I tried their chocolate chiffon. I'm not a fan of Goldilocks but this cake surprised me. I liked it. Chocolate moist cake and chocolate frosting on top and on the side.
The dinuguan is always a winner. I also ordered their lasagna and I was surprised that it isn't bad. Kinda reminds me of the lasagna in Family Mart which I personally liked by the way so it's definitely good to dine here. It's also affordable.
Goldilocks is more than just a cake go to place. I found out through a mini feast this morning. As I await in a long queue, my list of what to order added up until it went up to 4! I was alone.
I enjoyed their Caldereta most. The meat was soft and sauce had a bordering salty touch. Just enough kick to make rice more sensible.
The Bangus Sinigang had fat servings of meat. The soup sour enough for anyone's liking. I love that it included sili.
The best one is their fresh all vegetable lumpia with its typical sticky and sweet 'dressing'. The wrapper was super thin which is preferred to highlight whats inside.
Fruity de Mare. Its a reminisce from childhood. Still love it. Still moist and light. Have it again like me?
The plus of this experience adds up to the price. Everything was only Php 330!

My favorite guilty pleasure here is the Choco Rhum Ball. From the first time I tasted it back when I was in grade school to today when I already share it with my kids, it never fails to give me that decadent chocolate fix. It's a compact rhum-infused rich chocolate ganache-drizzled mini cake that makes a great dessert or a mid-afternoon snack. Whenever I enter any Goldilocks branch, I head straight to where the Choco Rhum Ball is and try to buy at least 5 pcs (for my kiddies and me!).
The cake shop of my childhood. I still remember the birthday cake from Goldilocks my parents bought me. Their meals have definitely improved however it is still their desserts that I like and enjoy the most. I like their cathedral window slice. Sometimes I buy a whole one. I also like their cassava cake. It has a great consistency and just enough sweetness.
