Love the place. Very calm and inviting to eat. It's not your typical asian resto where they employees yell out the orders. The chinese music was playing and it further added to the ambience of this place. We ordered the beef tendon, salted egg prawn, stir fried sotanghon, spinach, 3 cup chicken, corn soup and the taiwanese fried rice. To top it all off, the salted egg bun completed our meal. I would definitely recommend this place for friends and family on any given occassion. The food is great and staff are well trained and friendly. Always a must for superior taste and taiwanese cuisine cravings.

Laksa was the bomb! I just wished they served more of the lumpiang shanghai. We also loved their Xiao Long Bao. Perfect for a lunch out with officemates.

Tien Ma’s is really one of the best Taiwanese restaurants in Manila. I loved their stinky tofu with special sauce, fried chicken and pineapple fried rice. Their serving is also big for the price. This restaurant is really a must try as it is far best compared to the other multi-chain Chinese/ Taiwanese restaurants. It’s all quality food yet value for money.

Great food for a reasonable price. Loved everything except for the dimsum. It's not their strength, imo.

Dimsum wrappers were well made - thin enough, had a good consistency - but the meat filling tasted same-ish for the Xiao Long Bao and the Pork Dumplings. Tasted okay on the XLB (the soup and ginger helped). But idk if that was really how Taiwanese dumplings were supposed to taste like. It was a good thing there was a dipping sauce. Also bothered me a bit that they served it straight from the pan and all crusted up together (see pic with the pancake-like thing, that's the underside of the pan fried dumplings. They didn't even bother to cut off the crust, much less to even turn it over so it will look like dumplings. Huhu)

Everything else was good tho.
- The steamed Lapu Lapu is Soy Sauce was so yummy (how can something that was just steamed taste this good??). 5/5
- Salt and Peper Spareribs were tender and flavorful. 5/5
- Salted Egg Fried Rice was sooooo good! (a bit expensive tho!) Still 5/5
- Tom Yum Noodle Soup. 3.5/5. Takes a bit of getting used to but was okay, I guess. It's my first time to try tomyum so idk if that really was how it's supposed to taste, but I feel like the flavors and the ingredients weren't very harmonious(?). Maybe it need a few more minutes of simmering. Tomatoes looked semi raw. Super spicy, too. But I still kinda liked it eventually.
- We also had seafood fried noodles for take-out and it was so satisfying. 5/5. Would order again.

Service was just a bit slow. They serve house tea and fish crackers while you wait for your order so it gets bearable. They're very understaffed, we feel sorry for their one waitress that had to serve food and take orders and clean up tables! :(

Will def come back for the food, but won't expect much from the service. Would probably order take-out or have it for delivery next time.

Very good food and nice location. It's just as good as their Amoranto branch. The prices are just right for the size of their servings. Of course their signature dish Xiao Long Bao is a must try, also highly recommended are Stir Fried Beef Tendon with leeks, Taiwan styled fried rice, Honey Lemon Chicken, Crispy Pepper Squid, Salt and Pepper Spareribs, and Hot and Sour soup. Also try one of these desserts: Coffee Jelly, Almond Jelly with Lychee, or the Chilled Taho. Keep it up.

Their Xiao Long Bao, Beef Noodles, Laksa and Salted Egg Prawns are our favorites. Food prices are just right for the serving sizes. They have big dining area at this branch compared to the one in Makati. Parking spaces are also available at store front and back.

Man, I have come to love this place. It's sooo easy to overorder because their dishes are for sharing without being too sparing in serving sizes, affordable, and delicious.

Get yourselves some good Xiao Long Bao, Kung Pao Chicken, and Three Cup Chicken - they're the recipe to an uber-nice day. I'll have to go back every two weeks or something to maintain the bliss.

There's a consensus that the draw of this place is the bad service, but so far have not had any of that in our time.

Went to have dinner here with daughter last Saturday night. I have heard and read reviews about Tien Ma's XLB. This made me want to try it. The place was a hit dim. They could add more light to brighten up the ambiance. Its typical Chinese Food joint. The attendants were polite and courteous. We ordered of course Xiao Long Bao, Three Cup Chicken, Hot Prawn Salad, Beef Brisket Noodle soup and for dessert Salted Egg Custard Bun and their Pan Fried Sesame Pancake. We liked the three cup chicken which was flavorful but oily. The prawn salad was not too sweet and salty that i find it to be just right. The flavor of Beef Brisket soup was very light which i like and the noodles were very firm. The XLB was not as good. The broth was bland in taste and the meat inside breaks. I have tried different XLB from different restaurant and the most that stand out (by my standard) is Lugang. The Salted egg custard bun was ok. I bit bigger that Din Tai Fung. Overall dining experience was good. Can't wait to go back and try their other menu.

I love Tien Ma's XLBs. Not that much a fan of the fried ones but the regular ones are always a treat. The place is not that neat and the staff could be more attentive but these don't take away from the fact that they serve great food at amazing prices. Still one of my go-to's in Libis.

