📍The food served with my review are as follows:
-Yang chow fried rice: Pilled up with toppings, specially the shrimp which I loved the most, priced at P348.
-French Bean Stir Fry: This is a perfect vegetable meal to complete your diet, while on the other hand, french beann is one of my favorites due to its texture, priced at P288.
-Salted Egg Fried Chicken: I'm a fan of salted egg dishes and this is one of my favorite, the flavor is overwhelming and uses natural not powder salted egg for this dish, priced at P388.🌟
-Crunchy sweet and sour pork with Lychee: What I like with this is the balance taste of sweetness and sour taste, it's a plus that it is not full of breading, priced at P258.
-Seafood green soup: It's a must-add in your meal as starter, the polonchay was blended perfectly with tofu, priced at P288 for 2-4 pax.
-Dimsum_ Sharksfin and Pork siomai: Your wangfu experience isn't complete without trying their dimsum, purely meat and has no extenders, priced at P98-128.
(+) Everything we ordered was consistently delicious!
(-) Terrible draft directly hitting multiple seats from one of their AC units. The tables by the window are flimsy and shake with slight pressure (ie, even if you're just eating). Can get really noisy when full; suggest visiting at an off hour.
I fondly remember a quote from a romantic comedy in the early 2000’s saying “There is no such thing as love at first sight, there is though truth to taking a deeper look.” Wangfu got my attention with their Salted Egg shrimp, semi-salty coarse batter overcoat just lingers in your taste buds creating a craving that borders the confines of addiction. I tried the chicken version of the Salted Egg Classic and I was suddenly head over heels. The chicken was incredibly tender. I think this goes with all their meats, I tried their curry as well as their sweet and sour dishes and all were very tasty and incredibly tender. I do hope they maintain the quality of their dishes as they expand their foothold in the culinary biz.
Value for money indeed. I find the price very reasonable as the price and quality were really good. I appreciate all the food that were served but what stood out were the Hong Kong style porkchop and the salted egg fried chicken. I would definitely go back and maybe bring my workmates since it's near our office.

Discovered another restaurant that offers good food within our budget. We were invited by Wang Fu to try Hawker Rice Tops for only P198! They have Tausi pork rice, Hongkong style pork chop rice, Hongkong style seafood rice, Kung Pao chicken rice and Curry beef rice. My personal favorite will be their hongkong style porkchop.
We also tried their Personal Sets. It comes with unlimited rice and soup. You can choose from the following sets:
🎯 Crunchy sweet and sour pork with lychee set P258
🎯 Salted egg fried chicken set P268
🎯 Hainanese Chicken set P298
🎯 General Tso’s chicket set P268
🎯 Tausi Fish fillet set P298
🎯 Beef with brocolli in oyster sauce P298
Good + Affordabke food! First time to visit this restaurant and I’m happy :)
Good service and really friendly staff.
Wangfu @wangfuph
📍Serendra, BGC
If you find yourself in BGC looking for reasonable and delicious meal with great ambience then this is for you! They have Personal Sets with UNLIMITED rice and soup (less than P300) and Hawker Rice Tops (P198).
Masarap dito!!! 😍
someday my prince will come and im betting on @wangfuph to make that line come true.
in mandarin, #Wangfu means prince’s courtyard and only the best dishes are served there. we had the latter but i’m still counting on that prince to love my rice-loving self 😹
speaking of rice, #WangfuPH is offering “hawker rice tops” at only 198php per plate. think of it na you’ll get something different per day of the week- busolve na ang lunch meal nyo guysh, kaya tara G na ditey!
they have one of the most AFFORDS food in serendra, like unbelievable for where it’s located hence people flock this place and in every other table, their salted egg pork is always a staple and in-house fave! even my friends went gaga when they saw this post taht included the salted egg pork, ‘twas a riot!
was a lil dismayed w/ their hakaw, ‘coz that’s my fave and it didnot come through as expected, was a lil bland for me, sniff. buuut, the hk pork chop rice was good that it became my fave. tender fried pork fillet that’s atop a creamy concoction of yang chao fried rice and again its just 198php when the portion could be priced for 1.5x more. kudos! commendable too was their beef curry rice tops. tender slices of beef and that aromatic and savory curry was just mwaaah! plus the soft plain rice made me eat it more than i predicted.
their laksa i loved as well but i preferred more heat and more lemongrass and more tang?! not naman tom yung levels but i could be better, yet i liked it.
We tried out their salted egg chicken just because and would give it a 4.5/5 for value for money. A neat restaurant in the area, recommended for family and groups.
We went here last 2018 and staff are accommodating! Milo dinosaur is perf along with the salted egg chicken set meal. Birthday noodle is a must as well! Beancurd roll is perfectly cooked and their hakaw is great!
If you are craving for a chinese cuisine with a taste of modernity (ambiance-wise and food presentation-wise) Wangfu should not miss your list. It was our first time to try Wangfu Chinese Cafe. We dined outside because we brought our dog with us. Although it was one hot noon, these dishes were enough for us not to mind the weather.
