To all Coffee lovers and local food connoisseurs- when in Fort Bonifacio, check out LUNA Specialty Coffee. It offers Great coffee and the kind that reminds you first thing in the morning of everything else you appreciate in life. It's about the art, the ritual, and the moments shared across a table. It also offers delectable Filipino inspired dishes such Tofu Kare-kare, one of my favorites. And not to forget- the desert- pumpkin kalabasa, inutak etc. Staffs are friendly. Place is very clean. You may even even run into Direk Lino Cayetano who frequently stops by to check on his staff.

Yummy iced coffee! I got their Iced Piccolo Latte.

For dessert, try the one with Chocnut.

Was lucky enough to catch Thyro’s gig here before. Huhu throwback to Flipmusic days!

Space is just small, so don’t go there if you are a big group.

This joint almost passes for a hole in the wall coffee bar due to its (small) space but its actually cozy (if not tight)

The staff is accommodating and all orders are payments are made from the bar

I had the Negros Muscovado Latte and was pleasantly surprised, it was good in my opinion.

I also had a slice of the Chocnut Cheesecake and a slice of their chocolate cake and both were rich and good. The cheesecake had a nutty sweetness to it, the chocolate had a deep cacao flavor to it.

I would love to be back again to try their dishes next time

Good place for a coffee break rather than having your regular 3 in 1 coffee that is bad for your health. What I like in the menu is the “The Luna Brew” with a choice of Barako or NAC Blend. These coffee beans are locally made in Batangas which they also sell in the shop for Php 395 per pack. Plus they do extra services for coffee bean grinding.

I liked their puto bumbong last Christmas season that they sell around Php 150-200. The store put up a puto bumbong station right outside the shop that they freshly made every order. The shop also serve various Filipino dishes like Tapa, Adobo and even Fish and Squid Balls.

Thumbs up for their interior as it is inspired by Juan Luna’s house in Ilocos and their coffee makers around the shop. Sometimes, they do Acoustic Nights and private events.

I eat here at least once a month and I always always prder the crispy tapa meal. It’s a bit pricey for me - P300 but it has become a comfort food plus very convenient for me bec this is just in my building. I also love the friend kesong puti and fishballs during happy hour! A beer is about P100 draft.

The weather was hot so I decided to grab a cup of cold coffee to wake myself up. The prices in Luna is a bit expensive, and it's fine to eat alone in the cafe. The place wasn't crowded since I arrived at Luna early in the morning.

Honey Flavored Latte:
The coffee is really filling. I didn't feel so hungry during lunchtime. The coffee doesn't taste like it's instant coffee. I can distinguish the bitterness and the honey in the coffee. The coffee seemed to be rich in flavor.

Place:
Luna has a retro style cafe, and a relaxing atmosphere, but the cafe is small.

Staff:
The staff seemed friendly, and knowledgeable. It didn't take too long too prepare the coffee.

I had scrambled eggs with Vigan Longganisa for 220 pesos. A bit pricey as it didnt have rice and coffee yet. I ordered extra rice for 40 pesos then additional brewed coffee (forgot how much). Food was good but it wasnt the authentic Filipino style as they served the scrambled eggs with white bread (triangles) instead of with rice. The scrambled eggs also had some different kinds of cheeses—maybe this is why it’s expensive.

Ambiance was okay. Place is a bit small for big groups but okay for breakfast if you’re alone or with someone.

Even though High Street was brimming with people that night, we didn't had any problems finding seats at Luna. The coffee shop had a small space so the interiors felt intimate. I loved the brick walls and the lights. I also liked that the noise from the outside is minimized as it was barely heard inside. I had the Salted Caramel coffee scramble. It was actually pretty good. The salty-sweet flavor was evident. It wasn't flat out just sweet. I enjoyed the whipped cream and the ice blended drink. My friends had a slice of their dark chocolate cake, which they raved about.

They offer one of the best tasting tapsilog I have ever eaten, and they offer it in different flavors.Crispy, Spicy, sweet, regular.

I have tried them all and have always been filled to the brim!

I bit expensive though, but what do you expect from a cafe in Highstreet?

Will definitely be back for more.

