Awesome coffee here at Toby’s. The Flat White is strong, bold and smooth. Heat temperature is spot on as well. It’s not overwhelmingly hot. Not a lot of places do it this way.
Their coffee is so good! You should try it out with the special blend which has some rich darker taste. We got the Flat White and is always a favorite!
This is the yummiest chocolate cake I've tasted! Bruce Bogtrotter is best paired with the smoothest coffee brew in town, Toby's Estate Long Black. ☕👌
⚠️: It'll keep calling you back for more... Bruce-Bruce-BRUCE BOGTROTTER! 😛
Had my 1st slice yesterday, and then tonight i came back for another.
It is WORTH IT! Yumzah! 💯

I am a coffee lover so trust me when I say that Toby’s Long Black Coffee is one of the best black coffees out there. Never fails to provide me with my daily doze of caffeine.
Have been drinking tobys estate for a while. They have really great lattes. Im quite familiar with thier milk. Its not uht and keeps it extra creamy and fatty. Thier espresso mathes it very well with strong body and chocolatey taste

I love the simplicity of their menu, you won’t get overwhelmed with it. The seats tend to be occupied most of the time, I wasn’t able to stay because of this and had mine to go.
I love everything about this place except...they deserve a bigger place! I love their coffee, the pastry, and everything they sell. Whenever I'm in BGC I would always find a way to make a stop here at Toby's.
For the most coffee lovers all over the world, the effort that the Cafe's put to entice and make coffee enthusiasts come back for more means a lot. We too love that feeling of wanting more coffee and spending hours socializing and networking in a Coffee Shop.
I'm happy that Toby's did a good job bringing their specialties and best coffee here in the country.
This is always my go to place for dessert. I always order the milk chocolate chip cookie. It is chewy with the right amount of sweetness. Love that this branch is just right outside Toy Kingdom so I could enjoy a treat while the kiddo is in the toy store.

At first, their items seem a little pricey but after much thought they’re actually not when you compare the size to others. Take for example the 2 cakes we had: the Pistachio Cheesecake is ₱250 and the (famous) Calamansi Pie is ₱190 but the size is pretty substantial and large (probably even double the size of the cheesecake and calamansi pie being served in Starbucks and Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf respectively which are tiny!).
If you ask me, yes, I’m quite bothered by the artificial-looking green colors of these cakes but I guess I’ve just gotten used to (and gotten over) them and have decided to focus instead on the taste and texture which are both good! The addition of whipped cream on the side when served is a yummy addition that complements the cakes especially the sweet & tart calamansi pie. (For take out though, not sure if they include the whipped cream. I’m sure they would if you asked but it WILL melt if you don’t consume right away.)
The Iced Mocha was also good but for sweet coffee drinkers like me, I like to request for extra syrup on the side for me to add into my drink.
P.S. I reviewed what we had earlier today but they have more pretty good pastries like the Bucky’s and cookies which I’ve enjoyed in the past.
We went there on a weekend and meriende coffee time, the place was full as expected, since there are also few tables, luckily there's a bar at the back of the area where you can sit and relax. We ordered the mocha and iced flat white and some bars and banana bread.
Overall coffee experience is ok, the cashier was kind enough to explain the differences of the coffee and of the pastries.
My go to place to get my Flat White fix. Though, this is my first time in this branch. The spot is perfect for that in between shopping coffee break. It’s near Crate and Barrel. Not a good venue for a quiet time though since its in front of Toy Kingdom and in an open space at a mall so expect loud kids and chatter. Coffee is definitely great.
I have been to quite a few coffee shops in the metro & tried multiple coffee variations, but a cup from Toby's is probably one of the most consistent, smoothest & balanced I have tasted. Every sip is a pleasurable experience with whatever drink I order - hot or cold, flat white or latte. The consistency in flavor is amazing & each cup is always worth the money. Just one noteworthy pet peeve for me of this place: location is too open & awkward, giving it a lack of intimate ambiance nice coffee shops, in general, exude.

