I went here for a quick dinner. I ordered Black Pepper Chicken with Kimchi Rice just for 245php.
The rice got a kick in spice which is good. Their chicken is quite tasty too! It's definitely worthy for its price.
Oh and I almost forgot they also have really cute interiors! :)
The only Takoyaki I crave for!! The serving is worth the price and is for sharing. Chicken Katsu Omurice is also our favorite! Pearls in their milk tea though small, are very soft.
We tried this place because of the word Tokyo (lol, lamest reason ever) but we’re not disappointed. The place was so cuuuute, I would come here everyday just because of the place and ambiance. We only ordered their cheesecake drinks, I enjoyed mine. My friend also enjoyed his drink. I would definitely try their rice foods next time.

Ordered via Grab Food. Tastes nice. Large size option will be nice if it could be larger though or at least an extra large variant like in My Girl (won't mind paying extra).
This place gets a plus because they play Macross Frontier songs. Also, gyudon bowl’s really tasty. Takoyaki is crispy outside and soft on the inside.
Teriyaki Chicken Doria. This is my favorite dish and the reason why I come here. Everything else is okay. The sushi is okay and so is their milk tea. It's on the espensive side also so I don't come here often.
But when I do, it's Doria time. Just look at that cheesy stringy rice and the delicious sauce poured over the chicken. Yum!
Love their honeydew bubble tea. It’s rare and we never find it in any other bubble tea shop. They have great range of brunch menu as well. Good place to hang out around your neighborhood.
Honestly, I tried this because it has a “Tokyo” word on its name.. bc I loooOoooOoooove Japan! It didn’t disappoint tho, from the ambience to the milk tea, which is the only thing I tried on the menu. It’s a little bit on the pricey side for it’s taste but the vibe and menu layout got me. Lol 😬✌🏻
We were craving for milk tea so we tried Tokyo Bubble Tea. Staffs were friendly and welcoming. Price was reasonable. Place was cozy and clean. I really loved the bubbles /pearls, it was chewy and sweet. I will be back to try their other menu.
Incred... FANTASTIC Teriyaki Chicken Doria ❤️
It has everything you want: kanin, maraming keso, sibuyas, kabute, and of course the teriyaking manok itself! The meal is not cheap (around php 300) but really, *really* worth it. The serving size is perfect for me. I love that steaming pile of happiness.
Oh, have I mentioned I’ve been here maraming beses? Yeah, I’m a big fan of their teriyaki chicken. But there’s more to it. Meron sila ng masarap na masarap ang mga JCC! Ang pinakapaboritong JCC ko ay Honedew Melon. Alam ko nagpowder ito pero tastes so real. The bubbles are just right. Soft on the outside and chewy inside.
Finally, their Caesar salad is one of the best Caesar salads I’ve tried (and I’ve had a lot). It’s quite expensive (more than php 250) and the serving size needs to be bigger, but it’s still a true gem.
The interior is cute but the light’s a bit dim. Ordered Royal Milk Tea w/ bubbles & Almond Milk Tea w/ bubbles. You can taste the tea and its creaminess, I like it! Servings are quite large as well (love their mugs). For the salmon sashimi, it’s P175 per order. It’s not bad for the price, you get what you paid for.
Tried the royal milk tea with 50% sugar only. I really enjoyed it. It was the perfect amount of sweetness for me. I can't imagine how sickly sweet it would be if it's at the regular 100% sweetness. It has small pearls and large pearls, which was great for texture. The pearls were perfectly cooked. Something a bit odd was that they used small crushed ice. Since the straw is wide, every sip I took had bits of ice chips. It was weird at first, but it strangely grew on me and added to the texture.
For a quick milk tea break, we headed to Tokyo bubble tea for some royal milk tea and bubbles. Tokyo bubble tea has a strong tea flavor and their bubbles are cooked al dente, there’s a bit of a bite. But a good to-go snack. It’s very affordable for 100 pesos.
I love their honeydew milktea at pink volcano maki. Love the food 👌. But their staff needs to be more accomodating, I feel like their to tried to work. Pictures in there menu are better than actual.
I recommend this place perfect for a meet up with friends. The ambience feels “kawaii” which was very japanese for us and we loved it. Food tastes great coupled with their generous servings. I only have one thing to call out. Service charge was very expensive. Everything else is A-Okay! Try this place!
