Today marks my 33rd year of existence and I am lucky enough to be celebrating it with the whole family at the Silver Bucket Seafood Dining at Twin Lakes in Laurel, Batangas.
Silver Bucket Seafood Dining opened last October 2015. The seafood themed restaurant had its Grand Opening with Eight-Division World Boxing Champ, Manny Pacquiao as their special guest. The restaurant is a collaboration between a group of Filipinos who are all based in the Middle-East. They're aiming to bring a unique fusion of sumptuous seafood dishes to both local and foreign tourist in the cool city of Tagaytay
Today, my family and I were fortunate enough to try out a few of the specialties of this awesome restaurant. For starters we had Pumpkin Bisque, Shrimp Dynamite and Chicken Lettuce Wrap. The sweet taste of the Pumpkin Bisque blended well with the spiciness of the shrimp and was perfectly balanced with the saltiness of the Chicken Lettuce Wrap. Wifey and the kids also enjoyed the complimentary Prawn Chips placed in a cute little rattan basket and served with house-blended asian vinegar. For our main course, we had Seafood Paella and a slab of Baby Back Ribs. The Seafood Paella was cooked to perfection as the rice was Al dente and was firm to the bite. The beef ribs was slow-cooked and had a "just right" smokey taste and the meat was literally falling off the bones. To top it all off, this scrumptious feast came with the perfect ambience which was very relaxing and a service crew that acted like our own personal butlers and was always there to cater to what ever we needed while we were having our lunch.
Overall, Silver Bucket Seafood Dining was a great dining experience and is a restaurant worth recommending to friends and families.
The foods are amazing, as in hinde ka titigil sa kakakain, plus the service is very great. I love how they treat their cuatomer.
The BEST Restaurant in Twin Lakes <3 Thank You Liezl Quiliza-Cruz for the GOOD Food and Warm welcome =D <3
Had the privilege to work with Chef Francis and Boss Jeric in making the menu for Silver Bucket and to say it was a great experience would be an understatement. See, before the dining public gets to sample their amazing food creation, we were able to soak in all its goodness, post photo session.
As the photo shoot director/food stylist novice, we chose to shoot the real thing to capture authenticity and the food's real essence. All you'll see on the menu, will be pure, unadulterated delicious goodness Silver Bucket will be known for.
Got to coin a jive for the same, after the session which reads;
Experience life's silver linings when you come to Silver Bucket Seafood Dining.
I did.
Service 6/5
Food 3/5
Ambiance 5/5
The kuya who served us was so polite and nag offer pa siya to take our pics. Went there around 2-3pm kaya wala talagang kumakain. Mabalis rin naserve ang food. 😍 We ordered god for 2 meal pero yung kanin good for 4-5 yata. Haha! Ayos!
The concept is basically a seafood restaurant mainly for casual dining. Whether it's a date night, family gathering or barkada get together, this will be a fitting venue. The place is spacious enough (with 2 floors actually) and the view of Taal is a plus. The interiors, mellow music and the ambience as a whole carries a relaxing vibe. The servers are very active and responsive thus service is excellent. Finally, the food. Except for the little bit salty chicken, everything is perfect (atleast for us). The price is not as high as you might imagine. In fact, they allow half orders for their Paella.
This place was pretty good, I came here for a different merienda in Manila and was instantly rewarded with great food. Definitely give this place a try
A nice restaurant with nice interiors. At the back, it has a nice view of Taal. Of course, we had the Mixed Seafoods in a Bucket (cajun garlic butter in house sauce), their specialty. It had crabs, shells, prawns (I forgot if it had fish). It was flavorful and fresh.
Baby Back Ribs with mashed potatoes and vegetables, potato wedges. Meat was tender and not at all hard to cut. Sauce was also good.
Chicken Teriyaki. Good, but nothing special. A bit overpriced.
Apple cucumber juice was refreshing and not too sweet.

The Shrimp Thermidore on the menu remains to be a rare gem of a find with the emerging restaurant along the Tagaytay-Nasugbu circuit. Great to have the same with a rich Cream of Pumpkin soup. Set in a casual, fresh atmosphere with the country's version of the Napa Valley, a must for sore eyes.
