Kare Kare Classico 5/5
Our all-times favorite. Their kare kare does not disappoint. It was beef and tripe. Even though the meat is not too tender, the taste of their "sarsa" is so good. Veggies are blanched and not soggy.
Sisig Kapampangan 5/5
More on meat and also crunchy. Still sizzling when served.

Excellent Service, super friendly and attentive staff, Great representation of Filipino food. I kept on coming back - with family, friends or colleagues,
Great concept, staff were very committed to it. It’s all icing on the top as the food we’re all very good!
When I think of XO 46, I can't help but smile while remembering the exquisite food and genuine service that the staff provide. I first visited their Salcedo branch with my officemates (a treat by our Dept head), and what I remember the most was the cucumber water and wonderful laing. This quality was consistent in my second visit (3 years after, a treat from my boss). All the dishes, from the aligue rice to the laing and the bistek, and even the complimentary puto with aligue butter, were exquisite. If only I could afford to bring my boyfriend here, haha! Super love this place for the food, ambiance, and service. Keep it up!
Their take on sisig 👌. That's it. That's my review.

Excellent service! Great tasting food!
Brace yourselves, waiters are going to speak to you in pure Tagalog dialect. Even when finding you a seat, taking your orders, serving your food and when taking your photo. Aking ilong ay nagdugo ng madami!
Complementary food: Boy bawang and puto. Hindi namin inaasahang mayroong pa libreng pagkain dito. Mayroon pang bugtong na ipinahayag (hindi namin naintindihan 🤣) upang kami ay maligayahan habang iniintay ang pagkain.
Very reasonable price, accomodating staff and very delicious filipino food ❤

A true and authentic Filipino dining experience. One of the best Filipino restaurants I've been to. Great tasting food and good service. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that it's just a little too pricey for my liking. Highly recommended though if you want to treat your family to a great Filipino food dining experience.
XO bistro gives u a real good glimpse of mannerful filipino traits of the old days mixed with classic and delicious food. I must say that one of my favorites would be the Humba de Lucban and the Lechon Pork Sisig! I absolutely love to eat at this place, good place for the family! A must try! 😊
The food is great, the service is great. I dunno why there weren’t a lot of rave raviews about XO? The resto deserves 5 stars all the way!
“Ngiting baliw-baliwan!”
They have good Filipino food that can rival the best restaurants in Manila. They have good service and they try to make it more authentic by using deep tagalog words which are also creative ways to describe a meal.
Nice dining experience. Food is good. Ambience is good. Music is good. The servers speaking pure Filipino is very refreshing. A must ‘go-to’ when treating.a balikbayan friend or an expat.
Great food and amazing stuffs. Ambiance is wonderful. Heritage is being felt on this restaurant. Will definitely come back to try more dishes.
Good tasting comfort food, the whole family (16pax) enjoyed sisig (on the top list), salpicao, crispy pata, kare-kare, sinigang na salmon plus 4 more dishes. The staff are all cordial & attentive, not to mention they also speak in our native language fluently when most of us now are using Taglish. Feels good to be called Seniorita haha. Will definitely go back to this resto.
In a world full of madam, here i am a señorita:)
Loved the service and the food. The staff is very warm and accomodating.. meron pang libreng puto while waiting.
We had the crispy squid, sisig and monggo. I loved the monggo and the sisig, the pusit is kinda salty for me,but i liked that it's perfectly cooked, not gummy:)
The whole dining experience was awesome for me:) will be back to try their other dishes:)
Limited menu available for zomato promo.... but we loved the food we ordered. Nice ambiance. Staff speak impressive Filipino which rarely done anywhere.. very good, friendly staff.🤗
We had merienda here with our baby. I had been wanting to try this out as it looks very high end Filipino resto and their straight Filipino amuses me. We ordered their arrozcaldo and ginataang bilo bilo. The serving was very slow, imagine me goi g to the breastfeeding room at the 4th floor coming back with a changed diaper and sleeping baby and yet the food is not yet ready. Arroz caldo came in first, it was pretty good! It didn't have whole chicken though but the serving was good for 2 to 3. My husband who isn't a fan of the dish was impressed on how flavorful the food was. The bilobilo came in very late and very hot. It was too sweet, the taste was more of an ulam rather than dessert though. There was something weird with the taste. Husband says maybe it was the ube. The picture showed traditional color of the bilo bilo which was still on the white side but what was served to us was Violet in color. I was totally disappointed with it, the recados were very limited also, for the price it is not worth it, dell's ginataang bilobilo is ever better. The margarine in the complementary puto was very tasty and yummy!
For our 2nd try, we tried okoy, serving was big and it is an different take on traditional okoy. My baby loved it!
They serve consistently good Filipino food. Their lechon kawali sinigang is a must-try. Service is just right with reasonable waiting time.

