact that they are TOP"TAGALOG ONLY POLICY" you get to hear the server talk in pure tagalog, so cool.

4 🌟 for food taste. Highly recommended food options if you're into traditional food while in the city and with affordable price.
4 🌟 for ambiance. Love it's interiors it's like old house design which we can see during Spanish times.
4 🌟 for service. Mahusay at inyong maiibigan ( Very good service that you'll love).
4 🌟 for cleanliness. We went there while it was raining but still they managed to maintain the cleanliness even with a lot of customers coming with dirty or wet shoes. Also, the toilets are good.
4 🌟 for overall experience. I'm just worried of one thing, maybe it's best to change the floor tiles because even if it's beautiful in the eye but when it gets wet specially when it rains, it was too slippery. The rest is good! Will be coming back to taste more food.

I don’t understand why the rating isn’t hitting the high 4s. Arroz Ecija serves rich, flavorful Filipino dishes. The portions, even if they say it’s single serving, are huge!

They start off with complimentary appetizer called Kabayan which is like bread or puto of some sort. It’s gooood.

We come back for their laing which they top with shrimps and fish. The bagnet pinakbet with bagoong rice, tripple adobo with adobo rice and lechon sisig, vegetable lumpia. YUM. All affordable considering the location (150-400 pesos, mostly 200+)

We’ve never tried any of the desserts because, honestly, we always are too full to get desserx what with their big portions.

Staff are friendly, efficient, accommodating - their gimmick is to speak in pure tagalog (mayroon po tayong panghimagas level). Cute.

Inside it’s cozy. Layout and decors are nice. Restroom is clean!

We visited nung mother's day, nakaka aliw yung complimentary peanuts and yung Tagalog/spanish speaking ang mga staff lalo n pag nagpapicture kayo..nalito ako nung nag sabi sya ng tarhita.. hahaha

Pro about the food, masarap!. i specially enjoyed yung lechon sisig rice platter nila.. must try din ang bagnet (not included in the picture kinain n agad bago napicturan..haha), nung una nagrequest p ako na ipa chop pro sabi nila di n daw kailangan and true enough subrang lambot and malasa nga.. beef salpicao was tender pro nothing so special namn.. calamares is delicious ksi may hint ng parmesan akong natitikman and yung mayo and squid ink dip masarap.. pansit lucban is delicious as well.

Overall it was a nice experience pro di sya pang lagi lagi ksi medyo pricey sya pang special occasion lang.. hahhaa.

I was walking around Uptown Place Mall looking for dinner. I was craving for Pinakbet so I checked Zomato and Arroz Ecija was on top of the list.

The moment I entered, I was welcomed very politely by their server and I was assisted to a table. I asked him if they have meals that is good for one person since I ate all by myself, because I wanted Pinakbet, I ordered their Single Plate Bagnet con Pinakbet with Bagoong Brown Rice.

While waiting for my order to be served, I enjoyed complimentary peanuts and I was given water with my desired temperature. Also, the staff were polite to ask if I need anything.

My order came after at least 10 or more minutes which is fine 'coz I was informed ahead of time. I first indulged the Pinakbet and I almost shouted Pak na Pak! Bet na Bet! 'coz the vegetables were perfectly cooked, the texture of the Squash and Bittergourd were perfect. While the Bagnet's skin is so crispy while the meat is chewy. The Brown Rice is so filling.

For 245 pesos plus service charge, it is really worth the money especially if the food, service and ambiance is all excellent.

Their bagnet lived up to the hype the waiter set us with. It’s so good, and the pork wasn’t that fatty. The paellas were good too, but if you’re trying out this resto, make sure you order their bagnet.

Really great for getting the Filipino vibe — their waiters speak in straight Tagalog!!! Their service was good and fast, and the place is actually pretty cute.

Food-wise, there are some stellar dishes like the salpicao (too bad it’s a bit expensive for such a small serving) and the bringhe (I personally prefer the bringhe sa manok, but my bro loved the paella mixtra valenciana). Laing was also pretty good. The kare-kare was a let down; it was the typical bland, peanut butter-less kind and their bagoong didn’t help. The sago gulaman was okay taste-wise, but the actual sago was too firm to be appreciated.

Didn’t get to try the bagnet (maybe next time, but since we’re a family with roots from Ilocos, bagnet is kinda avoided outside the house 😂) so will probably come back for that. Til then, that salpicao will be in my dreams 😍

Their 72-hour bagnet posters are all over the place. Being a bagnet lover, we finally decided to give this newly opened Arroz Ecija branch in Uptown Mall a try. We were welcomed cheerfully and greeted in pure Tagalog by the receptionist. Even when taking our orders and serving the complimentary kababayan, he was in full Tagalog, which I was proud of!

A different waiter served our Bagnet con Pinakbet but there were some English in the words he uttered so I guess speaking pure Filipino to Pinoy customers is not really their SOP. It is paired with Bagoong Brown Rice by default but you can opt to go for plain rice. The amount of vegetables is generous to make up for the sinful bagnet. The squash is not hard to chew. Bagnet skin is very crunchy and flavorful all the way inside the tender meat. I guess those 72 hours are all worth it.

Some customers were given both nuts and kababayan as complimentary starters. We were just given the kababayan and some were just given the nuts. I can't seem to decipher their considerations in choosing. Kababayan tastes like muffin and not the authentic kababayan in Pinoy bakeries.

Serving time was slow. Most of the staff were polite and friendly. Their place is cozy and they offer a lot of Filipino food options.
