Their dishes taste very good, staffs are very accomodating. One of our favorite Chinese restos. Highly recommended. Try their Peking Fried Chicken, Buttered Chicken, dimsums, Red Palace Fried Rice, and salt and pepper squid.
The food we ordered are all good.
Beef brocolli -- the beef is tender and really tasty
Yang chow fried rice -- not oily
Salt and pepper spareribs -- fat portion is not too big
The price however is pricey.

Typical old chinese restaurant that's very red hence the name Red Palace.
Food is great! Fresh and delicious as it should be, in a way that it honors Chinese cuisine greatly. The peking chicken was crispy on the outside and tender inside, as the Shanghai Fried Rice was a sure winner, with a thin, ubroken layer of omelette to sheild it in a dome type of manner, letting all the aroma and flavors be encased and burst when realeased. Along with the great food is great service and good ambiance, and the waiting time for the food, which is for other resturants unbearable, was definitely worth it, given that the food was cooked beautifully and hot. As for the ambiance, the place is nice and cozy, giving a somewhat homey feel. So, overall, Red Palace is a great place that I'd vistit again, and again, and again.

Excellent Chinese food I especially love their pata Tim , kingdao spareribs , deep fried king fish , Bday noodles and yang chow fried rice . Even their prices and serving is reasonable . Would really recommend the place to my friends .

This place is a hidden treasure near Quezon City Hall. The food and the staff are great!
They serve authentic and yummy Chinese dishes. We always order the Roasted Cold Cuts Combination (jellyfish salad, asado, soy chicken, beef brisket and century egg) --appetizer pa lang, ulam na!!
Then for the main course, Steamed King Fish in Special Sauce has umami flavor and guaranteed fresh (from their aquarium), ; and for a balance, we need some vegetables or meat--but why not get both?!---Mixed Vegetables with Lechon Macau! This dish has both Chinese and Filipino flavors, because I can taste a mild bagoong taste.
Other dishes are great, too such as their noodles (pancit canton/birthday noodles); and the dimsum are inexpensive yet delicious. They do have a 30% discount on selected dishes during weekdays at 2:30pm to 5:30pm.
I just wish they renovate the place soon, as the furniture are outdated and the lighting is not very good--creating a gloomy atmosphere. As they say ambiance plays a big factor in attracting more customers.
You can remember old chinese restos in binondo which caters good and delicious dishes from its menu. All original in taste. ill come back for more if i have a chance to eat here again.

Red Palace is a humble, somewhat untapped restaurant along Malakas St., a bit dwarfed by bigger and more popular restaurants in the area. The ordinary-looking facade gives the impression of a Chinese restaurant that serves authentic-tasting Chinese food, and in fact, it is. As my experiences with this establishment are all on a "to go' basis, my review is based on and limited solely to the take-out food. No comments are given on the service and physical infrastructure.
1. Mixed Vegetables with Lechon Macau. The yin-yang of crispy, flavorful lechon Macau, and firm yet adequately cooked vegetables (with the predominance of broccoli) makes this dish one of my favorites despite its simplicity.
2. King Dao Spareribs. This is a recommended item for pork lovers, a not-so-commonly encountered pork dish consisting of well-cooked but tender fried pork slices smothered in sweet and spicy sauce. With its strong flavor, steamed rice is obligatory.
3. Deep Fried Lapu-lapu with Sweet and Sour Sauce. This species of fish does not require further description. The fish is first fried to crispiness and then coated in a delicious blend of sweet and sour sauce. Although sweet and sour dishes taste so cliche, that of Red Palace is really good.
Definitely one of the best Chinese Restaurants I've ever tasted . Their menu is simply Exquisite and has a lot of other foods to choose from . Their seafoods and dimsum are highly recommendable . Would surely come back for more . π
Surprisingly the food here is great. This Chinese restaurant is a hidden treasure within Diliman. On the flipside, they have VIP rooms that are not so VIP looking. Otherwise, very friendly crew and affordable food with great flavors to match it.
Definetely one of the best chinese restaurants this side of town. I have been here several times and I still want to come back for more. This restaurant will definetly value your money. I highly recommend this place. Their seafoods are definetely and their bday noodles is the best i have tasted so far.
This is the chinese restaurant near our office, just a few meters walk and we're already there. When someone treats us for lunch, this is the place to have a festive meal. A lot of variety to choose from dimsum, meat to seafood meals. Peak hour is always weekdays lunch time not dinner so this is a better place to have chinese food with the family in the evening where other restos are crowded.
