Words are not enough. Perfect for coffee lovers, Japanophile and for anyone.
combination of great coffee and lovely crew!!
I have always loved Arabica. They are known with their Spanish Latte and I personally agree why its the best -- it got the perfect smoothness when it comes to the textures -- the steamed milk is foamy in a way still but it brings out the sweetness it has. While the Condensed Milk gives the espresso a balance so that it will not be too strong.
I love it hot or over iced.
I think their base Arabica blend is the best in the country. It’s mellow and rich. It’s a great starting point if you want a simple, good, all-around coffee. I buy mine in bulk and have them roast it fresh on the spot.
The facilities are exceptional too. This cafe is from Japan so it’s fitting that their toilet is a Japanese model complete with all the conveniences Japanese toilets are known for.
And they use Aesop’s soap in the bathroom which is overkill but I love i
First time to try here.
Courteous staff. Delicious coffee. Will definitely go back here whenever I'm needing a coffee fix.
Over all rating: 4.5
✅ Food/ Drink Quality- 5/5
The perfect pick me up to start your day. The bestseller Spanish Latte delivered as advertised. It is the perfect mix of creaminess and jolt of espresso that will make you ask for more.
✅ Food Presentation- 4/5
Simple and true to the minimalist ambiance. The pastries may not all be aesthetically presentable, but the taste will take you to a different dimension. The Ensaymada pudding has a soft and light texture and a moist finish making you want more. It is the perfect pair for the awesome coffee.
✅Ambiance- 5/5
Simple, minimalist and a very good place if you wanted to have that quiet moment with just coffee by your side. The seats are limited though so big groups might have difficulty securing a spot.
✅ Staff- 4/5
Server was courteous and friendly, however the lady behind the register may want to brighten the customers day and smile a little.
Best for: solo coffee drinker looking for quiet corner, or catch up with your bestie or date with your significant other.

LOVE ARABICAAA!!! THEIR COFFEE IS GOOD (but quite strong so be careful! Drink at your own risk 🤣)
Lately, I've been wanting single origin coffee and we came across this cafe. I've heard of it before but wasn't really into coffee back then.
The interior and vibe of this place is very Japanese-like. Minimal, clean and calming. The menu items are also a bit straight forward. Easy to understand and simple.
My order was the Danch Meng and I wasn't disappointed. Will come back and try more of their other beans.
Ordered Iced Mocha and Spanish Latte. More on the sweet side but really good! Better if the size would be bigger though. Bitin eh.😁
Finally got to try Arabica in BGC! A rather long wait due to busy lunch time trading...about 5 mins to get served and 10 min wait for my dine in coffee. Was surprised to receive it in a to go cup - further enquiring I’m told they don’t have dine cups/mugs - not environmental friendly!
My coffee arrived without the requested single sugar stirred in and the milk far too hot. My request for a replacement was a little better - nice caramel taste with little acidity or bitterness and a better milk temperature
I’m being very fussy - if this was my local coffee house I’d be very happy. The Australian Tobys Estate chain is still my favourite!
Good place to study or review, but it feel like it is a bit loud or crowded. We love the lemonade stills since it feels like it soothe my cough.
Interested to this cafe that’s why I decided to give it a shot. I ordered iced mocha and it became one of my faves. I love how rich the mocha that they have. I also love how they present their shop, they have a minimalistic feel when it comes to their interiors. Such a shame I don’t have a companion to picture me. Also such a shame that I did not try their pastries. One downside tho, they don’t have sockets. But regardless of that, I still enjoyed my time on this cafe. Will definitely be back.
Too strong for me. The coffee’s too aromatic but tastes good. This cafe suits people who likes strong coffee.
% Arabica gives a calm and Asian feeling. It shows simplicity with concrete floors and some part of its walls as well as in its furniture and utensils most of which are biodegradable. Its use of wood gives it an Asian atmosphere, but it also makes a feel of being close to nature.
I drank their Spanish Latte and it was an excellently blended coffee drink. It has a rich foam with a bitter yet light body and a hint of acidity in end. I also selected their kouigh amann from their display shelf and it was rightly sweetened and has an enjoyable oily and flaky texture.
In the end, my experience makes the % sign synonymous with excellent coffee and a relaxing place to stay.
