Worth its price! I ordered their Sausage Bolognese for lunch at work, since my co-worker already decided she wants to order her food here and I just tagged along. Thanks to her, I found another restaurant I'm sure I'll go back to! ^^ At first look I already know I might not be able to eat it all because the portion can be shared by two people. XD Second, even when still sealed, I can already tell from the delicious smell that it will taste good, and I'm not wrong!! ^^ Looking forward to bring my food buddies here, aka my best friend and boyfriend. On separate occasions of course so I can try as many menu items from them as I can hahaha!
Order crabonara, pwede sa gardenia white bread yung sobrang sauce.
My friend and I both ordered the 1/4 Italian-spiced chicken with Salta Salad. It was quite tasty and filling. It wasn't your ordinary chicken and salad tandem, but it elevated your tastebud's experience of chicken and salad.
It was also a steal to get the cake and coffee for just PHP 130. We got the tiramisu panacotta. As the price indicates, don't expect much from it as you would from the usual tiramisu. It is still nonetheless good with coffee. Their americano though can be much better.
Overall, I'd love to go back and try the other items on their menu also. Their staff were also accommodating especially with assisting me for parking. I had a lovely experience here.
Been there twice and it never dissapoints! More power and continue to give out the best!
Not value for money. All foods tastes bland. Never again 👎👎
I spend my birthday here with my partner. It was late afternoon and everythinh was perfect. Especially their Crabonara hence will definitely go back here. I hope they tell where do they deliver, areas I mean. Hoping for expansion for multiple branches too! God Bless ❤
Gravy for the pork was quite salty, so we dipped it in the garlic or mayo sauce instead. The crabonara tastes better than it looks hehehehe
I love the food. Reasonably priced. Too bad I didn't check the app. I found out late that this establishment is a Zomato partner.
Ambiance
The restaurant was located on the side of the road. It was pretty convenient since it was easy to follow Google map and direct our taxi to Salta Italian Rotisserie Restaurant. When we arrived I was struck at how small the place looks. Since we are having our monthly #ConnectedWomen QC meet up it was not big enough to move around freely. However, it was enough to allow us to re-acquaint with each other and to meet new friends. Salta was able to maximize the space for registration, lecture, and dinner.
Food
We were served with a plate of ¼ Chicken and Beef Rib Duo with 2 Salta Sides P420
.
The plate that we were served with includes Garlic Parmesan Foccacia Roll if I am not mistaken. The bread was soft and complimented what I consider as a complete meal. Since I am strictly adhering to my diet I do appreciate that the food that we were served with has meat (both chicken and beef), pasta (It looks like Tomato Gamberi and a fresh side salad making it a complete light meal indeed.
The icing to complete this “cake” was a serving of refreshing drinks. We were given two choices:
Turmeric Ginger Juice
Lemon Cucumber
I picked the latter but, I think I failed to capture the drinks being focused more on #ConnectedWomen QC (Quezon City) Meet Ups gathering for the day.
Service
The staff was attentive to our needs and proceed in distributing the food to us. One of my friends has another appointment so she asked that they pack her dinner. She later told me that they forget to include her pasta being busy serving other guests. The staff was also allowed us to pick among the two available drinks for this dinner which I think I have mentioned above.
Overall, it was a great experience being in good company and having good food to share it with. I am contemplating on bringing friends along the next time if the urge to go Italian either lunch or dinner hits me.
My curiousity was piqued by a good friend and super Zomato Foodie Crawler Alfredspineda 😊 piadina pic.
I must say, at 185 petot, the 12-inch Piadina Carne Duo (pepperoni and Italain sausage) is a steal. It delivered on taste, and more. For an additional 10 petot, I'll try the Piadini Milano next time (chicken and prosciutto). Yes, Virginia, am coming back.
I would have given an overall rating of 5 if only the Angus Cheeseburger was seasoned a bit more. And the bread didn't fall apart.
Don't get me wrong, the 188 petot third pound patty worked really well with the gouda and cheddar sauce. I got the added fries and iced tea just to see what fries they served. You can see in the pic that they didn't mean fast food strings but wedges.
The food was served well within the 10 minutes they set. It's a good village pizza and drinking place. They even have a happy hour buy one take one wine list... uhuh. So the service is still above par and prices on point.
Would definitely go back.
Had brunch here with a friend just today, the place was literally empty but we were still greeted and served with enthusiasm.
