You'll get your money's worth great food
Illy coffee & tinapang bangus breakfast! Great service!
Lovely breakfast. Great eggs. Loved the eggs Benedict and Lumberjack Breakfast.
Food is good and reasonably priced. I particularly like the wagyu tapa for breakfast and the bagnet. They respond promptly to delivery orders.
Loved this restaurant. Very simple and with cozy feels. I really loved their cute size kaldero or should I say diet size kaldero. We ordered kare kare, very generous in serving and di tinipid ang ingredients. Sinigang too appreciate that very maasim taste and bigger cuts of vegetables and lastly, stir fried mixed veggies with oyster sauce, it was nice that veggies was crunchy not overcooked.
Since we work at nights, we are always in search of restos that are open as early as 8AM. And thank you Zomato Gold we found Watering Hole. The ambiance is cozy and perfect for friends and family who wanted to have an intimate breakfast or lunch together. There are four of us when we visited, and when the food were served, at first we thought it was not enough for sharing. My friend said that the food is satisfyingly good. We started with the Truffle Mushroom Pizza and it was so good and light. The Buttermilk Fried Chicken was tender and crispy and the Bagnet was sooo delicious, even the bagoong!!! Staff is accommodating and friendly 👍🏼Definitely worth visiting again 😊
An extensive menu with both local and international offerings coupled with good servings and decent prices make this worth coming back to. Wish the Kesong Puti was available but the Lumberjack Breakfast I ordered more than delivered. Staff was also very informative regarding their offerings and was detailed in explaining the Zomato Gold benefit too. Though I didn't try any alcohol, I will definitely come back here to take a swing at it. And maybe get to finally try that Kesong Puti.

Thanks guys 👍👍👍
I really enjoyed the food! My friends and I ordered Kare Kare, Sinigang and Stir-Fried Vegetables. They have big serving of dishes. Sinigang and Kare Kare are good to share, probably 2-3 persons. They also have a really unique container for the rice. It looks like a small pot. It looks very Filipino style. The restaurant serves good and authentic Filipino food. I also want to try their other dishes. I also used my Zomato Gold. They have restrictions for set menu meal and they only accept cash payment.
Bibingka is one of my fave to eat during Christmas season and I tried to have this delivered at my doorstep so I can try another version of it aside from the Bibingka you can bought at the mall stalls. This one is very delicious and I like how much salted egg they put at their Bibingka.
Order the buttermilk fried chicken. Chicken aside the mashed potatoes are really good. Serving size are good for sharing so good value for money.
My favorite would be their bagnet because of all the food in the menu it’s the most value for money, the rest are so-so compared to other filipino restaus around. Still giving them 4 because they allow puppies in the restau and even gives them water. Service is great.
Ordered CPA and Grilled Tuna Belly. CPA was a little bit oily, and rice serving was a little bit smaller than expected. Taste is excellent, CPA and Grilled Tuna Belly serving size is great, waiters were also very kind and friendly.
Food: The food was really good and meets the standard of home cooked Filipino food. Ordered the Tuna as well as the chicken and pork adobo.
Ambiance: The place was didn't stand out to me. It looked like a regular bar most of the time.
Price: Very pricey for home cooked food, would not eat here if I knew how to cook any of the dishes.. which most people can.

Finally discovered what the hype was all about and it did not disappoint. Food and service was great. The sinigang na baboy just needed a bit of ‘asim’. Over-all, Recommended. Family: Happy!
I can say, this is one of the Burgos pride! The food won’t disappoint you. Their Cafe Mocha Frappe is the bomb! Try it yourself and you’ll find out why. ❤️
I was craving Filipino food & I wasn’t disappointed. The Arroz Caldo & Dinuguan was perfect! Service was fast & good! I’ll definitely be back here again. 😋
Just passed by this resto and decided to eat here. I liked the proper serving of wine, very informative. I loved the buttery/milky fried chicken! Impressed.
