My 3rd time to dine. Still yummy their food. Fast serving of food. Mabilis ang order. That’s why everytime punta akong Tagaytay d2 ako kumakain talaga. Mabilis ang order even dami tao. Hope they will maintain their good service and good , hearty food.

Looking for a perfect place for lunch or dinner in Tagaytay? We found this Filipino restaurant along Crossing Mendez. We weren’t supposed to dine here but because I saw online that this is one of the best bulalo resto in the area, we paid a visit and tried their food. Upon entering, you will see long lines waiting to be seated. Mostly, families are dining here. Luckily, we just waited for about 3 minutes only because we’re only two. Yey!
We arrived with so much in line but the staff accomodate us quickly we didn’t wait that long, Bulalo was in bowl of ‘Palayok’ to remain the temperature hot. The taste is great and fulfilling it’s like a remedy food. We also ordered crispy tawilis as it was in their headline. As expected, crispy, soft and tasty you can eat the whole fish. We will definitely go back here :) @sushicatAJ
Our first Tagaytay Bulalo experience 👍🏼
Place 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Open area but the breeze in Tagaytay is enough. The place looks like a typical ‘tambayan’, nothing fancy.
Food 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Price is reasonable. Huge servings!

Went here for a quick Bulalo Fixed. Restaurant is just along the highwaya and it has a good view. Its more affordable compared to other restaurants in Tagaytay. Their Bulalo is one of the best! Beef is so tender and delicious soup. We'll comeback soon.
Come for the bulalo, stay (and come back) for the crunchy sisig!! 💖
Went on a Tagaytay date here last July 4 and the SO wanted to come here for breakfast! Because it was an early weekday morning, we were the only customers there and it was nice and quiet. 😁
We ordered bulalo, sisig, and a platter of garlic rice for breakfast (yes... yes.) and it did not disappoint at all! The bulalo was delicious and had an abundance of meat too - I loved sipping on the soup while the cool Tagaytay breeze wafted through the place. Sarap! 😊
But the big surprise to me was the sisig - it's the crispy, crunchy kind; which is my favourite. The SO is very, very picky with sisig and this is his favourite too! The amount of chili was just perfect for us too. The taste is not greasy at all and we loved it so much that we are considering coming back just to eat the sisig - maybe we'll order a serving each for good measure, hahaha. 😂
Not a perfect rating because they could improve on their bathroom facilities. But other than that we loved it here!
The taste of Bulalo is really on point! Also their Crispy Tawilis is a must try. You'll definitely enjoy a lunch out here specially with their courteous staff. My only suggestion for them is to improve and develop their interior. But overall, Bulalo Point is a thumbs up!
Good place when you are looking for delicious but affordable food in Tagaytay! It is easy to spot because it's along the highway. Place is big and can accommodate many customers. Bulalo is served hot and is good for 2-3 people. Sisig is lit! I also love their tawilis.
Maraming karne at gulay.
The bulalo is spot on. I can't compare it to any of it competitors cause this is the only place we ate bulalo.
We also ordered their sisig. Yummy!
Will recommend for those who like a view while eating a comfort food in a nippa hut.
Fast service, good food, reasonably priced. The serving size of the special bulalo and tawilis could be good for 2-3. We went here on a Saturday so expect a lot of people. We ended up having to share a table with a different group.
We’ve been here a couple of times already. It’s our go to bulalo place in tagaytay mainly because of the affordability of their food. We never leave Bulalo Point without ordering their Bulalo and Tawilis.
Just can’t give the place a perfect rating because I think they have to improve the cleanliness of their bathroom. That’s all. 😊
Forgot to take pictures of the food before we eat.
Anyway, read a lot of times that they have the best bulalo, and so after watching strictly dumpling's review we decided to give it a try. Got mix emotions at this resto but because their bulalo is so so delicious i will give 4 stars. Their sisig is hard to chew but taste ok and they also have one of the best inihaw na liempo.
Service is pretty slow, the restaurant is almost full and i think they need more servers. but yes, they are still all smiles whenever we ask for something.
Place is typical kubo type so expect that it is not too instagrammable.