For my main meal, I had the Spinach Tartufina Carbonara (no photo, I ate right away, lol). It was well seasoned, the truffle flavor just right and the pasta was al dente, overall, a good choice. My friend had the chicken pesto which was equally good.
Might come back tonight to take advantage of their Happy Hour!
Insta-worthy place to eat! Great art wall designs and lively atmosphere. Very clean as well. The food is great for its affordable price. Crabonara is kinda unique. We loved the pork belly. Very much recommended for you eat here if you love pasta and grilled food.
I just found this place through Google, and ordered the following:
Caramelized walnut has a right amount of everything - dressing, greens, walnuts and cheese on top.
Mee goreng noodles has a kick of curry flavour, sweet and spicy with burnt garlic flavour. Fresh (Portobello or shiitake?) mushroom was used and take note, not the canned button mushrooms so it’s a plus point. Big shrimps were added and not the extra small shrimps, with thinly slices of fish cake. This tickles my palate and wanting to have another serving but nah to more carb.
Bistecca de Angus was thin when served. I was expecting it a bit thicker. I asked for a medium rare but served well done. Could be because of the thin sliced. It was tender and juicy anyway which is most important for me. And the flavourful steak sauce compliments the beef which is not the typical gravy we are used to. 😊
Will come back and try other menus at Salta - that is for sure!
We ordered the bbq balsamic beef ribs with plain rice and rotisserie cheesy potato, 1/4 italian spiced chicken and beef ribs with pesto rice and cheesy potato as sides and crabonarra. I loved the spiced chicken. It was tasty and perfectly cooked. The potato was also good. It was tender but I would care for more cheese. The crabonara was great. It has chunks of real crab meat and the egg made it even richer. The sauce was divine and the pasta was al dente. However, the beef ribs lacked flavor. It smelled like balsamic, but didn't taste like it. It also lacked the smoky flavor you would want on ribs and it was severely underseasoned. I do not know if the staff expected the ribs to be bland because they served liquid seasoning with what we ordered. However, I would still love to come back in Salta and try their pizza.
Visited this place once pero nagpadeliver ako ngayon thru foodpanda. Yung place nila parang friuli like. Malamig. Yung lasa ganun parin di nagbabago super sarap and tender lalo na yung rotisserie chicken and yung price super sulit kasi around 150-250php pasok na pasok sa budget pero yung lasa ibang level and yung sauce nila nagbiblend talaga sa food and napaka generous ng serving. This deserves 5 stars.
Great servings at great prices. Food was delicious and staff was polite. Loved the ambience as well. Must try their coolers especially the Gumamela-Cucumber cooler (the yellow one). Sadly, they don't have alcoholic versions of it or I'd be a regular drinker here as well hahaha.
Can’t say much on the food because we just ordered wine and nachos and the lone slice of cake. The place has a laid-back neighborhood vibe and I’m happy to know this area is nearby, yet away from the famous Maginhawa. I can go back for this lemon cake, as in. It’s a toss between calamansi cake from Starbucks and Dayap cake from Chocolate kiss.
The ambiance is nice and chill.
Serving portion is good for 2 persons. We didn’t know this so we ordered 1 dish for each person.
The staff was also nice and attentive. We used our Zomato gold for 2 + 2 on drinks but they have happy hour promo which is buy 1 get 1 for wines and 5+1 on beers from 5pm to 12am
Good food for the price. Would be good for light or heavy meals. Enjoyed the bacon and egg pasta as well as the crabonara fries. Will definitely recommend!
I was violently craving for a good burger one time. Not for the fast food type but a real one made of real beef with real cheese. A good friend suggested Salta. After consulting the every reliable Zomato for direction, told my driver to take me to Mayaman street.
I fell in love with the place. Extremely cozy, has that rustic feel and yes, unpretentious. When the menu was handed over, I changed my mind immediately about burgers when I saw Piadina. Ordered for the Piadina Carne Duo (grilled Italian Quesadilla of Italian sausage, Pepperoni, Mozzarella, Romaine, Pesto) and a Coke Zero.
I was half-way eating my Piadina when my executive producer called. Ordered for the Piadina Milano, chicken this time to share with her.
I loved both but the Carne Duo had more character. It more flavorful so unlike the Milano which has the tendency to be on the bland side. But just the same, both are way pass the passable. Go ask my EP.
