Kare kare,pork sisig,crispy pata,fried chicken yo name a few food that really make me comeback and ordering.
A big food chain in Philippines and my go to place to satisfy afternoon hunger as it's located near my office.
I have tried various dishes here, the best of all is Chicken sisig.
Chicken marinated in mayonnaise with half boiled egg on it with some amount of rice. The bet to satisfy the hunger.
Also a complementary drink is served.

My friends and I tried their sisig (from booky) and we were kind of disappointed since it was really full of onion. The place was fine. And they serve the food was just fine. I liked their chicken. And fried rice.
Staff at every max's are nice. Other than their chicken, I we ordered sinigang and it was to die for. I love that it was not too sour and was just right.
Chicken sisig - chicken used was roasted. Medyo nakakaintimidate usually ang chicken sisig kasi minsan mabuto and di mo makita, pero eto meat part lang talaga. Walang umay factor kahit na may mayonnaise dahil sa celery, so fresh yung lasa. However, I'm not a fan of celery. Feeling ko tuloy kumain ako ng chicken salad. I was surprised na yung siling green ay crunchy at hindi "luto," I like my chili fingers to be almost wilted na para makain ko sya. Pero for presentation, it served its purpose.
Sago't gulaman - I like the glass and the fancy small spoon used. Hindi overpowering yung arnibal and may variety sa sago. Yummy.
Lonely table just for one.
When everyone had their partners dining with them that time, I was having my late lunch plus dinner by myself. I had my all time favorite from Max's ~ Pancit Canton (regular) , Fresh Lumpia and Bottomless Iced Tea. Serving of Pancit Canton was really big. Perfect for my two meals! Yummm! Solved! 😋
Service was really good as the server was always available when I need him for refill.
The place is a bit small and there was a queue during that time.
Overall, it was a good dining experience.

This Max’s branch is my go to place when craving for non-fastfood / “real” food while waiting for hubby to finish with work. I usually dine here alone or sometimes with hubby during his break since this branch is just near his office. Plus factor is that they are open for 24 hours. Credit Card transactions though are not available between 10pm to midnight since I think they’re having system refresh. I love their Chopsuey meal, it’s my default order. The hubby always order their Tofu Sisig which, I must say, is also really good. Love the food, happy that they’re always open whenever hunger strikes!UPDATE:Soup of the day-Tinolang Manok tastes like arroz caldo. Yum!UPDATE:I love their Fried Pork Belly and Shrimp Sinigang! Though the portion they serve it is good for 2-3 persons, at P499 it was truly worth it. Broth was a bit thick and so so good particularly at the day I ordered it, it was raining. Would’ve wanted more veggies though.UPDATE:What happened to the taste of your food Max’s.. Pancit Canton was super salty. Pork Sinigang was super sour. So disappointed.
Whenever I'm with family, friends, and officemates. Max is always an option. They have your no-frills fried chicken. Consistent over the years, and very good lunch meal combos. What we usually order is the quarter fried chicken and fresh lumpia combo. You can ask them for fresh garlic it makes the lumpia even better. Service was good too, and the caramel bar was a nice end to the meal.
Max's is Max's. Classic fried chicken meets grilled chicken BBQ.
Went here last week for lunch -- and on Fridays, it's always jampacked. Service, as usual, is superb.
Grabbed a box of mango caramel bars on my way out.
When craving for classic & unadulterated pinoy comfort food-- head to Max's (Bonifacio Global City, if I may add). ***Food- 3.5/ Ambiance-3/ Value for Money 4
Of course Max never lets me down, the chicken is of course is “sagad to bones” ... this time i tried the Nilagang Baka and Stuffed Tofu which compliment the chicken we ordered.

The House That Fried Chicken Built has built a good meal for me.
I don’t often go to Max’s, but when I do I always enjoy their Basic Meal (P190). It consists of a quarter of their famous fried chicken with steamed rice or rolls, a glass of either soda or iced tea, and a caramel bar from their bakery.
The chicken is soft and buttery, with a thin crispy skin that gives a gentle crackle and pop with each bite. I enjoy putting a lot of ketchup with my chicken as it adds a delightful sour tang.
The iced tea is refreshing and the caramel bar is chewy but not crumbly. Both are sweet but not overly so. Guests can request for unlimited iced tea for an additional price. The same is true for upgrading the rice to garlic rice.
For dessert I got the chance to try their Mango Créme (P75). It is like a cheese cake on a graham cracker bottom with mango bits and grains of buttery, sugary streusel. Each bite is sour from the mango, before leading to the cooling cream, and then ending with the sweetness of graham cracker and streusel. I recommend this dessert when wanting something new from their selection.
The staffs are expectedly accommodating and courteous. The service is very good. However, I was a bit disappointed because the tapa all day breakfast meal that I ordered was not freshly served. It was not served hot. It compromised the flavorful taste of the tapa and garlic rice. And, the wifi in the restaurant's not connecting. The staffs said the signal is too low. I hope these things will improve next time.
Sharing good food with friends is always fun with small chit chats while eating. This is really a nice place to eat. Serving good tasting filipino food, max's is known best for its chicken. The service is good, the staffs are nice and accommodating.
A have not been to this restaurant in ages and was just in the mood to have a go at it. I did the natural thing and ordered their well known chicken but chose the bigger version instead of the original spring chicken. I also tested their take on the tokwa and baboy as a side.
The minute the savory chicken arrived, memories of my childhood poured in - nostalgic. They managed to maintain that distinct Max's chicken signature, just awesome! The tokwa was a pleasant surprise as well 😊. I would have easily rated their food a "4" but their service needs improvement; staff lacks the customer-centric mindset, a tad too lazy looking and disengaged.
Good place to eat. The service time is good. Love how they assist large groups of people and make them comfortable. The place was a bit small though but it was very cozy. They could make some improvements on the way the chicken is being cooked though as it was quite dry.
Have a Filipino craving or a Balikbayan over? Can't go wrong with what Max's offers. It's not the best but it satisfies. Besides the big portion flavorful chicken, always have their chopseuy. You can have it with chicken. Favorites there also include ampalaya con carne and sinigang.
