Restaurant is conveniently located in Fort Strip and very near our office. Dined here for lunch with officemates.
Great service, loved the modern take on Filipino food such as adobo and the puso on kare-kare. Crispy pata was yummy, as well as sisig and fish balls! We also enjoyed the tres leches as compared to dolce gatas (?) which was quite bland if you it without the yema.
Quite pricey but def a great Filipino resto esp when you want your foreigner friends visiting to try some local food.
Haven’t been here in a long time, but it’s still open so they must still be doing ok. Liked most of the food we had on the last time we came in. We enjoyed the Dulce Gatas so much that we got a second order. Didn’t enjoy the street food platter.
We arrived late almost 30mins before their closing time good thing that they still accept and accommodate us. We ate fast for we know that they’re about to close but never the less we had a good meal.
Had a great time here in Aracama with my coworkers since we had our year end party for the team here. The restaurant served us a buffet good for 40. They served us a tomato based paste something more like a bolognese, Kare-kare, salad, chicken bbq, and also the best Napoleones I ever ate which is their mango graham Napoleones. I have to say that I am really satisfied with the food we ate and I am lookong forward to try more of their food from their menu next time.
Out on a date or bringing the family for dinner? Aracama might be the place you’re looking for. If you love Filipino dishes and want that luxurious feel in the ambience, this resto is the go to place.
Located at the Fort Strip in BGC, Aracama can easily be spotted from the Net Lima side. The food is a bit pricey but what you pay for is quality. I tried their sisig and beef salpicao which is really yummy with their java rice. Overall experience was great. Love the food and service provided.
This place will really be perfect for reunions and family gatherings. 👍
Me and my colleague ate here. We had Kare-kare and Ensaladang Pako. Everything was delish and the Kare-kare came with a surprise😍 Would definitely comeback!
Great Filipino dishes. Very nice ambiance. Friendly staff. Crispy Pata is a must try. It was very crispy and tender and the vinegar sauce was perfect with it. Also, the Nilasing na Hipon is good with its garlic mayo dip. Dulce Gatas and Bunuelos is really a must try.
Crispy Pata? 5/5
Beef Sinigang? 5/5
Chef Aracama never loses his touch. It's the same great-tasting food from when I first went here in (I think) 2012.
The service is excellent, the tables are nicely spaced across the room. The second floor is huge, with areas for meetings or taking your business clients.
At night, it turns the music up for nights you won't forget. (Sometimes, you won't remember) Beautiful irony of inebriety.
Tha place never lost its quality and taste, you can't go wrong here. Service is still good, love these 2 sweet delights! The Malunggay Cheese dip
is still appetizing! Always on my list!
This is a late review but I think it is worth writing because we have a fine dining experience with this restaurant. My son celebrated his 12th birthday last December 30,2016 in this restaurant. He asked me to find a restaurant that serves food in a boodle fight setting. There is one popular restaurant that is known for boodle fight but I was not satisfied with the reviews. So I browse the web and found this restaurant. The staff was friendly and accepted my reservation.
My son was very happy because he got his request. I ordered two boodlefight sets that were more than enough for our group of 16 people. The food was tasty and was grilled to perfection. Although more exoensive as compared to the boodlefight set of other resraurants, I think it is worth the price. If you are thinking of treating yqur family to a boodle fight feast, I recommend you to try this restaurant.
Got invited to a birthday dinner of a close friend. He ordered the boodle package. The boodle packaged was food place in banana leaves and shared by everyone.
There was prawns, salad, 2 kinds of rice, adobo, lumpia, boneless chicken inasal and crispy pata. Everything was good except for the prawns. The meat stuck to the shell.
That was the only thing I found wrong. The crispy pata and adobo was superb. The lump was crunchy and that chicken inasal was divine.
Nice ambience and great service
High end Filipino food. The place is good if you want to have a decent conversation while enjoying the Friday night. We just used tables on the ground floor but I was surprised that the second floor is spacious. Can be used for special occassions or initimate gatherings.
Easy to spot since it's only in Fort Strip. Plus if you want to have additional night out fun, like drinks or club, everything's a stone's throw away.
Recommended - beef sinigang, and crispy pata (pork knuckles). I also loved their sangria rosé.
One Dish. Crispy Pata. They sweve the best cripy para in town. Its not because its overly crunchy but because of the rich pork flavor that doesnt get blurred of by deep. They also have other good dishes but the Crispy Pata Jumps out of the whole lot. The place has a very nice ambiance perfect if youre looking for a mid size venue with good quality food.
This used to be the favorite night out spot back in the days. However, it cannot be denied that this place can still be one of those where people can hang out and have fun. Good selections of liquor I must say. Also, good Filipino food. I just wish they change their DJs to someone who can really spin good music.
Went here to have few drinks with friends. I love the fact that this place isn't crowded even on Friday night... and to think that it's December when I was here.
When I'm in Manila I always take the time to eat local food and Aracama really impressed me. Me and my dinner companions enjoyed every dish and the service was great. I also really like how upstairs there is a large lounge deck outdoors, a more formal dining area and a more casual drinking area. Highly recommended.

I have yet to try the boodle fight but Ive heard its a musty try! They also have the best gising gising ever! Tender meat with the best coconut sauce!
For those who want a night cap, best to get the wengweng fish bowl. You and you're friend will sure feel that buzz after finishing it!