Bulalo point is budget friendly restaurant but even if their bulalo is just 420 per bowl(serves 2-3 but i think it's more like 3-4), it did not fall short on it's quality. Will def go back!!
Yeah, I loved it! We came here for Kare-kare Bulalo and it did not disappoint. Serving is big. It is good for 4-5 persons and has complete vegetable and a generous servings of bulalo meat. Sauce is very creamy and peanut-ty. Definitely, one of the reasons in going to Tagaytay.
The place is very crowded. We arrived at around 1:30 pm and was seated past 2pm. There was still a line when we left but for me waiting is okay because staff is accommodating, friendly and attentive.
How to get here: From Olivarez, there are jeepneys in front of KFC going to Mendez, just ask the driver to drop you off to Bulalo point. That's after Skyranch. Then going back to Manila, just wait for a bus in front of Bulalo Point going to Pasay.
Food is great! Proportions is ok, pang sharing. Kung hanap niyo is Legit taste bulalo. Yung isang order would feed atleast 4 people sobra pa yun. Medyo hirap lang sa parking. Other foods is also delicious. Recommending Daing na Bangus!
Whenever I go to Tagaytay City, the first thing I'll be thinking of is the famous Bulalo and Tawilis dish. And in Bulalo point this will surely satisfy your cravings on this dishes. The bulalo broth in particular is very tasty and has a well balance taste. The meat in it is so tender that it just rips apart. The deep fried tawilis adds a very fresh taste with the bulalo, a very good combination to each other.
The price is nit that expensive compared with other restaueants around the area. So whenever you are in Tagaytay, make sure to visit and have a taste of Bulalo Point.
We wanted some bulalo when we went to tagaytay and this one had good reviews and was closest to our location so we tried it. The view was amazing. Their bulalo (good for 2-3 according to the menu) was actually good for 3-4 people, making it more sulit for the price. We ordered two bowls with one extra soup refill for each. The meat in one of our bowls however was still not soft and hard to chew so we had to ask them to cook it again. The staff was friendly and accommodating to our needs.
On a cold and cuddly weather, Bulalo Point is your place to go.
Food: I’ve tried of course their Special Bulalo which is like a warm hug. Their crispy tawilis where you could eat from the head to its tail. Seriously, there’s nothing to be wasted with this fish. My favorite will be their Special Boneless Bangus. I’m telling you that this fish is enormous. It’s very flavourful and meaty. I also tried their Sinigang na Hipon which taste so fresh.
Ambience: It is very Filipino vibe. It’s raining when we went there so it’s very breezy.
Service: The service is awesome where the servers are fast
Over all: I love this place so much so I would give it some 5 stars.
After researching Bulalo Point as one of the restos in Tagaytay famous with Bulalo, my family and I visited the place.
The Bulalo has too much meat (which is a good thing) though not too hot since it is windy outside.
My favorite was the Sisig!
One tip also if you want Calamansi Juice, buy the Concentrated Calamansi w/ honey which can do 30 drinks. Super refreshing!
Parking is available.
Wait until seated.
Customer service is helpful.
The place is nice, it gives you a bahay kubo type of vibe. The food is quite pricey for a student like me. But their food is sooooo good and it gives you a good view of the Taal Volcano. And ofcourse; when you visit Tagaytay. You should never miss getting bulalo.
Their bulalo is priced at 385. It says it is good for 2-3 persons. But we were five, and managed to have a fair share for everyone
Their chopseuy was also great.
But my favorite is their Sizzling Sisig. It was very delicious and good for sharing. The mayonaise really complemented well with the sisig.
Photos are not that good but the overall experience was good.
Updated price for their special bulalo is 420php. We ordered the Nilagang Bulalo @ 480 php, and I must say I love the tenderness of their beef and the portions! For less than 800php, we even had so much left to take home. Nothing exceptional with the dining crew, but glad they did not upset me unlike with my usual experience when dining out.
the bulalo is the best!!! mas mura kesa sa iba pero super dami nya. akala ko for the price of 450 is ok pero super ok pala 😊😊 babalik ako dito
The fact that there are a lot of people who dine here is a proof that this is one of the places to be with a family lunch or dinner. Food is good, and very affordable.