We are six in the family so we ordered platters, not the solo meals.
Since it was our first time, we were unsure if one order of each meal would be generous enough for us.
And yes, they were enough! :)
Sweet and Sour Pork - it's no chinese resto without this dish. super tasty. you can really feel the sauce which is kind of thick. bell peppers are crunchy which added to our satisfaction to this dish.
Beef with Broccoli in Oyster Sauce - beyond satisfied! the serving is generous. a must try!
Singapore Mango Fish Fillet - super yummy. i think it's just another sweet and sour kind of dish, but more on the sweet side because of the mango. it's my first time to try such.
Wangfu Signature Chicken - not really remarkable. we ordered because of the "signature" thing but, really your usual chicken in other chinese restos.
YangChow - 5/5. Tasty and super generous serving. Thought we have to order 2, but 1 is really enough for us 6. ( But quite depends on how hungry your group are :) )
Lucky Birthday Noodles - Again, kind of like North Park's or Lugang's, but yes, it won't hurt to try :) They're like gonna say it's good for 3-4 or something but really, good for the whole family of 5 to 6 especially if you're gonna order rice along with it.
The Wangfu Iced Tea's ordinary (for me). But what satisfied me was the Milo Godzilla :) I'm not gonna say much about it but yes, your Milo with Vanilla Ice Cream on it
Their salted egg chicken is a must-order, although of course it has a bit of spice. Rice is a bit expensive at 78 pesos. Their fish ball soup is good for four people already. The HK pork chop rice is also veeeeery good. Place is a bit messy, as most Chiense restaurants are, and the servers look tired :(
Craving for Chinese food and saw this while walking home.
Tried their set meal because it was the most affordable; it has drink, soup, vegetables and the meal you have chosen. Also an unli rice! Who else will not be hooked on this kind of meal; so it was a worth-it dinner for me. The service is fast as well. I tried the porkchop with sauce and it tastes good. It matches with the other side dishes. Will definitely come back here next time! It was a nice experience.
So delicious but it takes too long before they served the food. It took 40 minutes of waiting. Actually, a group of diners walked out because they need to go back to their office. Despite of this, I still love to dine and taste other food
If you're finding a restaurant which serves Singaporean/Chinese cuisines here in BGC, make sure Wang Fu is in your list.
We started trying Wang Fu's different types of dimsim (from Siomai to Dumplings, chunky!!). We also tried Wang Fu's different personal meals (comes with iced tea, soup, and unlimited rice). One of the highlight was the Singaporean Beef Curry (which is a new addition to their current menu). The beef was tender, the curry's taste was not overpowering. Since I also like salty flavors, General Tso's Chicken Set became one of my favorites as well. The serving of crunchy chicken were coated with soy. The pork chop with Chinese meat style mayo set was interesting. I like Salted Egg, and their Salted Egg Chicken works like a charm. Usually, salted egg is used to flavor seafoods (shrimp, crabs, etc) but yea, the combination worked! We also tried their Crunchy Sweet and Sour Pork with Lychee Set.
As for the drinks, I ordered their Milo Godzilla (Milo Dinosaur with Ice Cream) which was sweet and a certified thirst-quencher!
Love their general tso chicken and salted egg chicken. Their laksa is yummy and comforting as well. One of our fave place to go whenever we’re craving for chinese food.
Wangfu Chinese Cafe is located at the center of Serendra, visible along the busy pathway to and from BGC High Street. They serve Chinese dishes that is sure to delight new and old diners. Here's a rundown of what I tried during my visit:
NEW ON THE MENU! Singaporean Beef Curry, comes in a la carte serving and personal set (with unli-rice, cabbage slaw, soup and red iced tea). This is quite a sizable serving even if they say it is good for one. Beef portions are big chucks perfect with the serving white rice. The deep curry flavor from the sauce compliments the cabbage slaw that comes with it. I suggest pairing it up with the slaw and get unlimited refills. Very light but filling.
Next is the Crunchy Sweet & Sour Pork with Lychee - lightly battered pork, fried to golden crunch in a thick sweet and sour glaze. The sweet lychee adds a nice contrast to the sour sauce. I love the crunch from the bell peppers.
Salted Egg Fried Chicken - fried chicken fillets tossed in a salted egg coating. Crunchy and flavorful meat gets a buttery, salty taste from the egg
General Tso's Chicken - is a another crowd favorite. Chicken in a light soy sauce.
We were also served an assortment of dumplings including Kutchay, Japanese Siomai, Shark's Fin Dumplings and Pork Spareribs. I enjoyed the faux sharks fin dumplings because it is filled nicely with meat and minced mushrooms.
For Dessert: Traditional Ice Kachang, Mango Kachang - i see this as a great summer treat, looking at the sun's heat slowly creeping in.
Drink: Lychee Iced Tea, Milo Godzilla, both great thirst quenchers.
This is a great choice for family lunch dates since their a la carte servings are meant for sharing. Recommended when in Serendra.
Ate here because I was having a MASSIVE salted egg craving and their salted egg chicken set was cheaper compared to other options in the area.
