Raging Bull could slide easily into any slot in New York City. The decor was chic, top class, Knowledgeable staff, exquisite wine selection and service first class. The steaks match (better) any of my steak places in New York City if not better. It's just a fun place to dine. It is an oasis in Makati. See you soon, Raging Bull. Dennis Tedder
Raging bull will be one of my favorite steak place in the metro. It is served with different dipping sauce, so you can go to whatever your palette wants. Also, I super duper love the oysters too! đ (Not in the photo)
I am stuck at home but I guess we all are. Well I ordered the Hamburger and I wasn't sure how it would be seasoned or if I would like how it was prepared. WELL Probably the BEST hamburger I've had in the Philippines (I've been here 7 years) and I will be back ordering again this weekend. The personalized note they sent with my delivery saying thank you for ordering. Well that says it all about their care. The food itself was HOT and FRESH - Simply DELICIOUS! Raging Bull you have a customer for life.
One of the best steakhouses in Manila! The steak was thick and very juice. The price was worth it cause you get what you pay for. I also liked how they would ask you to choose a knife to use from their collection. The only thing that I didn't like about this place is their Potato Gratin because it was too salty.
So, I have decided to treat myself after a long weekend here. I heard from my friend that they got great burgers here however, I wanted to splurge a little more and grab a slab of steak after my great experience at Sage in Makati Shangrila. And I there was never a single hint of regret when I saw the steak I got. I asked my server for their recommendation and I was literally surprised with how it came out.
I would definitely come back and have some lobster.
Had darling downs wagyu queensland steak sooo good! Perfect steak and good service
A nice pick for our Valentine's date I must say. The service is A+. Every course on the picked menu for Feb 14 is a delight to the senses.
I especially liked the steak. Overall, it was a great experience.
Definitely worth it. We ordered Darling Downs Wagyu and Mushroom Risotto.
I like the idea of choosing your own weapon aka knife. Plus, service was really great. They were very attentive and even managed to provide drinks which were not listed on the menu.
The servers are very attentive and also give good recommendations.
The foods (in the pictures) are very presentable, also taste wonderful.
Overall awesome experience and one that started 2020 right for us! Honestly, everything was just perfectly cooked to a medium, the smokey taste of the steak was exquisite and the different sauces and salts didn't need to be used all that often because of how juicy and tasty the steak was on it's own. To us, that was the true measure of how excellent the steak was. It didn't need the sauces or other condiments to make it taste good.
The two portions for two people was already quite feast, then add on the caesar salad, potato au gratin side and 3 types of mushrooms made it an even more sumptuous feast!
But legitimately aside from the food and drinks, the service of the ever so polite and friendly crew ensured that people would want to keep coming back. The crew assigned to us was Alyssa and she very coolly explained to us which "weapon of choice" we could use to cut our steaks. Her presentation of how everything would work together was just impressive. To those who might get her next, enjoy!
Overall, I would absolutely keep going back and would take other family and friends for this sumptuous experience. đ
Love the ambiance, staff and my rib eye steak! You get to choose your knife (Choose your weapon, as our server said) which is quite an experience.
Definitely a good place for steak and anniversaries â€
Best steak house in Manila. Flavorful and high quality meat. It has a very nice and cozy ambience. Our server was Sunshine and she was very pleasant to us and made sure our dinner date was perfect.
The Christmas season is a celebration of the birth of Christ. In the Philippines, it also means a very, very extended celebration of family, friends, relationships, year-end achievements and any other reason we can think of. After all, we are considered to be the place which has the longest Christmas festivities.
Josper Grilled 1824 Tenderloin Grass Fed Queensland Steak...
Synonymous to perfectly grilled , medium rare steaks. Prepare to sigh in rapture at every mouthful....
Wanted to try this place for so long, so happy we get to try it! Had an amazing dinner starting off with their hot appetizers - spicy calamari, and truffle fries. The truffle fries were to die for! Definitely a must-try. As for our main course, as per our server's recommendation, we tried the Darling Downs Wagyu MS 5+ grass-raised, grass-finished, Queensland, 350g. For two people, servings were already incredibly huge, especially if you pair it with their sides. We tried their dirty rice - which was just okay in my opinion. Nonetheless, we appreciate the tableside sauces with the steak - especially the mustard variants. The steak was really soft and fork-tender. My only complaint was that the sauces were so good, that when you eat just the steak alone, you get to compare. It was too peppery to my liking. Nonetheless, overall, it's a good experience. The ambiance is really great for romantic dates.
We decided to come here with my significant other to experience this quintessential steakhouse for dinner. Having heard about Raging bullâs and wanting to try, I was looking forward to this meal. We were greeted by our server, Edna, who entertained us all throughout.