Will definitely do a revisit and try their 100% Angus Cheese Burger!
What we had:
Nachos for starter
Brick Oven Porkchop
BBQ Balsamic Ribs
Apple Popcorn Cheesecake - - not sure if that is what it called... I forgot :)
Serving time was quick. We got our orders in 10 minutes and it did not disappoint.
The Nachos had enough toppings that you would enjoy it and the chips itself had flavor on it's own. Very generous amount of toppings!
Both the Brick Oven Porkchop and BBQ ribs were very delightful. Meat was soooo tender we did not need to use the knife. The sides went weel too - - cheese potato and tuscan slaw. The sauce was just right to enhance the taste of the meat but even without it, you will surely enjoy your meal.
The dessert was right on. Even before we were done, the servers were attentive enough to observe the timing on when to serve the dessert. Likewise, it did not disappoint. Not too sweet and perfect combination of the glazed apples, popcorn and NY Cheesecake.
Overall, the place was really nice. Small but comfortable. Very clean and orderly. The servers were nice, polite and attentive. We came for dinner and there was not much guests. Parking tough can be a challenge.
So... I would recommend giving this place a try and will definitely come back!
The hype is real! Never thought it would all go along perfectly. Their ‘plain’ burger is not plain at all. #cravingsatisfied #crabonarra #angusburger #nuffsaid #serviceandfoodisthebest #Iwillgobackwiththefam #perpetualsaikoh #NOfilterneeded 😁

I love their cakes! 😍 Love the ambience of the place. Crews are nice and attentive! 👍 Fast service. Their Parmesan Chicken tastes super good. A must try! 200 pesos for main course, a slice of cake, and a drink! Super budget friendly!
Food: We've ordered their Lunch bowls and it was delicious.
Ambience: It was quiet and nice. Their staff are very accomodating and friendly.
We'll try their pasta menu next time. 👌
Great food! Their chicken really is delicious. They also offer other meals, including pasta and pizza, which are decent, but not really something that you'd go back for.
They recently moved to a bigger space, which is great! It's now more spacious and can accommodate more people.
Their pastries/cakes are decent, but if you're craving something sweet, just go for a cake slice and do not order the coffee + cake combo (check out pic to see what I mean)
This place is very instagramable has nice ambiance, relaxing choice of music, great food, and friendly crews! :) Perfect place for special occasion. ❤
My First time here and I was absolutely how great this place.
First, the ambience is very good. Spacious area and they have great design. Not to mention that the place has a very pleasant scent.
The waiter recommended their rice bowl meals. A must try! For a price of 200, you’ll be getting great quality food, a slice if cake, and a glass of delicious ice tea.
One more thing, try their nachos. Its great.
Unassuming place but great food!! 👌😊 will definitely come back!! Pasta was delicious as well as the homemade sausage! Hope to try their pizza as it was sold out when we went. Keep the buy 1 take 1 wine as a regular item!! 😁
Number of times visited: Once
Parking: Street parking
Food: We ordered rice meals and thoroughly enjoyed it. We got the Balsamic Angus Tapa Rice Bowl and Brick Oven Smoked Pork Belly. Both were generous in servings and they both tasted great. Add 50pesos to the rice bowl and you get even a cake and an iced tea. We got the Tiramisu Panna Cotta - it's just okay. It's alright because it was not too sweet.
Price: Food priced just right.
Service: Attentive staff, quick service.
Place: Place is quite small - they have indoor and outdoor seating areas. They have an acoustic problem indoors though. The noise is amplified with more people coming in.
Repeat: Yes! To try the pasta and the pizza!
I had a great time! The food is great and the staff are very kind and accommodating. The food serving is just right and the place has a unique style and design that makes it very nice. I would love to comeback soon.
It's good. I wish I could eat here again. The prices are great for what you get. I look at the place longingly. If only I could eat here again.
Super happy with my smoked pork belly, it was so juicy and will give you that melts in your mouth experience. The Tuscan slaw side dish did justice, its tangy and sweet at the same time, the cheesy baked potato on the other hand, needs more time in the oven and a little sour cream on top would really help alleviate the taste. My friend ordered balsamic ribs, a little tough for me, we hate the Sicilian vegetable dish, there's something off with the way it was prepared. The cucumber mint gumamela cooler is refreshing.
For the interiors: I find it a little bare for an Italian rotisserie, maybe need to change your wallpaper to bricks and add more plants and lamps.