Food was great! We used our Zomato Gold with no problem at all. I suggest the crispy pata and beef salpicao. Will definitely go back here with my family.

Food was really good. I liked how they epitomize using Filipino artfully in talking to customers. The food is a very modern version of Filipino cuisine with a twist. Their empanada, was great. Compliment it with gising gising. Perfect together!
Food was great! I liked all that we ordered. Serving is a bit small but very tasty. Staff was super friendly and lives up to their “Filipino” ambience by just speaking Tagalog. Will be back here.
We wanted to try Zomato for the first time good thing we saw this restaurant. Food was superb and their service is amazing. Will definitely go back.
Great pinoy food without breaking the bank. This restaurant is always empty, but deserves more love. I’ve never ordered anything that I regretted. The tahong with chorizo appetizer is awesome. More foot traffic for XO, I hope.
Great place to dine with family and friends! Experience to ask their assistance to take a group photo, you’ll be amaze with their wit and creativity 😊👏❤️🥰
I recommend this place. The staff is so accomodating and they don't speak in english. It's so funny when we asked the server to take a picture of us because they still speak in tagalog. Ambiance is the best. It's so relaxing. We ordered Gambas Y Chorizo and Crispy Binagoongan. The food was great. We had free puto as well. We will definitely go back here.
Overall experience is superb! The place is really great and the service is awesome. This is not a paid review and I don’t normally give 5 stars.
The food is really delicious and well presented. Serving size is just right. We had their lengua estofado, sisis, and humba. Everything is spot on.
As I used my Zomato gold, they served us with a complimentary puto while waiting for our food. The mantikilya is super nice!
They also gave us the classic chocnut bar to end the meal. Not a fan of paying for desserts coz I make them at home.
What is truly refreshing is the staff talking to you in pure Tagalog. You will be amazed on how they deliver each deep Tagalog words!
Definitely going back and next time, I will bring my entire family!
Brought my balikbayan relatives here for dinner and they loved everything. The food was really good and the service was great BUT what really sold the place was how the servers would speak in straight Tagalog. We had a great time just trying to converse in Tagalog. The best part is what they say when taking our pictures.
Definitely a place to go back to!

Went there for lunch with my office mates and we were greeted by the friendly staff in pure Filipino language. As in, we learned a lot of new words. 👍🏼
We ordered their sisig, calamares, kare kare (see photo), sinigang na laman dagat, laing and puti rice. Everything we ordered were super! As in we chowed down the servings in less than 30 mins! Thumbs up and will definitely be back!
Great food and ambience make you proud to be Filipino! Must try: Ginataang Halo Halo 💛 We also loved their molo and paksiw na bangus. Servers were also friendly and polite. I highly recommend this place :)
The food is superb! We ordered gambas y chorizo and kalderetang baka. I like the consistency of the flavors. Also, my friend and I were impressed at how the staff accommodated us. They are in-character from the moment we went in, started dining and taking pictures - all of them speaks in pure Filipino. Great experience! Will definitely come back!
Most underrated Filipino restaurant in the metro. Must order: gising gising, crispy pata, lechon Cebu (though this one is not always available). Finish off with their Pinoy desserts.
It was my first time in the restaurant with my friends and I was impressed with the food! Very delicious and friendly servers. Will definitely comeback!
I really like them speaking in pure tagalog :) well aside from them, their food is goooodd and affordle! My mom has a new resto to go to everytime she’s here - thats what she said.
Delicious! Very Pinoy ambiance. With a bugtong for some fun! Including freeeee puto.