We started with the mozzarella malunggay dip, fish balls and sisig. The malunggay dip was good. Tasted like cheese with pesto with milder flavor. Fish balls and sisig were nothing great. I honestly prefer the tastes of the more traditionally prepared ones. They were a bit lacking in flavor, nothing outstanding. Our mains were the sinigang, pork belly bbq and the chicken inasal. The sinigang was good and flavorful, it even had chunks of jackfruit in it which gave the soup a unique flavor. The pork belly bbq was very good. Tender and well-spiced. The chicken inasal was just okay. Finally we had the crispy suman for dessert. This one I really liked and i thought it had such a unique mix of flavors. Definitely a must-try if you have room for dessert. The place has a cozy ambiance and very accommodating staff. Overall, I wouldn't really say this resto is a must-try for everyone but consider this place an option if you're out looking for filipino food with a bit of a twist. I'm more a fan of traditional Filipino cooking though, just my personal preference
Aracama caters Filipino cuisine with a modern touch. I love how they highlight the taste of the food without overpowering or overdoing it. Their classic fishballs are a must-try! Not the rubbery ones but you know you can taste the real flavor of the fish. Make sure to dip it in the sauces! Good place for events, parties and product launches.

I'm usually invited to events held here and I can see the allure. The place is very trendy and lends itself well to fun happenings. It also offers an array of finger foods and liquors that will appeal to partygoers.
If I want to have a drink and food while listening to hip hop... This is the place to go in a Friday night. Just before going to a club or just to hangout with my wife and enjoy the night. The hip hop music from 90's and 00's makes me remember my days at high school and college.
Aracama Restaurant features Filipino cuisine and its food taste great. I particularly like their Gising Gising and their Filipino desserts. It is a cozy place in the middle of the Bonifacio Global City but it seems this restaurant misses something on being a Filipino-inspired restaurant.
They lack Filipino drinks like kapeng barako etc which I thought they would be serving plus the ambiance seems to be less Filipino. The huge curtains is for me a mahor turn off which I think could have been better.
In fairness to Aracama their restaurant features good service and their staff are really friendly. I just wish that the bar upstairs will also envive a Filipino theme this making it different from other bars in the area.
Food is affordable considering the prices of other restaurants in the area and their Filipino cuisine has its distinctive taste. I would never forget that dessert which includes a condensed milk, a legendary Filipino dessert that goes beyond my lifetime.
Filipino fusion restaurant that from what I heard, turns into a club late at night. We were not able to see how this happens though - thank god. Overall we were happy with everything we ordered, we were with our business partners from Japan and Dubai, and they were both very happy.
Aracama by far is the most unique Filipino restaurant I've ever been to. I just love how there's always a twist to most of the food I've grown up to. I always recommend trying out Malunggay Mozarella Dip and so far it has not failed anyone's taste buds. It's a snack I'd keep coming back for. Other than that, Lumpiang Bangus is such an inventive viand. Sotanghon in lumpia? I love it!
Very cozy. It feels like stepping into my grandma's house. Karekare w/veggie roll is good. Lechon is just amazing. Will definitely come back again.
First time to dine in Aracama last Friday with the family. We ordered Salpicao, Lumpiang Bangus, Gising-Gising, Miso Sea Bass, Inasal, and Garlic Kangkong. Got excited when i saw Gising-Gising on the menu coz I haven't eaten this in a while, but then it didn't live up to my expectations. It tasted ordinary along with the Garlic Kangkong. The Lumpiang Bangus was a unique addition but the Sotanghon noodles overpowered the Milkfish, or maybe the Lumpia didnt have enough Milkfish in it. What stood out was the Miso Sea Bass, grilled and seasoned just right. It was worth it for the price. I also liked the very tasty Salpicao and the juiciness of the Inasal na Manok. Also got to taste the green mango shake. This is a family favorite so we were very particular about how this tasted and luckily it was the right blend of sweet and sour. Overall, Aracama serves good Filipino food worth its price.
A classic lounge with a very posh ambiance. Staffs are very nice and helpful especially the bouncers. Cool people crowd also. Might be going back soon.
Partygoers of Manila will always remember the Embassy Superclub that arose in the early 2000’s. And its reputation has been widely known to everyone, even those who are not familiar with the scene as well as its possible reasons for closing. After a couple of years, the old site of Embassy has transformed into a Filipino restaurants in day time and a club at night. The second floor is turned into a sophisticated night lounge with the beats of chill house music. Aracama was able to work on making the structure and interior look simple yet catchy, as they both feature a modern design with simple yet striking embellishments. There were also a few hints of Filipino elements from the materials of the chairs to paintings on the wall, so somehow you'll feel the "Filipino ambiance" within.
I was invited before for my very first foodie meet up. But due to hectic sched, I wasn't able to comply. So me and my friend went here some other time. We ordered their party size cocktail that is very popular. It is a huge ass cocktail good for sharing.
We really did enjoyed the night with their awesome music! Their staff were attentive as well which is really a plus in a club!
Boodle fights are a military tradition that you ought to try with your family and friends. The mechanics are simple - food is placed in a long table on top of banana leaves and your mission is to try to eat as much of it as you can using only your bare hands. Once the signal to start eating is given, everyone begins to battle it out.