Menu: Please laminate it. Add more salad sides for the meat selection.
Service: Impeccable, the staffs were friendly and knows what they're doing. Will return next time to try other dishes.
The place is a bit small but the ambiance is so good. Good place to hang out with friends and family. Servers are also accommodating and nice. Their CRABONARA, Piadino and Roasted chicken(i forgot the name) is the best! And the Italian Nachos Overload too. Best thing is they have wines and beer. Price is reasonable. So over all, it was so good for us.
It was the lamb shank that won me over. I mean, where else can you get a succulent, delicious hunk of prime meat for less than P500? And right near my neighborhood? It was wonderful to know that Salta is Pappare's sister restaurant. Pappare, at Visayas Avenue's Food Hive, serves really good pasta and noodles like their creamy carbonara (found here too!) and Mi Goreng. However, Salta's menu tends to lean toward Mediterranean so there's pasta, sandwiches, pizza and their yummy meats - roast chicken, beef and lamb among others.
Pet friendly....theyre nice to pets.. great food big servings..affordable wines and sangria promos! Will go back .PORKCHOP MUST TRY!! Great ambience instrammable wall and free wifi
Ordered 3 pastas, 2 pizzas, and chicken parm.
The pizzas were pretty good except for the fact that we had a hard time finding the bacon in their bacon and egg pizza.
Pastas were ok since even though we ordered 3 different varieties (red and white sauces), they all had a similar distinct taste of creaminess in them.
Overall, still quite good.
What we ordered:
Crabonara, chicken and beef duo, sides: foccaccia roll and cheesy potato
The crabonara tastes surprisingly good although it doesn’t really look it. 🙈 All other orders taste good too just that the most memorable is the crabonara. ☺️
The place is typical; nothing fancy. I’d go back here for the food.
We ordered the Crabonara, Beef ribs, 4 cheese pizza, white sangria, and Ube Panacotta for dessert. All these came out to P1,200. Serving sizes were more than ample for the price and food taste and quality was pretty good. All in all, a better than average Italian resto in the village, away from busy Maginhawa.
I just didn't like the side order of fries. Tasted like the frozen variety you get in supermarkets.
Yummy food and friendly staff! What more could you ask for? Been here once will definitely come back to try their other dishes and of course their excellent selections of Italian wine!
The beef ribs were okay, a maybe one more piece and it would’ve been filling (as a stand-alone dish). Chicken parmigiana was good, could use a bit more sauce and cheese. The crab and bacon carbonara was strangely good. Background music could be a little happier hehe
Had 1/4 chicken, beef ribs (with cheese potato, pesto rice and Sicilian vegetables on the side) and nachos. One of the best tasting chicken I've ever had (waaaaay better than Kenny Roger's). Food and service was great. Reasonable price. Small but pretty place. There's nothing I didn't like here tbh. I'm glad I took my mom here for her birthday 👍
This restaurant came well recommended, it's just taken me a while to try it.
It is a sister restaurant of Pappare, which is in the The Food Hive 2.0 on Visayas Avenue and focuses on pasta and pizza. Salta attempted to focus on chicken, sandwiches, and pasta, but a more recent menu (which is forthcoming) has updated the selection to include pizzas offered by Pappare, as well as an expansion of their pasta and sandwich options.
There's steak and lamb shank on the menu at very reasonable (I'd say low) prices. They must have a good relationship with their suppliers and are including some loss leaders in their menu - maybe because this is a passion project and they care to offer good value to their customer.
There were some technical issues with the preparation on the day of my visit but I understand what they're doing.
I've tried their Bacon, Basil, Pepperoni pasta. It is a quick-rise recipe, airy and crunchy; it was okay, but there was no basil on it.
I also ordered their Crabonara pasta, which is good for sharing. Good creamy sauce, but with a bitter undertone - probably something burned that wasn't removed from the pan. Also, the flaked crab, which was added cold, was not reheated in the sauce. Too bad. The handmade pasta was great.
They aren't highlighting one of their strengths, which is their home made pasta; in fact, if one notices, they try to make a lot of everything themselves - their pizza, their pasta, even their bacon.
If you appreciate freshly made pasta, this is worth trying. They have probably three more pasta items on the menu, and I intend to try them on my next visit, together with their meat.
They also have a prosciutto piadina on the menu. If they had more ingredients to play with, their piadinas could really take off as an offering. From the photos, really lovely presentation.