Place is in a good location. Food taste good and the royal milk tea is actually good with just the right sweetness on it. I like how tiny the pearls they have on their milk tea.
The cheapest and easy-to-go-to Japanese restaurant you can go to. 👌🏻
This was the first place my boyfriend took me out for a lunch out, well, we weren't dating at that time. It was just a date date.
Anywaaaay, this is the only place I can get a decent Gyudon. Their unique makis are also spot-on.

A good place to be with friends and loved ones.
Enjoyed the pork katsudon and spicy california rolls along with the double chocolate milk shake.
Note: This review is long overdue. Based on a visit dated May 23, 2017.
In the States, Starbucks was having a hype on one of their drinks named the Unicorn Frappuccino. Starbucks here in the Philippines never got it into their menu, but there were some restaurants that wanted to get into the colorful, unicorn hype. Tokyo Bubble Tea was one of them. The drinks were called, Sakura Unicorn Milkshakes, coming in 2 flavors. One was strawberry and the other, taro.
Since strawberry is my fave of fruits, I thought that I would order that, but the manager told me that the taro tasted way better. So, I ordered that. Still got to try the strawberry one as I was with my neices and nephew. The youngest ordered strawberry obviously. She didn't know what taro was.
Anyways, the strawberry tasted awful, kind of like cough syrup. The taro on the other hand, was heavenly and refreshing. The little one found things quite the opposite, she happily stuck to her strawberry.
We ordered quite a bit of food, but I will breifly talk about mine only. As I am a salmon lover, I opted to get 2 salmon appetizers: Salmon Sashimi and Pink Volcano Roll. Sashimi was fresh. The roll, I really enjoyed it as it was spicy--the little chili logo was the reason why I probably ordered it too.
For my main, I wanted a rice bowl, so I got the Teriyaki Chicken Doria. The wasabi cream caught my attention on the menu. There was also loads of umaminess coming from the mushroom flavor. I loved it.
Food: 5.0 - Loved it all!
Price: 4.5 - Quite doable. Portions were actually generous.
Service: 5.0 - Accomodating, friendly, and fast.
Ambience: 3.0 - I found it a bit average like any cafe but of course, cozy still. With it's playful menu design, it would have been nice to see it's playfulness within resto interiors.
A place to go back to. Food is yummy!
If you're looking for a quick milk tea fix in the middle of the night, this is the right place to go.
I have been here twice with my friends & both times we ended up at this place late at night since every other milk tea shop in the area was closed! It is our reliable go-to milk tea place since it is open until 4am & serves a variety of milk tea flavors to pique anyone's curiosity.
Overall, great operating hours, always reliable for the sudden cravings.
Went there around midnight.few people. Good ambiance. Good service. Delicious food. Love strawberry ice cream milkshake.
Hard to find parking.
Food 5/5. Tried their Black Pepper Chicken with Kimchi Rice and it's yummyyyyyyyyy. Had their cakes too and they were good.
Ambience 3/5. Too crowded feeling. Like a bunch of tables and chairs just randomly placed where they will fit.
Price = 5/5. Worth it! Not too pricey.
Chicken Teriyaki-Don and KatSu-Don taste perfect with my choosy taste buds. We also ordered this sweet Chocolate Ice cream Top. Superb! Taste perfect to end the busy week😊.
We almost enjoyed the place with the food but because it is small place , we hardly hear each other because of the sound of the blender used for smoothies.
Ery pleasantly surprised of how our dine out turned out to be.
The noodles soup I ordered was filling and tasted decent enough.
The pork tonkatsu was huge, and pretty tasty. Same goes with the rice bowl topping.
The only downside was the price. Like a notch higher than usual fast food.
I had to pay more than a hundred for the instant juice drink I had (which I enjoyed, but it still is just an instant drink mix).
Spicy tuna salad FTW! They serve it with generous amount of crunchy crumbs. Tuna was so fresh! I could finish 3 orders in 1 seating! Branch is not crowded although we had to walk around 100m from the parking
Great bubble tea, I got a fruit flavour with some jellys. Great glass... Good place to chill. Not many other tea places around. Good service
After an outreach for kids nearby, we stumbled here for some Japanese and Korean fix. It got cute and sweet interiors, suitable as well for some work or studying time.