One of Burgos Circle’s best! Their Chicken Pork Adobo is definitely a hit plus their Chicharong Bulaklak is really great, without any disgusting smell of after taste. The place can also serve big groups.
Food: 4.5/5
Ambiance: 4/5
Value for Money: 4/5
I am writing this review for the breakfast being served at Watering Hole. I happened to eat breakfast at Watering Hole two times in one week. The first time, I ordered the Lumberjack's Breakfast and the last one, I ordered Eggs Benedict. The Lumberjack's Breakfast is filling enough as is the Eggs Benedict. The Eggs Benedict though has a tad more mustard than I would have liked. My rating for the place is 3.3.
Service - 4/5
Ambiance - 3/5
Value for Money - 3
Tip: Coffee is paid by the cup. If you come as a big group, you might wait for a longer time than usual.
Restaurant ambience is fine, nothing too exceptional. Really good Filipino classics especially breakfast meals like Wagyu Tapa and Vigan Home made Longganisa but the price is quite steep for such meals, given that one can afford such in even on home cooked meals. Staff is very prompt which is very good.
Had the most expensive traditional merienda of arroz caldo (225) and palitaw (145) but the portions were huge and I couldn't complain about the taste.
Price worthy of what I have ordered! Their french toast is EVERYTHING! Everything in this plate is cooked in perfection! Even if some are expensive, I'll definitely come back here.
This is near to the office but it's my first time to eat here. I ordered pork binagoongan which I think is a shrimp paste. While my officemate ordered bagnet. The serving is big enough to make you really full and dizzy 😂 at the same time.. The tastes is good. I would recommend it. The place is also nice and staffs were attentive.
Came in for lunch and wasn't disappointed. Though for me, there is nothing fancy (just yet) on the food.
Maybe my friend and I ordered some classics like the Spinach and Mushroom omelet, and Spanish Sardines. I have to try yet other options from their menu.
I was walking along Burgos Circle after coming from another café when I saw how beautifully the afternoon sunlight reflected off of the windows of the Watering Hole and also on the tables situated up front. Long story short, I went in because another coffee wouldn't hurt, right? 😜☕️
Upon entering, I instantly took a liking to their monochromatic setting. To top it all off, the crew were quite friendly and I liked the taste of their house blend brewed coffee.
They're actually just across the street from me and I normally don't pay attention to this place until now. Last night, I ordered a Meatball Pasta and there's something really different about it that made me want to order a second round. In taste it's on par with most high end restaurant but that's where the similarities end. The Tomato is soft and juicy and for some odd reason not exactly sour but not sweet either... I can't explain it but I certainly want to CHEW more of it and the pasta?... It's cooked just right... Now let me clarify that the "Just Right" comment I made is very biased since it's my taste. I prefer my pasta to be firm yet not hard. The meatball is nothing special though... it's well... a meatball and is best consumed immediately after serving. The second order had the meatballs shrunk by about 10% and is harder to chew so again... eat when fresh. Tried to call them if they do delivers (I'm just like right in front of them) but unfortunately, not enough staff to accommodate deliveries. Shall I eat there again... OH YOU BET I WOULD! Php 295.00 for that pasta is kinda expensive but trust me, it's worth it... The oily sauce in the pasta is so flavorful that I'm almost tempted to lick the plate... no really...
Went here last night for my friend's birthday. We chose to order meals that are good for sharing. We ordered Bagnet, Buttermilk Chicken, Sizzling Pusit and Spaghetti with Spicy Tuyo Flakes and additional garlic and plain rice :) What we enjoyed the most is their pasta! It's a must try meal! Bagnet and sizzling pusit is also good! Chicken is just okay since I'm not really a fan of buttermilk chicken 😁 but my friend really enjoyed the Chicken :)) we also tried their buy one take one cocktails - Margarita and Mojito. The mix of margarita was too strong for my taste but the Mojito is good. Staff were all accommodating and they made sure to address all our needs. :))
Ordered Longganisa Cebu.... food is alright.. very small portion though, as you can see in the picture. Very small portion for a 295 (almost 300) worth of meal.
