It's great that it's open 24/7. One of the very few restaurants that are still open at midnight. Went to eat here since we wanted to try the original American burgers and if it's as good as the burgers in the US. It's interiors reminded me so much of a classic diners in the US, and I just love restaurants with classic interior. Also, their staff (who are the night shifts) are very accommodating! Service was great!
We ordered the smoke house burger and the Philly cheesesteak. The smoke house burger was very juicy, the patty releases its juice as I cut it. However, it didn't taste like it was smoked. Expected more of the barbecue sauce, but the mayo dominated the taste of the whole burger. The Philly cheesesteak tasted good, but nothing special.
My boyfriend and I made use of our Metrodeal vouchers which entitled each of us to a Grand Canyon Burger set.
It was probably the biggest burger I have ever eaten! I swear, even if you haven't eaten all day, it will still be more than enough to satiate your hunger. Taste-wise, it was not the best burger I have tasted, but it was definitely one of the better ones. There were so much in between the huge burger buns that every bite contains a lot of flavors and varying textures. I also loved that they served us a LOT of extra mayo! You have got to love mayo on burger and fries on mayo.
For the place, I absolutely adored the whole theme of the restaurant! I have watched a lot of movies which involved old-school diners and it was really enchanting to feel like I was in the set of those films.
For the service, the crew was very eager to attend to our needs and was very agile in their movements. I also love their uniforms! I wish they had danced, though, like the ones I see on tv and the reviews I have read, to top the whole experience.
Never ate a burger as BIG as that!π±ππand a tasty, creamy shake as their salted caramel!ππ π thanks to a friend who got the perks of having a Johnny Rockets G.C.ππππ Sunday's best!
Food is superb specially the shake! Fell inlove with the strawberrt banana shake. Large servings, nice and sweet crews. Good for a fridate after going to church or from a friday joyride.
Came here at like 1 in the morning so I was the only customer at that time and had the opportunity to appreciate how retro the interior is. It felt as though I was in an alternate reality, being in that diner in the wee hours of the night. I loved it.
In terms of food, their burger and fries are delicious hands down. Not entirely life changing but nevertheless delicious.
Best burger I've tasted. The place is so niceeee and they ambiance is very pleasant. The staff are very attentive and approachable. We ordered Route 66 and I feel like we're off to heaven because it's so flavorful. Hope I can visit them once again to try what they could offer more. Cheers!
Definitely the food was good. Sana lang yung strawberry shake available lagi kasi yun ang best seller nila :)
Pero I'm still satisfied! Thanks
THUMBS UP FOR JOHNNY ROCKETS ππβ€ I loveee their burgers here π just yum! and their fries πππ wow! although, it's kinda expensive but the food is so delicious! β€ the waiter here are so nice and funny. π when he puts the ketchup, he'll put a " :) ". The ambiance here is nice and big β€
Get the smokehouse burger!!! The crispy onion rings just add a whole new dimension to the burger experience. The staff danced for us too even if we're the only customers at that time. Kudos to you guys!!
The American style ambience is really enticing. I felt like I was on a 70's Travolta film
The wait time is minimal, it was a quiet place.
Food is awesome!!
Twas a great experience, totally a must visit.
Ordered the Grandcanyon with fries and iced tea. I must say, It's super worth it. Worth every calories! Not your typical burger patty!!!!!!!
For our monthsary, my boyfriend and I decided to go to Johnny Rockets. It's an American-diner style resto that is very easy to spot along Tomas Morato.
We went there around lunch and surprisingly, there were no customers and it stayed that way until we finished our meal. The place was spacious and I love the old-fashion jukebox they have on display.
On the menu, they have entrees, pastas, desserts, but an American diner will not be one without the burgers and milkshakes. After browsing the menu, we settled for the following:
Half Pound Grand Canyon Burger - GRAND is the best way to describe it. The moment I saw the staff bringing the plate to our table, I was astonished as to how tall it was. It had two layers of juicy beef patties, bacon, and cheese and onion rings in the middle. I didn't know how to get started really but in the end, I decided to eat the bottom half together with the fries. It was so filling! I had the other half packed for take out.
Roast beef burger - this is what my boyfriend order. There were so much roast beef. It was tender and made tastier because it was dipped in a demi glace sauce with mayo. It had grilled onions and shredded cheddar cheese.
Chicken tenders - I liked that the breading of the chicken breast was not thick, meaning, there was more meat than breading. It was cooked just right, not burnt or raw. Meat was really tender and tasty.
Strawberry-banana deluxe shake - I liked the combination so this is what we ordered. It was served on a big glass and the staff gave us another stainless glass which also had some of the shake. I guess this was the excess from the mix they prepared. It was nice that they gave it to us. The verdict? It was super yummy! I did not have that "umay" feeling, maybe because they used vanilla ice cream for the mix. We weren't able to drink everything so we had about a half cup for take out.