We were three and we got our own choices. I am big fan of Bibimbap, and I enjoyed their version of a Korean meal. It was tasty with a hint of spice, and piping hot, thanks to its steel bowl.
I did find their Salisbury over done, almost burned. It’s also pricey for Php 300++ for a one third sized patty. My other friend, on the other hand, seemed to have found his Sausage Curry appetizing, as he finished his plate quite fast.
I also got a soothing and refreshing Taro Milk Tea with some really chewy tapioca and mango pudding. This was an awesome dessert and a drink treat in one go.
Never disappoints. One of my favorite Japanese-hearty-meals in BGC. My favorite is Chasubimbop and Chicken Pepper Steak with Kimchi Rice (you can request it to be mildly spicy) with Royal Milk Tea topped with JCC.
Milk teas here are great. Chocolate Japanese Cheesecake Cream is a must-try. The cakes are surprisingly amazing -- get the Roasted Cocoa Mousse.
The baked rice and makis are delicious. I don't think I've had anything here that I didn't like.
In photo are the Firecracker roll and the Salmon one.
Sizzling Pepper Chicken with Kimchi Rice is really good. Matched with California Maki. Really mouth-watering. 🤤 The price is good for a semi-fine dine but not for every day meal 😝

Tokyo Bubble Tea is known for its variety of milk teas, but it also has meals for hungry guests to enjoy. While I previously ordered from their breakfast menu, I decided to choose from their dinner menu this time. My meal included the following:
Royal Milk Tea with Egg Pudding and Bubbles (Medium P125; Large P135)
A sweet, light, and creamy drink. The tapioca bubbles are chewy and sweet, while the egg pudding is soft and creamy. An excellent combination.
Hamburg Melt Omurice (P345)
A 1/3-pound beef hamburg steak topped with melted mozzarella cheese and caramelized onions and served with tomato sauce, an omelette, and fried rice. A rich, savory, and filling meal. The sweet and sour tomato sauce complements the peppery steak, the mild, creamy cheese, and the sweet onions. The rice is also well done, and its tomato flavor also works well with the creamy omelette.
Unicorn milk tea here and I this is the taro. I like the cheese froth they added.
We used to visit his place a lot to bring home their tiramisu. But they’ve changed the recipe, especially the original crust which we liked.
Another go to Japanese resto for me near work. Lol. They are open even after 12am which is a plus point, for me. I usually buy their tonkatsu as they have huge servings which is good for its price. I am not a fan of their California Maki though, as it's not very sticky, I mean it breaks easily when dipped into the shoyou (soysauce).
Their bubble milk tea is the star of the show. I like my milk tea no too sweet and soft pearls. Their kimchi rice with chicken is super yummy and filling.
Their prices are a bit expensive though. But yeah,i still love eating here. Especially for breakfast.
Funny that I went here first not because of their teas but for their cakes. The tree log inspired cake they have was the coolest one, also their mango moose cake. Their breakfast meal are great too. Big servings I should say.
I have so much love for japanese food and unicorn so when I saw their ad on facebook, I immediately ask my parents if we can go there. As we went there, we tried jcc taro, taro unicorn milkshake, apple glazed porkchop and chasu ramen. It's quiet pricey yes! but it's worth it. It's my first time there but I'll definitely comeback to try other menu! The meat they serve is quiet juicy and tender! I love their service and place because the staff were accommodating and the place were clean and organized. I super love their chasu ramen!! 😍 I'm a person who loves dessert, unicorn milkshake is definitely worth to try! It satisfied my craving!
Good ambience, big food serving, delicious food. Quite pricey for budget seekers but worth the price. Placed in front of Starbucks, although they also have their own milktea's.
Interestingly, I haven't tried their bubble teas yet ;) But it's not why I go back to this place anyway. Probably unknown to most, they serve great food too. I usually get maki and sashimi, but for this round it's takoyaki, salmon sashimi, and miso soup (perfect for the rainy weather). Service is good, and the price is reasonable.