Café Luna is one my go-to place for a quick lunch or break. Sometimes the place gets crowded by corporate slaves around the area but most of the time it’s all good. Their coffees are a little overrated I think in terms of prices. Another reason I love this place is even though the place can be crowded, the people are all well-mannered. Haha! Not your typical palengke coffee shop. Their food is what I love the most. I think I’ve tasted almost everything on the menu. And none disappointed me. 🤩

Area - Make sure to book a table before going here just to be sure that you'll get a seat. If you're looking for a place to just chill and relax, this is the place for you. No wifi, though. Location is good because it's easy to find, it's just located along high street.

Food - we just ordered salted caramel frappe and minty choco frappe which were both good, especially the minty choco.
Didn't know they also serve heavy meals. Will try those on our next visit. :)

The staffs were accommodating and approachable. :)

My personal favourite coffee shop in BGC. I always opt for the cold brew bottles and a long black to take away. The food is extremely tempting to order even when you're just getting takeaway. The cold drip is inhouse, and the staff are always super friendly.

I have gone to Luna for about 4 times already before I wrote this review. It was for me to check if the place has consistency with their service. And I am delighted to say that they've been consistent from day one.

Food quality is spot on, from their breakfast meals to their beverages. I tried a couple of their coffee on two sepatate occasions; one's mocha and the other one escaped my memory, but it was fun pouring the milk myself into the mix. Taste was more than okay for me, not too sweet, which is my preference. Pricing is a bit on the roof but I believe it has something to do with their location.

The service was alright. They serve your orders rather quick. Maybe because all my visits were during the morning. And their crew wasn't the all-too-jolly ones that you get from Starbucks, and I like it that way.

Place's ambience radiates a warm and cozy feel, especially the interiors. The music was also played in a fairly low volume. Plus, the light coming outside was perfect, allowing me to take some food shots. It's a great place to have some me time. Will visit it again for sure!

I ordered their sweet and spicy tapa, plus an additional order of Ampalaya Eggs (not on their menu posted on Zomato). I didn't expect that it will come in a rice bowl with two fried eggs, and hefty servings of the tapa. It was a very welcome new flavor for me, although the chili they put could surprise you if one gets in your mouth. The spice literally comes from chopped red chillies. 😅 The cold brew coffee was too strong for my taste, but my girlfriend liked it.

The interiors are nice. Very hipster-y for my tastes, but it was fine and cozy at best. Although I went here with the impression that they have WiFi (screw online blogs 😒), I just decided to eat instead of work.

Flavors are unusual. Good interiors. The service when I visited was okay.

I visited BGC branch alone. That time, the customers was only me and a group of yuppies who's sitted at the balcony. So, it was quiet inside the store where I was seated, and that maybe the reason why the service was quick.

Tried Piccolo Latte, which is 120.00. Pretty small than expected but it was cute. Practically speaking it was pricey versus its quality. Made me want to buy another cup of coffee since I am not satisfied with my coffee.

All in all. It was still a good experience since I was able to achieve my me time.

Maybe will try their candyccino next time. :)

In a constant search for brunch places, a friend of mine recommended the crispy tapa in Luna Specialty Coffee. Situated along high street near fully booked, it's a small cafe with a modern filipino look. The place is nice and cozy, great for reading and quiet dates. It also has an order and pay counter. Love the bacon-like crispy tapa and the classic garlic tapa that comes with two fried eggs, garlic rice and veggies. Also ordered their mocha cappuccino which came with some hopia on the side. Real nice place. I'll definitely be back to try more of their unique filipino dishes.

Had dinner here with the super awesome girl-friend Gillian Hero 😁

I wasn't avke to try any of their savory dishes i just tried one of their pastrues instead.

I ordered the corny jalapeño muffin, it was a surprise that an ordinary looking muffin had an extraordinary taste and not to mention the "kick" when you're about to swallow it, muffin was moist and not too dense and had bits of corn and some surprise chili bits which gave that spicy kick, and for the dessert i ordered the scramble cookie cup since i noticed that they're specialty was candy concoctions why not try one of their sweetest offerings, a chocnut and caramel cookie with a scoop vanilla ice cream topped with powdered milk, hawhaw milk candy, and mini marshmallows, the classic scramble toppings, cookie was so sweet that it was good thing the vanilla ice cream only had a mild taste, it had a lot of elements to it but it blended together perfectly.