Great tasting food in small servings. Ideal for couples dining in. Their shao long bao is comparable to that of dinn tai fung. Their salted egg prawn is a must. Sarah Salvador

I loved their Salted Egg Prawns, Xiao Long Bao and Spareribs.

Service was not that good. They seemed to lack staff.

The place looked untidy when we went there

Tien ma is one of my favourite xiao long bao restaurants because mainly because of the flavourful (and not gingery) filling and thin melt in your mouth dumpling wrapper. Theyre pretty affordable at 200/basket (9pcs)

ordered 155 meals from their branch in c5. Ace, the branch manager is soooooo great! he handled my orders very well (though some were not followed but still tolerable). Kudos to his whole crew as they were all accommodating and always service with a smile. Got a problem on the missing food, they still give it to me and gave some buchi's and food vouchers. Had a smooth transaction with them. Kudos Guys! :)

The Xiao Long Bao is definitely a must try! Very delicious. For 9 pieces, it is just Php200. The soup inside was a lot than I expected. Really good! Also loved their Taiwanese Beef Noodle. Prices are very reasonable for the big serving! :)

Because of the reviews and the proximity to my residence we had lunch here.
The good:
Xiao Long Bao was good and comparable to Din Tai Fung and costs a lot less
Seafood tofu pot had a clean taste and very light
Chicken and corn soup was not salty and just right
Deep fried stinky tofu was...well stinky
Steamed fish fillet was good as well
Taiwan fried rice is ok

The bad:
The sauce of the deep fried stinky tofu was not enough to neutralize the smell
Polunchay was too soggy
Service was chaotic. There's no one to lead you to your table when you get in. Its like a free for all table seating.

And to Zomato: your map is wrong. The place is just beside Coral Garden.

🐽 Food: Enjoyed every meal that my family ordered! This place is underrated. I suggest that people try it out to find out why I'm raving about it. We ordered Xiao Long Bao, Sliced Beef with Leaks, Three Cup Chicken, Taiwan Style Fried Rice and Hot Prawn Salad. Yummy!

🍴Ambiance: It's a bit dirty. That's why I'm giving them a 4.5 only.

👫 Service: Staff need to be a bit more attentive. They shouldn't show that they are sleeping at the back area too.

💸 Price: Super affordable! All meals are for sharing.

Ordered: Xiao Long Bao, Gyoza and beef brisket noodles.
Xiao Long Bao is decent with enough soup and meat inside. It doesn't break easily and the dough is just the right thickness. It could use a better dipping sauce tho.
Gyoza is a little tough but still tasty.
Beef brisket serving is big. Nice broth and very tender beef.
All in all, good enough to satisfy our cravings for Taiwanese food.

Be prepared to eat family style here! Food is clean and great, not overly oily. Also, their Xiao Long Bao Dumplings are excellent! I like their take on these; There is a good amount of broth inside and minced meat but it doesn't burn your tongue or shoot out in copious amounts like at normal places (their ratio is more broth than meat).

Fried dishes are perfectly crisp and not soggy, and the dishes have a depth of flavor that rings authentic over Americanized. The seafood dishes are recommended, and look for the more uncommon offerings on the menu - these are always the wisest choice.

I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for some cheap authentic Chinese food! Tien Ma is definitely my go-to Chinese restaurant in the Libis area.

I have it on very good word that Tien Ma's Xiao Long Bao competes squarely against the other Taiwanese XLB's in town - Lugang, Shi Lin, and now Din Tai Fung. I had no idea until I spotted them that they had opened in the Libis area. Their menu shows off many items under P200, which are good for 3-4 - a good deal right there. Their classic xiao long bao (9 pieces), is also P200. Believe it!

This new branch - the original is from La Loma - is on C5, next to Coral Garden, itself a Binondo transplant. The frontage is narrow, but there's lots of space inside.

I brought my family here on the weekend to try it, and we had road-tested some of our usual favorites, including sweet 'n' sour pork, a squid stir fried dish, a tray of classic XLB, and an order of classic stinky tofu.

The xiao long bao is gorgeous, with an amazingly thin wrapper, so you have to tip it carefully into your spoon with your chopsticks, or it pops right away.

The sweet 'n' sour pork was okay - the meat a bit too thin, and not holding up too well against the deep fry and sauce-coating process. The squid dish lacked salt, even for my low-salt loving mom.

The stinky tofu was very well marinaded, but I didn't overcome the fear factor on this dish, ha ha ha. I put it aside after two bites. The experts will have to tell me if it was good or not.

The food is above middling, the xiao long bao is great. Barring any parking issues, this should be a nice Chinese food visit for anyone in the area.

A newly opened taiwanese resto in the busy street of libis. Upon entering the resto..the focal point you will see is the open interactive kitchen. The food is affordable and good for 2 persons. It is also savoury, well seasoned and unique. They also have lots of dishes to choose from. We got excited with the xiao long bao: 9pcs for p200 only. If you are fond of pickled appetizers..pickled cucumber and pickled cabbage is a must-try! The 3 cups squid is also a good mains to order, very tasty. A simple but delicious, wallet-friendly taiwanese resto to try if you're in the area. We'll be back for more. ☺