Filipino dishes at its best! The presentation of the food was artsy and neat. That Garlic Kangkong is tasteful that I wanted to gobble it all up! And that oh so luscious Crispy Pata skin is to die for! Happy to eat with Pinoy pride at this fab resto. Spacious place too on the second floor. 😋
I heard about Aracama somehow, probably by osmosis, either through reading food-related blogs or browsing foodies’ instagrams. But it’s not somewhere I imagined I would have an opportunity to dine at because clubs and live bands are not what we usually prefer. We like quiet dinners where we can talk, and talk, or savor each other’s quiet company.
Finally!!! I pass this resto on the way to work and on my way to home and today got a chance to visit and enjoyed sumptuous lunch. This was actually my 2nd attempt to try and dine here, I tried last Saturday night but it was packed of people clubin' so had to say no for it because I want to eat dinner quietly. Today indeed, we had fish ball for starters- never had been a fan of street foods but boy their fish ball is so awesome my companion said they out a lot of egg in their fish ball (i don't really know) it's all good to me, we had the garlic water spinach it was heaven, loved it it actually comes with the shrimp paste as they suggested but when I had first few pieces I have concluded they seasoned it so well it was nearly perfect, adobo rice phenomenal if Only I am not watching my rice intake I would have shove'm in face, thats how good it is. Grilled beef was amazing my companion had it and gave me pieces we both love it perfectly seasoned, I had chicken steak in lemongrass super super super delicious, sauce came with was perfect!!! ohhh how I love this place, we also tried their dulce dessert it is sweet as expected very large portion had to take home the left over. We also ordered pork sisig it was good but not the best nevertheless its a dang good place to eat at. I surely recommend!!!!
Aracama's a great spot because it's both outdoor and indoors. It wouldn't exactly be my go to if I wanted to be in a club that felt exactly like a club, but I would go there if I wanted to chill with a drink.
I was invited to my first foodie meet up a couple of weeks ago and we were treated to dinner at Aracama Restaurant in BGC.
It has a very spacious place with great ambiance. I assume it's also a great place for clubbing/drinks with friends.
The food was great! The malunggay pesto dip was so good, I almost finished the whole thing. My favorite is sinugba na baka, the meat is so tender and full of flavor. The rest of the food were also good like manok sa tanglad and the bangus belly a la pobre. I enjoyed those as well. I didn't sample the gising gising, it's one of the things I don't eat.
The dessert was good too but too sweet. I liked it, but it's not for everyone.
Have lunch here with my son on the day of MayPac's Fight of the Century. We are the only customers so we're able to enjoy our food without any clatters and chatters of other diners. Since we're going to have a heavy dinner afterward, so I ordered mostly appetizers and only one main dish. We love their fish balls and street tacos. They're so delicious, I would've ordered another round if not for buffet dinner later. Highly recommended too is the sinugba Baka, meat is sooo tasty and tender, love it! Definitely coming back to this restaurant!
I love the ambiance of this place and it's good to know there's band playing from Mondays - Thursdays. I think they start at 10pm. I will definitely try the lounge area soon and invite my friends. First floor is very sophisticated and cozy though. Good for family set up while second floor is more roomy with lots of tables arranged for groups where the bar is located.
For the food, we had their own version of Filipino Food. Here's what we tried:
Malunggay Mozarella Dip: I enjoyed munching on this too much. I was a bit surprised that it doesn't have bitter taste at all. I can have this all day. Very delicious and healthy.
The Pancit Molo Soup: It was a bit sweet but just right to the taste. Very flavorful too.
I love their Sinugba na Baka. The beef is so tender and flavorful. It just burst into flavors once you pop it in your mouth. I can't help but have some more.
My favorite dish of the night.
Manok sa Tanglad is pretty good too. I like the vinegar that comes with it. Perfect for this dish.
Bangus Belly Ala Pobre: I am a fan of Bangus. I just love Bangus too much and this dish made me love it even more. The Pomelo Salad that comes with it is perfect combination.
Gising Gising: The coconut milk is too heavy. It's too spicy for me. But I can say it's pretty good too.
Dulce Gatas and Bunuelos - I really like the Dulce Gatas and I can't help but have some more. I find the Bunuelos oily though probably because of the butter but it's pretty good.
Thanks to the cool people I met this night. You guys are hilarious. Until the next Foodie Meet Up :)
Ambiance: 4.0
Aracama Restaurant is located just along the Fort strip. The place was huge. A 2 storey spacious dining area in a very Classic Pilipino vibe. First level seems to be the usual casual dining place. The second level is more spacious and with long tables ideal for family gatherings or large group to accommodate. With bar is also located on the 2nd level. On the veranda side is more of a lounging vibe. During Monday's till Thursday's, Live bands were there playing.
The Food: 3.5
Pancit Molo Soup : I find this soup a bit salty and sweet.
Malunggay Mozarella Dip: Crostinis to munch on with cheesy dip made from Malunggay leaves and spinach combined minus the bitter taste, how healthy was that? SUPER healthy and yet best tasting too :)
Manok sa Tanglad:
Aracama's version of chicken inasal and I Love it! You can really taste the flavors of lemon grass, and chicken in a juicy smoky flavor state. and the dip really gives justice to it. I want a round 2 for this soon.
Bangus Belly Ala Pobre:
I love bagus belly so much specially the belly fat :P kanin pa please. Pan grilled bangus belly with garlic bits and pomelo salad on the side. I didnt touch the pomelo salad not because it's not good. It's good actually it's just that bangus belly alone satisfied me much already together with special vinegar with it :P
Sinugba na Baka:
Zoman Foodie joke around saying it's "Sunog ba na baka? because of it burnt like color. But after trying the dish, wow just wow! super tender beef it is and so much flavor in it too.