We ordered fresh oysters to start our dining experience. We had the Darling Downs Wagyu cooked in medium and grilled lamb chop colorado for our
main entree. Beef was melt in your mouth tender served with a side of potato gratin which I find it smooth and rich, tasty. We tried their truffled mushroom sauce and BĂ©rnaise. We also had cocktails, I got the thyme on mule and for my SO, the bonifacio penicillin.
And for dessert we got the mango sorbet with cotton candy, I forgot the name of it, a nicely presented dessert. Not overly sweet dessert. And a slice of cheesecake from them since btw, we were celebrating our birthdays.
What a memorable meal! The food was delicious in a nice atmosphere. Our server, Edna, was great. She answered our questions and was great throughout our meal.
I had a fantastic dinner here. Their steaks were very tasty but what really set them apart is the warm service. No one is snooty and everyone is treated like a friend.
From the menu to their service, everything is đŻ
Great steak for a good value too! The rest of the food in their menu is really good as well. Quality of the food is consistent every time!!!
Best steakhouse in Metro Manila
I've been there twice with my partner and we had a lovely dinner each time. Everything is superb, the food, the ambiance, the service. Eating a steak there is a whole experience, choosing your knife, testing different types of salts & mustards, i've never seen this in any steakhouse I've been, which makes it for me a very special place.
The steaks are quite expensive but in Manila steaks are always more expensive than in Europe or US, so their pricing is only matching the "city rates".
Highly recommended!
The ambiance is really intimate, the service is outstanding and the food is exceptional. I liked it when you get to choose your WEAPON for you to cut your steak.
Here is the breakdown of my orders with their individual rating and feedback.
Appetizer
Caramelized Onion Soup (5/5)
- I only have one word for this... FLAVORFUL!
Main
Mushroom Risotto (3.5/5)
- I like savory dishes and this one was not my cup of tea. But i am giving it a fair score since the presentation was cute.
Darling Downs Rib-Eye (100,000/5)
- Though I am not a huge fan of steaks, i did not expect that i finished the whole meal because of how tender and tasty it was. I had medium rare and it was just perfect
I skipped dessert because i was already full but i really had a sumptuous dinner experience here and will be coming back again very soon.
Also, this restaurant is busy so make sure to book a table.
Affordability level: 5/10
Celebrated our anniversary dinner here the other night. I didnât make a booking since it was a week night and thought that there be a table for 2 but boy was i wrong. The place was packed when we got there at 7pm. The reception was kind enough to give us a table for a non-show after waiting for a couple of minutes.
The food is as great as what people say. The price may be a bit high but youâre paying for value and its not outrageous enough to celebrate a very important occassion with your loved ones.
The service though is overrated based on what i experienced. It was good but not great. Hey, servers are also human and can be forgetful too. But service has to be great from start to finish. When we left, no one even bothered to look at us. The 2 people in the reception were busy looking at their phones. I took a photo but Zomato censors those types so I cant post it here.
Overall, this place is highly recommended. For mere mortals like me, i can only afford to dine here again if someone treats. But Iâm looking forward to the next milestone to have an excuse to splurge again.
This place is simply outstanding. Ok, letâs get it on the table - it is expensive....BUT the service is great and the food top shelf. Deep wine list and steaks cooked to perfection.
Everything about this place is just perfect. Food is exeptionally delicious. Staff were attentive and nice.
We ordered their caesar salad. It was the best one weâve had by far.
Then we had ribeye steak and boston lobster. It was just amazing! They even let us choose our âweaponâ (steak knife). So cute!âșïž The steak melts in your mouth so there was actually no need to use them knivesđ
âđ» hahaha! The lobster was grilled to perfection. We also tried the dirty bacon rice and the potato gratin. Everything was yummy! #yummytomytummy
They also have a selection of cocktails and wine to pair with your steak.
Overall, itâs a perfect score for me. đđđ
My 3rd time at Raging Bull. The first two times not so good maybe cuz they were business lunches and I didnât get to choose the food. The 3rd timeâs the charm as I finally got to order what I wanted. Got a seafood chowder (3/5 in taste, weirdly SUPER lemony, tangy and acidic), crabcake (4/5 taste but lots of crab meat), darling downs rib eye (5/5 taste but 3.5/5 for toughness as it was not as tender as Iâd expected) and several sides which were yum. Service was impeccable!
Now this is what I call a Steakhouse! Loved every bite from appetizer down to my very unique sorbet dessert! A must go to place whenever youâre in BGC and craving for meat, or trying to impress someone.
We were at Raging Bull during our last stay in Manila (April 2019). We had a Wagyu tomahawk; it was really excellent, cooked to perfection in a jasper heated with charcoal. We had the chance to visit the kitchen and meet Maurice, the guy who cooked our meat. We loved it! Service was great and entertaining; our waiter (Manu) has been competent and friendly contributing to our great experience. Idem for Mico, the manager. Always enquiring about our satisfaction and making sure everything ran smoothly. We then had a few cocktails at the bar. Raffy, the mixologist, is an artist! All cocktails we tried were simply outstanding! I definitely recommend this place to all meat lovers and epicurians! Great products expertly prepared in a fantastic atmosphere! Thanks again to the team for this delicious moment, look forward to visiting again!