Been wanting to come here for the longest time. I love the coffee. The place is so chill. Would definitely keep coming back. And oh, the chocolate chip cookie...omygod i love it so much.
Such a nice coffee shop. Relax vibes, well lighted and such friendly staff, the crowd is okay too. Appreciate how discrete and proper everyone was. I just wish they have cups for dine in customers. I really don't get why serve it on a to go cup when the customer would actually dine in. Honestly it's a waste of resource.

Are you someone who can’t start his/her day without having a fix of caffeine? Well, I am just like that. I can’t start my day without having a cup of coffee, or two. I mean, please don’t talk to me until I have engulfed reasonable amounts of caffeine because my brain won’t function until then. Coffee is the fuel of my soul, it’s what’s keep running all throughout the night (I work night shift). And don’t you just love that the first smell you inhale after getting out of bed is the aroma of coffee? Moreover, the bitterness or sweetness (depends on the type of coffee that you drink) gives you that sudden kick that will catapult you getting your body moving and going.
There are a lot of coffeeshops around the area but this place serves good quality coffee.
I try my best to visit then whenever I’m in the area.
They really live up to the Kyoto branch. I fell in love with this coffee ever since their soft opening.
I am a forever fan of their original blend to the point of buying their beans. I love how you can request for freshly roasted ones (home brewers, rejoice!). Best with milk, always 👌
Bonus: they have the Japanese toilet (the ones with built-in bidet). Sorry, ang babaw ng pagka-fangirl ko dito hahahaha
Ambiance, aesthetic, drink- giving it all a 10/10
Cafe mocha is really tasty!
Spanish latte was something new for me. (Espresso, condense and milk) I loved it! Reminds me of Vietnamese coffee but this one is less strong.
Don't forget to ring your own tumbler cuz u get 2 stamps for that!
This coffee shop speaks loud of minimalism in its interior details. I love the ambience because of the great blending of light wood and concrete colors, along with the high ceiling and huge glass windows that brighten the place with natural light. Their Spanish Latte is my favorite, and if I will sum-up all pastries I have tried in all coffee shops combined, their Banana Walnut Cake Slice is simply the best! ❤️
Their matcha latte is one of my favorites! They also have good coffee since its what they offer naman talaga. 😃 they also have a nice ambience and a not so hidden second floor. And by the way, their restroom is super cool!! Haha go check it out! 😉
We just had one of those really satisfactory dinner that we needed to have an equally-satisfactory coffee after. A cousin suggested this shop. Together we trooped. And we're glad we did.
The place has high-ceiling giving an airy feel. The lights are neither bright nor dim. In short, everything was cozy.
We ordered for two Banana slices (not too moist) and I had Iced Mocha which was deliciously bold and bitter even for my taste that I asked for additional milk to temper it.
Finished everything and a second round was quickly vetoed when palpitation started creeping in. Planning to make a revisit soon.
A perfect cup of coffee.
Their Spanish Latte is what I really want for my coffee. Perfect combination of sweetness and bitterness. ❤️❤️❤️
A bit pricey for a daily coffee fix but the price is really worth it. Definitely coming back.
% Arabica. You. Are. Amazing.
The Spanish Latte is to die for.
The sweetness from the condensed milk gives the beverage a distinct and heavenly taste.
The moment you have your first sip, I can guarantee, your life changes forever. This is the best iced coffee drink I have ever had and I see myself drinking this every time I have to chance to do so.
Already checking when I can get my next Spanish Latte fix from % Arabica!
I love coffee so this is an automatic 5 star for me! This is one of those hidden cafes from the hustle and bustle of the main strip High Street. You will definitely fall in love with the coffee aroma the moment you enter this store. I like how the barista was honest saying that the only difference with coffee sizes was the amount of water. Tried their single origin Americano and it was not really overpowering. I’m not really a fan of classic black coffee so I’m looking forward to trying their other coffee. The place and ambiance was really relaxing considering this was a Saturday night.
Currently my favorite coffee - glad it made its way here from Japan. Coffee is pretty much consistent every time I come to grab a coffee. We went once on a weekend and we received complimentary wafer from them. Their bathroom is really clean (and has a smart toilet!). Inside the store gets loud so I don’t usually stay for too long. But their coffee is guaranteed to make me happy. Always coming back (and completing more stamp cards).