Gising-Gising:
this was a shocker... I thought gising gising was made from sayote (not leaves) coconut milk and chili. The moment the plate land on our table I was like "Whats that?" and it's a true blue gising gising pala :) made from sigarilyas a vegetable that I don't know But the dish tastes good. And I like it naman. You can never go wrong with gata with chili, right?
KKK Rice:
seems like a yang chaw to me :) and it tasted good too.
Dulce Gatas and Banuelos:
Dulce de leche in a can served with puffy pastry balls on the side. And we all know how dulce de leche tastes dabah? The pastry is so puffy and soft and served warm.
Over All I'm rating it a 3.75
Next time I'll try their other dishes specially the boodle fight set.
Thumbs Up for Aracama's Boodle Fight Platters
If you fancy a relaxing, outdoor dining experience with good food - military style of eating (a much-awaited boodle fight), Aracama now serves Boodle Fight Platters which is good for 6 people - and that depends how hungry you are... ;)
Available in SALO-SALO P2,900+ (Kalo Kalo White Rice, Papaya, Carrot, Ensaladang Talong + Itlog na Maalat, Green Mango, Lumpiang Bangus, Chicken Inasal / Chicken Honey BBQ, Pork Skewers / Lechon Carajay, Grilled Mahi-Mahi / Crispy Tilapia / Grilled Squid and Pichi-Pichi)
and FIESTA BOODLE P3,900+ (Kalo Kalo White Rice, Papaya, Carrot, Ensaladang Talong + Itlog na Maalat, Green Mango, Lumpiang Bangus, Chicken Inasal / Chicken Honey BBQ, Crispy Pata, Adobo sa Tuba / Sinugba na Baka, Taba ng Talangka Prawns / Spicy Gata Prawns and Dulce Gatas & Bunuelos)
I was stucked in traffic that night due to Pope's visit but managed to enjoy the Pork Skewers, Lumpiang Bangus, Crispy Pata (still very crispy and soft on the inside), even the flavorful rice which is not sticky at all and prepared with fresh herbs. Had Mojito on the side + Malunggay Mozzarella Dip:
I just dig spring rolls so much and food flakes. It was my first time to try the Lumpiang Bangus. So surprising that there weren't any fish smell or taste hence I asked twice if it's really milkfish. Btw, I used my utensils and will make sure I won't next time. I should make this Boddle Fight happen with my brothers or friends...
I am not a "Malunggay" person and yet I enjoyed it pretty well. If we have the same issue and just been wanting to get the benefits moringa leaves then don't skip this when you dine at Aracama. It is a tasty appetizer, very nutritious at the same time rich, cheesy and perfect for kids and expecting mommies on the way!
Thanks again for the invite, Zomato! Next time, I dare we all eat with our bare hands... ;)
Thanks for the photos, Eugene! :)
I have been hearing a lot about Aracama recently in the news, on social media, on foodie blogs… It’s getting a name for itself in terms of serving high quality, professional-level, authentic Filipino cuisine. So when I was invited to a dinner at Aracama, I jumped on the chance to finally try their food
Aracama has two levels – the ground floor has a really nice looking, dinner-with-parents-kind-of-vibe restaurant, while the second floor has the bar / lounge which makes me think of a resort chill lounge. The interiors look very sophisticated with a good fusion of some traditional Filipino elements like solihiya chairs.
The second floor turns into a bar / club / lounge at around 10pm. On weekday nights (Monday – Thursday), Aracama has partnered with Radio Republic to have live bands play on the second floor. That area outside (with the blue light) is where the band plays.
THE FOOD
I apologize for the blurry pictures. It was a bit darker (for ambience) so it was difficult to get a good, clear shot without using flash.
Malunggay Mozzarella Dip (P240)
Okay, I want to give credit to the chef for thinking of using malunggay as a dip. I’ve only ever eaten malunggay in tinola, so seeing it used as a dip is like a food barrier has been broken for me – like, why didn’t I think of that? That’s genius! With all the moringga-infused products flooding the market, someone was bound to think of it at some point It’s not bad at all, and I think people who don’t usually like to eat vegetables may not mind having this as an appetizer because the “green leafy” taste is not that strong. It’s just like any good, regular dip, but made better with mozzarella!
Pancit Molo Soup (P350)
I really liked this soup. It was sweet, which was unexpected for molo soup, but more delicious because of it. The soup has a clean, well-rounded flavor and is not bland at all. It has that depth of flavor like in a good tom yum goong, except this one is not spicy. This is a very good clear soup. In fact, I can say it is probably the best pancit molo soup I’ve tasted.
Sinugba Na Baka (P520)
This was my favorite dish of the night aside from the Pancit Molo Soup. It’s grilled, tender, boneless beef ribs, where the flavor of its sweet soy sauce, peanut butter, and spices barbecue sauce is infused into every strand of meat. Every bite of this beef is a burst of flavor!
Manok sa Tanglad (P390)
This was also pretty good. The boneless chicken is flavored with a lemongrass marinade, then grilled, but is still very juicy. There’s a sweet, sour cucumber cilantro dip on the side which is a wonderful sauce for the grilled chicken!
The other dishes were just average.