Hands down one of the best restaurant Iâve tried!
Everything was perfect! The service, the food, the ambience- the total experience.
Very happy customer. I tried their ceasar salad, their steak and cheesecake.
Its not bad to spoil yourself once in awhile đ
Now is the best steak room in the country! I always like my steak medium rare (btw thatâs how steaks must be cooked, besides a very few exceptions depending on the cut) and they have never screwed it up ever, in all the 1000 times Iâve been here. I just wish tho they would add a bit more exciting sides or appetisers on the menu. However, meat alone - excellent. But you have to read about steaks because if you choose a cut or a brand which might not be your taste, it can totally affect your whole experience here. I love steaks and I have thoroughly studied them. Service used to be better I remember. Busy restaurant so reservation is a must!!!
Service is 5/5. Staff are warm, friendly, attentive without being intrusive, and are knowledgable about the menu. Food is also a 5/5. We had the wagyu striploin and kurobota pork for the mains. I highly recommend both! The porkchop portion is huge! The chop was tender, soft and well-seasoned. It almost tasted like beef because it was such a juicy, hefty piece. Wagyu is great as well! Reminiscent of the excellent steak at Mamou. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare. They also offer to serve the steak with your choice of sauce (we had the truffle mushroom and wine sauce) but itâs also very good on its own. The double fried fries make for an excellent side, as well as the truffle mashed potato. I wasnât too impressed with the dirty rice, as it just tasted like garlic rice. Had the malted ice cream for dessert, and it was almost as good as Carmenâs Best. Overall we had a superb dining experience.
I come to the Shangri-La at the fort since it opened, and have a really nice lunch at Raging Bull once a month, and the occasional drink. The staff are wonderful and always remember me. Tonite for dinner I had the ribeye, which was nice and tender, my partner had the new kobe sirloin which was absolutely delicious. Our server was very helpful with selections! Pricey? Of course! But well worth it.
Great place for a romantic date! Food is superb and everything is not expensive. Their service is amazing. All staff were friendly and attentive.
Always a great experience at this restaurant. My husband and I celebrate our date nights here and this restaurant has been consistent all throughout. We always get fresh oysters, steak and some appetizers. The wagyu burger is a must try! They also have awesome servers - Janine and Shine to name a few. Will definitely go back.
Raging Bull Chophouse certainly lived up to my expectations in terms of both the food and the service. This restaurantâs ambiance managed to be comfortable yet elegant, without ever feeling like your regular stuffy old steakhouse. A big part of this is the due to their service at the restaurant. Their waitstaff is always friendly and approachable, and ready to answer your questions about their menu as well as their wine list. I would like to commend our server, Manu, who gave us outstanding service when we dined here last month. First class service all around.
We ordered a 350g dry aged steak with truffle mashed potato and their salmon dish. They served their mains on one large plate which was great for sharing for the two of us. They cooked our steak perfectly medium rare and seasoned it perfectly as well. The steak comes with a variety of salts, mustards and sauces that you can try, although to be honest the flavor of the steak that we tried didnât need anything else as it was already perfect. Their salmon, although tasty enough and not dry at all, was a little too well-done for my liking. I prefer my salmon cooked medium rare to medium. I would suggest that they also ask their customers their doneness preference for this dish. We received a free dessert during the time we dined here during the holiday season, but we did order another dessert. The dessert that we ordered was the pavlova/passion fruit sorbet topped with cotton candy. The tartness of the sorbet perfectly complemented the sweetness of the pavlova and the cotton candy. The dessert we received for free was the chocolate peanut butter ice cream bar with caramel candy scattered on the plate. This was probably my favorite dessert of the two because of the great combination of the chocolate, peanut butter and caramel flavors all around.
We had such a great time that night that we actually returned for my birthday just 2 days ago. Again, we received excellent service and excellent food even though we had 2 large tables for a party of 15. Raging Bull Chophouse is probably my favorite steak house in Manila right now. We will definitely be back and we hope they keep up the great work.
Ordered the ff: Darling Downs (medium), Potato Gratin and Mashed Potatoes for sides (yes we love potatoes and both were uniquely great), and Mushroom Risotto. Everything was just so flavorful and well presented.
For drinks we also had the Old Fashioned and Benjamin Franklinâs Julep, which were not just photogenic but also interesting. Shoutout to James for the good service and answering all our makulit questions!
Me to my boyfriend: This is far by the best steak Iâve ever had in my life.
Iâm not the kind of person who is really into steaks since I think everything tastes the same and only the tenderness differs. It was absolutely a melt in your mouth experience. We got the mushroom risotto as well since Iâm a fan of truffle (truffle > steak for me any day, but this is an equal match) and side of fries. Our server was very attentive as well, the moment I raise my hand up, heâs already beside me in just 3 seconds haha! Would definitely come back and try the other steaks as well!