Baldehadang kanin ☆☆☆☆☆ Good for 5 person 😱

I’ve always noticed XO 46 Heritage Bistro while in SM Aura but it was only because of Zomato Gold that we decided to try it out. Upon checking the menu, i noticed the prices were fair and they had some interesting food. Upon ordering, we were surprised to hear the waitresses serving us speak in straight Filipino and this was very pleasant. The overall ambience and experience at XO 46 Bistro is definitely one of a kind. We tried the Sinigang and Gambas. Both were good but we found the Gambas dish to be fairly small. 4 stars for this establishment in SM Aura.
It was really a great experience from the hispanic-filipino ambience, very accomodating staff, and the food! We ordered Pinais na Alimango and got Pusit na malutong as + 1. It was a happy experience. We're planning to go back and try other dishes! ♡
XO 46 Heritage Bistro continues to thrill us with their delectable food preparation. And they're got 1+1 on food under Zomato Gold now!
We had a couple of refreshing drinks - Dalandan Mint Shake and Sago't Gulaman
Our appetizer was the tasty Keso de Kalabaw - crisply fried Kesong Puti balls served with reposado sauce.
Our mains were Ginisang Monggo at Tinapa - delicious mung bean stew flavored with smoked fish - and Kalderatang Baka - sweet and spicy beef stew with carrots and potatoes.
As usual, service was very entertaining. I love that the servers are speaking in straight and fluent Tagalog. Food was very good. Serving size was also quite big.
Staff was very hospitable and they were speaking in tagalog. Food was a fusion of the different localities in the philippines. Must try their sisig.
I ❤️ this filipino restaurant! From the venue, specially the staff who 100% speak our very own tagalog, to the delicious & tasty filipino cuisines and not to forget the starters & desserts 👌 really impressive guys! We brought our French & Irish clients to dine here too and they loved all the food we ordered. Good job guys ⭐️✨💫
5 stars for the classic filipino feel!
Food was great, prices are fairly priced for the quality of food and service.
They even give out complimentary snacks.
#salamat
Slow service in the beginning with inattentive servers but got better when we expressed our disappointment. But food is so good! Ordered pakbet, seafood sinigang and sisig. Bonus nice touches with the bugtong and puto appetizers. At nakakaaliw ang pagsasalita nila ng Filipino. Pinanindigan 🙂
Great Service! Staff are well trained to speak in deep tagalog words through out your dining experience! Food is for me is just okay or we just ordered the wrong dishes.

