I had this chance to dine in last Wednesday at Gourmet Farms resto in Libis. I am like in great awe when i tasted their greens! Freaking I am not a veggie lover and i feel that there is no great taste when eating healthy foods. Oh well it has changed! The one I got for my sort of appetizer was the Taco Avocado salad. I was just curious about the mix, to my surprise the flavor was just fantastic! I also tried the Brown rice with Adobo flavor meat, oh my it was heavenly! To add on this i had my signature cooler on the side, the Basil leaves with calamansi extract, it was just a perfect match! I had tried some competitors who served greens and healthy food but i can say the one i had last time was really great! The servings were really big for a very reasonable price! Now i can tell that you can enjoy life while eating healthy! Kudos to the resto and the chef! Thanks to my friend Jordan for making me taste how good the food they serve! By the way, the stafffs were all very polite and cheerful! Well done! I will visit again soon!

Thank you sooo much gourmetfarmsph we felt super grand today! You definitely exceeded my expectations. HiGHLY RECOMMENDED! The lettuce chips with salsa dip was a great pre-meal, combined with the potato truffle fries ??? (not sure about the name as it was compliments of Gourmet Farms and is not yet on their menu as the polite waiter said. LUCKY US! Hehe) We ordered our favorite margherita pizza, pescatore pasta (since the fiancè loves seafoods sooo much), signature lemonade and of course brewed coffee...every meal was sumptuous! We capped off our lunch with Gourmet Farm's pa-birthday cake and greetings! (honestly, it was the only thing that I was hoping for to make our dining experience have that birthdayish feel but then Gourmet Farms Ph was super generous. Thank you so much again for going extra! ) Gourmet Farms, Inc.

I bought Benguet Borbon coffee by Gourmet Farms at Fisher Mall located at Quezon Ave corner Roosevelt Ave (location of former Pantranco). Grinding was free. I had a medium/regular grind for my flat bottom coffee filter/maker at home. After grinding, the coffee was placed in a proper coffee bag and sealed. The young man who helped us was friendly and knowledgeable about the coffee he was selling. I brewed the coffee at home. My mom and I loved it! Benguet Borbon is my new favorite coffee. The taste is just as described in the Gourmet farms website. It is a medium bodied coffee with low to medium acidity. The coffee tasted by itself tasted perfect. I did not need to add any cream or sweetener to it. It is perfect! Benguet Borbon is my new favorite coffee!!! My next stop is a visit to Gourmet Farms in Silang, Cavite which has rave reviews in tripadvisor

This place is a part of my bucket list that I checked this year.  The place was unexpectedly laid back yet the food was exquisite!  I love the fact that the resto had a piano in the middle room.  And - high ceiling!  Gorgeous!  Should you wish to experience their cuisine try the beef pot roast.  And don't forget to order their Signature Lemonade, really refreshing!

I'm a fan of Gourmet Products, but when it comes to their food, I can say it's just okay... I initially uploaded already some of the food photos all that's left is the coffee panacotta with matching brewed coffee. Price of this dessert is high as compared with other panacotta which we tried from authentic italian restaurants. I can just honestly say for me it's just 3-3.5 rating. But I consider this as a nice and decent resto if you're caught in late lunch on the way to Tagaytay.

This can be your stop over before heading to your hotel in Tagaytay City!

My boyfriend brought me to The Dining Room in Tagaytay to celebrate our 6th anniversary. It was my first time trying the restaurant out. The place was nice. I was satisfied with our experience. Out of all the dishes we ordered my favorite was their Greek Nachos. Oh, they offer buffet too but we only found out after our food was already served. We saw people going to the buffet area. Hopefully, when I have a chance to eat here again I'll try their buffet.

Gourmet Farms was born in 1988 (hey, same as me!) and is the first organic farm in the country. They actually started out as a coffee company - they're not only the first company to export Philippine coffee beans, but they also import the best quality single origin blends from all over the world and make them accessible to local consumers.

Today, Gourmet Farms is a restaurant, a cafe, a bakery, and a store.

"The Dining Room is our restaurant and events place where we showcase our finest dishes using the freshest ingredients from our farm. Gourmet’s Café is a venue where our guests come to have coffee, snacks, and all-day breakfast. The Country Store offers our Gourmet products, pasalubong, and other novelty items for our diners and travelers in the area. Fresh baked items are also available from our own bakery."

..when i was little it was called the gourmet cafe, now its simply called the dining room. this place wakes childhood memories when my mom would take me here for that lovely bowl of warm bolognese made with their traditional meat sauce (now all i can do is reminisce because i cut off meat from my life) and then cruise away the afternoon watching the majestic volcano while on a joyride. now that it's only me and papa, we'll have our own food to reminisce about and their gambas rice and angus steak ala plantsa were both bold, generously served and extremely delicious! they have a coffee shop outside which sells their produce and preserves and they're both great to consume as is or as pasalubongs.

ShetSarap was invited for another Zomato foodie meetup. For this meetup, we went to Tagaytay to get some organic food!

The first stop in our meet-up was Gourmet Farms. Gourmet Farms is proud to be one of the few restaurants who offer farm-to-table food. Their restaurant is located right in front of their farm. Their farm tour lets you see first hand where and how the ingredients, particularly their vegetables are made.

The dining area is very simple yet elegant. It has a basic tables-and-chairs set-up, with the salad bar at the side and a baby grand piano on another. Also visible is the small window to the kitchen, and some works of art on the walls.

We had the privilege of trying their salad bar where you can make your own salad with numerous ingredients to choose from. Though the taste of the salad is in your hands, you can see how each vegetable is fresh, with its vibrant color. They also offer a variety of sauces which you can top your salad with.

