The place has a good ambiance. There are a variety of foods to select with. They also have a dessert corner which includes ice creams, candies, pastries, and diy halo-halo. What I loved most is the sisig. It taste good and crispy. The fried bangus is also delicious but it is not boneless.

City Buffet has immensely improved since the last time we were here three years ago. Back then, food was unremarkable and service was slow. I was thinking though that timing might have been a factor; we were previously here for dinner and recently for lunch. I really could not tell but, just the same, the improvement was welcome.
Ate here with the parents for their wedding anniversary. You get what u pay for. I always go for sushi when I am on a buffet and they have a good variety of sushi. My dad loved the crepe station like a kid in a candy store lol.

Ive been going here alone most and though sometimes with my girl a lot of the times then since they opened but only less often now and on occasional basis only. Overall i am satisfied with everything and like it everytime- food, ambience and including their price. Mostly their staff are ver kind and corteous. It's worth it. Every penny and cents - just worth it. I even remember they served angus beef in their early season along with the still existing roast pork ribs now which is the only thing left you see. But then i was just surprised that they stopped the angus. They also served mini burgers that were winners by the way. Also from a real coffee espresso machine with self-grinder they degraded down to a real junk nescafe machine which switched the fresh taste of coffe beans to the worse 3-in-1 sachet blanch taste. Well it's their call by the way what to offer in their menu. But still most of the foods are still there and the same as when they opened the first day. Ive also seen most of the original staff come and gone and including their chefs or perhaps they just transferred to other city buffet branches? (Do they have branches?). The only advice i can give to anyone or a couple who might want to dine in a quiet place is take the side table away from the long ones because that's where i always sit and enjoy my sushi salmon and tempura. Because the place might get real loud and even annoying at times as most of who goes there are for a bday party or any celebration. The only other thing you need to watch out for are the kids! running and playing around. You just dont wanna bump into them while holding your plate full of your favorite food. I wish the staff or the parents should do and mind their own but you couldnt blame when they are gushing and in pursuit of their taste and hunger And of course their salmon and their cuts are too considerably large compared to the new japanese buffet a floor below - which is the sambokojin :) need not to be coy here. Plus of course the cakes and ice cream for the dessert is a catch. Need i say more of their cook to order - grill bar? So, there it is i'd just repeat myself anymore if any. Hope this helps.
It's our first time here. I must say their food are really appetizing and very much tasty. It's like a cheaper (in prize) version of Vikings, but the quality of food are the same. Plus makakalibre ang mga celebrants na may bday any date ofbthe month. Ang mga staffs ay approachable and magagaling sumayaw haha! Must try!

I'm from fairview but It's my first time here. Now I know why people fall in line and wait for hours just to dine here.
It has different cuisines from filipino to jap to chinese. the place is clean, the staffs are very accommodating, and plus the ambiance is really good.
the food is good too not bad for 618 pesos per head. definitely be back.
We had our late lunch yesterday @ City buffet. I was surprised that they have a lot of choices. The food was good especially the ones I was able to try. The bite size cakes are a hit. The only thing that I did not like out of all that I tried was the sapin sapin. Too bad becoz it’s my fav Pinoy kakanin. It’s bland and it’s chewy (not in a good way). Other than that it was good experience. Oh I like that the drinks are included in the buffet unlike others where u have to pay extra. I just wish that they have a dish or something that sets them apart from all other buffet resto. All the attendants are very nice and ready to help.

I will be making an honest review about this buffet. At first tinatry kong iwasan tong buffet na to since medyo marami raming nega review dito sa kainan na to. pero nung natry namin yesterday. I must admit na naimpress ako. FOOD was great ang daming food choices na masasabi mo namang above average ang lasa... may filipino, japanese, dessert bar, salad bar, marami ding choices of ulam,pasta and pizza. may grill station din may softdrinks, juices, and coffee machine din..... and takenote. all for 599 lang yan on a weekend ha? nagkataon pa na sa group of 8 namin, 2 of them are march celebrants. so naka tipid kami ng 1200. yes tama. for the whole month ng birthday mo, free ka as long as may 4 ka na full paying companion. ambiance is good. need lang ng extra training sa staff para maging accomodating sila at mas lalong gumanda ang service. I've tried all buffets na here in QC and very promising ang city buffet. Still. 5 stars ang rating kp kasi kung price ang paguusapan, worth it ang 600 nyo and mas cheaper to kapag weekdays.
One of the best buffet restos in town. They have A LOT of food varieties of different cuisines worldwide. It's worth 500++ per head (price varies depending upon the day: weekend and holiday rates are higher than regular days). They also offer many kinds of dessert like cakes, ice cream, crepes, etc.
What I like about this resto is that they offer almost everything you're craving for. Quality wise? The foods are delicious and delicately prepared.
Another thing, their branch at SM Fairview has a really good and appealing interior giving you a very sophisticated environment.
The staff are nice and the food is good (average at least). I like the ambiance and the way the place was designed. They should’ve added more food tho.
I can't count how many times we've been here. We usually celebrate our birthdays here. This is prolly the cheapest buffet that offers good food.
Ambiance: huge, nice decors, well lit, well ventilated, clean restrooms
Food: okay, satiating, comes in variety
Staff: accomodating, pleasant, will also sing and dance for birthday celebrants.
Overall, we had good experience here. Better book in advance bec there is a long queue for walk in customers.