Definitely on the upper tier of restaurants in the Maginhawa area; one that deserves the short list.
FOOD: Their Italian Rotisserie chicken was indeed to die for! It was juicy and savory in every bite. Best of all, it was so sulit for its price, big portions even the side salad, unlike another famous chain resto offering the same meal at the same price *ehem*KR*ehem*
We also ordered their Sausage Pizza (forgot the whole name) that was so delicious we had finished it before I was able to take a picture!
AMBIANCE: The interiors were warm and cozy but a little small. There are only about 7 tables inside and 1 table outside. A chubby tabby cat sits guard outside, which adds to the charm of the place.
SERVICE: Although we arrived late at night and stayed near closing time, the staff was still friendly and attentive.
I've been following their instagram for quite a while now and seeing the crabonara makes me drool. So when me and my sister had the chance to go here, I made sure to order the crabonara, and ot did not disappoint.
Service was prompt, since we were the only customers that time, very accommodating staff.
Place was quaint, but with all the good food, they should get a bigger space. :)
The place is small but cozy. I love the space especially the wall mural!
The server was very attentive and offered suggestions on what to order. We especially loved the sausage with foccacia bread and the roast chicken! The Crabonara was huge in servings and can be shared by 2-3.
Will surely go back!
We ordered Bisteca de Anggus & Roasted Chicken my oh my the best! This one goes right into my memory food lane super Chicken Moisture is there, and the Bisteca was so juicy perfect pair with their pesto sauce! Super Clean and Nice ambiance! A must Visit in Maginhawa talaga!
Hmmm. Upon entering the establishment, the smell of "panghi" was what welcomed my nose. I immediately motioned to the waitress that the aircon stinks. After my mother wondered aloud if we should just move someplace else for dinner, staff immediately wiped down the floors with lysol and the smell improved (or maybe our noses got used to it?). Later on, we noticed the outside cat kept sneaking inside the premises. It could be their pet or something, but in any case the smell of ammonia coming from the aircon kinda made sense after that.
Space is very small, so kinda cramped if you're a party of 8 people.
Food was okay to pretty good to very good.
Okay/meh: Crabonara pasta. This was pretty much left untouched during the night. Perhaps it's our own preferences, but it wasn't wow-inducing. Definitely lots of crab meat, but also too rich (nakakaumay) with the egg, bacon hardly noticeable... obviously very far from authentic carbonara or any variation thereof locally, but I'm not sure what it wants to be.
Pretty good: their meat dishes are hearty, well-seasoned. We got the group meal to try the chicken, pork belly, bbq beef ribs and the sausage. Sausage and chicken were pretty good, pork belly was standard, bbq beef ribs pretty good and tender but a bit too sweetish. Pity the aircon was so strong our food got cold immediately. Pesto aioli was weirdly sweet 😣 I wonder if they use Best foods mayonnaise?
Very good - piadina milano and pesto rice. Wish they could have indicated on the menu that pesto rice had sausage though so we could have asked them to remove to accommodate the vegetarian in the party and she could've tried. Anyhoo my mom's friends took home the leftovers after lamenting that they're already gaining weight 😅
I'm not sure why it's called Italian since the menu seems to be a mishmash of dishes not really Italian but Italian-inspired (also the menu has the Portuguese word for accompaniment on it).
Service was excellent 5/5, and the waitress and waiter who served us were efficient, polite and attentive. They offered me alcohol to disinfect scratch wounds I was surprised appeared on my leg while dining there.
You will barely find an italian restaurant that serves meat in majority of their menu, Salta is one of them. This restaurant is a treasure here in Quezon City. I was able to try their chicken, lamb and bbq beef ribs. The chicken was tender and the taste is rich in herbs. Their lamb was so tender too and the taste is just perfect. The beef was perfectly cooked that goes well with its side dishes. Also, I was able to try their Crabonara fries and I loved it because there's a lot of crab meat in it. Since the owner of this restaurant is also the owner of Pappare in Food hive, you can order their famous crabonara pasta there and spinach tartufina carbonara. All of the serving of their food was very generous and the service of this restaurant is great.
I am looking forward to try their Bistecca Di Angus because I heard it is really good. I'll definitely come back here.