This place serves probably the best coffee in the country. Reasonable prices. Although not like the typical cafe where you’d spend hours in.
I tried their iced mocha, and I really liked it. It felt more full bodied than others you might have, where others feel quite like a thin liquid, here it feels quite... Heavy, like there's volume to it. It's not too sweet either. Serving size isn't the biggest for the price, but it's fine. Seating is limited, and it's a pretty place to go.
Coming inside the restaurant you’ll smell the great aroma of coffee. I wish they would have a bigger place for people to stay. The ambience is simple and nice. I love the japan blend , guatemala and el salvador. So good it will surely wake you up
I've loved % the moment I saw it on a magazine while on a plane and has yet to open in the Philippines. Ive read that the % sign actually represents a coffee stalk funny when I thought it meant a percentage sign. I first fell in love at the minimalist concept of the interiors and branding but then totally won my heart when I had my first Spanish Latte. Been recommending % to every person I know since then.
% Arabica and Toby's are my go-to coffee spots. In %, my favorite coffee here is the Spanish Latte. There is no guessing as to the right portion of cream and sugar to add because it doesn't need any with condensed milk in the mix.
This specialty coffee place originated in Kyoto, Japan in 2014 and was founded by Kenneth Shoji and World Latte Art champion Junichi Yamaguchi. During one of her visits to Kyoto, Allue Hortaleza got to savor this coffee and from then on could not forget its taste. That's why she convinced the owners that she should bring this brand to the Philippines. Right now, % Arabica has 13 branches looking to expand to 26 countries worldwide.
The presentation of the coffee is very japanese—like a high tech gadget—solid and high quality. The taste of the coffee is also very japanese—tastes like it came from a delivered package fresh from Japan, that industrialized smell.
The best coffee in BGC! For those of you who like stronger coffee, my recommendation is short caffe latte, blend version. Their pastries are also delicious.
Perfect coffee. I ordered Spanish Latte and it's so good. Kouign Amann is also delish. They have the best in the metro so far.
Place is clean and neat.

With one of the best coffee in BGC. I really love the taste of their coffee. I always get the Hot Americano Blend. Also the ambience and service of the servers are very fast and accommodating. Great place to hang out with friends or stay upstairs at the second floor wherein there are commune places and just work for a few hours. It does not have the annoying “starbucks” feels. Love it!
The stronger the coffee, the better for me! BUT, in this case, when I tried the Spanish Latté (which is a bit sweeter than the usual Latte drink), I really loved it! It’s not overly sweet, it’s just right for me!
Place is nice as it resembles a coffee bar where people will get their coffee fix while at work. I tried doing some work here before running in BGC and seems pretty comfy especially when you’re seated at the mezzanine level of the cafe. The crew are all interactive and smiles, despite being so busy with the number of people getting their coffee.
5 stars kasi nasarapan ako sa Spanish latte nila. But I’m not really sure if that’s because I didn’t pay for my drink and somebody else did (my sister)??? 😜
Love myself some coffee, and Arabica is definitely one of the best out in Manila at the moment. Their Spanish Latte is so good! Can't help but notice that the quality and taste of the coffee seemed to have changed a bit. Still a go to whenever I have the extra spending money though.
I'm not really a coffee aficionado, so I'm not sure if my opinion bears much weight, but I do have to say that their coffee and ambiance are great. I tried their iced spanish latte and it had the perfect balance of wanting to have some strong coffee that is tasty without it being too sweet at the same time. It has a bit of resemblance in taste with iced caramel macchiato, but much better. Anyway, the best part of about this place is that it has excellent lighting if you want to chill. It's not the most quiet place to study, but the vibe is chill and I enjoyed my stay here. Also, their toilet is cool. Haha! It's the typical Japan-based toilet seats. I'll definitely go back to try their pastries next time.
My officemate and I were eyeing for coffee shops to try in BGC and we found this coffee shop highly rated in Zomato so we tried it.
At my first try, I was not that into it. I had the Spanish Latte and it was really creamy to the point that I think it overpowered the coffee taste. The ice cubes they use does not melt easily and that is one good point for me.
But on the other side, I think their café is great for random coffee talks!