We were craving for a filipino food when we were exploring the burgos circle, we found other nice places but they're packed so when we found watering hole, i thought the place is perfect for a sunday night chill.
We had their pork sisig, bulalo soup and kare-kare. The food was good, no fusion stuff happening, which for me was great, just straight forward filipino dish. The servings were generous and the prices are reasonable. You also have the option of drinking after a good meal so it's a pretty good deal.
Came to bgc looking a place to have breakfast.tried their lumberjacks breakfast while my gf tried the wagyu tapa.the tapa was surprisingly ordinary.haha.though i enjoyed what i had.their serving is large.and plating was pleasing.
I remember trying out the dishes at Watering Hole during their soft opening, and I have been back a number of times ever since. They serve all-day Filipino breakfast staples but it's their seriously good fried chicken that keeps me coming back - more on that later. The place is a small cozy spot in Bonifacio Global City that's a perfectly good brunch spot.
Here's what you should expect from Watering Hole...
Travelled quite far to have dinner and desserts tonight. I came from my home base, Ortigas. My friend wanted pasta and I had a mini tour of Burgos Circle before finally deciding here.
Watering Hole had a seemingly over fusion of Filipino. They have Italian, American and classic Filipino.
The Macaroni with Longanissa was just okay. It was typical macaroni and cheese. They just topped it Vigan Longanissa. They could have infused it better.
The Sizzling Squid even at small portion was most impressive. The meat was cooked perfectly and simple seasoning like vinegar and soy sauce worked well.
Mixed Vegetables looked unappetizing but surprisingly good with its touch of sweet flavor. The vegetable mixture was also well balanced.
2nd review: Went here for a baby shower. They are okay with just Php 5,000 consumable to get the venue. Got their Halo Halo and its a miss. Although the Yema was a nice touch, it was done carelessly with chunky toppings. The ice was almost whole and for the price tag of Php 269, skip this for sure,
I've been passing by this cafe/bar many times and got the chance to dine. Nothing's really special on their menu. It's just the typical menu you see from other restos but I guess nobody minds as long as you are decided what to eat really. So we had set plate....I had the Bagnet one and my love got his fancy Strogannoff lol. My plate includes a yummy bagoong to match with my nilagang talong with diced kamatis! And of course suka for my bagnet! Yum! As for my love's dish, he got what he wanted....beef. Not that I wasn't impressed with the food and presentation. I just think he didn't get the value for his money. But definitely, we'll be coming back to try out their other selections.
Our attending waiter confirmed that this is the same Watering Hole that was in Shang-ri La.
The place is very cozy. We sat outside and the surrounding place was very relaxing.
We only tried their Sisisg and Bagnet, nothing extraordinary. The menu though has a fair selection of food to choose from.
Overall, for sentimental reason, I'm glad we found The Watering Hole again.
At first look, the watering hole seems to sport steep prices but upon looking closer, there are definitely items that are more affordable in their menu. We had Pancit Habhab, Bagnet, Beef Tapa, Slow-cooked Pork and Sisig. The Pancit Habhab was a joy to eat, distinguishing itself from just any regular pancit. It came with a good balance of noodles and veggies and meat. The beef tapa was not sinewy (something I absolutely hate) and was easy to cut through. Every dish was elevated, both in terms of taste and presentation. My colleagues definitely enjoyed their dishes, and with servings big enough for sharing (although you'll have to clarify with the waiter which ones are for sharing and are not), we definitely enjoyed our Friday lunch out -- truly, food so hearty, you'd feel good after a stressful week!
Service was good, with waiters consciously attending to our needs. Be wary, however, as serving time may take quite some time especially during times when the place is packed. With a good ambiance, this will make for a nice meal with officemates or a casual date with a friend.