A delayed review but we went here as a family and had the best time.
The ambiance is really wonderful and their staff is definitely accommodating. The selection of knives was really an interesting touch and helped you buy into the theme even more.Â
We ordered their crab cakes and the chophouse salad for starters. Both were good, but I particularly enjoyed the crab cakes.
We then had the Grain-fed table smoked tenderloin which was absolutely delicious and the whirl of smoke from the dish just added to its presentation value. The Wagyu ribeye was delicious and you could really taste the quality of the beef. What I enjoyed the most, though, was the dry-aged striploin with its distinct flavors.Â
If you're into the sides, the truffle mashed potatoes were a hit, and we loved the lobster bisque as well.Â
Didn't get to try the bar but I've heard their selection is what they're known for.Â
Definitely on the pricier side when it comes to dining, but if you're looking to splurge, Raging Bull is a solid option.
Food was really great!!! Tomahawk was awesome!!! Food was pricey but itâs given since it was located inside Shangri-La at Fort. The meat was juicy and melts in my mouth!!!
Fine dining at its finest. Ambiance is great albeit the very low lighting, not good for taking pictures if you're celebrating. Table setting, choices of cutlery and even the chance to choose your own knife makes for a well curated experience. The choices of steak is great as well as the sauces and salts/spices available. Good list of wine though that I haven't personally tried but my family got a bottle at least. Good options for dessert. I had the wagyu MS3 cooked medium well cos I am sharing with my kiddo, and yes, the little one liked it. Had a side of dirty rice which could be a meal in itself. We had the chocolate and peanut bar sundae bar and the cheesecake for dessert (just check their full listed dessert names in the menu) and I was so happy to see fresh berries and caramel bars that didn't come from a can or a packet. They gave us a complimentary Candy Floss Pavlova as someone is celebrating at our table which we really appreciated. It's certainly expensive for a regular Juan but if you're indulging then this is the place to go.
The Good The Bad And The Hungry
+5
That place is top notch, interior is unique, perfect lighting that give you the just the right balance between having a drink in a bar and enjoying your food with your eyes.
How is the steaks you ask?
Probably the best you will ever have in Manila.
Two thumbs up!! No superlatives can be said about how amazing their meats are. I can only think of a handful of steakhouses that can compare. Keep up the good work guys you do such a good job in looking after customers.
Our waiter was awesome he gets a 5 no doubt. Gerald I believe that is his name. He did a superb job the choosing of your weapon is a great touch. The steak was okay not the greatest. To me it was way to salty. But that could just be me. The Foie Gras was delish and sides could have been better especially the mash potato and creamy spinach. Dessert wasnt to my expectations that Candy Floss thing wasn't good to me cotton candy and meringue I'll pass. The handmade ice cream let's just say store bought would have been better. But the waiter brought a dessert that we didn't order he wanted us to try it. He said it was on him wasn't expecting that at all. That was good the peanut butter ice cream log with dulce de Leche was good. Maybe I should have went with my gut and got the orange creme brulee but the orange threw me off. Would I go back here again yes and no. I would come back and try the burger, porkchop, and lamb. But not the steak.
The place is very nice and we all had a good time here! It's my boss personal favorite for their steaks. Since I no longer eat pork, I chose the Grilled Atlantic Salmon Fillet which was very good. Also I encourage you to try their Craft beers from Crazy Carabao - The best!
We ordered Ribeye Downs (medium) with Half Boston Lobster, Caesar Salad with Tiger Shrimp, and Truffle Mashed Potatoes. The salad was good though it can use some more dressing. The crispy bacon was a bit saltier. The steak was perfectly cooked and the mushroom sauce with a varied selection of salts was a good addition. What disappoints is the lobster because it was rubbery though the sauce tasted good. It wasn't worth the additional charge. A better option was to upgrade the steak instead. The mashed potatoes was not grainy at all. One of the best highlights was the free dessert which was a cheesecake. It was so light and melts in your mouth. The sweetness was just right and the berries were a good contrast. Our server, Gerard, was very accommodating and always attentive to our needs.
Ideal for power lunch. Make sure to order from the lunch menu to get best value. Service is top notch and food is good. Beef cheek was tender while the fried calamari was fresh and cooked right. Raging Bull will always be my restaurant of choice for lunch when Iâm in the area.
My fiancĂ©âs favorite steak place!! đ I specifically love the Lobster Bisque Soup đ yummyyyyy!!! But I made a mistake pairing it with a red wine, always make sure to take it with the white. đđ»
Excellent dining experience
The ambience (lighting, furniture, decor and music) was very soothing. The service was great. The food was excellent. Upon finding out that my wife and I were having our anniversary dinner there, the dessert was complimentary. What more could one ask for? Raging bull chophouse really made our anniversary dinner special and we can't wait to visit again.