% Arabica is a Japanese coffee chain with branches in 11 countries and counting. Their byline is "See the world- thru coffee"
I had a Spanish Latte with soymilk and a Banana Walnut Cake slice. The Spanish latte is pretty good; good strong single origin beans from Ethiopia balanced with textured soymilk with a bit of extra sweetness from condensed milk.
BGC has always been a good place to put up a coffee shop due to the high traffic and people are always on the go.
One of the best coffee shops to try out is Arabica. Located near the Globe tower. They have a nice shop where friends can actually hang out and catch up while sipping on Arabica’s masterpiece of a coffee drink. ☕️
Will definitely be back for more caffeine from these guys! 👍
Every time I go back here, I always order their Americano and Kouign Amann! This pastry is light and tasty! Another plus is that their utensils are not plastic.
First off, I just have to mention that the operating hours for the weekend is until 7pm and not 5 pm, so I was glad we decided to head here at 4:55pm, risking that it would be closed when we got there.
Our trip proved to be worth. I loved the minimalist but modern interior. There were ample seats for everyone to hang out at while appreciating their coffee. And speaking of their coffee, like any third wave cafe, they offered single origin beans and brewing methods. The cafe latte I had was perfect.
I will definitely go back, but it would be great if they also extended their weekends to 10pm :)
NKKLK NUNG JAN. 2, HIRAP NA HIRAP AKO BUMANGON PARA PUMASOK! AT ETO KA, AKO LANG YUNG LAMAN NG 7:15 AM SHUTTLE NAMIN, SOLO KO YUNG DRIVER! LAKAS MAKA MAYAMAN!😂😂😂 BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE! MGA 8:15 AM NA 2 PALANG KAMI SA DEPARTMENT! I WAS LIKE, “CANDY! ANO BA, WALA BANG PASOK? BAKA ‘DI TAYO INFORMED?!”😒
Bandang 8:30 AM may mga tao na so nag-aya ako sa Arabica.. Dati ang tawag ko lang sakanya, “Yung PERCENT”😂 As in % lang kasi nakasulat sa cups!
When I asked the difference between “Blend” & “Single Origin” ang sabi mas matapang daw yung “Blend” so yun pinili ko. Masarap naman, yun nga lang ‘di masyado mainit. ‘Di ko sure kung ganon talaga pag fancy shmancy ang coffee.. 😌

Favorite coffee!
Giving out 5 stars for the ambiance, baristas and the coffee. Iced Spanish Latte keeps me awake for like hours!! Taste is amazing and this is how you define BEST COFFEE! 😊

Slick wooden and light palette themed coffee shop from Japan. Setting is relaxed and minimalist. We liked the Ham and Cheese Croissant

My friend introduced this place to me and thank god he did. Living in Quezon City, I wouldn't have known about this cafe since I don't frequent BGC that much. Convincing me to travel that far for coffee, you'd have to pay for my drink and I'm so glad I came. Totally loved the aesthetics and the ambiance of the cafe. The space on the ground floor is catered more for groups, but they also have a single-friendly seating area on the second floor.
I got the Iced Single Origin Soy Spanish Latte and I must say, I just fell in love after that first sip. I found myself savoring every drop, taking small mouthfuls at a time and wishing that the cup would never empty. It had the perfect amount of sweetness that pairs well with its strong flavor. The price is a bit steep for an everyday cup of joe, but that is one cup of coffee I'm willing to pay for.
The reason I'm not giving it full marks is because of their 1) short opening hours, I wish it was longer since its a good place to hang out. 2) Though, there are no sockets, so its not really a work-friendly cafe. 3) They didn't have baked goods anymore when we came considering it was still quiet early. 4) I would be better if had a variety of cup sizes since their standard size is too small for me #SuperBitin 😢 5) They need more branches! Branch out to the north please!

My rating is based on the 2 drinks we had or technically 1 because it’s just 1 kind hehe - the iced and the hot Spanish Latte. And it was or they were gooooood!!! I like “sweet” coffee and the Spanish Latte is just right. 👌🏼
Another good point about this place is: beautiful interiors and love the minimalist / monochromatic look.
The not-so-good points are:
- A bit pricey ₱170 for a large but it didn’t look large enough.
- They close relatively early compared to other coffee shops in the area, 10pm on weekdays and even earlier on weekends like 7pm if I’m not mistaken (not sure about the latter one).