Friday lunch out led us to Watering Hole. We wanted to eat something special since the week had been a stressful one for all of us. Looking at the menu I was a bit worried because there's limited choices (na naging limited pa lalo because some ingredients are not available) and eveything seemed ordinary. From someone who cooks, I also thought that the dishes are overpriced. We decided to share food to limit our spendings. I shared bagnet with one of my mates and shared the pancit habhab with another one. The others ordered the sisig, slow cooked pork belly and beef tapa (sorry no pic of the tapa).
But wow! am so glad that we tried this joint. I would say that out of all the dishes my favorite is the pancit habhab (I might be biased because I'm a pancit lover). The serving is big enough that everyone in our table was able to taste it and everyone loved it. The bagnet is good (I especially like it with the tomato salsa) but I wish there are a more pieces added in the serving. The sisig is good as well, the tapa is yummy and very tender and the slow cooked pork belly with it's sauce (I call it pata tim sauce reduction) is delish.
Overall everyone enjoyed the food. If I were to replicate any of the dishes in my kitchen, I'll do the slow cooked pork belly but will pair it with a balsamic vinegar reduction as it's sauce.
I will return here just to eat their pancit habhab again and maybe try the recommendation of a foodie friend to try the buttermilk fried chicken.
The ambiance is nice and the place is clean and the service is great💚💚💚💚. The food is good 💚💚💚💚. While I understand that for a resto located in BGC, the price is already acceptable, as a regular working class employee, I wish the prices are a bit lower 💚💚.

Celebrated halloween with my gal pals
Perfect place for chit chatting; feels like we have privacy.food was good yet a bit pricey. It's just that the other food and beverage from the menu aren't available.hopefully next time all of those are ready to serve.clean and neat store with accommodating and respectful staff.😊
I wanted to try this place so went there for some breakfast.
Ordered the lumberjack breakfast and it was pretty good, but not very memorable. The bacon was the really good double smoked bacon from Earle's but it was not cooked evenly (had some crispy and some barely cooked). The chicken sausage was just ok. The eggs were pretty bland so needed salt and pepper and had to ask for maple syrup for the french toast.
Nothing really wrong with the food or the service....it was just ok. That said, it was very cheap compared to Early Bird Breakfast Club and about the same quality so I would come back here before going back to EBBC.
Overall pretty good food with good service. Worth having a meal.
Great presentation of food matched with taste. Try their fluffy buttermilk pancakes.
Ambience is warm and the interior is not your ordinary 'watering hole'.
The service is great. Food came earlier than we expected. The staff was intuitive and very attentive.
We ordered sisig, bulalo, cinnamon Saba and chocolate soufflé.
Sisig was amazing. The Saba was amazing. Also the restaurant service was good could be worked on a little bit but it was ok.
The bulalo was alright I guess, wrong choice on our part to order it in this type of restaurant. We had better bulalo.
I left a thank you feedback for doing the anniversary chocolate message for the soufflé. As it is not something they do.
Overall it was good experience.

Everything's dandy at this cozy resto... From the delightful interiors down to its sumptuous dishes. Lunch is best served with their hefty and tender-licious Chicken Pork Adobo coupled with a cupful of hot garlic rice. They also have that rich, creamy Cheese Macaroni dish too. Totally more favorable ambiance compared to the Watering Hole Shangrila Edsa I've been to a couple of years back. 😋
Great breakfast selection! Loved the home made corned beef and beef salpicao. The buttermilk fried chicken is a must, though to lessen the guilt, one shouldn't try to finish it on his own. The amount of oil's better for sharing than single served :) I would definitely go back for the choco lava cake!
The all-day breakfast meals at the Watering Hole were delicious. We had a number of items on the menu - Pork Sisig, Gambas, Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Beef Tapa, and Longanisa. The Watering Hole did not disappoint.
Bestsellers: Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Beef Tapa, Lumberjack's Breakfast
The Buttermilk Fried Chicken deserves special mention because it was juicy good in the inside and had crunch outside. It was perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of salt and spices. The Beef Tapa was very soft and tender. These are two meals I can eat over and over again.
Food Quality: 4.5