coffee is super good. if you’re a coffee lover, this would be coffee haven for you. Prices compete with existing commercial coffee shops which is good plus you’ll get good quality coffee. They do latte art too which is a cool touch. very instagramable too. I ordered Bucky’s Original, and for me it was just alright. It’s not that it’s not good, i just have another brownie taste in mind. I would just have to comment on the cashier at that time. He seemed like he didnt want to take orders which i really hate but yeah that’s the only bad thing that i have to say. Overall it was an awesome experience. will definitely go back.
Perfect seating by the toy store. You can sit down and relax while your kids go crazy in the toy store. Because you do know they want to look at every toy in there.
Got a curry pie which took a bit long to be served. The chocolate brookie is good.
Good coffee, awkward location. I'm sure it's good for the business to be visible when you take the escalators, but the lifestyle of coffee has far beyond extended from just getting your cuppa to a place to have quiet conversations, focused enough to brainstorm. Or y'know I could just be in the wrong branch. Anyway, they sell coffee and it's good so yes 4.0 :)

Their hot mocha drink is really flavorful. I wouldn’t mind adding more water to it. Hahaha.
If you would try the pastries, I would suggest that you get a tea based drink since the flavor is very much concentrated (in a good way).
SM Aura booth is the first one I’ve decided to try. The Shangri La branch is the one I frequent.
The Toby's branch that I most frequent, though it's so far away...
Though I do love their mocha, I opted to try their chai latte for a change. I thought it was pretty good and another great drink option at Toby's. I would recommend Where's Marcel's Dirty Chai Latte for chai lovers out there.
Must tries would always be the calamansi pie and pistachio cheesecake... The carrot cake looked a little intimidating for me though--with the scary candied carrots on top.
I think it's the branch with the most efficient baristas, though not the friendliest... It's not so bad, I still like the branch.
How I miss fine tasting coffee! Toby's is definitely the place to visit for your daily coffee fix. I miss the taste of coffee back home and this is where you can find decent tasting coffee. Forget about Starbucks, this is where you should be for coffee! Definitely try their Flat White!
Calamsi Pie – sour and tart with sweetness in it. It was as usual perfect – creamy and yummy! I enjoyed my Chai Chocolate on the other hand.
The strong taste of Chai surprisingly went well with their chocolate. The two didn’t over power each other. It was such a refreshing drink!
The Pinoy Lime also known as Calamansi. Dayap in Filipino Literature, the fruit that Don Juan used on his wound, this is after the Ibong Adarna's wicked serenade.
Calamansi is versatile. Adds a lil tang in pancit, relieves sore throat when drank as juice, serves as the perfect condiment when mixed with soy sauce or fish sauce and goes well with pie...wait...what? Pie!!!
Yes, the coffee joint that is known for the best flat white in the Metro offers Calamansi Pie. I love anything citrus so this dessert has been under my radar for quite sometime.
On to the pie. Aesthetically speaking, the pie looks appetizing, biased opinion, i am such a sucker for anything teal. Thinly sliced crust topped with teal calamansi not-custard/not-cream cheese filling. Slathered with whipped cream.
The crust, i aint sure if it's a concontion of graham, oats and muesli. The nutty flavor is a breath of air, this is something that sets them apart from the other coffee joints.
The filing. This deserves a separate paragraph. Semi-sweet, tangy, smooth and creamy. The citrus flavor of the Calamansi stands out. This makes the pastry extremely addicting. It goes well with the nutty crust. Melt-in-your-mouth with nutty goodness.
How do i love thee, let me count the ways:
Not overly sweet
Has the right amount of citrus flavor
Affordable
Nutty crust
Ideal serving size
Aesthetically appealing and
It's teal!
I rest my case.
Quick coffee break here at Toby's Estate - SM Aura. The hugot "Kape na kaya ka ipaglaban" really fits Iced Mocha of Toby's Estate. The drink is really strong. Will soon try out their hot drinks for my next visit. As for their pastry - I did not have the chance to try their Calamansi Pie due to its not available the time of our visit.
I suggest for them to have additional pastry offerings. I like how their place in SM Aura is situated in the mid-mall place that can be a waiting area for a quick break after mall-hopping.
Hot mocha is excellent! Tried out the bucky's and cream, because of the good things I've read about it. Not bad, but it's not for me. It was to hard for my taste. Will definitely come back and try the pistachio cheesecake ❤
Ahhh! Their coffee is so good and way way better than starbucks. Plus, their Bucky's original is a must try. I'm definitely going back here and try all their coffee and bucky's.
What a quaint spot in SM Aura. It's quite a populated mall and this is probably the most quiet in the entire mall.