Happy to say that the set was great! For P268, you really get your money's worth, with an iced tea, cabbage salad, house soup, rice and the salted egg chicken. The iced tea was very sweet, like most iced teas in the PH (I'm not an iced tea person anyway so I won't hold this against them), and the cabbage salad was just okay. I prefer the sauce they use for the cabbage salad in tonkatsu restaurants like Yabu and Saboten.
The soup was very good and so was the salted egg chicken. I remember seeing a review here that the salted egg chicken was tasteless but maybe that was a bad day. Salted egg craving, finally satisfied!
Second to my Filipino palate is Chinese food. I literally love eating steamed Dimsum whenever possible and so this invite made me really excited.
The day of the meet up we were served with different kinds of dimsum, yay!
Sharksfin Dumpling P98
Kutchay Dumpling P98
Spareribs P98
Japanese Siomai P118
These are available all day enjoyable meal that's very filling and affordable. My favorite would be the Japanese Siomai, it was really tasty and the Spareribs too.
Personal Set Meals have been in their Menu for sometime now. The set comes with one kind of viand, UNLIMITED Rice and Soup, Coleslaw and a glass of Iced Tea! Busog ka for sure right?!? 😊
Anyway, the new addition to the list is the Beef Curry Set. I'm definitely sure, you'll get extra rice cause the serving is really good for two. Masarap pa!
Other choices are Pork Chop with Chinese Style Mayo Set P198, The famous General Tsos Chicken Set P268, you should try this.
Crunchy Sweet n Sour Pork with Lychee Set P258 and the Salted Egg Fried Chicken Set P268
It is also available in Hainanese Chicken, Beef Pepper and Salted Egg Fried Chicken! You'll definitely have a lot of choices!
Get yours a Milo Dinosaur or Milo Godzilla and add P58-68 only to any chosen Set Meal.
My drink Lychee Iced Tea was delightful. Sarap!!!
We also tried Traditional Kachang, and Mango Kachang. Both were refreshing and really really affordable compared to the pricey ones at a Korean Shops.
Thank you so much!

It was my first time at Wang Fu and was looking forward to trying their food. Great ambiance.
Will invite more of my friends to come over and check the place. I'm sure they won't get disappointed.
Their Hainanese chicken tastes authentic. Really takes me back to Singapore. Actually, it tastes even better, and it really is worth the price. I enjoyed my experience there and I will surely recommend this to my friends.
This time though, the ‘star’ of the served food are the set meals. Affordable and filling since it come with a drink, soup, thinly sliced cabbage and unlimited rice,. We were able to try 5 of the meal sets. Of the five, my favorite will be the sweet and sour pork with lychee (I like lychee). It is not too sweet nor too sour for me. All the five were ok but the one I like the least would be the pork chop with Chinese mayo (I am biased towards the stronger flavored Japanese mayo). The Chinese mayo is a bit bland for me.
Foodie Event at Wangfu Chinese Cafe Serendra
Wangfu Chinese Cafe is the home of the best Singaporean dish in the Philippines.
They have branches at II Terrazo, Ayala Malls UP Town Center, Ayala Malls the 30th , Ayala Malls Vertis North, Ayala Malls Cloverleaf, Marquee Mall in Pampanga and at Serendra which I was able to attend a Foodie Event at Wangfu yesterday.
I was lucky to be invited yesterday together with other food bloggers at Wangfu Serendra at around 1:30 pm in the afternoon.
This is not my first time to dine at Wangfu. I've been here several times even at their UP Town Center. My family and I loves Wangfu ! It's your favourite Chinese cafe . Good food , affordable price and excellent service with good ambience.
And the Beef Curry Set Meal which is only 288 pesos . Perfect if you will eat alone and nobody to share too .
Then we tried some of Wangfu's Refreshing drinks perfect for summer like Red Ice Tea, Lychee Freeze, Cucumber Drink, A&W Rootbeer Float, Milo Dinosaur and a lot more
Then we had dimsums . We tried their Japanese siomai , Kutchay dumplings, sharksfin dumplings, and spareribs.
Then we tried also their Personal Plates. I really recommend this especially if your in a budget . It's a good deal , comes up with rice , side dish , viand , soup and drink . It's good to order also if you have no other company to share with . I used to order the Salted and Egg Chicken Set every time my family and I visit Wangfu . But here are other Personal Plates which you can explore like Crispy Sweet and Sour Pork , Salted Egg Fried Chicken Set, Beef Curry which is just new on their menu,Hongkong style Porkchop and I recommend also their General Tsos Chicken Set and its only 268 pesos . It's a sweet deep fried chicken dish that is served also in North American Chinese Restaurants.
All Personal Plates are very affordable and delicious 😋
Lastly we tried some desserts . I didn't know they have desserts here so I'm really excited to try it . Among the three desserts , I felt in love with the Mango Kachang. You'll need to add around 48 pesos when you order their Personal Plate , that's a good deal right ! What's good is that their desserts are not only good but also affordable and good for sharing .
All in all I really had a great time trying new dishes at Wangfu.
