Don’t you sometimes crave for good ole’ comfort food? The kind that you used to anticipate all week for your mom to serve for Sunday lunch?. Well, that’s what you can expect at Katherine’s Cafe. Over our lunchbreak, my officemates and I hied over to Ayala Malls Vertis North and discovered this cozy cafe where we could have a quiet lunch to catch up over a good meal, which included:
We looked for a place where my father, who has CKD, could also have lunch. Appreciated how one of the guys (forgot to get his name) took the time to ask the chefs if there were meals they could adjust (no salt). My father had a no-salt grilled seafood sandwich and sundried tomato and seafood pasta. Even without salt, it was filling. Grilled porkchop was also really good. The lemon chicken was just okay. The iced tea was really refreshing though, with a taste of lychee.
Post Wedding anniversary celebration and Super late birthday celebration of Peggy! Kaya naman we tried something new, @katherines_cafe! Here are what we ordered! .

.
Ambiance was an A plus! Their servers always had a smile on their face when attending to our needs. But most importantly, the food was just packed with delectable flavor! We ordered to the Tuna Nicoise Salad as a starter and it was a great way to prep our stomachs for our entrées.
We tried the Chicken Pork Adobo and Stuffed Porkchop. Both were just heaven to our taste buds and definitely made for happy bellies! Also, the mango calamansi iced tea is a nice and refreshing way to break your palette from all the savory flavor.
Will definitely be back for more!
Elegant ambiance, good food with a reasonable price. They also have a friendly staff who made us stay a little bit longer since we are having a reunion.
I love the mango cake.It is not too sweet and taste so good. It's our first time to try this restaurant. Highly recommended.
Well i expect more because of good reviews. But too pricey for me, Overall experience is quite okay. Food servings is small. Staff is okay too, but food choices is common and you can have that in other restaurant with same taste.
Will still decide if i will come back.😊😊😊
The staff were very polite and attentive to our every need and question. Wish they had delivery because their cakes were sooo good! The fried cereal chicken was a bit salty though. Their peach iced tea was also amazing!! Highly recommended! The place is very cozy and has that homey vibe to it.
One thing I love the most is the welcoming ambiance of this place. If you love going to restaurants with a pleasant vibe where you can dine and catch up with friends, then try it here! Tried their seafood paella and chicken fried steak which were both okay for me I guess, a 6.5/10.
Would definitely love to come back and try their other stuff.
I enjoyed the salmon. It tasted like fish without being fishy. The rice that went with it was also tasty on its own. The tomatillos and asparagus was also beautifully made. The clam chowder was also very good. Will definitely return.
Went here for the desserts because we saw the Mango Bang-o was one of the Top 5 best desserts. DOES NOT DISAPPOINT. So excited to try the other cakes. Cookies weren't chewy though but good naman and cheap. The cakes though.
Beautiful place as well!
Food is good in every way. Every dish I tried is really good! Service is awesome. Their staff are friendly and warm to the customers. Price is reasonable for the ambiance, service and quality of food. 👌
We went there after lunch for cakes & tea lured by their ad that their Mango Bang-O. It didn’t disappoint! This mango cake is a harmony of sugared wafer & mangoes resting in a rich subtly sweetened cream. Their Belgian Chocolate Cake is also to die for: thick, chunky, & chocolatey. I want to go back & try their other cakes!
One little sour note: their staff needs to improve on their attentiveness. It’s a small café but other customers had a hard time getting the staff’s attention.
Dropped in at 3:30 for a very late lunch and am so glad I picked this place on a whim! I had the Mushroom Cappucino (pictured) and Steak and Cheese Pot Pie (pictured), both of which I highly recommend! I loved the pot pie in particular, though I was initially disappointed that the Spinach and Cheese variety was unavailable. Steak and Cheese was incredibly satisfying, and while I initially found the side salad had a touch too much balsamic vinegar it did help clean up my palate for the pot pie.
The staff were very friendly and attentive, though there was a technical glitch with their registers that made billing a bit slow.
I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!
Food was good! I love the bleu cheese salad and cereal fried chicken. Had dinner with my friend and the restaurant was pretty full. Servers weren’t as attentive so that could be improved. Will come back to try more dishes though!

Ate my snack-dinner today and was happy that the serving was generous. I ordered the classic carbonara which was a comfort food for me - sonething I needed to perk me up. My daughter who was with me enjoyed the food and the ambiance.
Was greeted nicely and seated right away. My sister spilled water all over the table but the waitress was cool about it. Overall, excellent service and food!