- The stairs going up to 2nd floor is very very very steep (is this even safe?).
But will I be back for more Spanish Lattes? Definitely! I enjoyed the iced more than the hot this first time but I’m sure that would depend on my mood or the weather during future visits.
(4.5/5) Worth the hype, I must say. The coffee options are not overwhelming. Safe to go for the Spanish Blend (PHP 170 tall) if you're after sweet coffee! You will be taken on a sweet and smooth journey that transitions to a bitter flavor eventually, and you will always love the condensada taste that always lingers somewhere. I also find the packaging to be very classy!
The store is another experience on its own. The brown and white aesthetics are pleasing to the eyes, so are the beans and merchandise shelved in glass containers (and yeah, don't make the mistake of NOT CHECKING OUT THE BATHROOM). The fact that the servers are wearing laidback attires (the men are wearing shorts like they're off to the mall) will also make an impression on you!
The coffee just takes a long long time to prepare. But I would say it's always worth the wait.
The cafe stands out through its interiors which is very minimalist. I like the combination of white and cream colors, and wood accents. The coffee was good, just the right amount of coffee. I ordered the iced cafe latte. My wife ordered the spanish latte, which was sweeter. It might be the first time I've tried it. They seem to have a roasting machine if I'm not mistaken so the beans are roasted fresh.
On a side note, they have an automated toilet bowl. The % sign lights up on the door when you lock it.
Went here on a Sunday afternoon as we've been meaning to try the coffee here. The coffee is living up to the hype! We ordered Iced Spanish Latte as recommended by the barista. The place was full for a Sunday afternoon but the ambiance is still good. We were able to get some seats upstairs even though the cafe was quite packed. Would definitely go back here for the coffee and would try their matcha drinks as well.
Really liked their Spanish latte 👍🏻 If you like coffee that’s slightly on the sweet side, order it ❤️ Their toilet blew my mind, haha see it for yourself 👍🏻
not sure if they have utensils and plates already but yeah last time I visited I ate my dine in food in a paper bag 🤷🏻♂️
But overall, I would visit and recommend them 😊

Another specialty coffee shop has popped here in BGC. This shop to me stands out because of its minimalist take on the interior and the branding of its signature "%" sign.
My friend and I ordered Cafe latte and iced Spanish latte for our quick coffee fix. Upon ordering you will be given the choice of whole milk or soy milk. Coffee was strong and is a good energizer. I do however suggest that they expand their milk selection for non fat milk drinkers.
Another thing that I like in this shop would be the crowd and spacing of tables as it's not a noisy shop and tables are arranged in a way that there is favorable space for everyone.

The coffee here will stand by you in all of life's ups and downs. Yung tapang na sana meron ka para umamin, nasa kape nila. Ang sarap with matching good lighting and ambiance! Hope it stays consistent with its quality!
i had this coffee shop on my list the last time we went to Osaka but unfortunately for some reasons, di kami nakapunta. that’s why!!!! i was really surprised when i heard they just opened a branch in BGC 😍✨✨ (the world is so good sometimes)
the ambiance was 10/10
try their signature iced/hot spanish latte.
we tried both and i just felt like i was in osaka again
High quality coffee joint with minimalist design theme in congruence with Japanese aesthetics! The cookies are must try. I tried the Americano short and found it good.
I ordered their famous Spanish Latte and it did not disappoint. It’s soooo good. It’s creamy and you’ll get that coffee kick on your first sip. I just added a little syrup to add a bit of sweetness. The cold variant is good too. I think the price is just reasonable. % Arabica delivered! 🖤

(F)ood:
The food menu is as minimilist as their interiors.
Tried their Danish and some cookie and nothing special but they are perfect
for their coffee. Tried their Iced Spanish Latte and I was completely
in lvove. But this is not for those who like strong coffee as the coffee
uses sweetened milk and not just regular milk so the coffee is on the sweet side.
For me, that is not a problem. :) As they use Arabica beans and single origin beans and aside from the fact this this sop originated from Japan, for sure you know you are drinking quality coffee which compensates for the price.