Came here for our Anniversary. We ordered the mushroom risotto, truffle mashed potatoes and darling downs wagyu ms5. We were served hot bread and butter after we placed in our orders. The mushroom risotto was good, the oyster mushrooms were huge and very tasty. Complimented our meal very well. Truffle mashed potatoes were also okay, wish i was able to taste the truffle more though. The star of the show was the darling downs wagyu ribye though. So tender, juicy and bursting with flavor. Id put some tiny bit of salt and mustard but without the sauce and condiments their steaks really are so good. It melts in your mouth. Service crew was very attentive and serving time was really fast.
Ambience was also really romatic. The free cheesecake they gave us for our anniversary was a sweet touch too.
Would definitely come back!
Ambience 4.5/5
Service 4.5/5
Food 4.5/5
Whenever iâm with a friend who has not visited Manila for quite a long time, i often take them here. The bar is a good place to chat and catch up. The bartenders are accommodating. I love their Mama Mia drink and Manhattan đ» perfect place to chill and unwind.
Ambiance: Classy but cozy interiors
Food: I ordered a Tajima Wagyu steak and itâs a little on the salty side but personally I appreciate the flavour. It comes with a choice of sauce (I got peppercorn) but no sides.
Tip: The double fried fries are lack lustre and are not recommended for their 200+ price tag
Service: (EDITED) I came back today and the service was excellent. There was staff constantly checking up on us and asking about the meals. Raging Bull definitely improved on this front.
(Original: At the beginning of the meal servers were very attentive and even brought stools for our bags, but towards the end of the meal it took longer to call a waiter.)
Wait time: It takes a while for the food to come so you might want to order appetisers.
Overall: Would come back here again but am hoping for consistent service
I tried their Tomahawk steak, which came with different sauces but I usually prefer my steak eaten alone. It was really good, but it wasnât one of the very best, which was what I expected from all the hype. I guess i set my expectations too high... The Clam Seafood Chowder was a bad way to start the experience, but the Crab cakes were able to make up for it easily. The Crab cakes were filling and really tasty. From the 3 desserts we chose, I preferred the New York Raspberry cheesecake since the Candy Floss Pavlova was way to sweet.
A bit pricey and the parking should have been free for the total bill that I paid... but it's all worth it! The food (specially the steaks!), the service and the ambiance were all great!
We went here for post Mother's day celebration and birthday. Waiters are attentive to our baby's needs. They have plates and utensils for babies. We ordered Rib Eye/Tenderloin/Chicken and were able to taste all the sauces. I particularly like the red wine and mushroom truffle sauces. I also like their mashed potato. For a group of 5 adults, we spent 9k with SC discount This is a must try if you're looking for a new steakhouse.
They serve really good quality steak. Upon ordering, theyâll have you choose two sauce for your steak. But since I was having a hard time on deciding which one to try, the waiter gave us four different sauce. đ It was also fun when the waiter let us choose our own weapon (knife) to use. Itâs the first time I experienced this in a steak house. Overall, it was expensive but worth your money. The place is perfect for occasions. In fact, one of them approached us and asked us how was our food and if we are celebrating something that night, when we said yes, they gave us a surprise dessert (cheesecake). I love their pistachio creme brĂ»lĂ©e!!! And of course, their best selling cheesecake (the one we got for free)!! â€ïž
PS. When our bill arrived, we got two free lollipops. đ Thank you. Haha
Went on a late night run to Raging Bull. At this visit, their burger place wasnât open yet. The H wanted something a little fancier than food on the strip. I wish we came in earlier, its a great place to stay for longer.
We arrived around 945 and didn't realise they were closing soon, at 10:30 PM. It completely escaped our mind and I have to commend the restaurant for not making us feel like we had arrived too late or that we had to eat fast and leave soon. We only realised they were closing because we looked at our watch and asked, and that was after we placed our order. They never told us to hurry, didn't tell us they were closing soon, nor show any indication they were closing. There was more than a handful of people still there, I guess also one of the reasons we didnât feel it was that late. Left a little past 11 PM, with still a few diners inside. For this they deserve an extra star.
Hereâs what we had:
Darling Downs Rib-eye Wagyu MS5+ grass-raised, grain-finished, Queensland 350gÂ
3,550.00
Potato Gratin, GruyereÂ
235.00
Cyrus Noble Kentucky WhiskyÂ
400.00
Mamma MiaÂ
450.00Â
Plantation Original Dark Rum, Wild Turkey 81 bourbon, La Fee absinthe, Passionfruit seeds, Homemade pandan syrup, pine juice
Loved the steak. It was melt in your mouth delicious. Cooked perfectly. Seared with a thin crust, soft in the middle. I like the different flavoured salts they provided. It says itâs good for one, but me and the H were able to share it. We just really wanted something to go with our drink, ehem pulutan.