Joined the bandwagon and tried the Sakura Unicorn Milkshake of Tokyo Bubble Tea to see if it's worth the hype (and the calories!)! They offer two flavors - Strawberry and Taro. I went for the Taro flavor because I love anything Taro!. Tokyo Bubble Tea x foodfanaticph = Yay!. Sakura Unicorn Milkshake, Taro: Medium for 155Php | Large for 165Php
This unicorn addiction of mine knows no bounds! 😍🦄 Unicorn? Milkshake? I got you, fam.
My officemate and I visited Tokyo Bubble Tea last night so we could try their newest offering, the Sakura Unicorn Milkshakes! It's available in strawberry and taro flavor. Medium is 155php and large would be 165php. We ordered large for both flavors.
It was served in a huge mug and it's super pretty and definitely IG-worthy! ❤️ Yes we know it looks good but does it taste good? Amazingly, yes! I'll admit to not having my hopes up but the milkshakes were delicious! My first indicator of a yummy milkshake would be the "feeling mo tumataba ka" with every sip. And that was exactly how I felt. Lol. 😂
Mine was the Taro Sakura Unicorn Milkshake, it consists of large and small black pearls, oh-so-good taro milkshake, a good dose of vanilla ice cream, wafer cone coated with white chocolate with candy sprinkle (this is supposedly the unicorn horn, adorbs!), and lastly the rainbow colored gooey syrup that tasted like cotton candy/bubblegum. O diba, tunog pa lang nakakataba na, bes! 😂 I surprisingly enjoyed it. Try it for yourself! 🦄
Ambiance 4/5 - I like to ambiance, very light but they need to change the lanterns. Obviously its dusty.
Food 3/5 - Love the taste of their makis but for the ramen nothing special.
Service 3/5 - Their not attentive to the customers and keeps on chatting with each other.
Had a great time dining with my family. Definitely worth it! Quality and presentation of food is over the top. 😊 Will definitely visit again!

This is one one of the food places I normally go to when I used to work nearby.
I am a fan of Japanese food. So, it's favorable that the location and price is semi-eater friendly. Hahahaa
I've tried Doria, Katsudon, Sushi, Milk teas and others. For me, I find it enjoyable to eat there. It's great that they also provide wifi access.
I'm not sure why but recently, they started exploring Korean dishes too.
P.S.: most photos posted were for taken by/ with my friends
The teriyaki chicken don I ordered was really good and delivered quickly. The chicken was not too sweet and the serving portions of the chicken and rice and vegetables were enough, for one person. The rice though was not sticky enough and the sauce caused the rice to separate from each other making it difficult to eat with chopsticks. Other than that, the staff were friendly.
The place is cute and stylish. The staff only approach you when order taking and giving out orders. We have to try calling a lot before we get noticed. The food is good.

I work across from this place so I dine here on a regular. When I'm craving a Takoyaki, a California Maki, or a Curry Tonkatsu, this is the place to be. I always get my Japanese food craving fixes from here. The place could us a renovation from when it first opened. The place just looks tired right now, compared to when it first opened.
I seriously wanna go back for this food! I forgot the name but it's a chicken rice bowl they have and you just made me fall in love with this! Although the service was not so quick and the choice of drink is very limited cos they only serve their own.
I like the cute and sweet ambiance of this place. Not too crowded. We went here looking for a place to chill and have dessert. They have variety of selection for hot or cold milk tea, ice cream frap and cakes. I had Royal Milk Tea with Egg Pudding and Bubbles, and Strawberry Shortcake. It was really good! Definitely a must try. :-)
Near Burgos Circle, Parking area near Bellagio.Favorites: Matcha, Japanese Cesar Salad, Gyudun and strawberry cake.
Service is good :)
Another breakfast place you should try in BGC.
Ambiance: Sooooo good & light. colors are uplifting.
Staffs: Very accommodating
Price: Quite expensive but worth every penny
Food: Good amount of serving. Refillable coffee is ze best!
