We were going to my nephew's baptism but had a stop over at Hap Chan for some quick snack. We emphasized that we were on a hurry and thankfully, our food was served fast. We just got the Hakaw, Siomai and Butchi and they were all good.
We were looking for a place to eat along Quezon City after mall hours when we stumbled upon this branch of Hap Chan.
Good thing this branch is open until 2 am and has ample parking slots.
The parking attendant was helpful and assisted us.
During our visit, we wanted to try something new so we ordered sliced beef steak with mango. We also ordered the usual yang chow rice and kutchay dumplings.
The yang chow rice was filling as a bowl is already good for three to four persons. We were just two that time but we still managed to finish it.
The three pieces kutchay dumpling was served on a traditional bamboo container. It tasted just like the usual dumplings but it uses a gelatinous kind of wrapper. We also would have loved if they have black vinegar sauce to partner it with but the calamansi and soysauce is already a good match for it.
This place is still perfect for family gatherings because it is spacious.
It was also cold during our visit.

Very good tasting food! dimsums are so satisfying. I love their chinese classics, yang chow fried rice, and desserts. Drinks are really refreshing.
My favorite Chinese Restaurant ☺ Speechless and no word can explain how delectable their dishes are. Best yang chow for me! I know all foodies out their loves Hapchan as much as I love it!
Good chinese cuisine (not really sure of region). But they have the best siomai in town! But beware of the long wait times. But it is highly worth it..
Food - 4.5/5
Food is great since it is cooked upon order. We've been eating here since I was a teenager and the taste is still delicious. Their menu has a wide selection of chinese cuisine including congee and noodle soup.
Service - 4.5/5
Staff are approachable and you can ask for suggestions on what they can recommend. They know their menu very well.
Venue - 4.5/5
Tables are spacious, place is well lit and well ventilated. Parking slots are many and this place is PWD friendly.
Been here a while ago. Foods are okay to me. They serve foods just like kowloon. What I really like the most is their shrimp plum and it is best paired with the sweet and sour sauce of their lumpia. Good thing to have a tea on the table before they serve the food. The place was okay but a little bit crowded, a busy restaurant, full of customers. There's one thing i noticed about their service. We were in a group of 12 and 3 tables were combined for us. They serve the plates, cups and other utensils on one side of the table only even though there's enough space around us for them to walk to the other side of the tabe. They served the pile of plates on one end of the table with the utensils on top, they also served water and the cups on the same end of the table. They didn't do that to the family next to our table. I know that the place was busy but this is a restaurant. The service must be organized and must not let that happen especially in groups.
Love to dine in this branch since Banawe branch is no longer available for years now. Recommended dishes are: spareribs with salt and pepper, yangchow fried rice, calamari, hot shrimp salad and my favorite dessert chilled taho with mango and sago!
Service and staff are great too!
We decided to dine here before going home its near our house. We ordered soup sweet and sour pork, lumpiang shanghai dimsums etc. Food tasted good or we might be so hungry having our dinner at almost 12mdnight. Place is ok service is good.
We ordered the beef brisket noodles which are served in a huge bowl. Super laki ng serving kaya mabubusog ka na. Malambot din yung beef kaya hindi mahirap na nguyain.
We also ordered their chicken feet. I'm not a fan of spicy foods pero this has a little amount of spice lang naman, tolerable. Masarap din.
Lastly, we ordered their Hakaw. Favorite ko mga dimsums kaya naapreciate ko ang Hakaw nila. Malambot, masarap!
Beef Brisket Noodle, Beef Hofan, Sweet and Sour Pork/Fish, Yang Chow Fried Rice, Beef Brocolli, Seafood Canton, Butchi, Hot and Sour Soup, Nido Soup, Black Gulaman, and Almond Jelly taste great. Dimsums taste average. Patatim taste bland. The Staffs are quite snobbish and unfriendly. The place is always full, but still organized.