SUMMARY
The Sinugba na Baka and the Pancit Molo Soup were really delicious.
The prices are consistent with higher-end restaurants, but I found the servings to be on the smaller side. The food is a very good representation of Filipino cuisine – it’s a nice place to take foreign guests if you want to impress them with Filipino food served with class (not the lutong bahay type), and I think your guests might also enjoy the bar, chill lounge and the music.
***More comprehensive review up on the blog***
Aracama is a great place for Filipino food with a twist. I enjoyed every single minute I was there. Aside from the cool peeps I ate there with...i felt at home because of the nice servers and of course the homey ambience. My favorite dishes would have to be the Manok sa Tanglad and Sinugbang Baka...the malunggay dip was especially yummy too! I was surprised to find out that they also have live band at the place. It starts at 10PM and some known and upcoming local bands play there. I must say, I'm going back there to experience the lounge part. Aracama is a cool place for after office drinks or dinner with friends! 2 thumbs up! ?
Out of the dishes tried, the sinugbang baka was my favourite having a good amount of smokey and hickory punch but needs to be taken with rice as it was a bit salty. The chicken tanglad was alright, and same can be said with the milk fish a la pobre. The pancit molo soup was surprisingly nice and I'd say better than the one I had at Iloilo. The fried puffy stuff with dulce de Leche was a little underwhelming though.
I was invited by Zomato for a foodie meet-up at Aracama, but arrived pretty late so I didn't get to try all the dishes. I was very much surprised because the food here was unexpectedly good. Aside from being a popular bar for late night outs, this could be a great place to have dinner as well!
What I tried: the Malunggay Mozzarella Dip was unbelievably good, it didn't taste like it was made from vegetables (lol)! And plus points for being nutritious! The Bangus Belly a la Pobre wasn't that great though. It was already cold when I arrived so I couldn't say for sure how it tastes when it's freshly cooked. But after taking a bite, the fish was hard and required such an effort to chew. I'm not very happy with how it was seasoned as well.
The Manok Sa Tanglad was pretty impressive though. Juicy and tender, this grilled chicken steak was such a hit. The cucumber cilantro dip ran out when I arrived, but the chicken still tasted amazing! But my favorite, no doubt, would be the Sinugba na Baka. The beef was very very very tender and the soy-peanut butter barbecue sauce was the bomb!
For dessert, Dulce Gatas and Bunuelos (dulce de leche and pastry puffs) is highly recommended! The two turned out to be a wonderful combination!
Didn't know how long it took for the food to arrive but service, in general, was great.
Will definitely recommend this to everyone!

Went here for my birthday treat to my friends. Classy people! We ordered the Smirnoff which is very good! It comes into a very huge container with long straws provided. Place is spacious.
Been to Aracama Live by Radio Republic for its Grand Launch. I enjoyed their Manila Punch which is a mixture of lambanog, rhum, ginger, mint and mango puree and their Amoretto Sour which is a mixture of Amoretto and Liquor. Their Cream Dory fish balls made the experience more special. Sisig Lumpia is also a must try! The place was full during the launch making it a place to be for the youth, yuppies and young at heart. I will definitely go back.
Love the pulutan here... Nacho's got a gourmet twist, and overall they've got some quality food offerings. Nice place to drink on the weekends, just look at the balcony from the outside to see if it's poppin'.
It was my first time here. I was with my high school friend that time. We didn't expected to have a great experience here. The waiters are very accommodating. And they always talk to you with a smile. We asked what food in the menu is spicy and they recommended the ginataang hoping. It really is spicy and tasty. We were also offered malunggay dip. We were hesitant to order it but the waiter has successfully convinced us. And yes it really taste good tho we did not finished it as we were so full already. After our meal we went upstairs to drink and relax. Great ambiance as well. I love the place and I love the food.
Nice place, very good customer service. Totally coming back soon. Not that expensive compared to other night clubs in the fortstrip. Loved the free shots!
This is one of the best Filipino Restaurants which other people don't know as most of them come here for Party and Music. Even I at first, did not know that they have a fine dining as we only came in for music and booze. We've tried their Salpicao de la Casa, Lumpiang Bangus served with Green Sili sauce and Old School Sizzling Sisig. The food have unique blend.
Most people go to Aracama for the bar but only a few know go there for the food. Luckily deal grocer had a promo, 675 for 1k coupon certificate, we had 2 so that was a steal.
It was different seeing Aracama in broad day light, since most of us only go here during club hours. The interior looks very modern Filipino, there is a lot of natural light coming in from the glass window making the ambiance very refreshing. I wish the made the day arrangement of the tables more put together to maximize the feel of the place.
They serve traditional Filipino food, for the appetizer we got the Fish Ball, it was really really good we were joking that it's the fish ball ng mayayaman, and had the Baked Malungay with cheese, it was served with bread very similar to Cibo. Then we had Gising Gising that one was a winner, the BBQ chicken the meat was really tender and it was served with their special sauce and lastly we had Kare Kare, that one was superb because the meat was really cooked well and the pechay was made into a lumpia. We would recommend that you eat everything with brown rice. For our drinks we had their house specialty drink. The serving was really big, good for sharing with 5-6 people. Will definitely be back and bring my family.

I love how Aracama transform from Resto to a Longue by 11 pm. I was amaze with place. They have aircondition facilities which for the resto and comfortable couches in a open air part which you can drink alcoholic beverages.