You gotta give props to establishments who are consistent. Not only that, but they are upping their game one notch at a time. In case you are not aware yet, they are also behind Papare located at the Food Hive food park in Visayas Avenue. Offering a wider variety of dishes from steaks, lamb, and of course their very tasty pasta that really convinced me to recommend this to the rest of Team Tikim. The lamb is so soft and tender and the price is fair enough for the serving size and most of all, the taste. When we visited there, I was with some friends who came from the south and even them were convinced that this could easily earn a spot in the south. Just be aware that parking could be a bit of a problem especially during peak hours. Hopefully they get to solve that minor issue. But other than that, their food is definitely worth trying.
Everything tasty, cheesy, and sinfully good in one shack! Salta! Italian Rotisserie Chicken Bar offers a plethora of sumptuous dishes waiting for you to devour.
Starting with things light and easy, I got to try their Piadina Milano. It's chicken, sliced ham, all hiding under the sheets of Italian flatbread and mozzarella. Really good and generous in serving!
Moving on to things even more delectable would be their CRABonara fries. It's a bed of potato wedges amidst soft boiled egg, all dressed in crab meat. A unique dish that keeps you wanting more!
Moving on to things heavy to the belly! Their Italian Rotisserie Chicken was cooked just right in sense that the skin was crispy while maintaining a good soft meaty texture. The Balsamic BBQ Beef Ribs was also one for the books, especially to meat lovers out there. It totally lives up to its title and caters well to one hungry person. And for my favorite, the Lamb Shank was so delectable, I couldn't help but binge on it. Sidings go along with it in the form of Tuscan Slaw, Pesto Rice, Sicilian Vegetables, Garlic Parmesan Foccacia Roll, Rotisserie Cheese Potato, and Salta Fries.
To cap it off, we got served Spinach Tartufina Carbonara
and Pappare's Famous Crabonara. Both really good! The former, is spinach and cream; the latter, crab meat, crab fat. Both are served with soft boiled egg.
Totally dig their Tuscan Sangria that comes in both red and white versions. I preferred the red more, as it was more for my taste buds.
Overall, Salta! Italian Rotisserie Chicken Bar is one stop you SHOULD NOT MISS whenever you're along this area. Definitely worth my 5 rating, and most definitely worth your time and appetite.
We've been around at Maginhawa and tried so many of their food offerings however, you'd yet to discover still another gem found just on the other side if ever you'd come and pass by the busy Mayaman street. Salta is one of the newest Italian Bar and Resto that would surely satisfy your cravings for innovative and unique dishes. Though the place is quite small, their enthusiasm and eagerness in serving you good food will not come to waste.
One of the starters we had is the Piadina Milano which is a Panini consisting of rotisserie chicken, prosciutto ham, romaine lettuce and mozzarella cheese. It looked simple yet very appetizing. I loved the combination of ham and chicken inside the slightly toasted wrap. Another starter is the CRABonara Fries which easily became our favorite. The fries were topped with a soft boiled egg and crab meat. Something new and delicious that I can't stop munching over it.
Going straight to their mains, we had the Italian Rotisserie Chicken, Balsamic BBQ Beef Ribs and the Balsamic BBQ Lamb Shank. Noticeably, I couldn't taste the gamey flavor and smell of the lamb shank which is why I loved it more than the two others. The chicken by the way had a very nice aroma and flavor. The meat is tender and juicy, light but still tasty. I only had a few portion of the Beef ribs but it was fall off the bones and I enjoyed the smokey bbq flavor. You can add some of the side dishes with your mains. They have the garlic parmesan focaccia roll, Rotisserie Cheese potato, salta Fries, Sicilian Veggies and Tuscan Slaw. My best option would be the cheese potato. It has a nice soft crunchy texture outside and wonderful cheese on top.
Lastly, two unique pasta dishes were served. We had the Spinach Tartufina Carbonara. The white creamy sauce complements the earthy flavors in it. The second pasta dish is the Pappare's Famous Crabonara. It has crab meat, crab fat, bacon and soft boiled egg on top. For many, eating crabs is a puzzle to eat that is why I don't get to eat much of it from the seafood sections but now is my chance to indulge in all its meats and fats at the same time with a pasta. It delicious and is a must try.
What's more? They have Tuscan Sangrias from the menu where you can pair with your scrumptious dishes. I prefer the red Sangria better than the white one but you can try both of course.
It may seem a bit pricey but it's all worth it. Amazing food choices and great service. Overall, we all enjoyed our visit and definitely coming back soon. Kudos!