I have to admire their service crew. They really deliver the Filipino themed resto by talking to us in Tagalog all throughout our dining experience. They’re very friendly and accommodating. Superb dishes as well and value for money.
Good food, nice ambience. Always bring foreign guests here and XO46 never disappoints. Their servers all speak Filipino, giving guests a unique dining experience.
First time here today. I’m impressed that the staff talk to customers in straight Filipino, enhancing the experience in this Filipino restaurant. Food was delicious and the price point is just right. Well done!
I love their food and service. You’ll get to have a welcome puto and cornick and a free choc-nut when you billed out. All of the staff were polite and inviting. They only speak pure Tagalog that caught my daughters attention. I used my Zomato Gold membership here I payed for Beef And got the Gambas for free. My daughter liked their mango shake and I guess they have the most delicious sago and gulaman.
Used Zomato Gold here. My overall experience is good. Very Zomato Gold friendly place.
Food - We only ordered the Sinigang na Lechong Kawali and some Chicken that looks like Inasal. They're both ok.
Service - The staff are all friendly. They say everything in Tagalog. It's quite admirable, their effort to think about the Tagalog word. Also thwu give you complimentary chichacorn and puto.
We went here on Aug 27 and we're very amused on how they treat their customers.
Upon giving to them our orders, they served us cornick and puto (complimentary appetizer) that makes their service exceptional
after our meal, they served chocnut, again as a complimentary dessert :)
Goodjob! Price is a bit high but is still ok :)
I really liked the food and ambiance here. Price point is on the expensive side. The way the servers use Tagalog is also very amusing.
Upon sitting, they gave us cornick while looking at the menu. After ordering, they gave us puto with 2 types of butter, sweet and aligue. After paying the bill, they gave us choc-nut. Those small gestures makes the experience extra.
Garlic Rice - ordered the "bandehado", takot maubusan ng kanin. They use margarine in their garlic rice, flavorful but could use a little more garlic.
Sinigang na Lechon Kawali - I told them to separte the meat from the soup so that the crispiness of the lechon will retain. The sinigang soup also has a hint of ginger, which I'm not fond of but the asim is on point.
Sisig Kapampangan - might not taste authentic but still delicious. Also, this particular dish is small for the price.
I suggest trying this place especially if you have balikbayans or guests that are not Filipino.
I booked this place to celebrate Mother's day with my family and relatives. We were not disappointed. We were greeted warmly by their staff. The food was delicious and they even gave us mother's day halo halo for free! The value, service and quality of food was excellent. Shout out to Sir Kevin the manager of XO 46 SM Aura is very accommodating and polite. XO 46 SM Aura Rocks Highly recommended!
Filipino hospitality can be observed here! Complimentary snack while waiting for your order was 👍🏻👍🏻! You will experience exquisite Filipino taste and tradition. Server speaks in native Tagalog and you will enjoy their creativity while asking their permission to take a picture of ypur group for good memories sake. Highly recommended! :)
Just ate here last friday and here is my review breakdown for XO Heritage Bistro.
Service
We dined at their branch in SM aura and upon arrival we looked at the menu and asled for a 5 person table. The place is not packed that time Friday lunch time and we were asked to wait. They gave us a table which is near the tpilet eventhough most of the seats were unoccupied considering it was lunch time already. Although this is not a big deal I was just curious why they seated us on that side of the restaurant eventhough the place is not full.
For the food service we waited for around 20 mins and the food came out continuosly. 3.5 / 5
Place and Ambiance
The restaurant's interior mimics that of a traditional Filipino House in the Spanish era which is the Bahay na Bato and the staff spoke in deep tagalog which was very entertaining
4 / 5
Food
This restaurant offers wide variety of Filipino food items which will give you a dilemma on what to order. We ordered 4 items which were karekare, squid, fish salpicao.and pancit bihon. While.waiting for the order they will give you a complimentary appetizer of puto with some sort of spread which tasted okay. When the food arrived evrythig tasted good. The squid was so tasty and quite oily in a good way but the serving is quite little because we didnt know that it was an appetizer. The karekare was separated in parts making it different from the traditional dish but was still good. For the fish salpicao all i can say is that i was the person to even eat the last piece! 4.5/5
Will definately.go back to try other food items!
If you’re looking for classic Filipino culinary experience with a twist, XO 46 Heritage Bistro is for you. Whether tourist or local, you’ll enjoy what it means to be in the Philippines. Eating there made me proud to be Pinoy.
This is where we celebrated my Boyfriend's birthday. Not only was the food Amazing but also quick. The interior was really good, it looked like a heritage house with all the old picture frames. The waiters were also great because they spoke in deep tagalog. It was very entertaining. I give it a 5/5
I decided to celebrate my Birthday at SM Aura with no specific restaurant in mind. We strolled different floors and landed with X0 46 Heritage Bistro. What caught my attention was the Filipino Vibe interior. It was really nostalgic looking from the outside. We went in and looked at the menu a few minutes later we were greeted by the waiter with the most Tagalog Speaking manner I have ever heard in my life.
The way they spoke was the traditional Filipino language which was really amusing, the waiter was excited to explain / share the dishes that they serve. We ordered a lechon Kawali, Gising Gising, Kare kare and Sisig. Their dishes were just soooo GREAT!!! Lutong bahay kind of vibe! Huling huli ung lasa na hinahanap mo sa isang Filipino restaurant! Everything was worth it from the panghimagas to their Main Course.
We will definitely go back!
This place offers a great selection of Filipino cuisine. The downside, they didn't put any description on the menu which would make it really difficult for a foreigner like me to order. Luckily I was there with my Filipino host family. Thanks auntie Betty & family. They did all the ordering and all the dishes were really good. My favorite was the blue crab dish. Really tasty with coconut and lemongrass flavor. Real South East Asian dish. But the chicken and the string beans with pork was very good too. The service was so so. We had to call then a few times for the bill. But the place was really nicely decorated. It had that fancy, classic but ethnic-ky at the same time. I recommend this place, but make sure to bring someone who understands the local dishes for easier ordering :)

