Such DELICIOUS food! Portions were generous and staff were kind and friendly. Definitely try the spicy grilled squid and the torta. Kudos to the team!!

The high rating of 4 is mainly for the food! Especially the Extra Large Deep Fried Boneless Bangus!!! It is the best! And the freshly fried tortang talong too. Those are our 2 favorites and they are fried-to-order so they’re fresh and juicy when served. We’d drive all the way to Nuvali just for this and then of course some outlet shopping in the area too hehe to make the trip even more worth it.
The rice can be improved on but just ask for complimentary soup if the rice is too dry for you. Or better yet if you are in a big group or really hungry, order bulalo or sinigang.
Parking is free and easy since located in Solenad.
Not a perfect score though because cleanliness can be improved on too and although service was quick and efficient, don’t expect exchange of pleasantries with the servers LOL. The cleanliness, I mind. But the pleasantries, don’t need it anyway, I’m there for the food - again, specifically the bangus!!!
P.S. The chicharon bulaklak is so good too!
Looking for the best place to eat Bulalo? You. Have. To. Go. Here! And their huuuuuge daing na bangus. Anyone a fan of bangus belly? Dig innnnn! The size is one thing but the taste, I just had to order the frozen one and bring it back home. Not your fancy Tagaytay restaurant but the food can really be a warm hug on a cold night.
This simple restaurant brings back pleasant childhood memories. I did not realize how much I missed their food until we recently had late lunch here. The fried bangus belly, garlic rice, and bulalo were to die for! Still the same good old taste we love. This is the meaning of staple and comfort food. Staff were nice, too. I wish I took photos but we devoured the meal in a few minutes haha! See you again soon.
I would say that I've been to all of their branches. And every time I visit it's only the Boneless Bangus I care about. With a bowl of Bulalao Soup. And an occasional tikim of the Chicharong Bulaklak and the Pancit. But that's it.
Why? Because the thunder Bangus is the best there is. Really. It's fried right and the meat is so well-seasoned that one calamansi is all that it will ever need. My companions ordered for the Halabos na Hipon, the Binagoongang Talong, Pinakbet which all tasted flat beside the Superstar Bangus. I'm not sorry for sounding biased. Because I am.
The service? It's hideous. Not only do the servers lack in the physical aspect but also in what is proper. To say that the servers were poorly trained is far too generous. They haven't been trained. Period.
But who cares? As what I've said, the Boneless Bangus is all I come to LZM here for.
The serving was big. This place is good for sharing. I often order their boneless bangus and bulalo. They have very big serving of boneless bangus. Good for 3-4. Food was good.
Best bulalo and biggest bangus. My favorite place to have both. The bulalo is enough for 4 hungry people and they refill the sabaw. I would rate this higher, but their service isn't always the best including sometimes long waiting times for your food to come out.
So everytime we go to solenad with my grandfather we always eat here!!! ALWAYS. a good idea to eat lunch and dinner! I highly recommend their bulalo, daing na bangus and CHICHARON BULAKLAK!!!!!!
Filipino food, big servings, long queue, delicious food. It's my first time here and will definitely come back. They have reasonable price for their servings. The bulalo can feed a family of 5. Make sure to order their grilled squid with cheese, tomatoes and onion fillings. Space is small though so expect a long queue during dining hours.
This branch of LZM is the cleaner version of their Silang branch. I'm not sure if they have the same price but they the same food quality. The bangus and bulalo is a must try. Make sure though that you're willing to wait because this branch is always full.
Must try if youre on your way to tagaytay or in the sta.rosa area. Bangus very good and big. I also recommend getting the chicharon bulaklak but have it super toasted and extra crispy. I just hope the place was bigger but still i would definitely go back
The 2 adjacent outlets were full because it was a small area. We were lucky that a group just paid and was about leave. We ordered their famous fried bangus and chopsuey. Good ol comfort food.
This is our go to restaurant whenever we are in Solenad (well before the new mall was built) Last December, we came over for dinner. First time to see that they now occupy two slots. There was a wait list and we convinced MIL and Lola to ride it out. A line during peak hours is a good sign that the food is worth your wait. We saw that there were some tables that were more than halfway done anyway.
On the table
🔹Boneless Bangus - giant and tasty. we always order this no matter who we are with or how many we are in the party
🔹Tinola - cold weather means soup is in order. Surprised though that their version had cabbage.
🔹Tortang Talong - really good although a bit salty. nothing the catsup couldn't cover up.
We keep coming back because they serve great tasting food and servings are generous.