Another buffet to try on..
Food - 8/10 ( typical food buffet, presentation wise , though less options , only food that i kept going back is the fries. )
Service - 7/10 ( only buss boys are attentive, also food runners who refills the station ahead of time. , some of the staff (mostly girls) are not smiling and you dont see willingness in them to assist you ),but some are nice and courteous
Place - 9/10 (ambience is good, chandeliers , foodwarmers, centerpieces, floorings, table and chairs, maybe a little more space needed in their buffet area, because you can saw people bumping into each other)
Price. - 9/10 ( all you can eat and drink price is always understandable, just try to add more of food variety so that people can see the worth on what they paid for )

*We went there for our Dad's Birthday .. But their bday policy sucks. They don't give fair privilege to the birthday celebrants just because you only avail thru their online deal. That birthday policy gives me much dissapointment.

Overall experience is just so so. As for some people who used to go in restaurant buffet but atleast we do enjoyed and it's still a good place to bond with your families and friends. :)

We arrived just before opening time for the dinner buffet so we got to try almost everything that could fit into our stomachs. They have a variety of makis and sushis. I also enjoyed the salad section. Nothing remarkable though. The cheesecakes in the dessert section is more jelly than cream cheese. There's also one fish ball on stick (the flat one) that tasted gross. Still, we left with our stomachs full. The buffet is best for the hungry.
I dont know how all these food fits on my small body. Everytime i eat in a buffet, i really want to try the different variety of dishes and desserts. But as addicted to pizza, i did'nt enjoy the flavor of their pizza. I also loves desserts specially cakes and leche plan but what i noticed is that they do not served the leche plan, you have ask the crew and they will give you. Ambience is good.
First time here in City Buffet SM Fairview. Though the food choices is few compared to other buffet restaurants, the quality is still good. 😊 also ambiance is very alive and servers are attentive and courteous. We'll definitely come back!

Magandang araw. Unang beses ko kumain sa City Buffet at hindi na bago sa iba pang buffet restaurants. Mababait ang mga crew, may mangilan-ngilan na nakakalimutang ngumiti, pagod siguro. Malaki, bagay sa mga malakihang okasyon. Hindi kame nahirapang makaupo agad, walo kame lahat.
Una kung hinanap ang carving station. Nakakadismaya. Pero sapat na sa halagang binayaran. Mabilis maubos ang tempura,at shrimps nila,hindi ko na natikman ang shirmps dahil hindi na sila nag refill pa.isang beses lang ata sila nag refill simula 7-9pm.
Hindi ko nagustuhan ang japanese section nila,sa tingin pa lang parang magdadalwang isip kang tikman. Pero may natikman akong masarap na sushi nila,nakalimutan ko panagalan. 🤗
Yong ibang tempura,nakakasuya. Pati pizza. Sayang ang siomai,malaki pa naman pero walang linamnam.
Masarap ang spare ribs, tinolang manok, sisig, bagoong at manga,potato marble, inihaw na salmon,at western rice. At pinaka nagustuhan ko ang NORI TEMPURA nila. Ung tempura nila masarap sana kung malaki yong hipon. Masarap din ang ice cream, d.i.y halo-halo, blue berry cheese cake. Wag na subukang kumuha ng panna cotta,at creme brulee baka masayang lang. Sa kabuuan, mas marami akong natikmang sakto lang, at iilan lang ang masarap talaga. Sa halagang 550.00 sana mas dagdagan pa nila ang mga pagpipiliian at mas sarapan pa sana nila ang mga pagkain. 🤗🤗👍👍