Overall experience was good and will come back to try their savory dishes and bar chows

If you are into restos that offer all-day breakfasts in a not-so pricey level, this is one of the best places to go to. I was really surprised to see that their prices are on the midrange level considering it is situated in Bonifacio Global City. It's a cozy branch with bricks that are very instagram worthy. (Lol sorry this is necessary for me).

As for the menu, I tried their Crispy Tapa. The name itself could attest to how crispy their tapa was. It's probably one of the best tasting tapsilogs I've ever had. Plus, there were two eggs included in the dish. But what I truly loved about this place the most was how they incorporated in their coffee and desserts my all-time favorite childhood candies such as White rabbit, flat tops and even Tipa's hopia. I got to try their chocnut cheesecake (which was incredibly good) and their knick knacks cookie cup with ice cream (the bomb!!!). I can't describe them any further so make sure to try them out when you visit.

P.S. The branch on the 32nd St. was a bit far and hard to look for so if you're too lazy to walk, they have another branch in Bonifacio High St. which is near Fully Booked.

Visited the place on a Saturday night and we're happy that it's not like other coffee shops that's jam packed and noisy. The staff were attentive and suggested some drinks and something to chew. I think the drinks are good for early birds or those who want to sleep late. We tried the Luna brew (8hr drip) and the Iced Piccolo Mocha and the bitterness of the coffee is really present. We would suggest that you pair the Luna brew with their sweet treats.

Free breakfast c/o our unit resident doc today! Located few meters away from St. Lukes, and a bit hidden in the opposite side of 32nd street, this place tends to keep its charm since its away from the other busy cafe/restaurants in BGC.

Good food, with modern industrial ambiance, this place can jumpstart your day and set it at the right direction as it gives off that chill, 'Its-gonna-be-a-great-day' vibe. Yay!

Luna Specialty Coffee is very charming. They have just the right number of seating, nicely-positioned seatings, not too complicated menu and a general vibe that is very relaxing. I love that they don't have wifi as I think the place is designed for having those long talks or after work time just to relax. The music choice is great too as it is very chill. I ordered their Piccolo Mocha (140php) which tastes great. You can taste the authenticity of the coffee. They also have here a variety of desserts and lunch meals. The place was a lil bit hidden because their spot is not on the side of the road unlike it's rival restos in BGC. Had the kangkong kalabasa salad and irish coffee to start my shooting day, my friend had the cold luna brew.. The kangkong kalabasa was really good the vegetable wasnt stale nor dry and it was scrumptious. Every bite i took wanted me to scoop more until I make it into a mess of a plate. The irish coffee was very good, you can really be awake from the buzz of alcohol combined with caffeine. It was the most legit irish coffee I had and started recommending it to my friends. Tried a sip for the cold luna brew I think its the same coffee with the irish coffee except its not that strong but still good nonetheless. The ambiance was good but I can't figure out what was lacking with the interiors also we arrived in a deadtime and saw the owner doing bookkeeping I think. Will definitely comeback for the irish coffee with my friends and try new dishes.

A small coffee place, yet in a quiet side of another building, again in bonifacio global city. Curious to try the cold pressed coffee that i saw in a report at spot.ph, we headed to bgc. It took us a few minutes to comprehend how waze and google maps interpretation. Cut to the chase, luna's coffee is a place with an old school charm, from the incandescent bulbs to the brick layer walls with mortar. Behind the counter, expensive coffee machines emanating their god-like glow. I ordered mochacino and the gf ordered the cold coffee. Im not an expert, but the cold coffee is something you NEED to experience. Now did you really expect words to be able to describe taste? Youd best head over to Lunas and taste it yourself. I also ordered the mini tacos, and they were darn tasty :)

Luna is a little heaven for coffee lovers.

I wont say im a coffee lover, but im a girl who needs a dose of caffeine to keep her sanity throughout the day. Luna gave me a great dose and more...

I had their irish coffee, double choco yema cake and tres leches cake. Their irish coffee is like the boracay cocktail but of course coffee is the star and it goes well with the tres leches cake. So if you work near this place and you're a bit stressed or having a bad day, head to Luna and get a dose of their Irish coffee. It will surely calm your nerves and bring you to a happier place.

The place is also perfect if you'd like to end your workweek and kickoff your weekend in a laid back and cozy place as they also serve booze here.

