loved it!! such a chill place, both the restaurant and the shop in La Carinderia. The food was amazing, the twist of filipino-italian meals were really surprising as well - the croquetas and the gnocchi (made with kalabasa if i'm not mistaken). It's also funny that you can find really good italian food all the way in Siargao! would recommend to friends and family indeed! :)

My dining experience here can be a hyperbole of 'love at second sight'. When I first passed by the place, I thought it's closed. But I was really craving for pasta, so I went back and simply asked if they were open. The owners and staff were very accommodating. Good news: they were open. Not-so-good news: pasta at the moment is not available. So I tried their special dish of the day (Chicken Cacciatora) and was surprised that I liked it. I also ordered Iced Latte (even I only drink coffee for a few select times) and I can say the blend was also one for the books.
But still into satisfying my first craving, I came back for dinner and tried the Penne Pasta Arrabbiata. The description says it's spicy and I have a penchant on spicy food. Bon appetit -- my dining experience (a lot like love) turned into 'food is sweeter the second time around.'
If you're looking for sumptuous meals which you can't find in urban cities, surprise yourself and experience a different island life dining at La Carinderia. You will not worry missing your Italian/Filipino comfort food when in Siargao.
P.S. I will surely give their best-seller Parmigiana Eggplant a try when I come back.
Best Italian in the Island and not only, great selection of wine and amazing desserts (lasagna and Tiramisu' are mind blowing!!). Nice friendly staff and great hosts/owners Stefano and Priscilla. Check out the little side shop they also run, very authentic accessories and italian imports..
I love this place; the food , the owners and the atmosphere . Healthy and delicious meals as Parmigiana, vegetable curry and they cook very good the fish on the grill. Very good price for small budgets. And always with good music and good people, what make it perfect <3

If you are looking for a good restaurant in Siargao do not hesitate to try "La Carinderia". Its parmigiana will blow up your mind. In addition, the staff is super friendly.
Great combination of Italian and Filipino Food in this excellent, cozy and friendly restaurant! Nice ambience and amazing place for bonding and socializing!!! Try it and will be really satisfied and will be going back again and again! Awesome establishment whether locals or tourists!!

Easily one of the best restos out there with great food prepared by an Italian chef. Hospitable and fast service too. We liked everything from appetizers, main course, drinks and desserts!