Thanks so much to Wangfu Chinese Cafe Serendra for being such a gracious host and to @Go Manila and @PiggingOutOnSundays for inviting me 😊
And to other food bloggers who joined yesterday, thanks so much , had a great Wangfu Experience!

Was walking along high street with my dogs and we tried this chinese resto and it was great!! love the food. They have big servings and they even gave cold water to my dogs .. the servers was friendly and offered their best seller .. this is a dog friendly resto in BGC🐶🐶
I was blown away with the flavors of each dish we ordered. I thought their menu was not as extensive compared to other restaurants but after trying a few of their dishes, I immediately thought everything on the menu could be seriously delicious. Their dimsum will surely spark chopstick wars :) Service could be improved though since they seem to be understaffed given that we ate on a peak day (Sunday).
Crystal Ball Dumplings 5/5
HongKong style Seafood Rice 5/5
Tausi Fish Fillet Set 4/5 (am not a fish fan)
It was like a preview of sorts to one's options for Chinese New Year when we proceeded from one Chinese restaurant to another yesterday at BGC.
It was my first time at Wang Fu and was looking forward to trying their food.
Chinese New Year Menu for P3688 for 8 people is a nice figure most attractive to this foodie mom of 4 . That is an average of P461 per person which is relatively cheap for a Serendra restaurant....
We love their salted egg chicken meal! To the point that I go there every week to order it to go so that me and my husband can enjoy it at home. I wish they can have a branch in Makati.
We always come back for the Salted Fried Chicken and Sweet and Sour Pork with Lychee. Each solo order has a generous serving so it can be shared my 2 Persons. If we'd think of going to China Town to have some Chinese food we just go here instead since the place is near to our home.
Wangfu is one of the best food I can think of. From their dimsum until the main menu. It is superb! I am always going back for salted egg and hainanese. :)
Me and my friend were looking for an affordable resto that time and we gave Wangfu a try. We ordered the combo with unli rice and soup, it was good but the sweet & sour pork was too overwhelming. Noodles were soft and wonton broth was very delicious, serving was good for two people. Ambiance looked okay and clean, service was fast and staffs were accommodating.
Ordered laksa. Not gunna lie, it reminded me of the laksas I've had in Singapore. The look wasn't that appetizing tho.
The teh Tarik was nice and refreshing but it was full of ice. The drink was 70% ice.
It was also too pricey. Sure it was delicious but 300 for the laksa was really not worth it.
Mabuting deal. Overall the place is on the pricey side.
Dined here with my Tita and her family after church service at Victory last Sunday. The ambiance is relaxing, ventilation is okay, staffs were very attentive and well mannered. We tried their: Siomai, Crunchy sweet and sour pork with lychee, Beef brocolli, Yang chow fried rice, Root beer float and Mango nata sago for dessert. Everything we tried are okay. Siomai is meaty. Lychee compliment well with the taste of the sweet and sour pork and also, the meat is really crunchy! Beef brocolli lacks of flavor but is really tender. Yang chow fried rice is really good! (Hindi tinipid sa shrimp. Swear!) Root beer float is good to share. I didn’t like their mango nata sago. (Kasi lasang ginataan na talaga. I was expecting to taste the flavor of the mango, more than the taste of its gata. Ang dami namang mango pero di ko talaga nalasahan.) Over all, we had a great dining experience! We’ll be back to try more of their entrée. More power, Wangfu! ❤️
I ordered Salted egg chicken set and it was so worth it! The chicken was flavorful and the rice was cooked perfectly. I love that they used thigh fillet instead of chicken breast, definitely a plus point for me. You can ask for their own blend of spiced vinegar as dipping sauce. Ambience was ok and the place was spacious. We came late in the afternoon so there were fewer people.
I and my boyfriend usually dine here if we are very hungry and crave for good food. We usually order their solo meals and we get out of this restaurant with a full stomach and happy faces. Everything here is good, the food, ambiance, price, and staff. It is one of our favorites in BGC.
The best experience I had with them was when I ordered their Salted Egg Chicken meal and it was not available, but offered me Salted Egg Pork instead though it was not on the menu, I felt like they cooked it just for me.
We decided to dine at 2pm since it is said 12 noon would be their super peak
hour. Anyway, we were a big group and ordered meal seats. I personally like the Salted Egg Chicken Meal seat. The chicken was ok, juicy and a little spicy. My daughter got Hainanese Chicken which is suitable for toddler because of it being so tender, but other sauces spicy so I opt to remove it
from her tray. My husband's or was sweet and sour pork and it was tasty. The service is good however to prepare for a big group it requires 25-30mins and it was just ok.
Had dinner here with my wife. The food was great. There wasn't any expectation on my part when we dine. We just ordered 2 sets, one is fish and the other one is beef and an additional shrimp with floss. The service is ok but not that great. Love their chopsticks.
My boyfriend and I love the salted egg fried chicken, beef and brocolli and seafood rice here. I also tried their singaporean milk tea and sweet and sour pork with lychee, and they’re really good ❤️ sakto ung price for the meal and the place is nice too. Minsan nga lang medyo mainit and parang di ganon kafriendly ung staff. Still recommending this place for chinese food.