Luna is a community cafe furnishing all-day breakfast menu, specialty coffee and unusually insane desserts. They intend to dish up traditional viands usually savored in the morning. However, in the case of Filipino diners, breakfast foods can be partaken in any time of the day, I don't even mind eating dried fish with perfectly scrambled eggs at lunch.

Bhogs had a serving of Angus Pares (P 330). I did mention that they throw spotlight on traditional preparation of usual viands but putting a moderne twist to it. You see, one of Bhog's favorite dish, Pares have been given a make-over by using Angus beef instead of the usual beef brisket and fats. For dishes as such, I always rely on his expertise, and according to him, they nailed the true taste of the best Pares he had tried. The idea of topping the Angus beef over Japanese Jasmine steamed rice and dressing it partially with it's thick soup, and a bowl of more soup on the side, is a good concept. Providing the diverse foodies of their preference, whether they want more soup or have it just the way it is served on the plate.

My ambitious hard boiled egg is another fancied delight. How can anyone imagine a hard boiled egg served coated with sour Adobo sauce? I remember cooking Adobo with boiled quail eggs, but not having it with a regular sized egg. However, we did bump in to this eatery in Carmona, Laguna - Binalot, where the Adobo Rice is served with sliced boiled eggs and ripe tomatoes. This is just a side dish named Egg Adobo, but equally good with plain rice...

If you think having yema, leche flan and sponge cake can be utterly sinful, think again. Giving in to your sweet cravings won't make you so guilty of piling up some sugar in your diet. Served in shots, this layer of Filipino favorite sugary and milky sampling of yema, sponge cake, and leche flan, is the lesser-evil. Hehehe. Also, made less sweet, you can manage to have a second helping.

Don't forget to try the personal sized cups filled with famous pies given twerks with additional ingredients. On the photo, from left to right (counter-clockwise), Pecan Pili Pie, Apple Singkamas, Pumpkin Kalabasa, Key Calamansi Pie.

Luna Specialty Coffee is a good place to chill with your partner, friends, study buddy or just merely by yourself.

After a great early dinner at El Chupacabra, Nico and I went to BGC to find a good place to satisfy our sweet tooth and voila, hello Luna Coffee. As per a short research of Nico, this place is owned by one of the Cayetanos :)

We tried cold drinks and a chocolate yema cupcake. I am not a coffee lover (either hot or cold, yes I'm weird, I don't drink coffee)but I'll say that the what we ordered were good especially the chocolate yema cupcake! Two Thumbs Up!

For me the price is okay, it's like you had snacks at Vanilla Cupcake Bakery (considering the price only). The place is not girly neither too masculine, it's neutral. I recommend the place for book lovers :)

Still a good job, Luna Specialty Coffee!

Having my husband educate me early on about the wonders of coffee, I understand that coffee joy does not come in an ice blended, whipped and caramel drizzled cup.

This is why I now make an effort to go to the local coffee roaster instead of the commercialized café.

Such is Luna Specialty Coffee in BGC, where I buy the bagged beans recently roasted. Our favorites so far are the Luna Blend and Barako.

For aspiring coffee lovers out there, don't get your beans ground for you. Experiment! If you brew at home, get your own grinder with settings you can play with.

The Luna Brew is best for pour over with mineral water heated at 92 Celsius, coarsely ground, to bring out the real flavor of coffee without the bitter aftertaste.

For those who are nee to the "Cold Brew", a must-try! And if you are breakfast people like hubby and I, the Pinoy fusion of Luna is as addictive as Grandma's home cooking.

Must: Smoked Bangus, Tapa Pan de Sal, Corned Beef Tapa, *new* Crispy Tapa

Who says you can't have breakfast for dinner? Amazing selection of mouth-watering Filipino-inspired breakfast foods. It's hard to choose as you would want to try everything just looking at the pictures alone.

The place is just small but the servings are big!
I think a huge chunk of the space is occupied by the kitchen/preparation area which is open for everyone to see.

I tried the chicken tocino and it did not disappoint. The Smoked bangus with rice is also a winner. Too bad they ran out of the queso chocnut cookie cup. (Read: reason to return) but the queso labuyo pie crust nibbles were fantastic.
For the coffee, I tried the Capuccino Hug Me with free Tipas hopia. It was good, although I could use a little more caffeine kick.

I would love to return to this place to try their other selections and coffee.