We got the Special Bulalo, Kare Kare Bulalo, Sisig, and Bicol Express. Loved the two kinds of bulalo. The Bicol Express was not that good, it had too much fat. Service and facilities were acceptable. Would come back again for just the bulalo.
I recommend this place to anyone who wants to have an unforgettable Bulalo experience. Their bulalo taste great and I love how fast their service are considering that the place was jampacked with people. The staffs are friendly and efficient.
They have the best bulalo I’ve had so far. The portions are fair portions and the taste is great! This is a must visit for any tourist in Tagaytay.
Bulalo point offers one of the best bulalo in town! The broth is very delicious and the prices are reasonable as well. I love the tawilis as well its super delicious and it's not that salty. The bulalo's meat is so tender that some parts melt in your mouth! Make sure to include Bulalo point in your go to places if you plan to have a getaway in Tagaytay! The ambiance is a bit lowkey but the service is great! I swear this is a must try bulalo!
If you’re on a budget and looking for cheap yet delicious food, this is the place you can go to. Servings are really huge - good for 2-3, food was ok, ambience was fine.
Worth the price and taste! I always wanted the bulalo experience and this is better than the one in mahogany market!
The price in the market is the same here, you’ll just add a little.
I love their special bulalo. Indeed, worth the price. You get a generous amount of serving for only ₱385. The broth, the texture of the meat are just perfect! Then order their fried rice and you're all good! The Sizzling Tanigue's sauce compliments well to the meat of the fish, one serving for ₱295 can be shared to 3-4 persons. Please note that I am a heavy eater myself. And I can tell why their Ripe Mango Shake is their best seller! I just love how you can really taste the freshness of the mango. We didn't order a lot because we're only 2 when we went there. And I'm just craving for bulalo that time. All I can say is, we will definitely go back for their bulalo, I love it to the extent that we ordered another set as our take away. Plus points for the view and the staff. Staffs are very accomodating, serving time can take 15-20minutes but its worth the wait. We went on a Sunday around 2pm and there are still enough seats to accomodate. Location wise, easy access since its along the main road. Parking won't be a problem probably if they are not jam-packed. Planning to commute going there? Just ride a bus in Pasay going to Tagaytay or Batangas. Tell the conductor to drop you in Mendez at Bulalo Point. You'll see Petron gasoline station on your right side. Go down and cross the road because opposite to that you'll see Bulalo Point.
One of the good places to eat bulalo in Tagaytay. Meat serving was huge for the price. Vegetables were also served fresh. Sisig was also yummy. The place is overlooking the lake. The servers were alao attentive.
Ambiance - No need to explain, it is tagaytay view is great.
Server - attantive.
Food - Since this is near mahogany market the bulalo were huge 😁 we had kare kare, bulalo soup, sizzling bulalo, fried chicken, kilawing tanigue, chopsuey, as always our tummies were satisfied, we love food so much 😊 the price is affordable.
Price is right. Big serving portion. Unli sabaw hehe. Meat is so tender and tasty. Food is good. We always eat here when we go tagaytay. Medyo matagal lang service jam packed kasi lagi hehe.
Not so much into Bulalo but this one’s a good find! Perfect for this rainy season plus it’s just a few hrs drive from Manila.
Upon arriving at the place, we were immediately seated even if there are plenty of people. Good thing that the place has enough tables and chairs that can accommodate around 50 pax all in all.
Budget for 2 is approx 1,000 if you’re planning to buy viands other than bulalo but if you’re only ordering bulalo and 2 cups of rice, 500 pesos would be enough!
Being the first bulalo restaurant I ever tried, Bulalo Point set the bar high. It was a gloomy weekday afternoon when we drove here and we easily got our car parked. When we went inside we were seated immediately since it was already 3pm and there were few people.