Thumbs up! Hope business hours will start at 6am or 5am if possible. Haha. :)
Me and my officemate decided to try some of their dessert since it's just a few streets away from our office. We ordered Chocolate Ice Cream Frappe and Coffee Milk tea. We ordered 3 slices of cakes; Red Valvet, Sansrival and Chocolate ice cream cake if i'm not mistaken. The frappe and milk tea taste really good. Red valvet and sansrival are okay, nothing special. The chocolate ice cream cake is a must try tho! Service is great and the location is a plus for me since it's near my workplace. We spent approximately 740.00.P.S.For some reason it's not allowing me to upload photos. :|
The staffs are so warm and accommodating. I like the atmosphere inside the coffee shop. It could be a good meeting place for friends and loved ones. I tried the royal milk tea, it's just too sweet for me but it's delicious.
That was one helluva work week. I decided to reward myself with a boatload of green tea.
We meet again, Tokyo Bubble Tea.
I got my usual drink, Japanese Matcha Milk Tea. A lil sugar won't hurt, i paired my dribk with a slice of Matcha Cappuccino Cake. A lil redundant, i know... Sue me! I like matcha.
The cake is mediocre. They went a lil cray-cray with cappuccino, the matcha drowned in the caffeine. The drink is oh so satisfying as always.
A perfect ending for a hellish work week.
It was the week of the World Street Food Congress and while I am excited to experience it, the long lanes were so disappointing. We decided to grab dinner somewhere else in Bonifacio Global City and we found Tokyo Bubble Tea. The restaurant looks bubbly from the outside so I am imagining Japanese anime character right now.
Good dessert place!!!!! Especially for an evening cravings! They've got loads of heavy meal as well on their menu as well. Ordered takoyaki and cake for an evening at work. 😂 Glad it's just a street away from office.
We stayed until past 11 and they didn't ask for any last orders so I'm not sure until what time they're open. Anyhoo, the place was cute and smelled nice. Plus the decals on the walls caught Ta Din's attention (she claims they're not leveled). Their tea (PHP 95 for a 16oz) was excellent! We tried the best sellers: passion fruit, lychee, and strawberry, while Yuann tried the chocolate milkshake (I think?) and they were all good. As for the food (PHP 185 to PHP 245), nothing special but not bad either (thank you chili powder that we so wanted to take home!).
One of my most favorite place in BGC! I love their Chicken Doria 💖
Last night we came here about 11pm and we ordered Takoyaki, Gyoza and Fireball Roll. I didn't think that I would love their Takoyaki! New faaaave! 😍😍 Will come back again for the Takoyaki.
For the drink, I ordered their Matcha JCC. I'm a big fan of Matcha and i'd say their Matcha JCC is a-okay. 👍

After a satisfying lunch at Smoper Chicken and still part of my birthday celebration, it's time for dessert. We headed to Burgos Circle to checkout Sweet Bella, which is a place for cakes and pastries. Seeing their products are a bit a pricey (though they look really good!) and knowing in myself that I am craving for something else -- something fruity and cold like frozen yogurt or ice cream, we roamed around Burgos Circle to fulfill that craving. Unfortunately, we were not able to find a fro-yo place, or maybe we're just not that patient enough to find that place, especially that I didn't want to walk that much because I was wearing heels. Before my hopes were gone, I remember Bubble Tea! I went here once and really enjoyed their wide selection of Japanese food, teas, and smoothies! I've tried their Chi-zu Maki (breaded chicken roll, stuffed with melted cheese filling, 135Php) before and it was great! -- served as 8 pieces with salad and dip! Yum!
We were supposed to check out the World Street Food Congress in BGC but when We saw the long waiting lines, We decided to grab dinner somewhere else. While strolling BGC and making our way to Burgos Circle we found Tokyo Bubble Tea.
What we had their Gyu Don, Tonkatsu Curry and their Mango Brazo. The Gyu Don was an amazing bowl, it was well seasoned and really masarap without reservations. The Tonkatsu Curry was my less favorite because I think the curry was not that okay. It lacks that curry kick into it. The Mango Brazo is really really good and it's a must try.