Great food! Definitely my new favorite chinese restaurant. Their yang chow fried rice and salted egg fried chicken are my favorites. Although not all of the staff were friendly, I would still recommend Wangfu because it's a real value for money kind of restaurant.
My family and I loves to eat here. In fact, i celebrated my bday last year with them in Wang fu. Our favorites are: Yang Chow Rice (it's a fried rice w/ veggies), sweet & sour pork, beef with broccoli and their dimsum (hakaw and siomai). Pork asado is tasty too. We usually eat there by group so it may take time to get a long table set. They usually have a long line during dinner time. But worth the wait. Price is just fine. Staff and service are nice too. Though sometimes it took a lot of time to prepare our food. But maybe that's okay, because we usually order a lot. Haha
Super yummy ng Beef Crispy Fried Noodles. Akala ko kaya ko siya i share sa kasama ko kasi malaki yung plate pero ako lang din nakaubos. Ang yummy ng sauce then tama lang yung crispyness ng noodles. Definitely a must try! Ok naman din yung price, ambience and staff :)
Tried the salted egg chicken set so came back to try their other meal sets. Came with my friend and I ordered the general tso chicken set, while he ordered the porkchop set. The chicken is sweet and tangy, I love the sauce so much. And the porkchop is really crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I really liked both sets but I liked his' better since it is cheaper, and the Japanese mayo with the porkchop really complement each other. What I don't like is that there are still bones in the porkchop. Other than that, for a price range of around 200+, for a meal with iced tea, refillable rice and soup, this is worth the wait.
One of my favorite Chinese restaurants. I’m very picky when it comes to Chinese cuisine but Wangfu met my expectations.
Food is awesome! I really love their Sweet & Sour Pork with lychee, salted egg chicken, beef with brocolli, hakaw, cereal prawns, salt & pepper fried squid, beef crispy fried noodles, and the A&W root beer float! It’s good that they’ve come up with set meals and the price is affordable.
Nag-take out lamang ako ng pagkain dito isang araw ngayong linggong ito. Ang inorder ko ay sweet and sour at salted egg chicken. Ang ganda ng take out packaging nila, sobrang take out friendly, so plus points sa resto na to para dun. May kasamang miso soup at iced tea ang take out na to.
Note: This review is long overdue.
Ser Chief (fictional character, played by actor Richard Yap) is in the house! If you know the comedy TV series ‘Be Careful With My Heart’ from a few years ago, then you know exactly who I am talking about.
I was only joking with my introduction. He wasn’t there. But I think he does visit from time to time. Why? Well, he is part owner of Wangfu. :)
I am always on the crawl for places that offer unlimited options, and Wangfu is indeed one of them. They have Personal Set Meals that consists of an entrée accompanied by iced tea, unlimited rice and soup.
With my love for salted-egg food, I ended up ordering the Salted-Egg Fried Chicken Set. The chicken was indeed crispy, maybe a tad bit dry as boneless chicken can get dry easily when cooked. For the salted-egg flavor, it was there, but barely. I wish it was more pronounced and had a punch. The soup isn’t much to talk about. It was a very taint flavored very yellow corn soup. Overall, I somewhat enjoyed my meal with 3 plates of rice.
Food: 3.0 – Average as lacking in flavor.
Price: 4.0 – Their personal sets range from P180-P270. I would say not bad for it’s price and swanky BGC location.
Service: 3.5 – Servers are attentive even when busy. But the refills of my food did take awhile.
Ambience: 5.0 – I loved the modern design of the place. Simple with a few colors popping here and there to give some accents, like the chopsticks on the table. It kind of felt like a laid back bistro.
Food might have not been perfect, but I would still go back and try other stuff. The sweet and sour pork with lychee instead of the standard pineapple looks very appealing and sounds yummy. Never had lychee in a sweet and sour dish before. Now my taste buds are curious and I am starting to salivate. Yes… I must try it out very soon.
Value for money: Very affordable
Serving size: For sharing :)
Store ambiance: so-so
Service: Great! Servers were attentive and short waiting time for your food to be served.
Food: Taste goood! I love it! Though you have to be really careful with your order. Ask if you don't know anything about the dish as you might order something that you cannot eat.
Filipinos love to eat Chinese food. It’s tasty, savory and simply satisfying. And since it has been a part of the traditional Filipino family dining culture, it’s not that hard to look for a Chinese restaurant on almost every place and city that we visit around the metro. As for my personal preference, I do not eat Chinese food outside the house. I really don’t crave about it. Let me show you how Wangfu changed my mind and why I tag it more than just a Chinese Restaurant…
This is one of my Go-To Chinese Restaurants in the metro. I like that they have a personal meal set that has soup, veggies and a main dish. I usually order their beef brocolli set. I love its taste and the serving is just right. Definitely going back for more.