You are given your choice of knife. They bring out a box of knives to choose from. Ask about the knives because they have a lot to say about them, like who designed them and who made them. Go ahead and complicate your life. Donât forget that theyâre super sharp, because I almost did. If youâre like me who sometimes licks the side of the knife, my dumb and dumber self seriously almost did.
Whisky(s) for the dude, and a cocktail for me. Talk about bang for the buck, I laughed when I got a barrel of a iced alcohol. I didn't expect a pirate-y type of drink in here. They also mixed it well, with a good amount of alcohol.
Havent had the time to return, I wish I could.
Expensive but really amazing food. They also have a well stocked bar. Considering the price, in my opinion, a perfect place for special occasions. We ordered almost everything in the menu to be able to taste and find out our favorites. Obviously the steak is very good and cooked to perfection, in my case... medium to medium rare. Their shrimp is also very good. Perfect for surf and turf cravings. You can do without the chicken. Salmon is also incredibly well made. They just need to tweek their desserts section, but in this case you can always go somewhere else for the dessert. Ambiance is dark and a bit dingy good for dates and the set up allows more privacy. Go here for special occasions you wont regret it.
Me and Lois ate at the burger branch downstairs then went to the 3rd floor where they had their steak restaurant, but we just had dessert instead. We got the pistachio brûlée and it was really good, I enjoyed the mix of fruits that gave it a hint of freshness with every sweet spoonful. Very good. Would go back to try their steak and lobster.
first time i came here back in Dec 2017 my friends and I shared the 1824 ribeye, crab cake, wagyu burger, creamed spinach and truffle mashed potatoes. i love the crab cake! the wagyu burger was just okay, a little bit bland. the 1824 ribeye was big enough to share for 2, the steak itself was just okay, you just put sauce for it to taste better.
on my second visit last Monday, my friends and i shared the Darling Downs wagyu ribeye, grilled lamb chops and salmon. we got the same sides and crab cakes. crab cake still tasted as good as before as well as the sides. the salmon was not dry and had crispy skin but the flesh did not enough flavor. the wagyu is better than the 1824 ribeye than i had before however it didnt have enough marbling (maybe because it is just grade 6). the grilled lamb chops were also fine as it didnt have the usual after taste some lambs have.
overall the experience is okay, the servers are attentive and friendly . one comment is that the aircon is too cold thus the meat got cold easily (and no one likes cold meat). in terms of value for money, i think for the price we were paying we were expecting to be wowed by the taste and quality of the steak but it didnt. the steaks were cooked well but there was nothing that stands out and differentiates them from the other steakhouses. i also think they rely too much on the variety of sauces that they serve together with the steak.
I don't think I'll be able to appreciate any other steak after experiencing Raging Bull. Everything was extremely fantastic. The service was amazing!
We got the Tomahawk Wagyu (On the bone) which is just divine!
I have no words for their foie gras and duck leg terrine. The tiger prawn cocktail was also incomparable.
PS. You definitely have to try their Pistachio creme brĂ»lĂ©e â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
Lastly, make sure to have them share the story of the weapons you can choose from đ
We came here for valentines day burgers, and yes they were very tasty, along with the chunky fries. But, my goodness theres nothing that annoys me more than having to ask for something more than once, and having to repeat myself. It completely ruins the dining experience. It was only mayonnaise and I waited 20 minutes and had to ask two different people. Not good enough for this type of establishment. I will return for a drink at the bar but not for the food.
I think it was last year when I first visited this wonderful mouth watering restau in the Fort. Grabe heaven yong salmon , well diet kasi ako that time đ and Iâm with my patient and his family so dapat hindi ako matakaw đ haha.. well overall the ambiance and the experience was above average, the staffs were attentive to out needs well maybe bec madami din kami like 7 people i think. Some of us ordered the steak and grabe ang sarap daw I wasnt able to taste it but satisfied ako sa salmon grabe kung may 10 na score ill gonna put 10 haha. Kaya kahit last year pa to I really wanted to put a good review and thumbs up đđ» on this restau bar. Keep up the good work. âșïž
Let me quote my friend's statement after our amazing meal at Raging Bull: "Now I understand why they have rave reviews. Well they come with rave price as well". One of the best steak house in the metro-- worth every penny!***Food- 4.5 Ambiance- 5/ Value for Money- 4
Tried RBC for the first time and it was a great experience.
Ambiance: The room is dim with nice decor, like those fancy restaurants.
Food: We had their Caesar Salad and Creamy Mushroom Soup for our starters. Very tasty and fresh. For the main course we had Cape Steak (medium rare) and their Black Cod fillet. Melts in your mouth goodness!
Staff: Very accomodating and helpful! They assisted us very well and explained everything that we needed to know.
Overall, it is a 5/5. đđ»

Steaks: Wagyu MS 5 tenderloin (medium), Darling Downs ribeye (medium) were perfect. Meat was tender, tasty, serving was just right. Their steaks come with different kinds of sauces and for me, the best is the tomato hollandaise (honestly though, their steaks don't need the sauce)
Sidings: japanese pumpkin, fries, truffle mashed potato. We ordered too many sidings but they all tasted great.