My friends and I originally planned to go Aracama just to eat but sunddenly we love the place the ambience when it turns to a party house. It was cool. So before that let me tell you that they were very polite that they still let us eat around 10:30 pm that supposedly the resto will be closed at 10 pm. We ordered the Aracama Boodle Feast for Php 3,900 plus service charge. It was fun eating really and they send us on the VIP section that why it more comfortable to eat that some of my friends ate bare hand. The food was awesome, it was really good. But i hope the pandan drink was a little sweeter. But over all thumbs up for the food. After we ate around 11:30. Aracama was almost full with people who just want to have fun. And everyone is enjoying the party. Yes the the inside part of aracama (airconed part) which is the resto part at daylight becomes the dance floor for those who want to dance and there are also couches and table for those who wanted to sit and have tables. And it was extended outside which you'll still have the couches with a beautiful view. And the bar for drinks was located outside.
It was a good Filipino Resto and a good party longue. I recommend Aracama. :)
Great food, fantastic ingredients. They dare to be different with the interpretations, and actually turn out really well!
Probably could be a little bigger with more seating, but no complains food wise.
Nice place. Great pinoy food. I have always preferred pinoy food than any other cuisine. My bestfriend chose this place to celebrate valentines day and i absolutely love it. We ordered several pinoy favorites, pork belly bbq, kare kare, pinakbet, crispy pata, adobe rice, and my vegetarian friend ordered a pasta dish. I was happy and satisfied with the food. It met my expectations of an authentic pinoy food. I did not expect the dishes to be special, i just want to taste the pinoy flavor and aracama did not disappoint. We did not order any drinks and we stick with water. To out surprise, we got an additional order of crispy pata free of charge :) the service was great and the waiters were very attentive, we felt like vips hehehe waiters were all friednly. Definitely going back to this place if ever i would crave for pinoy food. The bar on the second floor looks really nice, i hope next time i get to hangout there
Came to drink. Then decided to have our dinner there rather than go to other resto. Unexpectedly fine cuisine! !
Must try
1. Lumpiang sisig (exciting and yummy!)
2. Malungay mozzarella dip (oooh the cheese!)
3. Crispy pata ( I swear it's very good)
4. Kare kare (very unique presentation for me. Where they manage to separate the vegies by wraping it wiyh petchay leaf. The perfect karekare for me! just perfect and affordable)
5. Their adobong fried rice is nicely done, good for 4 to 5 (for persons who don't need a lot of carbs) good for 2 (if you want to indulge yourselves) good for 1 (if you decide to have your cheat day)
6. Cocktail drinks! !
service quality is good, friendly and intelligent, also aware of all they're food taste.
Serving time is not fast (not good if you have a limited time) (good for quality time with family and friends)
Good ambiance too!
They have lots of wine choices!
Clean toilet and spacious enough.
The restaurant transform into a nightclub after 10pm or so. Diff theme.
When we were there its an old school rnb and hiphop, so perfect!
Strategically located at The Fort Strip in BGC, Aracama serves the best Filipino cuisines I ever tasted!
Aracama served us two of the best boodle fights in town - the FIESTA BOODLE (P3,900.00) and SALO-SALO BOODLE (P2,900).
FOOD: 4.5
I personally loved the fiesta boodle even though it's a bit pricey compared to the Salo-Salo boodle which is only P2,900.
Fiesta Boodle (atcharang gulay, Sinugba na Baka, grilled eggplants and red salted eggs, kalo-Kalo, plain rice, chicken Inasal, Crispy Pata, Spicy Gata Prawns) is good for 6 persons. What I love here is the chicken inasal. It's like I've never eaten chicken for years! Really tender and juicy!
LOCATION AND AMBIANCE: 5.0
As I've said, Aracama is strategically located at The Fort Strip, BGC. If you are coming from Ayala Ave, you can ride lower west bus at BGC Bus Terminal. The Fort Strip is on the 2nd bus stop.
Aracama is not crowded on the day we visited the place so I am giving them a 5.0. The lounge and meeting room is clean, same with the comfort room (that's one of the areas I always check when I go inside a restaurant)
I definitely recommend Aracama to everyone!
Aracama Restaurant and Lounge recently released their very own Boodle Fight Platters: The Salo-Salo Boodle Platter and Fiesta Boodle Platter. This is an amazing opportunity to try a number of delicious Filipino dishes prepared by Chef Fernando Aracama.
When you order a boodle platter, it comes with a lemon and water wash for you to wash your hands right before digging in.
Since Filipino meals aren't complete without sawsawan both platters also come with 4 different types of sauces.
While waiting for your food, you can also try their version of Fish Balls (220 php) made from cream dory. It's really tasty! I suggest you dip it in the original fish ball sauce.
FIESTA BOODLE
For an amazing boodle fight experience, I suggest you order the Fiesta Boodle Platter. It may be more expensive, but the platter also has some of the best-tasting dishes I've had in Aracama! Since this is a boodle fight, here are the 'choice portions' from the Fiesta Boodle Platter that you should get your hands on immediately (in order).
Sinugba na Baka - This dish just explodes with flavor. My favorite dish on the platter.
Taba ng Talangka Prawns - Very tasty and flavorful prawns!
Crispy Pata - If you're into getting the most expensive dish on the plate, go for the Crispy Pata!
I also loved the Kalo Kalo, Green Mango Salad (with Bagoong), and Lumpiang Bangus. Of course, you should get a taste of everything but if you have really competitive enemies then you ought to know what to aim for. In short, it's everything in the middle!