A small reunion with my college batch was held in WangFu. I already visited here last year when our team held our Christmas party. The stereotype of thinking that Chinese foods are usually taste like those of instant foods or in a fast food is a BIG NO NO here. I really enjoy all the food we ordered. But my favorite of all time is the Tofu, a bit spicy but very tasty specially when I dip in a very tasty vinegar.
Overall, I would recommend this to others. Great ambiance, good place to bring your family and friends here. I will keep coming back here!
Fleener Lemon Dela Cruz

Hong style pork chop.
So creamy, tasty, & delicious :) Satisfied for my lunch.
Must try this 👍🏼👍🏼
Overall
Place is good.
Price is affordable
And food is great!
POP na POP!! 👍🏼👍🏼
Everything on the menu is good. Value for money too, because a set meal doesn't go beyond 250 pesos, which is a rare find esp. in business districts such as BGC. It's my favorite resto here in Serendra ❤️
Affordable. Wide variety of meals. Good for family eat out.
If I need a quick Chinese fix, I always drop by at Wangfu. Their dishes are at par and good for sharing. However, seating is a little difficult at peak hours as the space is not big enough. The staff won't easily notice you when you are seated outside.
I always order their dim sum. The first time I ordered their hakaw made me like the place. It was delicious and shrimps were fresh. However, on my next visits, the quality decreased. It was overcooked.
The Crystal Ball dumplings and the Kutchay dumplings are good to try especially when you like some veggies in your dumplings. Be aware though that Crystal Ball dumplings have pork so skip this if you don't eat pork. They serve their dumplings really hot, be cautious when taking your first bite!
Their soups have large serving. It is good for 3 to 4 persons. I like the Hot and Sour soup. It gives me refreshing feeling. The Sweet corn soup is so-so. It's bland when I tried it.
Their Kung Pao Chicken is a must try! The sauce is delicious and it is a little bit spicy. All their dishes are good for sharing, so just dig in!
If alone, go for their set meals. I always have their Salted Egg Chicken. The chicken is covered with ample amount of seasonings and salted egg. It tasted like the Irvin's Salted egg chips.
The soup that comes with the set meal is extremely bland though. I will not call it as Miso Soup, coz it's super clear and bland, I get what I paid for lol! Their red tea used to be good too but it becomes bland and blander.
Still, a good Chinese place to try with your friends and family. It isn't that expensive compared to other Chinese resto in BGC (ahem, Crystal Jade). The taste is at par so you won't feel robbed at all.
Regarding the food, we did not expect that we will be so full of the order we made. If you are in need to eat a lot, you will enjoy their Personal Set Meals. We got the Salted Egg Fried Chicken Set and General Tso's Chicken Set and enjoyed the unlimited rice and soup, that's together with an iced tea, too. The ambiance was also good, as this chinese cafe is located in the heart of Serendra. Also, the crew were accomodating and courteous.
Wangfu Review:
Ambiance: 3/5, Place looks nice, clean and cozy.
Food: 3/5, they are offering unli rice and sides when you will order the set meals, enough servings. the taste was just ok..
Service:5/5, service was great, staffs and managers were all attentive. 👌
I like Wangfu. They serve good Chinese food minus the extra layer of cooking oil. Their dishes are fresh, clean, and subtly combines traditional with modern touches. Interiors have the same crisp, and clean look, not a lot of reds or dragons, but accented blacks with neutrals. . We visited Wangfu in Serendra, and one in Marquee Mall, Angeles.
Im just not sure what is the theme, its like a mix of modern singaporean chinese cuisine. Food is great. I just think that it is not recommended to those who wants to a slimming diet.
Ate here twice before already, always ordering the super sulit lunch sets. I'm not sure when the Hong Kong Style Seafood set was added but it's also super sulit and super sarap. The set is Php168 and comes with butter and cheese with seafood on top of rice, with side of veggies and miso soup, plus iced tea. Unli miso soup!
Japanese Tofu. Iced Kachang Mango. Calamansi Juice. Spareribs. My favorite restaurant in BGC. I've been here multiple times already . Foods are affordable and taste really good . Staffs are friendly too
Me and my officemates are looking, where to eat for dinner.. lakad konti and finally, nakita namin wang fu. UNLI rice, UNLI soup.. friendly ang staffa and ganda ng ambiance lakas makayaman. =)
The first time that i've been here, i'd probably rate it as 2/5 since the service wasn't that good, we waited for almost an hour before we got served and i'm bothered with the plates that they use (it's kinda cheap looking because of scratches & black marks on it).
Nonetheless, I came back for their food. T'was great, really. I like the balanced seasoning and how it was served. Also, I like how they've changed their plates and make it more presentable, even the staffs became more friendly.
I would also suggest this restaurant if you're planning to try any asian cuisine (preferably chinese) but have a tight budget, this resto would be a nice pick since they offer personal set meals with iced tea plus unlimited rice & soup that costs below P200 :)
One of the things I think would be their weakness is the place, it's ideal but it's small for the number of people who wants to dine.
My recommended dishes are listed below.