Salad: Caesar salad with 63 deg egg, anchovies, bacon. Perfect starter, light and delicious.
Dessert: raging bull chocolate treat. Looks like your ordinary chocolate pinipig ice cream on a popsicle stick but it has a marshmallow surprise inside. Strawberries are a bit sour though.
Ambiance is 5/5
Service is 5/5
Wine selection is 5/5 countries are well represented
Ate here with friends last month. I also had my first time drinking wine here. The service was very nice as we all laughed about how hit we all got as we drank the wine. The steak and environment also felt very nice.
Skipped meals in prep for a nice 4 course meal of a dinner with the hubs celebrating his bday in advance. Worth the âfastingâ! We started with soups - lobster bisque and caramelised onion soup, it was ok. The best lobster bisque is still the one from Fireplace of the Old Hyatt hotel Manila now New World. For the best onion soup, itâs still TWG. So the soup portion of Raging Bull is 2nd from the best. Then the crab cakes as appetizer. Not a big fan of crabs to begin with since I have allergies from it, but the crab cakes were fresh, not âfishyâ tasting. This is the 2nd time I had a crab cake, and this one is really good. Canât remember what resto I had my 1st crab cake. Thankfully, my rashes did not show up tonight. We had tenderloin for our main course and the portion and the cost, itâs just right. The meat was tender and doneness perfect! The chef knew really what a medium vs. medium well. Lastly, the dessert. We had a courtesy New York cheesecake since itâs hubbyâs bday and we were regretting why we had to order desserts since the cheesecake was the best among the rest. Reminded us of our fave cheesecake from balducciâs when it was still open. The additional desserts we had were the raging bull trio ice cream and pistachio creme brĂ»lĂ©e, they were so so. We also capped the night off with a cafe latte which was creamy and right, just like from Larryâs bar. Anyway, Raging Bull chophouse and bar is a highly recommended fine dining restaurant. Will go back there for special occasions just like today.

This has become our default place for celebrations or whenever weâre craving for worth-the-money steaks.
Over the past year, I have tried two steaks from the tenderloin selection, two steaks from the rib-eye selection and one steak from the striploin selection on different visits. All were very good, but I would suggest selecting the Australian Wagyu ones. And no more than medium rare please!
The steaks can be shared, but the 350g steaks can be finished by one hungry person. We have not tried the other non-steak selections such as the lamb and lobster and will probably never will since the steaks are already pure bliss!
Worth mentioning that the bar serves a great selection of wines and cocktails. Kudos to Raging Bull Chophouse & Bar!
Ambience: Great, with all the dim lights and intimate setting.
Service: Great. The servers know what theyâre talking aboutâfrom wines to knives. (At least our server did :) )
Food: We had beetroot salad, 1824 something ribeye, grilled atlantic salmon, potato gratin, and pistachio creme brulee. Of course we expected that the ribeye would be the star of the night, but to our surprise, it was super dry and a bit tough even if we had it cooked medium well. Weâre sure it wasnt well done because it was still a bit red from the inside, but really, the taste (or the lack thereof) was not comparable to Mamou or House of Wagyu or Meloâs. The salad was fine. I liked the nuts. The salmon was good, nothing special. I always liked salmon anyway. Potato gratin had a huge serving as well as the creme brulee. The dessert didnt taste like pistachio, or there was just a hint of it. There was too much syrup on it.
We paid a little short from P8k (with wine).
If you want to impress someone especially your date, this place will NOT let you down, I assure you 100%! Raging Bull Chophouse is marvelous. The interiors are fit for the âAâ list of the best restaurants in the world. Service is five star, or even seven star, I must say - definitely the Shangri-la trademark. I love everything in this beautiful place. Very relaxing and cozy ambience, endless list of drinks, quality food, and excellent staff. As for the price, we spent a little more than P12,000 for 4 people. Yes it is pricey, but definitely worth every penny. I started with the lobster bisque, foie gras, and crab cake - all of which are perfectly prepared! My choice of entree was the chefâs recommendation tenderloin steak in medium. It was one of the best steaks Iâve had, and the presentation was very impressive. Thereâs even a lot of options for your choice of steak knife! Without a doubt I am definitely coming back to try the other food in the menu!
Ambiance:
The place is chill and classy, the area is properly lighted and the surrounding is clean. Not sure with the sounds though.
Food:
We ordered the Tomahawk Wagyu MS 5 (1100kg) good for 3. It was cooked according to our preference which was Medium. There we some parts of the meat that were just burnt and some part that it was just all Fat. Taste wise, it was tender and the juiciness was just right. Eating it with a pinch of salt (3 different kinds) just releases more flavor to it. We ordered some sides as well like the foie gras, truffle mashed potato, and the asparagus; all went well with our tasty steak.