Overall, the experience was nice. The food was yummy but I guess they can benefit from a renovation because the place looked old. Maybe updating it a bit, making it a little dated without losing the vibe and touch of an "American diner" will make it attractive to diners again.
I like the Super Sundae in this place. It's two scoops of vanilla ice cream, almonds and whipped cream. I had them add chocolate sauce to it as well. It really tasted good and presentation was really nice too.
Johnny Rockets has an American diner theme. The menu here consists of all-American food such as onion rings, french fries, garden salad, sandwiches, cheesedogs, hamburgers, shakes, floats, and desserts. The burger and sandwich here are big. The milk shake here is also good.
As you enter Johnny Rockets, it is as if going to a whole new kind of experience. With it's old American themed place and with the jolly servers, it is sure to be a great experience eating there. My family and I used to dine here on late night evenings to enjoy some burgers and fries. We usually order the Original and #12. Overall the burger is good but there are some parts of it that doesn't make it worth the price. I think that the patty they use does not have a great quality and the buns may sometimes look a bit flat. But what we enjoy here are their unlimited fries. When we used to eat here, a burger would come with eat all you can fries and that is what we usually enjoy. The price is quite expensive though. It may be unreasonable considering the quality of the food but the experience they give out makes it worth it. If you enjoy a lively vibe, the workers there dance to entertain the customer. Overall, if you want to experience an old fashioned diner then try out Johnny Rockets. They may not have the best food but the experience is something unique and very enjoyable.
This old fashioned american themed diner is one of a kind. It resembles that of the old burger joints you see in the movies. When we went there, on a friday night, It was empty, like only two tables occupied. We ordered chicken wings with bbq sauce, rocket double and the original burger. Food came in after 10 mins. Chicken is still raw inside, while the burgers are ok. Nothing special bout their food just the theme. Too pricey for the taste.
Talking about dinners? No doubt! This is the right place! ... We've been to this place for the first time way back year 2013. And it's because of curiosity. Well, this place didn't disappoint us. And what a coincidence, the food server that night was my partner's classmate or schoolmate (I think), way back highschool days.
Tried Johnny Rockets' original burger and shake plus unlimited fries whilst enjoying their old-school American vibe.? It's a good place to relax and did I mention it's 24 hours? Talk about being considerate to all night owls.
Johnny Rockets has an old-school American vibe. A typical diner. They really have a very bright lighting. Music's that will make you sing along to classic pop rock songs.
We ordered the #12. They call it #12 because on a scale of 1-10, it's a 12! Cool isn't it? The taste was fairly above average. But you could see the oil pouring down, in short, mamantika. Who cares anyway? It's a burger! It was really a 12 for me.
We also witnessed the dancing servers. Happy staffs bring out happy customers.
They've burgers of the day for Php 195 and milk shakes for the day for Php 159 I guess, I forgot. I ordered that and I think I paid Php 350+ . But, they also have combo meal for Php 295 but you can only avail that before 2pm. So, be there early if you wanna try it :D The burger is good but not so great. It's not that juicy. But, I love the crispy onion ring in my burger. It adds excitement in every bite haha.. The ambiance isn't appealing to me but the service is absolutely goodβοΈ
Yehey for their delicious red velvet milkshake! It comes with an extra refill in a silver cup! It is very thick and yummy! Midnight cravings satisfied cause they are 24 hours! Yummy burger and fries too!
If you want a real American diner experience, Johnny Rockets is the place for you.
It offers milkshakes, french fries and superb burgers in, well, superb prices. I forgot what I ordered here but it was a double patty burger that I enjoyed for midnight snack. How sinful is that!
The burger patty was real juicy and the bacon strips were thick. You can really feel every penny's worth in your every bite. Just make sure you get straight to the gym after to burn all those calories! Their french fries though isn't that good. Too oily and too thick with bland taste. KFC's fries are way better than this diner. They offer unlimited fries but I bet after loading so much calories from their burger you wouldn't dare try their unlimited fries offer. And again, it's not that good anyway.
Hey it's not that bad to pig out once in a while right?

Their milkshakes are to die for! Can't wait to go back! Their catsup containers can put a smile on your face, too! And dine on specific intervals to see their crew's dance performances, on roller skates.
After beer tapsilog crave. After party smoothie crave. Best at NIGHT.
trip advise for
-guys: Well before going "there". Try treating her here (after / before).
-girls: Smooooooothie. One of the best in Metro.
The prices of the food at Johnny Rockets are no joke. They obviously think that their food rules the rest of the competition because of how they price their food. The service here is good and I have to say it is one of the best I have seen. It is unlike other restaurants that would make you wait too long after you asked for the bill. We ordered burgers and soda and it was not long before they served it to the table. I did not give a tip though because of their atrocious prices.