Ambience: I've always been impressed with how XO staff speaks of their menu, and their overall warm Filipino service. I like that it's not too crowded. That booths are provided so a family can have that little privacy. The staff wears Filipino national clothing.
Shout out to that branch where I felt this "uniqueness" more - Salcedo branch me thinks. It's that one branch all XO outlet I will benchmark against another. Somehow, this branch didn't quite deliver at that same wow level.
I appreciate hearing OPM on the background (Joey Albert's "Tell Me" was playing over lunch)- it sort of brings you back to fun yesteryear.
Flavors: the Binagoongan sa Gata was a good surprise - spot on flavors and served with a good green mango on the side. We tried the Sisig Kapampangan, but having just tasted sisig in San Fernando Pampanga a few weeks back, we expected XO's to be close to that but it wasn't. Make sure you get the Okoy - told my daughter it's the Filipino version of French fries so she can relate.
This restaurant serves wine, which I applaud considering that it's challenging being able to pair a Filipino dish with wine.
We were running errands in the morning and with tummies grumbling, decided to eat first. Since the mall just opened, we were the first customers in this establishment.
The Place
Stepping into XO 46 Heritage Bistro was like time travelling in our country for about 50 years back. The design and ambiance evoked an old world-meets-classy atmosphere. The chairs and plate holders were made of native materials, which matched the interiors. It was spacious, clean, and well-maintained.
The Staff
They were all speaking in Filipino which was refreshing, to say the least. How many restaurants do you know have staff that speaks our language? I imagine it's a rarity nowadays. They were respectful and efficient. But they do need to improve on being attentive. We were the only customers at that time but we had to call their attention more than once for additional orders and about the change in our bill. But other than that, they were great.
The Food
Upon being seated and after our orders have been taken, we were given complimentary corn nuts and steamed rice cake (puto) as appetizers. The rice cake was hot and tasty! Perfect with the cheese spread that came along with it. :)
We had the following:
Sisig Kapampangan (the original sisig recipe from Angeles City, Pampanga) - crunchy, flavorful, and addicting! We can't stop scooping it! My only gripe is that the serving was too small for its price.
Sinigang na Lechon Kawali - one of the best soups I've every tried. The first sip, I had to close my eyes and pause before taking my second sip, and third, and fourth... :) Seriously, it was so good! I don't know what they used as a souring agent for this dish, but it's definitely a winner in my book. The meat was cooked well, tender and meaty in taste. The vegetables were fresh, too.
After we completely wiped out everything, we were again given complimentary Choc-Nut for dessert. Now that's what we call a complete meal. :)
We will definitely be back to try more dishes. Highly recommended for those who want honest-to-goodness Pinoy food. :)
Good food and attentive staff. They kept in the Filipino theme speaking only in Pilipino.
Try Miko soup, salmon sinigang, Krupa tadyang kare kare, vegetarian rice.
I am giving it a 3.5 only because of the great Filipino ambiance and the Tagalog speaking waiters and waitresses.
I was really hoping to order the morcon con queso de bola but was disappointed to know that it was "out of stock". Parang aalisin na yata nila raw sa menu? Sad....
Food in general was oily! From the Okoy to the lumpiang ubod to the Pancit Lukban. Worse, I think they recycle cooking oil... Parang luma kasi yung lasa ng ginamit sa lumpiang ubod at okoy... The lechon kawali on that pansit was minute as compared to what was pictured in the menu. The Crispy Karekareng Tadyang was good but not something I would go back for. I think I only enjoyed the free appetizers (the puto with mantaikilya) and the tokwa't baboy... It was downhill from there...
I've been eyeing this restaurant for so long already because of my best friend's recommendation.
Mark and I arrived when it opened and there was a shooting going on. At first, they told us to wait for another hour so we left and decided to look around for more restos but as soon as we were about to enter another, the staff welcomed us despite the shooting.
It gave a very traditional Filipino vibe. it was homy and the servers were speaking in fluent Tagalog.
The dishes were served very quickly and the quality was great!
I recommend their Sisig Kapampangan & Gambas Al Ajillo!!
Their tapa was good however nothing special
This place is best for those who are on the go but want great quality of food that's also tummy filling! :)

The very hospitable greetings from customers to the way you order food. Damn, the food is indeed remarkable, perfectly cooked. Ugh! Will surely go back to that place.
XO46 Heritage Bistro was built with the Filipino and foreign gastronome in mind - those who wish to enjoy the varied flavors of our islands in its purest form.
If you're looking for traditional, honest-to-goodness Filipino cuisine, XO46 is the place for you. Here, they offer dishes that have been slowly and lovingly prepared using traditional methods and ingredients. They don't believe in instant food - their dishes are prepared the long way, the way our forefathers used to.
It harks back to carefree days at home with well-loved, nostalgic flavors, but XO46 delivers it all with a unique flair that aims to raise the bar for our national cuisine.
I especially loved how the servers were so welcoming and spoke in pure Tagalog. Everything from "Thank you" (Salamat) to "Ready? 1, 2 , 3.. Smile! " (Handa na ba kayo? Isa, dalawa, tatlo.. Ngiti po lahat!) It's so nice how they're keeping to our traditions and encouraging everyone to speak the language.