(A)mbience;
The main facade is just the clean % sign and floor to ceiling glass walls making natural light come in freely so the store inside is visible. Inside, the place is full of browns and whites which is reminiscent of my minimilist apartment while I was in Japan. Very simple and very clean. They have a second floor with a seat-all wood bench and some bar stools where you can view all the activities on the first floor.
Their POS/payment system uses an ipad and even their cash register is not visible from the customers making the barista station even more clean.
Love the coffee machines which are customized for Arabica and has that same wood finish visible from their interiors. Love also the light indicator in their CR, you better check it out!
Haha! this review looks like a place review and not their food. Sorry, very good Japan memories are all coming back :)
(B)utler Service:
The servers are friendly, know a lot about their coffee and are quick in getting and creating your orders.
Their Spanish latte is one of the best coffee I had in my life and I don't mind going back to BGC just to have my fix of it. Also, I love how minimal the interior is. The lighting is good for taking pictures. I hope they expand to other places in Metro Manila!
This deserves all the hype! I had their Iced Spanish Latte Blend. You can see how intense they make their coffee when you stay around the place. My drink has the balanced taste of strong coffee and its /not-too-sweet/sweetener. It's just a bit small for its price but I do believe that the reason behind is the quality ingredient(s) they use and dude, I don't mind paying around 200 for a drink if it tastes like this! Try it ❤
Spanish Latte is 😍 Unfortunately I can’t always have milk so I get the Cold American and it’s still very good. Yay for soy milk options! ⭐️
If someone told me ‘This is how coffee should be’, I would possibly tell them to come to this store. Just the perfect cup every single time. I have tried Arabica when i was in the Middle East and this first outlet in the Philippines lives up to the expectation.
Slightly on the expensive side, compared to the other coffee joints but completely worth the buck. Ideal for any coffee lover.
BEST COFFEE EVER!! Definitely on my top list 💖 I super love their latte and Spanish Latte. I also love their Lemon sparkle. On a 5-hour stay, I would often finish 3 cups of Lemon sparkle 😅
I love their coffee! It’s my favorite latte in the whole world!! It’s smooth, with the right amount of milk, not acidic so it’s gentle on my gut. Pricey but so so worth it.
Spanish Latte ftw! I had 2 cups in a day when I first tasted it. It give you the kick of coffee and the heaven sweetness of milk. Reminding me of those street sold Vietnamese coffee. A bit pricey for the size — maybe because I want more. ;)
I’ve once heard about this cafe from one of my classmates before, I got very curious coz they have 100% arabica beans. As we all know most of the coffeeshop use mix of arabica and robusta, So I went here to try their coffee I usually go for hot latte but since most of the reviews says the spanish coffee is a must try, I tried it. It was a really good tasting beans, I like the smoothness taste of the coffee given that it is 100% plus they use gippy milk! What else can I say? It will surely be a excellent coffee!
Taste wise:👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Pricing: a bit pricey
Ambiance: 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 I love the minimalist style but it was full when i visit so I just got take out 😬
Over all I enjoyed the coffee
The coffee was great, the service was okay though. The baristas need to smile more. Enjoyable hangout place. The one in Hong Kong was way way way better. Collect the stamps for free coffee!
Got curious about this coffee shop since most of the people walking around BGC was seen carrying their signature coffee. So I decided to try it out myself, upon arriving at their doorstep huge crowd greeted on my way in. Even on their second floor all seats were occupied so I just decided to take out my order. Coffee was good and tasted differently from the usual coffee being offered in the Metro.
arabica coffee is available in hongkong but trying out the philippine branch in bgc. its the same. love the spanish latte a bit sweet. the place is nice to visit located in W city center
I saw my cousin’s post about this popular cafe in Bahrain so I did my research if it has a branch here in Metro Manila. I was surprised it has! Tucked in Bgc an intricate coffee shop with a wonderful ambiance. I was able to order their specialty, Spanish latte (blend). The staff were very accommodating and helpful. You can ask them more info about their drinks. They have a ton of customers waiting for their drinks. I aguess it must be popular as well to peeps in Bgc. I also noticed they have second floor but I was not able to check it out. I’d love to spend more time there! I’m sure I’m coming back 😬😬😬
The cafe is very clean and simple,The environment here is very good,And the staff is very friendly.I am very worried that took pictures here will bother them.cuz so busy, but still help me.thank you so much.