⭐⭐⭐⭐ for the food and service. Their staff were super friendly and helpful. We went there for my sister's birthday and I asked them to put a fountain candle on my sister's cake and they said okay. They made my sister happier. 🤗
I super love their shrimp popcorn. I think I ate most of it. 😁 The foods taste so good but the cake we bought were overloaded with sugar or sweetness that we weren't able to finish one slice. It was the Lemon grass Pistachio or something like that. Also, love their milk shakes. ❤️
This is a nice place to dine with family and even friends. For the multiple times I’ve been here, there’s not a single item from the menu that I didn’t like. I highly recommend the eggs benedict, baked salmon, stuffed porkchop, and the mango cake!
3 🌟 for food taste. I like the combination of omelette but it has too much butter which overwhelmed the taste of the egg. The Chicken palliard (I'm quite nit sure if I spelled it correctly.) spices were too strong. As well as for the pasta, the herb taste was too much.
5 🌟 for service. Very attentive and ever smiling crew. We seated outside so I thought that it will be hard for them to attend to our needs but I was wrong.
4 🌟 for ambiance. I like the location and the interiors. Just a bit uncomfortable when you can feel the shoulder and head of the other costumers from the next table. Kindly see the spaces of the chairs.
4 🌟 for cleanliness.
4 🌟 for overall experience.
My boyfriend and I had an impulse decision to try this resto out and We were not disappointed. Love the menu and the variety of food that they have. Also the price is just right.
Homey restaurants never fail to get my attention. I'd often find myself approaching it and checking its menu. Such was the case with Katherine's Café when I passed by it on my way to Mama Lou's. . Hello, Katherine's Café. . Brightly lit with a bit of Julia Child vibe, Katherine's Café was bustling with hungry guests when I dropped by for lunch last Thursday.
My husband and I went here for our Valentine's date. One of the things that you will notice first is that the place is very homey, but a bit cramped. We ordered lasagna, chicken fried steak, seafood paella, beef casserole and birthday apple pie. The lasagna was the best. Served on a hot skillet, the lasagna oozes with lots of melted cheese. It was the best lasagna I've had. The beef stew on the other hand, was just okay. It was quite sweet and very tender, but the serving size was small for its price. The chicken fried steak was one of my favorites. It was tender and the size can be shared by two people. Both the beef casserole and chicken fried steak were served with a huge amount of mashed potatoes. We also had seafood paella which was so flavorful. There were a lot of toppings: tender squid rings, prawns, clams and eggs. It was heaven. Lastly, the birthday apple pie was so good. The caramel and melting vanilla ice cream create a perfect balance when combined with the tart apples. The staff were also very attentive and corteous, but it took a while for us to get our bill. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner date here. We will definitely go back in Katherine's Cafe.
Ordered cereal fried chicken and stuffed pork chop. Serving size is very generous, good for sharing, and is actually really good! Their cakes are to die for! Had cheesecake and mango cake (forgot what it’s called but it’s like Mango Bravo) Their fruit shakes are okay. Value for money is fair considering the serving size, taste, and quality. Place is quite small and intimate, but very homey and well-lighted. Staff are very accomodarting and attentive. Will definitely dine here again!
I dont know why the other reviews were rated low, but I definitely had a great time dining in Katherine’s!!
I loved the Cereal Chicken!! It was really worth it and the truffle pasta was good to pair it with!
I enjoyed the ambience, the food, and the friendly staff! I hope to visit soon again!
Cute little cafe/restaurant, ambiance is good. Serving is really good for two. Tried the lasagña it was cheesy and gooey, in a sizzling plate. Their banana bread is a bit too sweet for my tastebuds though. Will try the cakes next!
Staff are courteous, friendly and accommodating. Suggests to make a combo meal menu for groups. Sansrival cake tastes like 2 week old cake. Soup too salty and lukewarm not hot. Rice a bit salty.
This tuna salad is reallly goood. My friends tried their signature fried chicken as well and we all liked it so much. We had slices of ube cake and mango cake for our dessert, too good that we ordered whole of each for take out. Haha!
Food was sooooo good and tasty! One of my favorite restaurant. They have big servings in every meal. Adobo is great! Staff are very friendly. Will surely recommend to friends and families.
I got curious about this little cafe in the heart of Vertis North. It’s homey ambience lured me, the packed customers is an indication this is a must try. So I followed my guts and had our dinner here. It didn’t disappoint. Everything was delicious! We had the roasted lemongrass chicken and the stuffed porkchop. Both equally appetizing and flavourful. Big servings, nice presentation and tasty enough. I love the interiors and the homey feel, but it is quite small and can get crowded during peak hours. The servers are attentive and friendly. But my favorite part was the dessert, we tried a slice of their ube cake and my golly, it is heavenly! Not your typical ube cake, it isn’t too sweet. I’m excited to come back and try their other cakes and pasta dishes.
