Me and family had dinner here few days ago for my sister's birthday, I've read all the reviews for this place. Don't go here for the burgers or other items, you'll just dissapoint yourself, just really come here for the unli steak. The service is up to standard, we reserved for the wine room. Overall we had a great time and our tummy was happy and full. Average per pax inclusive of service charge = 2,250

They have Unli Steaks on Weekends. We got Sirloin Grade 7 Marbling for Php2,000 per head. Comes with really good mushroom soup, sauces (peppercorn, bearnaise, chimichurri, signature tomato sauce, salt and pepper), mushrooms and veg, and herbed butter. Steaks are pretty good value for money. Got a glass of Borsao joven tempranillo to cut the fat down. I'm pretty content and would love to come back. Good value promo if you're fanging for steak.

Legit Steakhouse! Superb beef quality. They even have dry aged steaks and dry ageing facility comparable to Michelin Star rated steakhouses.

The resto is easy to find..but i was surprised that the place is not as big as i imagined...but i like the concept that almost all there food is placed in stone plates...even the dessert...place is good for fine dining and dates 😊
The staffs are friendly, alert and knowledgeable with the food they served

Worth the splurge! We availed the unli wagyu steak promo. Everything was just so good, from the soup of the day (pumpkin soup) to the ENORMOUS wagyu sirloin to the steak fried rice; although we should have just shared one serving of rice to make more room for the steak. Cooking the steak on our own hot stone was a nice idea because we got to cook our steak to our preferred doneness. Their signature sauces went well with the steak. Quality gastronomic experience, indeed.

The steaks are good and for their promo price, it was well worth it. Must visit to experience the grilling of the steak on the hot stone, almost same as how they do it in Japan.

As a rookie steak eater, I didn't really came with an arsenal of comparison groups to rank this steak with. But we went there to have a taste nonetheless.

They have a promo for this month of October 2018, featuring their wagyu steaks, offering unlimited servings of either a grade 7 or grade 11 variant for P2,500 and P3,000, respectively. They served it together with cream of mushroom soup, steak rice, some vegetables and 5 variety of sauces. These side dishes were okay, nothing too fancy, while their sauces are a good adjunct to the steak themselves. Speaking of, their steak has a good texture to it, satisfying marbling and just a good flavor to it, though it didn't explode into my mouth like the wagyu sticks I have tried in Izayaka Kikufuji although that will be an unfair comparison. But overall, I got to commend the preparation and presentation of the dish altogether. Perhaps when I go back, I might forego unlimited because the serving made me full on the first and force feed on the second.

Anyways. The place is fairly nice. Simple with a bit of a fine dining feel to it. The number of chairs is not that many. There is parking space but it is shared with other establishments in the building.

So anyways, stoned steaks is worth the try if you have an extra budget.

Dining experience here is definitely what’s perfect for steaks as you’ll get to cook your steaks according to your own liking. What’s great is they serve their steaks on lava stone plates which allow diners to eat their steaks still hot, directly after cooking.
What we ordered (other than those in photos): oyster rockefeller, truffle mac and cheese, caesar salad
In the photos: lava cake served with vanilla gelato, chocolate gelato

I’m not a big fan of steaks but Stoned Steaks’ captured my heart. I love their tenderloins and wagyu steaks. And as a person who loves cooking, I’m happy to know that you can cook their steak on your own using a lava stone plate. I’ll definitely comeback if I have steak cravings! ☺️😍

I’ve always enjoyed cooking. From picking which recipe to use, shopping for my ingredients, doing the necessary preps, and the cooking per se, I’ve always been a culinarian at heart. And so it goes without saying that I deeply enjoy restaurants that offer this kind of interaction from their diners. Aside from knowing my food was cooked fresh off the grill, one thing I enjoy is the unique thrill it gives to my senses. From seeing the change of colors, to smelling the fresh aroma, to hearing the exciting sizzle, everything about the whole sensory experience excites me. And finally, I’ll get to enjoy the same experience with one of my favorite dishes: Steak. Finally, I’ll get to cook my steak hot and fresh, the lava stone way at Stoned Steaks Restaurant Quezon City.