- Salted egg fried chicken
- Crunchy sweet & sour pork with lychee
- Wangfu Hainanese Chicken
- Seafood tofu with cheese
- General tso's chicken
- Hakaw
This is the 2nd or 3rd time for us to dine at Wangfu. We were seated almost immediately. I liked the colorful chopsticks at the table, kinda reminds me of the typical Chinese restaurants abroad though on a more colorful tone.
We ordered the seafood green soup which is a fave. The regular sized bowl is good for 2-3 pax. For dimsum, we got their siomai and beancurd roll. Not the best siomai and beancurd roll we've tasted since the siomai seems to have some extenders added, quite thick on the fluor which was quite disappointing. Their beancurd roll was just so-so, though the sauce was okay.
Hubby got the 1/4 Soy Chicken and since they don't offer a meal for soy chicken, he ordered additional Chicken rice to go with his soy chicken. We requested for thigh part but was given part thigh, part wing. I ordered their Sweet and Sour Pork with Lychee. It's quite an interesting twist, I can't decide though if I'd choose this over the one with pineapple.
Over all, food is ok but a bit expensive for the quality.

I've eaten here a few times. To be honest, I really love Japanese food but I would most likely cheat with Chinese food as needed. Hahaha.
Wangfu's dishes are reasonably priced. Taste wise, it delivers although it's not on top my food rankings. But rating is high enough. 😁😁😁
I liked the sweet and sour pork and salted chicken. Please be advised that the salted chicken is semi-sweet. Flavor is somehow similar with the salted shrimp in Shrimp bucket. It's the sweet and dried up version.
2 set meals may cost less than 600 pesos and it already includes the service charge.
Not really a fan of chinese foods but we want to try something new. We ordered hakaw, yang chow rice and beef broccoli and it tastes great! The food serving is good for 3-4 persons but even if we're just 2 we ate them all! 🤣 the staffs are accommodating. I guess they should add more food in their menu.
For our appetizer, we ordered Hakaw, which was a definite winner in my book, and Crystal Ball Dumpling.
For our Mains, we ordered Singapore Style Sweet & Spicy Fried Chicken, Sizzling Singapore Tofu & Yang Chow Fried Rice.
My hubby tried out their buy-1-get-1 Iced beverages. It tasted really good, plus it was a good deal too.

Went here for my cousin's birthday. We ordered the following:
1. Hakaw
2. 1/4 Soy Checking
3. Salt and Pepper Fried Tofu
4. Fish Fillet
5. Yang Chow Fried Rice
6. Drinks:
- 2 Lychee Freeze
- Cold Calamansi Juice
We we're surprised with the size of the servings. There were only 3 of us but our food were enough for 5 persons haha Pretty much worth every penny.
Tried their Salted Egg Chicken set. I was impressed with the overall taste. The chicken cubes were tender and delish. You can really taste the salted egg flavor. The set came with red iced tea, unlimited rice, and and corn and crab soup for P228.00. Worth the money. Will definitely go back!
Sorry for the lack of photos!!!
Lychee drink - yummy, refreshing, not too sweet
Salted chicken - ok, but definitely not as good as others
T-bone beef - perfectly cooked and the sauce was also delicious
Sweet & sour pork with lychee - just ok, didn't seem special or different
Salted fish rice - yum, could eat it on its own!

We ordered three set meals when we ate there. Prices were ok. I really liked the salted egg chicken meal! It was superb. That would be one of the reasons I'll come back. The beef wonton wasn't so tasty though. I felt disappointed when I tasted it cause it looks yummy. The sweet and sour pork and beef broc meal tasted good. I just didn't like the red tea that comes with their meal. It was somehow bitter I didn't know why. Overall, we enjoyed the food and the ambience as well. We'll definitely come back and try their other dishes too! So much love for chinese food! Hope this helps! ❤
This is my fourth time here, and I've been in Manilla not even a week. As an Indonesian, I love Chinese food. I love Philippines food, but eating pork everyday will give me Cholesterol. So, finding this restaurant is like an enlightment to me. I love the noodles, the dumplings, even the chilli sauce. Its hard to find chilli sauce in Manila, let alone this tasty.
Beef Broccoli with Oyster Sauce - P288
Chinese Style Beef Steak - P388
Ambiance were great especially for family and friends. Great also for date.
This restaurant is worth the price because of the taste and servings of their food. Their Yang Chow fried rice really is the best for me! One serving can be shared by 3 to 4 persons. You won't regret trying their salted pepper fried squid and sweet and sour pork with lychee set. I can't almost stop eating. Their service is just fine and the ambiance inside and out is good.
Good ambiance and a good place to dine with the family. I noticed that the price is a bit high but it was justified by their servings. They seem to lack staff as we need to keep on calling their attention whenever we need something and it takes a while for the orders to arrive. Their salted chicken is a winner though and is worth coming back for!
The ambiance is good, this restaurant looks fancy but surprisingly the food is very affordable👍🏻👍🏻. For only 228 pesos I enjoy unlimited rice and soup 💓.
Price for the food is good. We've been back here several times due to their Hainanese Chicken. We've tried other set meals but Hainanese won us for several times.
I find the drinks quite overpriced so ask for their House Tea if it pleases you too. Photo shows the Lychee Sprite which was quite lacking in satisfaction for its price.