Ube cake is the best! Very moist, melts in your mouth cheesecake like texture with thin caramel crunch base.👍
Tocino tastes like it was marinated with pares sauce then fried to look like tocino (red) which is very unique and tastes really good!👌
Beef tapa tastes like tender beef salpicao. I like it! ❤
Their food is soooo good!! I ordered their Roasted Lemongrass Chicken. My friends, on the other hand, ordered Cereal Fried Chicken and Barbecued Thick Cut Ribs. Their serving is big, enough for a person to really be full. The Cereal Fried Chicken can be shared by 2-3 people. Their staff is really friendly. We ask to take our photo and the server gladly obliged and took our photo with different angles without us asking him to haha! A++ for effort! I’d comeback soon 😊
Perfect place if you want something light yet sumptuous! 😋 We got Spinach Cream Cheese Dip as our appetizer & we enjoyed it up until our last bite! 💖 For our main course, we got Stuffed Pork Chop filled with bacon and cream cheese 😭🤤 Truffle Pasta (not in photo) is so-so. The sauce was too heavy for us.
The place may not accommodate a lot of people but I guess it's the worth the wait?
The food menu were simple.. we had Beef tapa and Mix Pork/Chicken Adobo. We also had Pepperoni pizza which is rich with flavors and was so cheesy! They were good and the serving was enough.
The people are very nice and accommodating. They will talk you out nicely unlike other restaurants who will be snobbish especially when there's a long line.
As a person who loves to eat, I have days wherein I feel so bloated and usually ends up looking for a healthy place where I can eat.
So one day, out of curiosity, I tried dining in at Katherine's Café. And opted to sit outside because there are bo seats available inside.
Ambiance - 5.0/5.0
This café is really really Instagrammable and Tita friendly. If you are dining alone or in a group, you will not get bored because there is always something to do -- take good photos or just walk while waiting for your food.
Service - 5.0/5.0
The one who assisted me was really quick and kind enough to take care of me. Uts rare to see someone to be so hands-on and passionate about her job.
Food - 4.0/5.0
I just ordered Chicken Noodle Soup during my visit. I was expecting something creamy but it was not however, it is good and the broth itself is flavorful. The soup is generous in serving. Will definitely come back to try their other offerings
By accident we found this place. When we had a look at their menu, we decided to give it a try. Their menu is diverse and original. The service was good and friendly. The presentation of the dishes was very nice. The dishes were very tasty, but it didn't taste as expected. I had the lemon grass chicken, but I didn't taste the lemongrass, but it was very good. The ambience was also good. The only thing was that the music was too loud, but it didn't help that there was an event next door with also loud music. Overall it is a very nice place and will go back.
Budget: 1000 for two
Food: We had their milkshake and I liked it. Not too sweet just the right taste. I also like their serving because I think it’s enough for two if you’re just here for a snack.
Place: I love the interior here. Very warm and pretty. The staff were also very accommodating. I like the lighting in this place too,as well as the cute furnitures.
Food: Masarap yun food parang maraming filipino dishes dito, perfect ito sa mga nag Instagram goal 7.5 out of 10.
Price: Price is reasonable, so expected ko na hehe
Ambiance: maaliwalas siya, very homie ang vibes.. the best mag picture 10/10
Services/crews: Accommodating sila, mabilis ang food service nila ☝️
last sunday... going up the escalator from the basement parking... out thru the automatic glass doors... we saw this quaint/ cute restaurant/cafe... we decided to just go here than walk around... it didn’t disappoint us... and we saw a familiar face in one of the waitstaff...
we ordered the spinach dip, a 3 layer mango bango cake and a chocolate shake... and they gave us a complimentary caramel square... that was so moist and yummy! with more dip left... we had to order more of the sliced bread that came with the dip... the shake wasn’t thick as i hoped it would be... missing the shake from in-n-out burger 😔... and the chairs were too big... the people from the other table were pushing my chair so i had to transfer to another table... the cafe wasn’t even full... 🤣 great food! 🤟🏼🤙🏼
The staff workers were very approachable and accommodating. The place is also nice and very aesthetically pleasing, IG worthy for sure! Their food is good, although a bit pricey in my opinion, but I guess the payment includes the ambience & experience so it’s okay!
We had their best seller — the cereal fried chicken, along with macaroni, four cheese pizza, and the tapa.
It was my first time to visit Katherine's Cafe. It has a really nice, cozy ambience (nice playlist too). My sister and I got to try the chicken and waffle combo and flatbread in sardines and kesong puti--both were really good. Oh, they also have Malagos chocolate drink which we liked since we love chocolates from Malagos Farm in Davao. One downside though (I think) is the relatively small space. Probably can fit only about 4 large groups.

Very attentive and friendly waiters and relaxing ambience...plus good food, nice presentation and reasonably priced as well 😊 we loved the caesar salad, spinach cream cheese dip with crostini, shrimp popcorn, 8 hrs beef casserole, mango bang-o crunch cake and old fashioned sans rival! Best sans rival!
And so I got the chance again to visit Katherine's Cafe and this time with my Family...
Selected their Best Sellers! And We LOVED IT!❤