Chips. The chips served were Greek Nachos. They were made out of lettuce topped with meat sauce, salsa, olives, and feta cheese. It was wonderful for everyone. The twist of making the chips from lettuce made every bite guilt-free! The toppings also went so well with the chips, because the tomato from the salsa tastes so fresh, and you know that it came from fresh squeezed tomatoes.

Gourmet Pizza. The pizza had parma ham, shrimps, zucchini, and white sauce. The overall taste is plain. The shrimp really stood out from the rest. There was an average-sized piece of shrimp in each slice, and the way it was flavored and cooked made it perfect.

Primavera (Spaghetti). The primavera, though carbs-heavy, was superb. With every bite that filled our stomachs, the urge to eat more was still there. The pasta was cooked in a perfect al dente, giving us the opportunity to savor the flavor brought out by the tomatoes. The tomato sauce made the meal feel healthy since just like the other dishes, the fresh tomatoes stood out.

Nero D Seppie (Black Pasta/Squid Ink). The Nero D Seppie was the black pasta with squid ink as its sauce. It had a different appeal to the mouth, as it was very smooth to eat. Reminder: Make sure to check your teeth after eating the meal since the sauce stains your teeth!

Cakes. We were able to taste were Sansrival, some Red Velvet-like treats, chocolate brownie, and a coffee bun. Each, delicately plated to please the longing of our greedy eyes. The Sansrival was our favorite, because it had a perfect balance of sweetness and saltiness. We were not sure what the other cake was, but its appearance looked like it was a slice of Red Velvet; it didn’t taste like it though. For us, it tasted like a good old non-flavored cake, which was good, too; better if we knew what it actually was. The chocolate brownie had the right amount of sweetness that would probably delight a child.

Coffee. The cafe also has coffee experts. They showed us different ways of preparing coffee to keep the taste rich and pure. They also said that if you have a certain taste of coffee that you want replicated, they can do that for you. They let us taste some great coffee, too.

One of the great things about The Dining Room is their salad bar. The lettuces and other greens are picked fresh from their organic farm, located just behind the restaurant. There are also wide array of add-ons to enhance your salad. You can also opt to top it off with several tasty dressings of their own recipe and making. I liked the mango salsa most.
Amongst the dishes served to us during our Zomato foodie adventure, I loved the greek nachos which used lettuce chips and the nero de seppie, a delicious spaghetti with calamari and squid ink. The gamberetti pizza had shrimp so fresh, that you could taste its natural sweetness. The gyros had great flavors going on but I personally would’ve preferred more filling or perhaps a thinner pita. From the wide array of desserts available, I enjoyed the white chocolate cheesecake most. All other cakes were good though, including their coffee bun and bars.
After a filling meal, you can go on a short tour and check out their beautiful and organized farm out back. Then, visit the Gourmet Farms store and café which has an overwhelming amount of goodies to choose from; heaven for the healthy eaters and those who prefer to enjoy food to its fullest, it even has something for those who enjoy a good cup of coffee. This place can ensure a great, fresh, well-cooked meal and the chance to bring back some of their ingredients available at their store or treats for loved ones back home.

They serve their food with the freshest ingredients from their farm. The food and the serving was very satisfying. I love how their chips/nachos were made out of lettuce. All of them were accommodating as well.

Food is always fresh and servers are very attentive. I just don't like the idea of weighing the salad parang palengke lang. I am not sure though if it's still the same nowadays. It's been months when we last visited this place.

And by the way this place is not located in Tagaytay. It is in Silang, Cavite.

Hey there, my brain needs more juicing up, I've been up and about this whole week preparing for an event which goes with my part time job, so do pardon me for siting someone else's, quote or letter.   But I find the words so apt for my husband and maybe your dad, your husband, son or brother, or a friend.   If  I'm one of his daughter, which he now have three, these could be the same words I could have written for him, but someone wrote it first, hehehe.

Before Santa Rosa-Tagaytay Road became the route of choice going to Tagaytay, most of us drove via Cavite's Coastal Road and onto Aguinaldo Highway to get to the ridge. If you went that way, you were most likely to make a stop at the original Gourmet Farms Cafe on the right side of the highway (golf course side). A few years have passed, and they have reopened a new restaurant a few hundred meters up the road, attached to their farm, which offers tours of their gardens, their coffee roastery, and even has a small retreat center in the back with some rooms to rent.

The Dining Room has a salad buffet, and an a la carte menu that highlights what's nicest about their fresh produce, whether it's the salad, or their brews, which they can custom brand for corporate clients (I just happened to know that).

Greek olive and feta salad tasted delicious, while we also had a chicken souvlaki and a salmon on mash (the mash was okay; a bit sticky). But there is really much more on the menu to savor; I recommend their coffees, their bruschettas, and the pasta.

These pics are from quite some time ago, but they will give you an idea of the main restaurant and the nearby souvenir store, which offers all their salads and organic greens for sale, as well as a full range of the Gourmet Farms bottled products, i.e. sauces, dressings, fish in oil, veggie chips, and coffees. Visitors also have a wide sampling of other brand organic products great for gifts, as well as dry goods useful for extended stays.

The Dining Room is our favorite stop over place whenever we go to Tagaytay. We usually visit for lunch, snack, or just a short visit to the grocery upstairs. The facade of the restaurant is like a Greek house in Santorini. It serves organic, farm to table dishes. They grown their own lettuce and coffee. For a small fee, you can visit their lettuce farm just behind the restaurant and walk around the farm and see how everything starts.

Being a frequent visitor, we probably have ordered everything on the menu. They often offer a buffet with unlimited fresh salad. Price is very affordable and worth the value. The vegetables are fresh and crisp. I also love their pastas and meals. Don't forget the banaba iced tea,

This is the place to go if you want to eat healthier and in a good environment. Parking is ample.