We usually go here when we need a place to meet and align hence a conducive place for meetings as long as you don't go on peak hours to manage crowd noise.
Staff were quite attentive but barely manageable when you need refills or additional orders.
Overall, we'd still be back for their Hainanese. I hope they get a decent wifi soon though. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Wangfu is an affordable fine dining Chinese restaurant in Serendra BGC. The prices of food are affordable considering that it is located at a prime area in BGC. The food are mildly flavored and just right. We ordered the following:
1. Beef Wonton Noodle Soup (188) - The soup has a mild flavor and not full bodied. However the meat was very flavorful. The noodles was cooked perfectly.
2. Siomai (98) - Delicious siomai with crab meat at the inside.
3. Crystal ball dimsum (98) - The coating has a gummy texture and was delicious. It has bits of veggies inside and has a peanut butter after taste.
We went here after watching the movies one late afternoon, on a weekday. The place wasn't that crowded yet and we got seated right away. The interiors had a modern yet simple feel, with a bar near the entrance. This place serves chinese and singaporean dishes. Specialty of this place is their dishes featuring the salted egg.
So we ordered a few dishes: Crystal Ball dimsum which is like a steamed shrimp meatball. This one I like and it was very delicious. By the way, make sure to ask for your usual Chinese condiments like soy sauce, calamansi and chili oil since they are not on the table automatically. Then we had the salted egg chicken strips. I thought that this dish was going to be salty but it wasn't. And despite a sprinkling of some chopped bird's eye chilis on top, it was also just mildly spicy. It was nice and crispy and the chicken was moist but I wish it has a more pronounced salted egg flavor. Then we had the Shrimps with pork floss. This was also good, slightly sweet and the shrimps were huge. We had the seafood fried rice and some iced milk tea.
I noticed that the dishes presentation was quite simple with few (or none at all) garnishes. The flavor was just good, with room for improvement. The dishes were not oily. The fried rice we had was good but could use a bit of color to make it more appetizing to look at. The milk tea we had had too much ice in it.
Price of the dishes were not too expensive and I guess this is the reason why a lot of people eat here. No WiFi for the gadgets.
Chinese restaurant which offers good food and good price. Staff are attentive to every need and place is bright (top to bottom glass windows). Must try their Hakao and sweet and sour but they also offer lunch sets with unli rice for 200++
Update: Went back to this resto last week with the family. My mom, who is so fond of crispy noodles already has her eyes glued to the Seafood Crispy Noodles on the menu. My dad wanted something light so he ordered Beef Wanton Noodles. My sister and I, who were sooooo tired of walking ordered their personal set meals; Salted Chicken for her, Hainanese Chicken for me. The hainanese chicken was so good! The chicken was so tender and paired with the ginger and chili that comes with it, ah, perfect combination! My mom liked the crispy noodles so much she nearly finished the whole serving. This must be biased tho so let's not talk about it. My dad liked his order, too. Although idk if it's really the noodles or the chili sauce. Lol! We had mango with sago for dessert and it was soooo sour. So thay kinda ruined the experience.
Almost all of the restos in Market Market were already closed since it was already past 9 so we decided to find some place to eat around serendra. We've been seeing posts about this resto so we decided to finally try it.
We were in a hurry since it was a weeknight so we ordered the meal sets so we don't have to think about what makes a good pair and whatnot. I ordered chicken with salted egg (obvs because of the salted egg craze) and my officemate ordered the classic beef with brocolli. We also ordered beancurd roll. It took around 20 minutes before our food arrived.
The soup tasted like those instant mixes you can do at home. Nothing special. The chicken with salted egg was a bit of disappointment. The chicken was soft and tender which is good, but it didn't taste like salted egg. Not even a bit. It tasted like butter. Sweet butter. It was okay at first but there's that umay factor. I didn't enjoy it. My officemate was satisfied with her food, though she said they could've added more broccoli. I think there were only four pieces. Lol. The beancurd roll was good. For me, at least. I liked it. Maybe my officemate isn't just fond of soy/tofu.
The people across our table seemed to be enjoying their meal so much so I guess I'll give this resto one more chance. 😊
I can't get enough of their porkchop with chinese style mayo! Very decent Chinese food that is reasonably priced. Dimsum are steamed just right. Sevice staff are very courteous. My number 2 restaurant in Serendra!
Some unique chinese food in this place.
Their salted egg fried chicken is a must try.
Ambiance is ok.
Service is kind of slow, but the food is worth the wait :)

In this post: Gen Tso's Chicken Set, Tausi Fish Fillet Set, Crunchy Sweet and Sour Pork with Lychee Set, Crystal Ball Dumpling, Japanese Siomai
In my continuous search for "value-for-money" restaurants in Serendra-Bonifacio High Street area, I came across Wangfu Chinese Cafe. This Chinese restaurant owned by the famous "Sir Chief" Richard Yap, made me believe that even though you're on a tight budget, you can still enjoy good food and ambiance in a place surrounded by high-end restaurants.
