Go to and default place for fuss free Japanese food. Still love their Yakisoba after all these years, even with less meat. 😁 Although I still really miss their squid misono.
EDIT: TOKYO TOKYO SM FAIRVIEW IS NEW!
from 3.5 to 4.5
Ordered
Mt. Katsu Sumo (Mt. Katsu + Tempura prawn + 2 unli rices + 2 red tea) 390php
Ramen (snack size) 130php
Dragon maki 160 php
Service: 4
The crews are attentive and polite. You have to get their attention first before they go to your table but you only have to call them once.
Ambience: 5
The place is big and very japanese-ish. The lights are good (their previous place is gloomy). There are a lot of tables and I kinda felt like I was eating in an expensive ramen house.

We like the food! Beef misono FTW! (Previous review)
Their tempura prawns are really good.
Ramen is meh.
Dragon maki is savory for a maki.
The Katsu became smaller in size than before idk why but all in all it's our fave place to eat.
BUT pls the utensils and glasses make sure that they really clean.
The ramen, the fried dumplings and the chicken-nomiyaki bento meal were really tasty. We actually started eating before I even realized of taking a picture. The price of everything is very "sulit" also. I'll definitely come back to taste Tokyo tokyo's new menu.
My friend and I ordered Sumo Meal which is good for two so we chose Pork Tonkatsu and Shrimp Tempura and I had an additional order of potato balls. The Pork Tonkatsu was large and tasty and the Shrimp Tempura was small but overall the meal was satisfying and the price is worth it.
If you wanna like to have some quick Japanese food, Tokyo Tokyo never fails. Always love their bento meals and their red ice tea. Always order their California Maki as my appetizer. Always come back here and never left me dissatisfied.

Loved the ramen and makki, this place is my favorite whenever i eat alone. :) place is so big it won't irritate you if it's crowded. Will be coming back with the boyfriend.
A friend and I were searching for a good place to eat but after a little mishap with some "prudential" employees, we ended up with Tokyo Tokyo. I always order my favorites, their beef misono and california maki. My friend had tempura. Happy tummies! :D
Sauteed Veggies in butter made the difference. Their Mango Kani Salad was quite small for 69 pesos. Prawn Tempura Bento Php224 with Red Iced Tea, Miso Soup and Coffee Jelly and it's a great fix for a hungry zombie after Sunday church. They should use Kewpie Roasted Sesame Seed mayo to kick that Mango Kani Salad.
You'll never go home dissatisfied if you go to Tokyo Tokyo. Their price is just right for the serving and taste you get. Nothing has changed since the first time I tried their food.
I am not a big fan of Japanese food but when I crave for maki, beef misono or tempura, I always think of Tokyo Tokyo as my first choice.
My son loves their california maki since he was 6 years old and he loves them until now that he's almost 15.
But there's one thing on their menu that I have never been really fond of. That's their yakisoba. I love yakisoba but theirs is too greasy. Never liked the way they serve it so I simply don't order it.

When you crave for Japanese food in a tight budget, you can always come at Tokyo Tokyo and go home satisfied.
Their bento meals are good plus the unli rice makes it better. :)
Their branch in Sm Fairview is big, but during lunch and dinner time, this place becomes a haven of hungry stomachs waiting to be filled. :)
Good for students and everyday eats! ♥
If I really want an affordable japanese bento I'll be here for sure :)
Sunday lunch: craving for Tokyo Tokyo
If memory serves me correctly, the Tokyo Tokyo stores were the pioneers of rice all you can in a Japanese restaurant. I also have fond memories of Tokyo Tokyo visiting UP Diliman and selling affordable Japanese inspired food
I ordered/shared a beef misono for two and chicken karaage with my brothers. The beef misono was okay and the chicken karaage was okay. I have never really ordered the beef misono because it tasted great - I order it for the unlimited rice and tweak the garlic and butter flavor with the soy sauce that was available in the bento box. Try searching for beef misono on the internet. I was not able to find a store in Japan that serves beef misono. I saw a restaurant in Japan named Misono, which was the 1st restaurant to serve teppanyaki.
My brother was craving for some chicken karaage and it tasted okay (and again the chicken looked great)
My brothers and I shared an order of california maki. It was served in the Tokyo Tokyo standard: cold sushi (but it still looked appetizing and the generous amount of wasabi surely saved the flavor)
My wife had the best chicken teriyaki (california meal) and my baby's yaya had pork tonkatsu (classic meal)
My mom shared her yakisoba with me. The yakisoba looked great. I don't frequent Tokyo Tokyo for the taste of yakisoba.
Tokyo Tokyo is average tasting at best (and can be considered comfort food for some) but if you include the rice all you can into the equation, it becomes a high value store that you can recommend to your friends (over the other rice all you can Japanese stores, i.e. Karate Kid - which has in my opinion a below average taste).
Paying less than Php 1100 for Japanese inspired food is truly a great value.
I have been patronizing Tokyo Tokyo since college and I will definitely come back again and again for some more Tokyo Tokyo's Japanese inspired food.