Offering a wide variety of meat, pasta, and paninis, I, unconsciusly, zoned in on the CRABonara fries. Though everything that was served was exquisitely delicious, like the cheesy Piadin Milano, the perfectly roasted Italian Rotisserie Chicken, and the flavorful Balsamic BBQ Beef Ribs and Lamb Shank, I kept coming back to the CRABonara fries. It was nothing that I’ve ever tasted before yet I can already conclude that I can eat it for the rest of my life. The large cuts of fries were perfect for the chunks of crab meat and egg that went with eat. I can gush for forever but I will just let you be the judge. Salta! Italian Rotisserie Chicken Bar prepares food in an unforgettable way that will make you keep coming back. Oh, did I mention that they also serve Sangria to go with all the flavors and yummy food? Yes, yes, they do.
I just hope that they open a branch somewhere near thr south so I can have that party in my mouth everyday!
Salta is a brand new restaurant that just opened in Mayaman Street that is very competitive.
The place is small and it's quite difficult to get a parking. Where it absolutely shines is the food
The Piadina Milano (Php 185) which is rotisserie chicken, thinly sliced Italian dry-cured ham, romaine and mozzarella wrapped in thin Italian flatbread - delicious
They then serve us with a very inventive snack called CRABonara Fries - fries topped with a soft boiled egg and crab meat. Definitely a must try. I've never tasted anything like it.
Next was the main dishes
Italian Rotisserie Chicken (Php 490) - the chicken skin was very juicy and the meat was very tender and flavorful
We were then served with Balsamic BBQ Beef Ribs (Php 205) with plain rice. Its flavors are very sweet and the texture is very tender.
Finally the Balsamic BBQ Lamb Shank arrives. This is my favorite dish out of all. The serving is enough for a group and the price is just right. The soft and tender texture of the lamb comes with Salsa Verde - a cold sauce that is made out of herbs that definitely accentuates the flavor of the lamb
They all come with side dishes: Pesto Rice (Php 40), Salta Fries (Php 35), Garlic Parmesan Foccacia Roll (Php 30), Tuscan Slaw (Php 40), Rotisserie Cheese Potato (Php 50) and Sicilian Vegetables (Php 50)
They also served us with their pastas
Spinach Tartufina Carbonara (Php 205) - smokey and salty. You'll want it all over again
Pappare's Famous Crabonara - pasta topped with the yellowest soft boiled egg with some crab meat, crab fat and crispy bacon - an absolute favorite
Drinks!
We tried their Tuscan Sangria
White - Limoncello liquer with calamansi juice and some fruits.
Red - Limoncello liquer with orange juice and some fruits. My fave ❤
Try this out guys!
Every dish has a hint of saltiness to it which makes it perfect for liquer. Which they also serve. Perfect!
My friends and I tried this resto and ordered almost everything in the menu! What stood out the most were the Bistecca di Angus, Porkchop, the Crabonara and its sister, the Crabonara fries. The sides fit the meats so well especially the cheese potato, and that magic pesto sauce is the BOMB! We really didn't expect such high quality to come from a small resto. It's truly a hidden gem!
This little hole in the wall resto along mayaman was definitely a surprise for me. I visited this place twice. Tried their carbonara, pesto pizza, porkchop with sides and one of their sandwiches. The food tasted really good. The flavors aren't common and everything I ordered was well seasoned. I think they just need make the pasta more al dente. The staff are really nice too.
The place is nice, small but clean. The beef is tender and well seasoned. For me, the bbq pizza is not worth it as it is small and almost no toppings at all.
P.S: cheese potato taste good only when it's hot.
Magkalasa at magkakulay.

I had 1/4 Chicken w/ Pesto Pasta, value for money and combination of tastes is 5/5 stars! Really loved the pesto pasta and dip (you can dip anything in it). Rotisserie Cheese Potato was perfectly baked, flavorful with crispy skin while still soft on the inside. I would also recommend to indulge in a glass or two of their Sangria. ;)
Had an amazing time here. I enjoyed their food and drinks, it was really satisfying and great value for the price! Loved everything about Salta! 👌🏻
Super delicious brick oven pork chop and flavorful roast chicken! Servings are big enough and each meal comes with your choice of side dishes that are very yummy too!
The beef bbq was so tender and the sangria was full of flavor. The place is also nice and cold. Will come back to try their burgers and pasta. 😁