I've been in this restaurant twice and what I can say is that the ambiance is nice. The food choices are great, there are a lot of options. The venue is spacious, no wonder all of my friend's guests at their wedding catered them all. We didn't experience lacking of seats that time.
The only thing that I want to point out is the salmon sashimi. Yeah.. its kinda bland and it tasted like if refrigerated for days, (it should taste kinda like a milk if its fresh) the flavor is not as good. It tried Alex the III tuna sashimi (they got the fresh gurl!) and it is way better than City buffet. And other foods as well they are bland, need more flavor.
Rest assured like the service and the crew, no words to say, they're great.
By the way.. thank you for being patient when we are eating and thank you for accommodating us during my friend's wedding.
went for my dad's birthday and the experience was awesome. although their variety of food was not as wide as some other buffets out there but it was as good as theirs. as a meat lover, i love their pork barbeque so much. also their fried chicken was good. friendly staffs sang happy birthday to my dad while dancing, they also gave him a cupcake. they're so cute. i recommend this buffet, you definitely won't get disappointed! :)
FOOD - One of the best buffet restaurants in town. Perfect place to dine-in for couples, families or friends.
SERVICE - Great, you can call for reservation if you want but during peak season like Valentine's Day, it's very crowded and you have to fall in line before the opening time.
PLACE - Good, nice ambiance, relaxing.
PRICE - Reasonable because they have a large variety of dishes. It will cost you around 1,200 PHP for 2 persons.

My girlfriend and I were looking for some place we can be very full. City buffet is the place were looking for! Great diverse choices are overwhelming. They cater people of different age and taste. There are rice meals and kids' favorites, mote unusual delicacies for the elder, snacks, desserts, and my personal favorite, sushi and sashimi! In sushi, there are different kinds like maki and nigiri. We got our money's worth here in City Buffet. A big belly and trip to the comfort room never lie hahahaha
(Late Review) This would probably be one of the cheapest buffet that ive been to. It is my go to place when i really want to eat. There is also a wide food variety. For a dessert lover, i would say it has a lot of desserts to choose from. From ice creams, to pastries, etc. The place is awesome for me. They have good service. You'll enjoy eating in this place.

This place is perfect for family gatherings especially if you are more than 6. You can choose from different varieties of food.
If one of you has a birthday, the staffs will play a song and greet you a Happy Birthday. My dad is very active during this type of setup by City Buffet.
Had birthday dinner with the family. There were limited choices of food but they were good. My favorites were the strawberry spareribs (tasted like tocino na sweet and sour pork), black pepper spareribs, the rice which I cannot remember its title, onion rings, fresh salmon and of course sushi. What I didn't like was the fatty sisig. The birthday greeters/dancers even asked me to dance with them. And.. it was fun haha! Atmosphere/place was really clean and not crowded, staff were attentive, and also worth the money (550 buffet with unli drinks na)

The food was okay, nothing exceptional. There is limited choices of food but for 600 pesos, it's quite okay. The servers/cleaners are efficient. The food refilling time takes longer than expected.

Often we take out our team for R&R lunch at city buffet and we enjoy pretry much everything from the pinoy hits to the selection of chinese dishes, the japanese and of course all the dessert. For my i like to hang around the grilled section with the skewers and the stir fried veggies.
Its quie a fun place to be. Staff are always inviting and smiling and they also do an entertaining and funny dance during birthdays (or pretend birthdays hehehe just to see them sing). You should come check it out. But I suggest getting there early because even on the normal days it gets pretty busy

I've been a few times to celebrate special occasions, mostly dinner time. I think thrice with my family, twice with Hubby for our dates and once with his officemates to celebrate their Christmas party.I find the ambiance really inviting. The place is spacious and well lit. The buffet areas is clean. They fill-up very quickly. My favorites:(1) Sashimi and Sushi - the salmon is to die for. and you can ask for freshly sliced ones..plus you can also watch as they prepare them for you.(2) Fresh fruits and salads - I keep coming back for the dragon fruit and the oranges. And that Thai salad is just so mouth-watering(3) Steaks - the variety changes, I think. I liked the baby back ribs with the steak sauce.(4) Shrimp Tempura - I like how they serve the dishes in the right temperature here; especially how they keep the tempura sauce hot. My tip is to add the crushed fresh radish at the sauce and you're in for a great dive.(5) Baked Oysters and Baked Scallops - You can ask them to grill these for you, these are limited though. I twice they were not available, we have to settle to baked mussles.(6) Tinolang Manok - I can't forget it..it was made to bring you to the comfort of home cooked goodness.And yes, we keep coming back for more...

This is a buffet that fit everybody's budget and your tummy will still be happy even though the food is not that long but at least there still many choices from Asian dish (chinese, japanese, filipino) to some spanish food
I love this restaurant, not bad for the price and the spread of food, superb! Try visiting their branch at rob galleria where it has a bigger and wider choices of food. ;-)