We love ordering salt and pepper spare ribs with salted fish rice. The service is a bit slow. This is our where we get our quick Chinese food fix.
Good ambiance. The staff are accommodating. We went there at around 9 in the evening and the only thing we can order is chicken (most food on the menu are no longer available). When we opt for chicken, half order is no longer available so we settled for whole order when there are just two of us. The food is okay and the spare ribs is not as soft as I have expected. We have to wait for our turn as well to get seated. It is indeed full on a Sunday night.
Chinese comfort food award goes to hap chan! Serves as my go-to place for main dishes served quickly and with quite an affordable price. Dishes are flavorful and place is quite clean. Appreciate restaurants that serve complimentary service tea, as most asian restaurants do.
My go-to place for sure delicious chinese food around the area. We make sure to order beef hofan and radish cake, but damn, their hotpots and main courses or the bombs too. Not be the best place if you're not eating as a group, as the food and the price are better for sharing. :)
Been here several times already! Loved their nido soup with quail eggs, yang chow fried rice, sweet and sour pork, hap chan's fried chicken and fish fillet. The staff is very friendly, and the food is so delicious (the price is right for the food quality.) The service is very quick too! More power, Hap Chan. 😊

The best chinese take out in a budget. Food variety is excellent from dimsums, fried chicken, congees, noodles, vegetables, and buchi. Must tries: pechay, beef with brocolli, sweet and sour pork, hototay soup, assorted cold cuts, yang chow 😍, and birthday noodles. Servings are for the big appetite with very reasonable price. Staff are friendly and efficient esp. for take outs. (They give you all the condiments you need). 😉 Definitely, a classic that will keep you coming back.
ate here yesterday lunch with a guest. he stayed somewhere along quezon avenue and this was the best restaurant I could find along the way to the hotel. Hap Chan did not disappoint. In fact they rarely especially this branch. service was efficient and prompt. food preparation time was decent and pricing was just right. Though they didn't have live seafood for sale, the cooking style pretty much makes up for the lack of good raw materials.
Go to place for a heavy meal or Chinese food craving. You can never go wrong with their beef noodle soup. Our order will always include fried eggplant with filling, tofu steak with broccoli and hakaw on the side. Greasy food that's worth it once in a while.

Hap Chan is one example of a good Chinese restaurant as it fits the taste of both the Filipino and the Chinese markets. Unfortunately, years down the line, the quality is not kept and many stores have closed. This branch is one of the few branches that constantly improves and renovates, thus it is one of the packed branches everyday.
I like how extensive the menu is. They cover most courses in Chinese foods: dimsum and congee, roasts, hot pots, short courses, and desserts. For this visit, we tried hakaw, vegetable sotanghon hotpot, and my favorite, fish and taufu hot pot. Hakaw is cheap at 4 pcs for Php100 as their hakaw is of good quality with at least 3 pcs of shrimp in it. The sotanghon is good for vegetarians as it is loaded with healthy Chinese vegetables like wood ear, lotus seeds, white fungus, and broccoli. The fish in the hotpot was good and I wished there could be more. The tofu is the flaw in the dish, it is sour and I think they used tokwa than tofu. The sauce is good though.
There are ample parking available.

Best Chinese noodle soup...they serve your food really hot and u will surely enjoy the tasty dishes. I like the set up and ambiance in this branch compared to the smaller ones like in e.rod and some in Manila.
Our family's Sunday lunch after church. My dad's favorite. We usually order hakaw, shrimp siomai, sweet and sour pork, lemon chicken, beef with brocolli, chicken with salted fish fried rice or yang chow fried rice, and lechon macau.
Your typical Chinese restaurant. But their service is quick and they serve bottomless hot tea. You sometimes have to remind them though :p Servers aren't that friendly though.
Food coma after. If you have left overs you can always take it home.
I LOVE THEIR SHAKES HERE! SPECIALLY THE WATERMELON! UGH, TASTE REALLY NATURAL! PLUS THE NIDO SOUP! DANG, EVERYTHING'S GREAT HERE! KEEP IT UP :))

This is the fave chinese resto of me and my parents.. We always order yang chow rice, shanghai, crispy noodles, beef broccoli, lemon chicken and buchi.. 😉
I love their Hakaw and the Birthday noodles. The serving was good for sharing and the price is reasonable. It would be better if the crew members can be more friendly and smile more.
My favorites here are: Steamed Fish Fillet with Garlic, Beef Slice Fried Ho Fan
I discovered Hap Chan several years ago. The Steamed Fish Fillet in Garlic has been a favorite then. Up to now, the dish taste and quality is still very satisfactory.