My personal rating for the restaurant:
Food: 3.0
Service: 3.5
Place:3.5
Happy Eating,
Foodie Day Out
One of my favorites around Burgos Circle! Great food and great ambiance. The staff are courteous and food preparation is quick (even on Friday nights). They're open until 4am, and re-opens at 7am, perfect for those on night-shift or for those who suddenly craves for milk tea! Two-thumbs up indeed. Either you're looking for a quick to-go milk tea drink or a delicious Japanese dinner or lunch around the area, this is recommended. It may be a bit pricey, but overall it's worth it. And yes, again, it's in Burgos Circle. It's actually cheaper than most of the restaurants around. #TOKYO #BUBBLE
It's been years since the last time I ate here. This is one of our to go places back in college and so many things have changed in their menu. There's Tokyo bubble tea before the milk tea craze happened in Manila. We tried the Tokyo tower and it was awesomely huge! I love the sushi and the kani salad that goes with it. So yummy! It has a mango, crabstick and katsu in it and kani salad and a bit of salmon on top.
The cheapest place to eat in this area considering it just a few meters away from Burgos Circle, Crowds are from the BPO mostly at night and early morning. Try their Salmon roll the one with mangoes and the other one which I forgot the name. It's decent, generous in serving and fast. Just what most of their customer wanted. Be picky with the cakes coz sometimes stores too long from the chiller. This is not the authentic kind of resto so just lower your expectarions
We wanted to have a quick dinner, something different-- so ended up here at Tokyo Bubble Tea, The Fort Residences. The place was quiet, we went there at around 9pm. Only a couple of people were inside. The staff greeted us immediately, seated us on our table and handed us the menu. I was impressed because they really have a variety of menu, from milkteas to milkshakes, pastas, burgers, steaks, and maki rolls. They have a lot. We ordered Yukiniku cheese rolls, apple glazed grilled porkchop, and tofu steak. I decided to have almond milkshake for my drink. The tofu steak was very delicious, it's the first time I was able to eat that kind of dish. The maki rolls were my fave!! I love the taste of it, tho at first I was a little bit disappointed because it was too soft that it breaks into pieces when I pick it up using the chopsticks. The porkchop tasted good, although it has nothing special on it. It was not that tender for me as well. The almond milkshake was sort of a milktea, not the type I was expecting, but it wasn't bad. Overall the dining experience was very good. Courteous staff, and nice ambiance.
I had the wild mushroom salad, which was light and tasty and was surprisingly filling. I also ordered the spicy seafood pasta which was delicious. There was a good mix of seafood.. clam, mussel, squid and chunks of tuna and salmon and toppings were so generous i was eating seafood with every bite. The pasta was creamy with the right level of spiciness. Love coming here for a quick meal.
I'm actually wondering why there are very few people eating in this restaurant. Maybe people think it's just a milk tea outlet. But guys, it's not. It's actually a Japanese restaurant. Good food, even better milk tea. Thumbs up for this restaurant
We are on break and had 1 hour to spare so we headed down this place as it was just near our office. At first, i thought it's just a milk tea place but missed to see the & restaurant after its name. So, i ordered a Beef Gyudon and so is my officemates. But for her, an extra Tofu dish while my other colleague ordered a Ramen and Gyoza. Looks very inviting really. And it taste good too. I ordered an additional milk tea and it was so-so. :)
At one point, we have been to a Japanese restaurant. I first fell in love with their cuisine when I was about 14 years old. I have grown to check the best tasting Japanese dishes in Manila. One day, will have an awesome time in Tokyo!
My kids and myself were in BGC after church and all hungry. For a lot of reasons, you have to try these in Tokyo Bubble Tea...
Inside the resto, so cozy and perfect for an afternoon tea but you have to park along Rizal Dr ^ which is about 5-7 establishments away. Not too bad anyway!
We had Chicken Karaage Fingers, Ebi Tempura, Chashu Pork Miso Ramen, Beef Gyudon and Rice ~
I like their Tempura Sauce; for once, I didn't ask for fresh ginger radish, they serve enough, of course if you want more, just ask. The batter wasn't greasy and really crispy!
We're all partial to fried rice with chicken fingers and the like... ... The kids were happy with the Karaage, so so for me. It was so tender, but somewhat bland. Good thing, fries is very nice!
All thumbs up for the beef and ramen!!!
This is one of the best rice bowls we have tried. Extra saucy, tasty and yummy! The beef serving is just right with the rice. So soft as if you're munching on bacon slices. Anything with egg is always better too hence my son smiled from ear to ear. So good for the price.
... and this is mine!
The kids started to eat and I've probably waited for more than 15 minutes but yes this Chashu Pork Miso Ramen is worth waiting for!