This is one of those higher end steak places but at a good price point. I only thought to review after my third visit though. hehe. you also cook your own steaks so that's either a plus or a minus depending on how you feel about letting your steak rest.

given the value for money they only have one real competition in the area and they're on the same street hehe.

striploin - don't know if I got a bad cut but mine was extra tendon-y. still, that herb butter really gives it a loot of oomph. there's also their signature sauce and peppercorn sauce if you prefer that. or just plain rock salt and pepper. but, herb butter for the win.

tenderloin with prawns - now this was really good for the price. a palm sizes tenderloin about half an inch thick and 4 big prawns. plus the lemon butter sauce was just wonderful. the lobster miso that came with it was forgettable. and salty.

Dark chocolate ice cream - not your average grocery icecream for sure. plus it came in a cold pot so you can enjoy at your leisure.

overall I'd come back. plus their multitude of promos (unli angus/Wagyu on Tuesday Wednesday I think and 50off Wagyu Thursday) makes it an easy decision.

Update: try to splurge once on the dry age. It's amazing!!!

Truth be told, I just eat steak whenever there is a special occasion because of the usual hefty price tag associated with it. So when I was invited to the media launch of Stoned Steaks, a newly opened steak restaurant in Quezon City, I unhesitatingly accepted the invite. I got to meet the owners of Stoned Steak as well as sample some of their delicious offerings.

I don't usually crave for steak. But when I do, my go-to place would be House of Wagyu. I take delight in searing imported quality meats in a stone grill. I don't get to do that often, however, because of their hefty price tag. Now I could with Stoned Steaks' similar concept but made affordable and better.

Last Tuesday, I was invited to a carnivore feast at Stoned Steaks' media day. Not only did I had a series of gourmet meals prepared fresh and delicious, I also learned more about steaks and stones. Did you know that lava stones are probably the oldest and healthiest form of cooking meat? It also retains high temperatures, trapping the meat's natural flavor.

I also took a nosedive education on steak. We were served on a 350-degree Celcius lava rock two juicy steaks, Wagyu Ribeye Grade 4 and my personal favorite, 28 Days Dry Aged Wagyu Ribeye Grade 6. The latter had a more intense flavor with a slightly fermented taste to it, contributed by the beef aging process. The higher the grade, which is determined by a governing body, the better the quality of tenderness, juiciness, and flavor.

The steaks also came with two types of rice, spicy Kimchi, and meaty Steak rice. Besides rock salt mixed with pepper, you can also choose from an array of sauces, for a variety of tastes. They have signature stoned, mushroom, bleu cheese, red wine gravy, mustard, peppercorn, and my top pick chimichurri.

On top of meats, we also indulged in classic cheesy Oyster Rockefeller; Picnic shaped like Truffle Fries; addicting Wagyu Italian Spaghetti Meatballs; filling Seafood Arabiatta; and fresh Stoner's Catch of salmon, prawns, and scallops.

To end this gastronomic adventure, owners Dick and Mars Balajadia, also threw in homemade Vanilla and Chocolate Ice Cream in cold Mortar. It was an appropriate finish to a series of hot and savory dishes!

Thank you power couple for having us around and being with us throughout this journey. I can't wait to bring my friends here and let them witness themselves the wonderful difference of lava stone grill.

Stoned Steaks is the brainchild of Dick and Mars Balajadia. Married couple and business partners, they also co-founded and co-own Savour Manila Food Park, Diore Salon, Mir Wellness Spa, Mines View Park Hotel, 55 Events Place, and The 3rd Fitness Lab. Stoned Steaks can be found at 55 Scout Rallos Street, Timog area, Quezon City.

One of the best steak places I’ve eaten at! The waiters and even the manager were so attentive & the sauces were to die for. The place itself isn’t cheap but it’s worth it for my grade 6 wagyu 😋 Reading some of the comments and noticed a lot complained about the poor service but this wasn’t the case for me. The restaurant is fairly new having opened just last year so maybe it’s an adjustment thing for them. Either way, pretty worth it!

We had the Wagyu Grade 4 Ribeye and Wagyu Grade 6 Sirloin, both for sharing. For starters, we had Caesar Salad and Truffle Parmesan Fries. Dessert was Dark Chocolate Gelato.

The fries were cold when it was served. Not sure if it was meant to be served cold, but that was the only dish that missed its mark during our visit.

The steaks were wonderful. Perfectly seasoned and incredibly tender. Had absolutely no desire to use any of the sauces they served with the steak.

Definitely worth a second visit.

Wagyu and Certified Angus Beef cooked on lava rock. They have authentic signature dishes and sauces to choose from. They have a very low cost compare to other steak house in the metro.