We ordered Special Bulalo, Ripe Mango Shake, and plain rice. Their Special Bulalo is good for 2-3 persons but it tastes so good that 2 people can finish it with satisfied tummies and there is no need to order other dishes. The beef is soft and the taste of the soup is perfect for a cloudy Tagaytay weather. What's sad though was that we only got one bone marrow in our bowl. When we visit again, we'll definitely ask if we can have more. Their Ripe Mango Shake is blended well and the sweetness is just right.
Getting the staff's attention was easy and they are somehow friendly. The view is mostly mountains and some houses in the neighborhood but the simple design of the restaurant is reminiscent of a simple happy provincial life.
Just so we could try other bulalo restos in Tagaytay and not keep coming back to Leslie’s and those on the main road, we checked Zomato and found this place. I was a bit surprised that there were a lot of people. The bulalo was was just right. I liked the eggplant ensalada. My kids ordered the grilled liempo but was not able to try it and the wifey said it was great. I also liked the tawilis but the wifey did not although she was never a fan of eating them.
Ang generous ng serving ng bulalo, and mas mura compared to other restos hindi naman din naiiwan sa lasa :) I gave it a 4 because their crispy tawilis can still be improved... other than that, I'm fine with this place:)
Tight parking, but very helpful and attentive parking attendant.
Ambience is okay. Unfortunately, I cam during peak hours of dinner time so it got really crowded. (7:30pm ish and it was Holy Thursday)
However, even if I felt that they were under staff the staff were accommodating and tried their best to get what we needed ASAP. We were lucky to get a sit right away. Their special Bulalo for Php385 was good for 2-5 people. It was okay, worth the price! I have yet to try their other dishes.
That Bulalo was on Point!
Product: I kept hearing only good stuff about Bulalo Point especially while on the way eating here. Of course, who passes by Tagaytay without Bulalo, right? I love how their servings are good for sharing so it gives you room to try lots of food when you're with friends or family.
We got two bowls of their Special Bulalo (Php 365.00): which is good for 2-3 people. You can request for more bone marrows and they'll give it if they're generous enough. That soup really hit the spot, especially on a cold December night. The meat was also soft and easy to eat, and that bone marrow was heaven.
Fried Kangkong (Php 95.00): a great start to what's coming up for our meal ahead. I'm still not sure about how healthy this dish is but if your kids don't eat vegetables, they might like this one.
Crispy Tawilis (Php 195.00): The tawilis were much bigger than I was used to thus it had more fish meat. It's both good and bad, it was delicious of course as expected if you normally eat this back at home but because of its bigger size than usual, I could only eat a few to preserve my small appetite. But then again, I could be the only one eating small tawilis back at home.
Crispy Pata (Php 490/Medium): we ran out of the large portion and thank goodness for that because this was already enough for our group. I liked their crispy pata but the meat wasn't marinated down to the bones and the meat wasn't as easy to chew. I don't if it's just me but I've had a lot of good crispy patas before. I still did enjoy it but their bulalo is still the must order here.
Venue: Bulalo Point is located in Aguinaldo Highway and if you're driving, you can easily locate it via Waze/Google Maps. The place is an open space, there are no windows, just a view of the city and it's fresh, fresh air. The place is quite big and families seem to love eating here. The servers were also very easy to call and the service was good, not fast but not slow enough that you will go hungry waiting.
One of our go to restaurants in Tagaytay. The ambiance and overall appearance may not be good or at par with similar joints like Josephine's or Leslie's, but the food and price certainly makes up for it. I prefer their version of bulalo compared to Leslie's because the broth is beefier and not salty, has more of that home-cooked taste to it. I would also recommend their sizzling tofu, and sizzling bangus. Their sizzling sisig could use more meat and less onions.
We ate here during our New Year's vacation (6pax) on the night before the celebration (December 2016). We ordered bulalo, tawilis and chopsuey. The bulalo was good and big enough to accomodate the six of us, and just tsted okay, nothing too special though. I'm not really a fan of the tawilis but it was enough to satisfy the cravings of our companions. Chopsuey was the usual, big serving, tastes bland and needs more "sahog."