Service:
The service is the reason why I rated this restaurant a 3.5. The service was just bad. The waitress and waiters seems to ignore our table. The feeling of pretending that they don't see us calling their attention and the feeling of them in a rush was very disappointing and annoying. Being in the hospitality industry, being busy is not an excuse. No matter how busy it is, we need to stay hospitable. We became annoyed when two artist with their friends sat at the back of our table. The waitress really attended them the way all of us should have been attended. They should not choose their costumers because all of us are pays our bill. All the costumers should be treated as a VIP.
Overall:
Overall I would still recommended this restaurant because of the ambiance and especially the food. If your looking for a place to catch up with your friends with classy and tasty food, Raging Bull Chophouse and Bar can be that place. I just hope that you wont experience the kind of service we experience because SERVICE sums up the whole dining experience as well.
We went there to celebrate my wife's birthday. We love every bit of it. The steak was top grade. My son had the burger and enjoyed every bite. The place is a bit pricey but the whole dining experience was worth it.
The ambiance is really good, i love the wine, the place, its a bit loud would be nice to have like a romantic place somewhere in the room
But nevertheless best lamb chops i ever tasted.
We went at opening hours so the place was pretty much to ourselves. The place is simply lit and relatively new. Food was amazing! I would recommend the ribeye selection as it is soft and had tasted delicious. The pumpkin risotto and the crab cake as well is something to try.
Nothing to separate this resto from other steakhouses, save maybe for the fancy steak knives diners can choose from. Ambience is nice. Food, the meat, especially, probably middle tier for me.
It is a great place to celebrate life's occassions and even random dates with your family.
Their steak is also great. So tender and juicy.
Their ambience adds to the food's flavor! :)
This review is long overdue. Me and my partner have been regulars at Raging Bull ever since it opened and I have nothing but praises for this establishment. Let's start with the food. Quality and consistency đđŒ The steaks are stars of the show but the support cast make the menu so versatile with small tweaks and updates seasonally to keep the show interesting.
The customer service is simply outstanding. We have thrown every situation at their staff and management from simple complaints, to reservation squeezes, to forgetting the wallet at home; and they have never disappointed. Very well managed and trained team... possibly the best restaurant staff I have experienced... In the Philippines.
This restaurant should be on everyone's weekly schedule. 5-stars
Had our team lunch here and availed of their executive lunch meal. For a 2-course meal, it would cost you around Php 690.00. We had the choices of having either crab cake, pumpkin soup or salad as our first course and a choice of duck confit, salmon or mushroom risotto as the main course (tip: you can upgrade your main course to steak by adding Php 900.00).
I opted for the crab cake which was amazing to say the least. For the main course, I went for the confit duck leg. I honestly wanted to go with the risotto since I love risotto and am extremely critical when it comes to the cooking of duck. Am pleased to say that the duck was perfectly cooked, solid 4.5/5. It was salty but was perfectly complemented by the sweet beets and pineapple on the side.
Props to the staff for making the experience doubly enjoyable. Make sure to ask for Mico, Liz, Gerald, James, Lhem or Vincent when you pay them a visit. Staff was extremely attentive and warm to their customers. Thank you! đ

This is a highly recommended upscale restaurant (in an equally classy hotel, if I may add) for those nights when you want to splurge or impress your partner with some nicely-grilled steaks and creatively-made sides. You can never go wrong with any steak or side, really, as their menu features steaks and other food options that have been carefully selected and put together for the discerning eater.
Their attendants are also worth mentioning because they certainly know how to make you feel special and well taken care of.
Dined in here a few times already and I'm pretty sure there will be more in the next few months / years.
Ambiance 5/5, Taste 5/5, Service 5/5, Value for money 0/5. So thats 15/20 for a 75% score. I just wished that for what you pay, the servings should have been generous and sidings or free. The sidings which were each worth P250 or P270 were so tiny. We shouldn't have split the soup also because the regular serving was tiny. I think our server was also embarrassed for the tiny sidings she served us. When my son ordered an extra cup of rice (which was not in the menu), the waitress reminded us politely that it was also P250. You know most people will probably feel insulted, but I was glad she did tell us and my son just declined. He mentioned that he was surprised that his allowance for one day just buys a cup of rice in Raging Bull. Had I known the servings were tiny, i should have just spent more on the steak. Well that's a lesson on paying for overhead. 600 gram steak didnt look 600 grams, or maybe my brain was traumatized by the tiny servings. Hey if you are willing to pay P250 for a cup of rice, it is a superb restaurant and bar. Zomato says expect to pay P2800 for two. It's more like P2500 for one without drinks. I think I will just enjoy my stock of rib-eye and wagyu here in the house with unlimited sidings.
Excellent food, ambience and service! Priced at a premium, but you definitely get what you pay for. Our servers were super charming, especially Ella and Chris â€ïž
