Been here twice. Food is good. I like the beef brocolli and mango shake. Service is fine. Ambience is fine. Just a bit hot. Over all recommended.
When my family and I usually crave for Chinese food, Hap Chan will always be our go to Chinese Restaurant.
Went here with my mom and ordered all our favorites. Had their Cu-Chay, Garlic Fish Fillet, Lumpia and of course, their famous Yang Chow fried rice ♥️ We have been ordering these dishes for like 8 years already and still, the consistency of their food was there.
The servers also were very efficient as they immediately gave us the menu and water as soon as we sat on our dining chairs.
Thought of giving this a 5-star rating but apparently the place was not well ventilated. Hoping they could fix their air conditioning asap, cause that is also an important factor for a great dining experience.
Serving time was quite long, but good thing we were able to entertain ourselves chatting. Love their congee, century egg and hakaw. Also, I like that this branch is quite spacious and have more seats available, we didn’t wait to be seated.
We had late lunch and we opted to try hap chan’s shabu shabu. You can mix it with noodles, veggies, and meat! It was our a good way to full an empty stomach 😋. I love the soup specially it’s not salty. You can actually make your own “sawsawan”. Or sauce. They have different choices such as soy sauce, peanut sauce, chili oil, etc. We ordered dimsum also such as siomai and sharksfin.l and of course the chicken feet. It was indeed a heavy late lunch for us. 🤪
It's been years, Hap Chan...
I have to be placed on a soft diet. I know, wtf right?! Anyway, it's pretty hard to look for restaurants based on soups. It's harder than it sounds believe me.
My first instinct was to check out Chinese restaurants. After MUCH debate, I finally assented to Hap Chan-- Bird's Soup with Chicken. A first for me-- I definitely prefer the Hot and Sour soup on a normal day. So my husband got a whole range of food for the two of us last night.
I was supposed to stick to the Bird's Nest soup and their HK milk tea. However the soup was triggering coughing fits and an itchy throat for me. I think it was the consistency of the soup that was throwing me in for a loop. So, I sneaked in a couple of bitea of their lumpiang shanghai and hakaw when my husband wasn't looking. I really do like their lumpia, which made me feel bad about the soft diet (doctor's orders). I didn't like the HK milk tea at all. My hubby finished the siomai, siopao, lumpiang shanghai and hakaw by himself... He loves Hap Chan.😊

Good, affordable congee and century egg. Hakaw tasted weird but the shrimp inside was well cooked. The chilled taho with mango and sago was horrible though. Would come back for the congee and century egg only. Oh, and the staff were pretty attentive too
This is our family's go-to restaurant when we're in the mood for Chinese food. We ordered 2 regular bowls of mami (Wanton and Wanton-Asado) already good for 1-2 people; a small bowl of Beef Mami and an order of siopao asado.
The mami were a bit on the oily side but flavorful enough. We were also given an extra bowl of soup for our mami, upon request 🍲 What's amazing is that our total bill was only about PHP500 and we were all full 😊👍🏼
Opportunity area is the service. Staff wasn't that accommodating nor warm. Although the person took our orders was very patient, so plus points for that.