Well I don't eat "EVERY" THING but the ingredients they had on the bowl are my usual thing. So hearty, big, the deep rich broth with my curly delicious noodles - MMMMMMMM; will definitely go back for more! Next time, would probably add spices...
Coming back for your teas, coffee and sweets, real soon!
This isn't my first visit to Tokyo Bubble Tea. I remember visiting once and ordering the Spicy Tuna Sushi + Taro Bubble Tea and enjoying it immensely.
I was excited to be back here for the 2nd time (I was in the Bacolod Branch) but to my disappointment, things were not the same. It seems that the Spicy Tuna Sushi was completely different than what I remembered. Though their prices are very budget friendly, and their ingredients fresh, something didn't taste quite right. The food was a little bland.
It needs improvement but it isn't something that can't be fixed. Just ask for salt / togarashi and put it all over your food and you should be fine!
I ordered the spicy tuna (of course) and a seafood baked rice which was a generous serving but was a little bland. I don't know for sure but maybe I'd probably still go back for the bubble tea.
I've always loved it here. Their brazo mango and shakes are superb! This is my 2nd time to dine here- with rice not just only my fave deserts so I decided to upload my review. Surprisingly, they have a lot of menus, from Japanese to their adopted Filipino servings. My BBQ ribs is soo delicious, and I can give it also a 4 for value for money. The tiramisu is also a must try, but my bf said the sansrival is an epic fail for him.
First time here! We went for breakfast and initially we thought it was just a tea place, turns out they have really good food as well. You have to try their bibimbap 👌🏻 The place itself is quite nice as well.
I have always been a fan of Tokyo Bubble Tea, ever since they first opened at SM Megamall. I am happy we have one so close to me in BGC. I always go for their Strawberry Milk Tea, either hot or cold. If you don't really have much of a sweet tooth, this might be a little too sweet for you, though you could adjust the sweetness and even choose to make it with Stevia. Aside from the milk tea, one tasty treasure I have found from their menu is their Truffled Mushroom Soup. I am a big fan of anything that has mushroom and truffles! I have been careful to order anything that says "truffles" since based on my previous experience, its presence in a dish is likely a hit or miss. But TBT's soup has that distinct truffle savoriness. This soup is, hands down, the best. Portion is small though, so if you need something to fill you up, you would need more than this soup. It could also run a little pricey considering the portion, but if you don't mind spending extra for quality, go for it.
Since this place hails from Japan, the interiors are expectedly cute. Service could be a bit faster.

Situated near Burgos Circle in BGC is this cute little place where you can meet up with friends and family and enjoy good food as well. Besides the food, one of the things I love about Tokyo Bubble Tea is it's operating hours of 7AM-4AM. I work near the area from 10PM-7AM and it's very hard for most of us to look for a place to have lunch or breakfast at (except the usual fast food chains, which I am trying to avoid). It also has a really girly interior and comfy seats. :)
TBT also has a wide range of food choices and desserts. We tried the Chashu Pork Ramen and the Bulgogi Nachos the other day. The Chashu was big in size, really tender and flavorful. It's perfect for a rainy morning after work. The Bulgogi Nachos was a modern version of your usual Nachos with beef, cheese, onions and etc. It has ground Bulgogi beef, green pepper, sesame seeds and their special sauce. One platter is good for two persons.
And lastly, we tried their Strawberry Milk Tea. It's suuuper yummy, with teeny tiny Strawberry bits and tiny "bubbles" or pearls. We had 2 large tumblers of this and we couldn't get enough.
I'll definitely be back soon... :)
I love Tokyo Bubble Tea’s playful ambiance. The yellow lights and high ceiling give the restaurant a homey vibe. I also like this milk tea place because of their extensive choices for both food and milk teas. This is the type of place I’d go if I want to have a casual dinner with friends. Another thing I like is that their dishes are relatively cheap compared to the other restaurants in Taguig area. :)
I make sure we visit this place whenever we are in back in the Philippines. Now there is nothing extraordinarily special about the food but they do taste good and they make you crave for it. Definitely a must visit if you are in the area.
Tokyo Bubble Tea is a very reliable place to go to when you are in need of a decent Japanese-inspired meal. I love the fast and efficient service rendered in every visit.