Thier warm Mocha with artisanal design is really a favorite. Did you know their coffee machine is worth Php 1.4M. That's a lot of coffee sales to get it back. But I believe they will.
The Calamansi Pie at Php 190 is forgettable. It looked real nice with such a green delightful color but it was so sweet and the sour flavor is gone to the sharks.
Their other pastries especially the Original Buck is so awesome. Get those instead.
FOOD I tried the recommended Flat White Coffee and a little of the Calamansi Pie. Its was all good.
SERVICE Coffee shops are always made to order and self-service. So you always have to wait. Its worth in my part. And no one bothered us even if we stayed more than 2 hours in their area.
PLACE A stall near the Baby Company shop. Perfect for tired people who want a place to relax and drink coffee. It looks nice too.
PRICE Same same but different. P150 for my big cup and P190 for the Calamansi Pie.
OVER-ALL Well if I get tired in that same area again, I'm sure that I'll be staying their for their coffee.
If Zomato has 3.75 rating, I'd give it to this coffee shop. But im feeling generous so od give this a 4. The place isnt your typical meet and chill cafe because it is very open. I ordered their hot mocha and waited for about 15min before it got served. Kinda frustrating because it is my 1st time to be served with a coffee worth 160 that isnt even full. Well the coffee tastes really good but not that smooth. You just have to sip a little and enjoy evry drop to make ur 160 pesos worth it.
What happens a coffee lover meets Toby's Estate? He falls in love with their coffee. Bitter, punchy, made to perfect drinking temperature.
My favorite coffee shop in all of Manila. Worth every peso.
The yana banana... Best. Can't say enough positive things about these guys.
Do yourself a favor and get the cafe latte.
Awesome and much needed!! Again tried many coffees in the area and coming from Melbourne I know my coffee! :) Toby's once again delivered a true Flat White! Thanks guys for an awesome coffee :)
Sometimes you will go against the grain. I found it here in Toby's Estate.
The Long Black or the Flat White. Something about their coffee that just grows on you. And so far I ain't trippin'. In fact, I'm rollin'!
Looks like I'll be high on their third wave coffee. A big problem for my budget.
Yo, Toby. Any plans of putting up a place on the south side of the metro?
If you're looking for real coffee, skip the (crowded) Starbucks and head over to Toby's Estate. Great roasts and yummy treats. Must try: buckies! And if you're looking for a caffeine kick but want something other than espresso, their Long Black is the answer.
And oh, it doesn't hurt that their barista (with the manbun) is cute, too. I mean, good! Good barista. Haha.
Overall, great coffee, yummy pastries, good service.
Tried this in their SM branch. I was really satisfied with my speculoos waffle. While my sister and dad went for some caffeine. I hope they'll have their own location and not just a stall. Pretty sure their cafe would look nice
Admittedly, I'm a tea-kind of guy. But, the Flat White Coffee was one great! I tried the Mocha too, and it was okay. Tried their Tuna Bun, and the Corned Beef Bun - it tasted okay. Ill try to drop by the place again as I was eyeing their Chorizo Turnover but it wasn't available that time. Tip: They sell their pastries and savories at 30% off after 6:00 PM.
If you are looking for just honest-to-goodness cup of coffee (whether you take it black, capp or a latte) THIS IS THE COFFEE SHOP TO GO TO. One of the better third wave coffee shops to have sprung up around the metro, Toby's Estate had established its no-frills-only-excellent-coffee image well enough to both coffee rookies and snobs alike.
I also love the fact that they tied-up with Bucky's Counter, and in so doing, they have just created a fantastic pairing that is Bucky's and Coffee. I usually love my coffee freshly brewed and black, but I just fell in love with their cappuccino and the Gibraltar, which is actually an off-the-menu drink. I was absolutely sold on my first sip (if this review hadn't given you enough presumption of that fact) and I have been one of their loyal royals ever since. Here's an awesome shout out to the equally awesome baristas over at my frequented Toby's Estate in SM Aura! Keep up
the good, good work Toby's Estate PH!
This is a great alternative if you are looking for a place that's different from the ubiquitous green mermaid. The coffee menu is to the point without complicating your mind with useless calorie-inducing selections.
I ordered a mocha to pair with a blondie bar. This is the first time I have tasted a Mocha that wasn't hot enough to ruin your taste buds. The Mocha was robust and deep. A far cry from the ones I have had which felt like they mixed instant coffee + chocolate powder. The consistency is spot on. I was able to distinctly taste the coffee and chocolate in the drink.
Thr blondie bar was dense and chewy. It was served cold. I forgot if it had nuts in it. Must be because I was enjoying the Mocha.
Definitely going back.