For dessert, the Fiesta Boodle Platter features Dulce Gatas & Bunuelos. I find that the combination fits really well together. The only thing I didn't like about it is the authenticity of the Dulce Gatas. I think it was made with condensed milk rather than carabao milk cooked with muscovado sugar, so it tastes closer to caramel than the real thing. It was still really good though!
Overall, the Fiesta Boodle platter will certainly keep you coming back to Aracama due to the quality and variety of dishes!
Rating: 5.0
SALO-SALO BOODLE
The main difference between the Salo-Salo Boodle Platter and the Fiesta Boodle Platter are the entrees. For the Salo-Salo platter, I particularly loved the Pork Skewers! It tasted really good when paired with Kalo Kalo and Lumpiang Bangus. I didn't like the Crispy Tilapia as much. Don't get me wrong, it was good but I just don't eat fish a lot. I would probably choose to get the Grilled Squid as the main entree instead.
My advice is the same for both platters. Go for the dishes in the middle first!
The Salo-Salo Boodle Platter comes with pichi-pichi, a light dessert at the end of all that eating.
While the Salo-Salo platter serves great food at a more affordable price, I would suggest you upgrade to the Fiesta platter instead. The dishes featured in the Fiesta platter taste so much better.
Rating: 4.0
I also tried their regular menu, I had Sinugba na Baka (my favorite), Kalo-Kalo Garlic Rice, and Bangus Belly a la Pobre. The food remains delicious, but unfortunately I have to downgrade the service to a 4.0. The waiters weren't as attentive and quick to respond the first time I was here. Don't let that stop you from having a wonderful dining experience in Aracama though!
Overall, here's how I would rate my experience with Acarama Restaurant and Lounge:
Food Quality: 4.5
Service Quality: 4.0
Ambiance: 5
Now, it's time for you to go and have a boodle fight in Aracama Restaurant and Lounge. It may be a bit pricey but it's definitely worth it. Please share this article with your friends!
Cheers,
Chef Jay

Aracama's Boodle Feast for me is a refreshing example that upscale dining does not have to be stiff.
And if you're up for it, bring your best buds and family, wash your hands and practice your sneakiest, elbow-swinging, rib-crunching box-out moves as Aracama's Boodle Feast literally brings to the table well-prepared Filipino favorites.
For Fiesta Boodle (P3,900), classics like crispy pata, pork barbecue, taba ng talangka prawns, sinugba na baka and others are served over a bed of hot steaming rice. Tip: Eat fast to enjoy the hot food. Cool a/c can bring the food temp down.
The Salo-salo Boodle (P2,900), is a lighter version of the Fiesta, less the crispy pata, prawns, and beef ribs, but comes with chicken inasal and deep fried fish. (Pls. see full menu for details.)
The one thing I'll never forget about our boodle fight in Aracama was this "flying" tilapia that made its way (hand-shoved, dipped and ripped apart) to almost all our plates.
Everyone can now partake in Aracama Filipino Cuisine's festive mood with two different boodle platters. Salo-Salo Boodle and Fiesta Boodle.
But before I tell you deets about the boodle fight I had with new found foodies, let me share one of the appetizer they had on their menu.
Coming here at the last night of work commencing the long holiday to celebrate the coming of Pope Francis, everyone was expecting a heavy dinner, also need to note how bad the traffic was at any point of Manila, so when this lovely boat-shaped plate came, it was such a delight. I never had fish balls this good!
Or should I say this were the most "sosyal" street food I ever had. These home-made fish balls are made from cream dory and are very smooth to the bite and easy to chew. They are like savory pillows that comes with three dipping sauces. You can either drown it in original fish ball sauce which is a mix of tangy and sweetness, red chili sauce or garlicky vinegar.
SALO- SALO BOODLE (P 2900+)
Both boodle types have pickled veggies or "atcharang gulay", grilled eggplants and red salted eggs. With the addition of green mango salad and slices of tomatoes scattered around makes the whole platter very invitingly colorful. Lumpiang Bangus, spring rolls filled bangus bits and other stuff were a winner with the group.
For the mains, here are the choices: Chicken Inasal or Chicken Honey Barbecue, Pork Belly Barbeque or Lechon Carajay, Crispy Tilapia or Grilled Squid.
Everything is topped on plain rice and Kalo-Kalo rice, it's a Negrense style fried rice, which is seasoned and fried with annatto oil or atsuete oil.
For dessert, we had pichi-pichi with banana chips.
FIESTA BOODLE (P 3900)
Like the Salo-Salo Boodle, Fiesta also has the Kalo-Kalo and plain rice, the salads and the Lumpiang Bangus. For mains they have, Chicken Inasal or Chicken Honey Barbecue, Crispy Pata, a choice between Adobo sa Tuba and Sinugba na Baka, lastly, the sinful and caloric Taba ng Talangka Prawns or Spicy Gata Prawns.
Dessert was a treat and a spectacle among sweet-lovers. The Fiesta Boodle carries the Dulce Gatas and Bunuelos. The Bunuelos are comparable to cream puffs, though devoid of the creamy filling but the cooked condensed milk more than make up for it. Here's a great deal, double dippers are more than welcome, without any argue, in this kind of set up!