Ambiance was great as the nipa hut reminded me of lunches in the province though it was a bit cold. It was also hard to get hold of the server as we were a bit far from the resto proper. We also got disappointed (a bit) since we were not able to get our desired dessert since the staff told us that for most of the desserts, they had no more stocks.
This place would appeal for those looking for an affordable food in Tagaytay though. Just make sure to select a location near the servers.
Mura lang ang bulalo pero masarap! Mabilis lang din ang pagserve at mainit na mainit talaga. Attentive staff too. Comfort Rooms are clean too
Me and my friends came from Taft to do a furniture visit and decided to eat lunch at Bulalo Point. Their foods were superb! Definitely filled my cravings of Bulalo!
The best known go to place for bulalo seekers in Tagaytay! Cheap but great tasting food, Nipa huts and overlooking view of the Taal lake. This iz really iz it!!!!!
The area is big so we don't have to wait for other groups to finish. But the service was really slow. We waited for half an hour before our orders were served. The bulalo was on point but the curry we ordered was meh.
We arrived in Tagaytay at 6am and my mother wanted to eat bulalo. We went to this restaurant and said they weren't open til 7am. We waited anyway but they accomodated us at around 640am. We ordered bulalo, fried chicken, pinakbet, and fried rice; paid a total of 930, not bad at all!
They have a really big space inside surprisingly... but small parking space. One of the best go-to place in Tagaytay if you want to eat bulalo. One of the most affordable too relatively because in other resto, bulalo is so expensive! Satisfied with their bulalo. It's good for sharing and it's really delicious.
The best bulalo I've tasted. An old bulalo place, nothing extravaggant, cr is fairly clean (personal experience. May vary), and interior and ambiance is bahay kubo inspired. Sobrang sarap ng bulalo pero very underrated. Just 360php ( i think? ) For a big pot of Bulalo. Sulit na talaga. As in parang di nauubos yung meat. At grabe yung bone marrow. The soup is incredibly tasty too! Mahogany market bulalo soup cannot compare. I swear. Plus points for the very friendly staff, and quick service. I will definitely come back!
Location : pretty easy to find since it's along the highway.
Cleanliness : it was okay. Could be better.
Parking : good thing we were early. We found a decent slot.
Food : good. My boyfriend loved the bulalo so much. It's the cheapest among all the good restos that I searched here in Zomato. The crispy tawilis for me is just so - so.
Ambiance and view : so - so
Service: speedy. The servers just need to smile more. :)
I've been craving for bulalo and this one really satisfied my cravings. They're just located in the highway which is very accessible. They have reasonable price and large servings and I must say that this one is very delicious. Has a lot of bone marrow which I so like. The beef is very tender and soup is very savory. It was served in palayok that's maintaining its hotness while enjoying the cold weather in Tagaytay. Will definitely go back here.
Bulalo Point is one of the maaaaany famous bulalo-han here in Tagaytay. They used to have mini kubo/nipa hut which can accomodate different number of guests, just like in Mer-Ben and Balinsasayaw. But now, I think just the normal dining tables na lang. We ordered bulalo, which is really yummy, lechon kawali na hindi naman crispy and chopsuey, typical. Overall experience is okay.
Foods are delicious and affordable. Bulalo deserves a 5.0 here. It is very tasty and the beef is soft and tender. 1 order is actually good for 4 if you have other orders like vegetables, etc. I'm only giving Bulalo Point a 3.5 because their roof needs repairing. It's a good thing we were done eating when a heavy rain poured, otherwise we would have to stop eating because raindrops are getting through the roof into our foods.
The bulalo was ok, but nothing special. I'm really disappointed that it was served warm instead of piping hot. I would've given this place a higher rating if only their tables didn't smell very strongly of cleaning products. You can smell it while eating. Total appetite killer.
On the bright side, their bulalo servings are huge and one palayok can probably comfortably feed five people. I'd day it's great value for money.
Whenever we go Tagaytay this is one of our favorite stops other than coffee shops. We love ordering of course their Bulalo and Tawilis to be paired with soy sauce, chili and kalamansi. The price is reasonable and you'll have some chilly breezy air experience with family.