Aracama, which was named by their chef is something I have always wanted to try. It's this quaint place in fort strip that has its owb noticeable charm. Their hedge wall with an "A" is already photo friendly as well as their designs. But let's skip all that and go straight to the tummy!
Zomato gave me yet another wonderful opportunity to do one thing I have not done in a long time and that is... BOODLE FIGHT! Aracama? Boodle fight? Eat with your hands in a fine restaurant? Yeahuh!!!! You can easily fall inlove with aracama because they take pride in owning our cuisine and food :)
We were served 2 kinds of boodles (haha) which was the inihaw and seafood. Everything was grilled and even the whole feel of having banana leaves, sawsawan and big servings just makes you wanna get down and dirty!
I went straight to the rice and got their huge a** bangus which was soooo fresh. Their chicken as well as pork and prawns were very flavorful that I kept going back for it. Their rice even made a statement! Everything was worth every dirt in my hand...and mouth. We also had pandan juice that paired well as it refreshed my pallet and went on to another bite. Ika nga ng mga Pinoy, lamon kung lamon!
They just launched this in their menu and it is great for those barkadas with big apetit and those who just dont care when people are watching. They might even get jealous and wanna put their hands on the food as well.
All in all, I would go back for a bite.. Or two.. Or three! :)

Aracama is named after its chef, Fernando Aracama and is co-owned by Tim Yap. From that alone we can already expect the best of both worlds--great food and great lounge experience. Yeap, it serves Filipino food and is also a great venue for partying. I think it's an ingenious combination.
For that night I was able to try their boodle fight offers, It's something new in their menu. Good for 6 people (or 8, since the servings are HUGE) and you can choose between 1. Fiesta (3900) and 2. Salo-Salo (2,900) Both have atcharang gulay, talong, maalat na itlog, ensaladang mangga, kamatis, lumpiang bangus and chicken inasal/ honey barbecue. The difference is that salo-salo has liempo/lechon, tilapia/squid and pichi pichi for dessert. Fiesta has crispy pata, adobo/sinugba, prawns and dulce gatas & bunuelos for dessert.
My favorites would have to be the lumpiang bangus. I swear it's salty, it has noodles and it just has that addicting "finger food" feel that also makes it a perfect ulam. I actually wish I took more of that home. :( We also got to try their fishballs, (posh version) made of cream dory and three sauces (suka, sweet/chili, and manong's sauce). For dessert, both the pichi pichi and dulce gatas & bunuelos were very...Filipino and delicious. The dulce gatas was made by chef Aracama himself so his face was on the can. Hahaha. It was addicting, like melted yema in a can! All barbecued ulams such as the chicken bbq, inasal and liempo were all perfectly cooked. They weren't dry and was very tasty. Although there were sauces, I seldom used them because the meat was tasty in itself. The fish and crispy pata were the highlights of each platter and for a good reason, they were fresh and cooked to perfection. That's what I love most, everything was COOKED TO PERFECTION. :)
Overall, Aracama's boodle fight was definitely a notch higher compared to those that I have tried. The boodle fight experience is something EVERY FILIPINO should try. Eating with your hands, getting to know the people you're with and intimately sharing (and "fighting" for food) your food with them is what makes the boodle fight experience extra special. Aracama has succeeded in making Filipino food look and taste "high class". The place looks classy, the servers are nice, and you can have drinks afterwards in their lounge!
I will definitely be back!

Went there for a birthday night out. This place usually becomes a club after dinner. Their Weng-Weng is pretty good, we got the one in a big glass/caraffe (forgot what it's called) for a little less than a thousand. The only problem is they didn't have chairs to accomodate a big crowd. They have an open bar for the people who reserved couches. The thing is they only have Pica-Pica, and I meant no real food after dinner. Of course some guests would want to have a decent "pulutan", right? Staff were nice, as well as the bouncers!
Had the occasion to eat dinner here besides the bar chow we had before now.
On the bar chow: I think their Not Joes. Nachos is the best nachos I've had in Manila. The idea of giving tortilla chips separate from the topping is unique and ensures that every chip gets its topping. The Gambas version 2.0 was good.
For mains we had Manok sa Tanglad, Sinugba sa Baka and Pinakbet. All the dishes were good with the Pinakbet being quite substantial yet tasty.
By the way we tried DonPapa Rum, which is brewed in Negros. It is very good with a slightly sweet finish.
Two thumbs up for the restaurant for it has, by far, the creamiest and most authentic Kare Kare that I've tasted. The bar, however, is lame, with only a few people going, and not spacious enough for dancing.
Aracama by far is on my top 5 best Filipino restaurant in Metro Manila at least. Filipino food is greasy but Aracama serves them with less of it. I do not find it pricey considering the quality of food, service and ambiance.
This is by far the best Filipino cuisine restaurant in BGC that I have tried so far. The place itself is very relaxing. Their ginisang sitaw, pasta chamba, and graham dessert are my favorite dishes.
I like the food and ambience of this place. It's great for dining and by night tine it's also great for chill out parties. But what I can't forget here is their malunggay dip & Roja Sangria. I almost wanted to order the malunggay dip to bring home.
Aracama has everything to offer--from the scrumptious Filipino dishes (I've literally tried everything off the menu) to enjoying a sangria or two while partying the night away with familiar faces.. They've got you covered! Not to mention I always bring my friends/ foreign guests whenever they're visiting the country.
Everything is perfect. From accommodating staff, cozy ambiance to great food.