Place - restaurant is open air and was really crowded, we were lucky to have a seat after 20 mins of searching. There were no special something in the place aside from the view and their food, tables and chair was simple. The place was a simple restaurant w/ a specialty.
Service - well service was quite slow considering that it was very crowded. Food was served 20-30 mins after you ordered.
Food - we ordered:
Special Bulalo - it was so good!! The meat was very juicy and soft. Veggies were very fresh and crunch. However the marrow was not intact in the bone, I was only able to eat less of the marrow. And it was not that hot, it felt like it was cooked hours ago and they just put it in the pot.
Inihaw na Liempo - it was served w/ a sarsa. It's good, however they didn't even have a marinade for the meat. It felt like it was only sliced then they grilled it only. W/o dipping it into the sarsa, the meat tastes bland.
Lechon Kawali - it was good however, it was so dry and it made the taste of the meat kinda bland.
Ensaladang Mangga - very good!!! For the 95php price, the serving was ample unlike other establishment that serve you a few.
Ripe Mango Shake, Green Mango Shake and Strawberry Shake - shake tastes good.
THE BEST PLACE TO EAT BULALO AND SISIG IN TAGAYTAY!!! THE STAFF ARE OKAY AND THE PRICES OF THE FOOD ARE VERY AFFORDABLE YOU'LL NEVER REGRET EATING HERE!!!
If you want to have Bulalo at Tagaytay, I would definitely recommend this to you. I super love their kare kare and bulalo. It was my aunt and uncle's wedding anniversary when we dine here. My aunt's friend was one of their cook. There are many people who dine here during weekends and holidays.
BEST BULALO EVER! definitely worth the trip. You wont taste this kind of bulalo around the metro. Spend P365 for Special Bulalo and you wont regret it. You will definitely enjoy the "Sabaw" with the cold weather. Tip: order extra rice right away. 😉
Other Must Try:
Kare Kare Bulalo
Sizzling Mushroom
Ensaladang Talong or Mangga
If you're looking for a place with good food at great cost, this is the place to be! Whenever I order, bulalo and tawilis never miss the list. This is where I first tasted tawilis and they are beyond what I expected -- yummm. The bulalo is also a remarkable one for its tasty broth and tender meat. But the catch is, unlike other restos, they only have 'one-refill' for each order of bulalo.
About the place. There are multiple seats for groups. If looking forward for the view of Taal, it's not quite seen from the place so better lower your expectations lol. Lastly, sad to say, they have a bad space for parking. Only few cars can be accommodated and the floor is always a lil watery.
If you are looking for a barkada lunch or dinner this is defintely the place to go. Their bulalo is awesome. Every order has bone marrow. 😆 They don't have barkada meals though but their order is good for 3 to 4 persons. They don't have credit cards though hopefully they can accommodate it soon. Will definitely come to this place again.
The best time to eat bulalo is when it's cold so where else is best to eat it than Tagaytay where the weather is cool and perfect. Bulalo Point serves really delish Bulalo and is best paired with the unique tawilis, which is fish only found or caught from Taal lake. The view is amazing too. It's one of our fave places to eat lunch at.
it was the perfect bulalo weather yesterday! so cold and foggy! the broth is good and the meat is so tender. but of course, the bone marrow is tdf ❤
simple tagaytay date with the boyfie yesterday hehe
Whenever we come to Tagaytay, we always drop by Bulalo Point for lunch, not for the view but for the food and the ambiance. It’s a casual alfresco place along Aguinaldo Highway with a family restaurant vibe. It often invites a Filipino mariachi band that sings contemporary songs in an acoustic fashion.
#EKDrawingGoesToTagaytay
Legit bulalo in town! Seriously! The broth is so good. Yun pa lang solve na solve ka na. After tasting their bulalo I always crave for more bulalo. Haha! But the problem is that no other bulalo can defeat the deliciousness and savory broth of their bulalo. If I crave for more bulalo I should always go to Tagaytay to taste their yummy bulalo. We tried also their inihaw na bangus but I guess their bulalo wins my heart. Take note! The bulalo serving size they said to us is good for 2 to 3 persons but I think it is good for 3 to 4 persons.
